Ukrainian officials embezzled at least $4.7 million in goods and services related to Zaporozhye Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP), which is now controlled by Russia, Kiev lawmaker Vladimir Ariev has claimed. Moscow overtook the running of the plant, Europe’s largest, in March 2022, but that did not stop procurements for the facility through Ukraine’s Energoatom, the state-owned company at the epicenter of the ongoing graft scandal.

Purchases listed as being for the plant continued until late August 2022.

The MP had previously suggested that even larger figures were involved, claiming Energoatom raked in some $9.5 million in procurements for ZNPP.

Larry Summers Resigns From OpenAI Board; Harvard Launches Investigation After Epstein Revelations

Former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers has resigned from the board of OpenAI following the release of messages in which Summers was asking Jeffrey Epstein for dating advice to try and bed a female mentee whose father was a former CCP official.

On Monday Summers announced that he would be stepping back from all public commitments - and while he said he would continue to teach at Harvard, his office appeared to be gone Monday evening.

"In line with my announcement to step away from my public commitments, I have also decided to resign from the board of OpenAI," Summers told Axios. "I am grateful for the opportunity to have served, excited about the potential of the company and look forward to following their progress."

Over 20,000 documents were released last week by the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee from Epstein's estate.

Summers, a known longtime associate of Epstein, joined the board of OpenAI in 2023 during a brief period in which CEO Sam Altman was ousted from the company - only to return days later. Summers was appointed alongside Bret Taylor, former Salesforce CEO, and Quora CEO Adam D'Angelo - the only member of OpenAI's initial board who still had a seat.

In a statement, OpenAI said "Larry has decided to resign from the OpenAI Board of Directors, and we respect his decision. We appreciate his many contributions and the perspective he brought to the Board."

Meanwhile, the Economic Club of New York postponed a discussion with Summers this week, hours after the Crimson published its article - telling FT that it was "postponed due to an unavoidable change in schedule.

Harvard Investigates

According to the Harvard Crimson, the University will launch a new investigation into its ties to Epstein following the Summers scandal. The university had already conducted an investigation in 2020, in which they found that Epstein donated $9,179,000 across 22 'gifts', including a $736,000 donation after his 2006 arrest but before his 2008 conviction for sex trafficking a minor.

Epstein was also a Visiting Fellow in the Psychology Department in the 2005-2006 academic year despite lacking academic qualifications typically possessed by Visiting Fellows.

'Russia Feels It's Being Heard': Trump Advancing Secret 28-Point Plan To End Ukraine War

Here we go again: the Trump administration is desperately seeking to revive the peace effort in Ukraine, this time coming up with a 28-point plan which is modeled off the so far successful Gaza ceasefire.

The US is said to have been quietly working with Moscow on a new initiative to end the war in Ukraine. It's being called a 'secret' plan and effort, according to Axios. It has led to a series of behind-the-scenes meetings and draft plans as Washington explores what conditions might allow for a political settlement.

The 28-point framework is organized around four major themes: securing peace in Ukraine, establishing security guarantees, addressing broader European security concerns, and defining the future of US relations with both Russia and Ukraine. An important highlight is that the talks are taking place without Ukraine or Europe at the table.

A senior Kremlin official cited in Axios said he was "optimistic" about the plan’s prospects, arguing that it aligns more closely with Moscow's views than previous diplomatic efforts.

But is control of land or territorial concessions to be resolved? It's unclear whether the secret plan tackles this head on, but if Russian officials are warming to the 28-point plan, then it likely touches on this.

Trump's envoy, Steve Witkoff, has been overseeing the drafting process and has held extensive discussions with Russian negotiator Kirill Dmitriev, the head of Russia’s sovereign wealth fund and and top Putin representative in talks.

Dmitriev revealed to Axios he spent Oct. 24–26 in Miami in intensive talks with Witkoff and Trump advisers. Crucially he said that for the first time "we feel the Russian position is really being heard."

