Candace Owens alleges thatBill Ackman pressured Charlie Kirk to visit Israel during a tense lunch in the Hamptons, which also included Seth Dillon. Owens claims threats were made, Kirk was reconsidering his stance on Israel, and was offered a large sum of money before his death on September 10.

Conservative influencer and podcaster Candace Owens has alleged that billionaire hedge fund manager Bill Ackman pressured Charlie Kirk to visit Israel just weeks before Kirk’s tragic death on September 10. Owens revealed that Ackman, Kirk, and Seth Dillon, the CEO of Babylon Bee, shared an intense lunch meeting in the Hamptons.

Owens claims that during this meeting, “threats were made” as part of a high-pressure “intervention” involving Ackman. She further suggested that Kirk was experiencing a change of heart regarding Israel and had even been contacted by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

“I know that Charlie was offered a significant amount of money during that time… a ton of money,” Owens stated.

She also mentioned reaching out to Dillon for comment on the story, but he did not respond.

Following Kirk’s shooting at Utah Valley University, Ackman expressed his condolences on X, writing, “I feel incredibly privileged to have spent a day and shared a meal with @charliekirk11 this summer. He was a giant of a man.” It remains unclear whether Ackman’s post refers to the same lunch Owens described.

Israeli PM Netanyahu also mourned Kirk's passing. Just minutes after the news of his passing broke, Bibi tweeted, "A lion-hearted friend of Israel, he fought the lies and stood tall for Judeo-Christian civilization. I spoke to him only two weeks ago and invited him to Israel. Sadly, that visit will not take place."

Numerous Israeli politicians and leaders also praised Kirk as a "hero" and "incredible friend" of Israel.

Ackman Responds to Owens' Allegations

Bill Ackman denied Candace Owens' accusations, calling them slanderous and "deeply saddening."

“I have never threatened Charlie Kirk, Turning Point, or anyone associated with him,” Ackman wrote on X. “I have never blackmailed anyone, let alone Charlie, nor offered money to influence his opinion on anything.”

Ackman confirmed that he hosted Kirk and roughly 35 young conservative influencers in Bridgehampton in early August for discussions on major cultural and political topics, including Israel. While he said some attendees were critical of US support for Israel, the event was not confrontational.

“This was not an intervention,” Ackman emphasized. “It gave me considerable perspective on what is on the mind of young Americans.”

He added: “The next thing I knew, he was gone.”

US Drone Flights Over Afghanistan Continue Unabated, Says Taliban

Taliban spokesperson Zabihullah Mujahid said US drones continue to fly over Afghanistan, claiming the aircraft have been operating in the country’s airspace since the Taliban returned to power in 2021.

He said the drones transit through neighbouring states and violate Afghanistan’s sovereignty.

In an interview with Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB, Mujahid repeated the Taliban’s call for the flights to end, saying they must be stopped “as soon as possible” and describing them as a breach of Afghanistan’s airspace.

He said Taliban authorities had raised their objections in the limited meetings available to them.

Mujahid did not specify which neighbouring country’s airspace the drones reportedly cross before entering Afghanistan, though he has previously accused Pakistan of providing access to US aircraft.

Mujahid said the Taliban had implemented 70 percent of their programmes during their four years in power.

He cited sanctions on Taliban leaders, travel restrictions and the absence of international recognition as the administration’s main challenges.

Addressing criticism over the Taliban’s treatment of the Persian language, he said the group did not hold “a prejudiced view” toward languages in Afghanistan and regarded both Persian and Pashto as part of Afghan culture.

His comments came despite multiple controversies, including the recent removal of Uzbek and Persian-language terms from university signboards in northern provinces.

Mujahid also said the Taliban were satisfied with Iran’s policy toward their administration, describing relations over the past four years as “good and brotherly.”

On Iran’s water rights under the Helmand River treaty, he said the Taliban had “no issues” with the agreement and that Iran would receive its share if water levels permitted.

He said Iranian delegations had visited Afghanistan and received explanations from Afghan officials.