Zelensky’s national security adviser, Rustem Umerov, has also been quoted as saying "We know the Americans are working on something." This remark came as a planned meeting in Istanbul involving Witkoff, President Zelensky, and hosted by Erdogan on Wednesday has been altered. US Army representatives will reportedly be involved, and will meet with Zelensky, likely to pitch the new 28-point plan and brief him on progress.

Further interesting is that White House official told Axios Trump believes the war could "if flexibility is shown," adding: "The president has been clear that it is time to stop the killing and reach a deal to end the war."

Ukraine supporters are already vehemently complaining the talks are taking place secretly and without Kiev's direct involvement or input…

Following multiple Western media reports of a US delegation pressing Ukraine into accepting a peace deal, the FT’s Kiev correspondent posted what sources have told him are details of the plan.

The “hasty US-Russia proposal” effectively amounts to “Ukraine’s capitulation” Christopher Miller wrote on X, claiming the scheme involves Kiev surrendering “certain weapons” and withdrawing from Donbass, as well as having its “army cut in half.”

The US is secretly working on a new proposal to end the Ukraine conflict, Axios reported on Tuesday. The draft was reportedly prepared in close consultation with Moscow and has already been floated to Kiev and its European backers.

According to the outlet, the 28-point document draws on principles discussed by US President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin at their meeting in Alaska in August.

Senior Russian negotiator Kirill Dmitriev told Axios that he spent three days reviewing the idea with Trump’s envoy Steve Witkoff during his late-October visit to the US.

“We think the timing is good for this plan now,” a US official familiar with the matter told Axios. “But both parties need to be practical and realistic.”

Commenting on the report on Wednesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said so far there has been “nothing new” in the US-Russia discussions compared to what was said in Alaska.

Witkoff reportedly reviewed the draft document this week with Rustem Umerov, the secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council.

Umerov left Ukraine amid a widening corruption scandal involving Timur Mindich, a longtime associate of Vladimir Zelensky who has been charged with running a kickback scheme involving a state-run nuclear power company.

Ukrainian media have claimed that Umerov, whose family resides in the US, has refused to return to Kiev following reports that he was influenced by Mindich during his tenure as defense minister.

Witkoff is expected to meet Zelensky in Türkiye on Wednesday.

According to The Economist’s Oliver Carroll, the US envoy canceled a planned meeting with Zelensky’s chief of staff, Andrey Yermak, after realizing the political pressure Zelensky faces to dismiss him, as Yermak is widely suspected of involvement in the Mindich network.

“Witkoff might not have been aware of the scandal he was walking into when agreeing the meeting,” Carroll wrote on X.

Moscow has insisted that any lasting settlement to the Ukraine conflict must address its fundamental security demands.

Dmitriev told Axios he was cautiously optimistic about the new US proposal, saying “we feel the Russian position is really being heard.”

Israel’s ongoing presence inside Syria is of “immense importance,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told troops during a Wednesday visit to an outpost in the IDF-held buffer zone there.

The visit, which included several top security and diplomatic officials, came as talks between Jerusalem and Damascus over a security agreement for southern Syria have stalled, with a senior Israeli official telling The Times of Israel on Wednesday that such a deal is “not in the cards right now.”

New details are surfacing about Larry Summers' relationship with the late Jeffrey Epstein, including a favor Summers requested in support of his wife’s work.

The former Treasury secretary and Harvard president met his wife, Harvard professor Elisa New, through a colleague at the university. During a February 2021 conversation with the Harvard Independent, New shared that she and Summers are very different, saying, "Larry is an extrovert and I’m an introvert; he likes sports and competition and I do not."

"We are in many ways a dramatic illustration of how opposites attract," she said, before going on to explain how they found common ground. "Larry and I are both really passionate about the work we do. We both work long hours and have big goals and we support each other in those."

More recently, the pair made headlines when Summers announced on Nov. 17 that he would be stepping back from his public commitments following the release of emails between him and Epstein, which revealed that the former university president had sought romantic advice from the convicted sex offender over the years, per The New York Times. According to the Mossad, coordinated raids in Austria and Germany resulted in arrests and the seizure of weapons and explosives intended for use “on command.”

The Mossad on Wednesday exposed a network of Hamas terror infrastructure in multiple European countries and revealed a prolonged investigation it had conducted with European intelligence and law enforcement to thwart planned attacks against Israeli and Jewish targets.

Although the announcement was made on Wednesday, the Mossad said that it helped European authorities identify Mahmoud Naim, the son of a top Hamas official and senior adviser to Hamas leader Khalil al-Haya, Bassem Naim, as managing the plot in September.

A message from the Mossad said that Mahmoud had met with his father in Qatar to facilitate the plot and that this showed that Hamas was sponsoring the terror plots at its highest levels. Hamas officials in Turkey have also been involved.

Mossad disrupted 'dozens' of Hamas terror ops.

Since October 7, the terror organization has accelerated efforts to build cells and logistics in Europe, mirroring the activity of Iran and its proxies. The Mossad said it continues to disrupt “dozens” of various plots worldwide as part of Israel’s overseas counterterrorism mandate.

It credited “close, persistent cooperation” with European services for recent breakthroughs and said efforts are ongoing.

“The Mossad, together with its partners in Israel and worldwide, is working relentlessly to thwart attacks against Israeli, Jewish, and other innocent civilians across the globe,” the statement said.

Recent arrests of Hamas members across Europe

Austrian state security (DSN) in Vienna uncovered and confiscated a weapons stash in September that included handguns and explosive materials, leading to the detention and questioning of suspects tied to a Hamas cell. Local reporting later detailed the discovery of a Hamas-linked cache in the city and a related arrest in London.

European partners have expanded cooperation with Israel’s services while also tightening legal measures against Hamas-linked incitement and financing networks, the Mossad stated. In Germany, recent prosecutions and raids have targeted alleged Hamas operatives and supporters, reflecting a broader shift to curtail extremist infrastructure across the continent.

Meanwhile, German authorities, in separate operations, arrested multiple suspects this fall on suspicion of acting for the terror organization and supplying weapons, with police reporting finds that included assault rifles, pistols, and ammunition. Additional arrests followed this month, as investigators said a Hamas-linked operative helped procure arms for planned attacks in Europe.

The Association of Rape Crisis Centers in Israel (ARCCI) received over 51,000 queries in 2024, according to its annual report released Wednesday, yet, it was unable to provide a full accounting of how the state handles sexual offense cases due to several government ministries’ refusal to share data they are legally obligated to provide, a situation that directly impacts the public and the fight against sexual violence.

The date of this report’s publication is significant, as it precedes the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women on November 25. This global observance, established by the United Nations in 1999, is a crucial moment for governments and civil society groups to release data, run campaigns, and push for legislative reforms in the fight against gender-based violence.

The ARCCI serves as the national umbrella organization for rape crisis centers across Israel and compiles an extensive annual dataset that typically draws on information from law enforcement agencies, courts, ministries, and the IDF.

This year, however, the Israel Police, the State Attorney’s Office, the Israel Prison Service, the Education Ministry, the Welfare and Social Affairs Ministry, and the IDF all withheld key information, the report noted.

The organization said the decision violates statutory obligations and breaks sharply with previous years, when these bodies consistently provided detailed figures on investigations, indictments, sentencing, and institutional responses.

Russia destroys Ukrainian US-made missile launchers – MOD

Russian forces destroyed two Ukrainian US-made missile launchers shortly after they fired a salvo of long-range ATACMS at the city of Voronezh, the Defense Ministry in Moscow has said.

Officials added that all incoming missiles were intercepted. The debris caused some damage on the ground.

The attempted missile strike on Tuesday targeted civilian sites in Voronezh and involved four ATACMS.

According to the ministry, all four were downed by Russian combat crews using the S-400 air-defense system and the Pantsir anti-aircraft missile-gun system.

Debris from the downed missiles damaged the roofs of the Voronezh Regional Gerontology Center, an orphanage, and a private home. No civilian casualties were reported.

Aerial reconnaissance by the Russian Army located the ATACMS launch site in Ukraine’s Kharkov Region shortly after the attack. Two MLRS launchers were found near the village of Voloskaya Balakleya.

An Iskander-M missile crew struck the position, destroying both launchers, their ammunition, and up to ten personnel, the ministry said. It released photographs of the missile debris.

Kiev routinely launches drone raids and missile strikes into Russian territory, targeting critical infrastructure and residential areas in attacks that have caused civilian casualties.

Russian officials have accused Ukraine of “terrorism” over the strikes, and Moscow has conducted retaliatory attacks on Ukrainian military sites, including drone assembly facilities.

The "common theme" throughout the talks was "the importance of repudiating Tucker Carlson, Nick Fuentes and Candace Owens … especially by those in the conservative movement," attendee Tali Goldsheft said on X.

"Bari made a point of stating that JD Vance has yet to distance himself from Tucker Carlson, which remains quite disconcerting, to say the least," she added.

Elise Stefanik also spoke about "combating anti-Semitism" at the event and attacked Gov. Hochul as well as Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani.

The event was titled, "Can the Jews Save the West?"

Palantir's Joe Lonsdale and his wife were also given awards.

Israel First GOP megadonor Paul Singer is listed as a top donor.

Other speakers listed for the event include Elliott Abrams, Ruth Wisse and Trump's US Ambassador to the UN, Mike Waltz.

The Trump admin in Sept rewarded Tikvah with the largest grant in NEH history—$10.4 million—to counter "the pathology of anti-Semitism" and teach the Talmud.

Remarkably, the videos of the Jewish Leadership Conference have still not been released to the American public.

Ukrainian attack results in major blackout in Russian region – authorities

Ukrainian forces have struck two thermal power plants in Russia’s Donetsk People’s Republic in an “unprecedented attack,” leaving nearly two-thirds of residents without electricity and heating, regional head Denis Pushilin said on Tuesday. A state of emergency has been declared in the region.

“At the moment, electricity is cut off for 65% of consumers,” Pushilin said on Telegram after holding an emergency meeting with members of the regional cabinet and relevant agencies. “Boiler facilities and water filtration plants have stopped [operating] as well,” he added.

Schools and kindergartens across the region were closed because of the blackout and the lack of heating, Pushilin said, adding that emergency services had been deployed to restore power as soon as possible.

He did not provide any details about the attack itself but said that both power stations suffered certain damage as a result.

Kiev’s forces have increased attacks against Russian civilian infrastructure as they gradually lose ground on the front lines.

Kiev has routinely launched drone attacks deep into Russia in recent months, targeting residential areas and leading to civilian casualties.

Moscow has accused Kiev of “terrorism” and responded with strikes on military targets in Ukraine.

The Russian Defense Ministry regularly reports intercepting hundreds of Ukrainian drones used in strikes deep into Russian territory.

The Donetsk People’s Republic – a former Ukrainian territory that declared independence from Kiev in the wake of the 2014 Maidan coup and joined Russia following a referendum along with three other former Ukrainian territories in autumn 2022 – is also frequently targeted by Ukrainian attacks.

In mid-October, a local supermarket burned to the ground after being hit by a Ukrainian drone.

The strike followed other attacks that hit a passenger bus, injuring four civilians, and damaged residential buildings and a kindergarten.

Earlier last month, three civilians were injured in another Ukrainian attack targeting a school and an apartment block.

Russian drone enters Romanian airspace, NATO scrambles F-16 and Eurofighter

During the overnight combined attack by Russian forces on Ukraine, one drone flew 8 km into Romanian territory, prompting the launch of F-16 and Eurofighter jets, Romania's Ministry of National Defense reported.

It is noted that two German Eurofighter Typhoon jets from the Mihail Kogălniceanu air base took off during the night of November 18–19 at 00:25 to monitor the air situation on the border with Ukraine following Russian attacks in the area of Romania.

"At 00:20, a Ro-Alert notification was sent out, and within a few minutes a drone signal was detected, which penetrated approximately 8 km into the national airspace (of Romania – ed.) from the area of Vylkove in the direction of Kiliia, where it disappeared from the radars," the Romanian Ministry of National Defense said.

It is also known that the drone was detected on radar for about 12 minutes. The Eurofighter jets landed at 01:50, and the Romanian Air Force F-16 jets returned to the base in Câmpia Turzii around 02:30.

Specialist teams are ready to begin field searches for the drone.

Earlier, Poland launched aircraft into the air in connection with Russian attacks on the western regions of Ukraine.

During the combined missile attack on Ukraine on the night of November 19, Russian forces attacked Ternopil. Several multi-story buildings were damaged and partially destroyed there, and rescue operations are ongoing.

Russian forces also attacked energy infrastructure in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, with injuries reported as a result of the strikes. Damage to an energy facility and a fire were also recorded in the Lviv region, where explosions were heard during the night.

In Kharkiv, after the overnight Russian attack on November 19, 46 people had already been injured by the morning. Sixteen multi-story buildings, a school, an ambulance station, and other facilities were damaged, and a supermarket was destroyed.

A Democrat got away with colluding with one of the most notorious p*dophiles in American history thanks to some good-old-fashioned backroom politics.

As The Gateway Pundit reported, the House of Representatives on Tuesday evening voted against censuring Rep. Stacey Plaskett (D-V.I.) over her collusion with Jeffrey Epstein during a 2019 congressional hearing.

Earlier Tuesday, the House voted to advance the measure to censure Plaskett and remove her from the House Intelligence Committee. Then, later that evening, the House voted 214 -209 against censuring Plaskett.

Every Democrat voted against the censure, while three Republicans voted present, and three other GOP lawmakers joined the Democrats.

Following the vote, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL) exposed the nasty backroom deal cut by House leadership on both sides to ensure the vote would fail.

It turns out GOP leadership was desperate to avoid having Rep. Cory Mills (R-FL) face not only a censure vote of his own but also an ethics investigation.

Mills is facing a restraining order for allegedly threatening to circulate explicit videos of his former girlfriend, Lindsey Langston.

Langston claimed in a petition filed in August that NBC News obtained that after they broke up, Mills said he would blackmail her by using nude images and videos. He also allegedly said he would physically harm anyone she dated.

“Cory continued to message me on Instagram accounts I run after blocking him and asking him to not contact me. The messages progressively got more threatening over time,” wrote Langston, a Republican state committeewoman and Miss United States 2024.

A judge granted her request last month.

“The Plaskett censure failed because house leadership exchanged that censure failure for the withdrawal of a vote to censure and refer Cory Mills to house ethics for investigation,” Luna wrote on X.

“The swamp protects itself.”

She also spoke implicitly about the dirty deal while speaking on the House floor following the vote.

“I was wondering if the Speaker of the House of Representatives can explain why leadership on both sides, Democrat and Republican, are cutting backroom deals to cover up public corruption for Republican and Democratic members of Congress,” she said.

“I think we all know what happened tonight.”

No wonder the average American does not trust the federal government.

Jared Kushner's company invited Jeffrey Epstein to star-studded NYC party with Trump and Harvey Weinstein

Jared Kushner's company invited convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein to a party in 2013 that included a guest list of his father-in-law Donald Trump and producer Harvey Weinstein, who was not a convicted rapist at the time.

A trove of documents released by the House Oversight Committee last week includes a screenshot of an email invite to Epstein, who had already served a 13-month prison sentence for child sex crimes at the time of the event.

The revelation comes as journalists review the thousands of pages of documents and as Congress prepares to vote on releasing all Epstein files, with the unlikely backing of President Trump.

A person close with Kushner tells the Daily Mail that the president's son-in-law has never met Epstein and that he did not attend the party.

Trump, who was once friends with Epstein, maintains he was banned from Mar-a-Lago in October 2007 because he was 'creepy.' And on Friday he told press on board Air Force One that 'Jeffrey Epstein and I had a very bad relationship for many years.'

Kushner was owner of the New York Observer when Epstein received an email invite to the newspaper's 25th anniversary celebration on March 14, 2013.

'Mayor Michael Bloomberg will be by his side to toast you all,' read the email forwarded to Epstein by who appears to be his assistant Lesley Groff in the form of a press release signed by 'Peggy.'

His wife Ivanka and her father Donald Trump were included on the guest list, as were then-Newark Mayor Cory Booker, who was running for U.S. Senate at the time; actresses Blake Lively and Katie Holmes; fashion designer Carolina Herrera; and Weinstein's then-fashion designer wife Georgina Chapman.

Epstein was convicted in 2008 in Florida on state charges of procuring a minor for prostitution and soliciting prostitution, serving 13 months in a work-release program as part of a controversial plea deal.

Kushner's invite list included multiple already and soon-to-be convicted sex offenders.

Rape allegations against Weinstein would emerge in 2017 and he is currently serving a 16-year prison sentence for rape.

News personality Matt Lauer fell to the #MeToo movement the same year when NBC News terminated his contract due to multiple claims of sexual misconduct and harassment by former and current colleagues.

And former New York Observer editor-in-chief Ken Kurson was on the guest list. In 2021 he was pardoned by Trump after being charged with cyberstalking.

The March 2013 email said the party would honor New York City's 'best' and 'brightest.'

In August, when businessman Mikhael Mirilashvili filed a defamation suit against anti-government protest leaders, he hoped to dispel the image of himself as an oligarch wreaking chaos in Israel on behalf of Moscow. The response filed with a court last week for one of the defendants, advertising executive Ilan Shiloah, shows that the claims haven't been silenced – maybe the opposite.

In his court filing, Shiloah claims that a logistics company that Mirilashvili allegedly controls provided services to Russia's state-owned nuclear energy company, which has taken part in projects in Iran since the '90s.

The defense appended documents to help prove its point, but Mirilashvili – the father of Yitzchak Mirilashvili, who holds a controlling stake in the pro-Netanyahu Channel 14 – said he has no ties with the Russian company.

One affair ended with the kidnapping, murder and dismemberment of two members of a gang that had kidnapped Mirilashvili's father for ransom and later released him. The defendants claimed that Mirilashvili was convicted of murder, while actually he was only convicted of plotting the kidnapping.

Shiloah is one of six defendants who have made claims about Mirilashvili in what the 600,000-shekel ($186,000) lawsuit describes as an "orchestrated campaign" to tarnish him as part of a fight against Channel 14, whose editorial line is largely faithful to the messaging of the Netanyahu government.

Parts of the lawsuit against other defendants look like an easy win for Mirilashvili; for example, a mistake about a conviction in the early 2000s that got Mirilashvili eight years in a Russian prison.

The Clintons have pushed back their deposition dates for the House Oversight Committee’s investigation into notorious pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Epstein, who died in a Manhattan jail cell in 2019 while awaiting trial on child sex trafficking charges, visited the White House at least 17 times — beginning shortly after Bill Clinton was sworn into office in 1993.

The former president acknowledged in his 2024 book “Citizen: My Life After the White House” that he flew aboard Epstein’s private plane — nicknamed the Lolita Express — in connection to his work with his Clinton Global Initiative nonprofit, but denied visiting Epstein’s island.

“I wish I had never met him,” Clinton wrote of Epstein, adding that traveling on his plane was “not worth the years of questioning afterward.”