Mujahid said the Taliban were pursuing a “balanced, economy-focused” foreign policy and sought relations with all countries, including the United States, provided Afghanistan’s sovereignty was respected.

Asked whether US forces could return to Afghanistan, he said the Taliban would “never” allow “even an inch” of Afghan territory to fall under foreign control and insisted no foreign troops would be permitted on Afghan soil.

He also denied reports of a Chinese presence at Bagram air base, saying neither US nor Chinese forces had returned and that the Taliban would not allow any country to establish a military base in Afghanistan.

France on Alert After Drone Breaches Airspace Above Eurenco Ammunition Factory Twice in a Week

France has opened an investigation after a military-grade gunpowder plant in Bergerac, operated by Eurenco, was overflown twice this week by an unidentified drone, officials confirmed to BFM TV on November 13.

The first illegal overflights occurred on November 10 evening. A second incident followed on November 12, prompting Eurenco to file a criminal complaint, with another expected on November 14.

The Bergerac prosecutor, Anne-Cécile Dumonteil, said the case concerns the “deliberate overflight of a prohibited zone” and has been assigned to the local police.

Despite a rapid response from national police, the drone operator has not been located, according to BFM TV.

General Marc Le Bouil, head of France’s air defense and air operations, told lawmakers on November 12 that the drone was likely a standard commercial model such as a DJI.

He said surveillance and identification efforts continue, noting that investigations of this kind require discretion to avoid revealing counter-drone methods.

Eurenco, Europe’s leading producer of powders and explosives, operates major facilities in France, Sweden, and Belgium.

Its Bergerac plant, capable of producing up to 1,200 tons of gunpowder annually for the French military, reopened this year as part of Europe’s push to rebuild its munitions industry, BFM TV wrote.

Previously, Czech President Petr Pavel has warned that repeated violations of NATO airspace by Russia should no longer be tolerated, emphasizing that a strong response is needed to deter further provocations, České noviny reported.

Speaking to high school students in Karlovy Vary, Pavel, a former head of NATO's Military Committee, explained that Russia only respects strength and views restraint as weakness.

The "Drone Espionage Act," which seeks to outlaw the unauthorized video surveillance of U.S. military installations, is proposed to be a significant addition to the Fiscal Year 2026 National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA).

In the past, drones have increasingly been utilized by hostile entities, particularly those representing the interests of China, to quietly amass footage of America's sensitive defense sites.

As the law stands, capturing still photographs of such sites falls under the prohibitive mantle of the Espionage Act of 1917, but our modern era, replete with rapidly advancing technology, has outpaced the language and scope of this century-old statute, thereby leaving a gaping vulnerability for adversaries to exploit with ever-evolving video technology, the very fact that Moody and Kiggins aim to rectify.

In a letter addressed to the leadership of the Senate and House Armed Services Committees, as documented by Senator Moody's office, both legislators underscore the urgency of this amendment citing various incidents, including one in the Middle District of Florida where prosecutors were hamstrung by the current legislation, unableto charge a suspect with more than the possession of still images despite an abundance of video evidence.

The proposed Drone Espionage Act intends to specifically amend Section 793 of title 18, United States Code, to include "video" as a prohibited form of information-gathering on sensitive national defense sites.

This amendment would bolster the integrity of U.S. national security measures by criminalizing the act of unauthorized videography at such locations, holding potential threats accountable under federal law.

In their communique, Moody and Kiggins convey, per Senator Moody's office, "The only way to uphold the integrity of our national defense sites is to ensure our laws are updated to meet the technological advancements of the times."

In addition to the Florida incident, numerous other cases punctuate the narrative of this legislative pursuit.

These events serve as stark reminders of the omnipresent threat, with documentation of espionage attempts across the United States, including Virginia's naval shipyards and varied Space Force bases in California and Florida.

California revokes 17,000 commercial driver's licenses for immigrants

The announcement follows harsh criticism from the Trump administration about California and other states granting licenses to people in the country illegally.

California plans to revoke 17,000 commercial driver's licenses given to immigrants after discovering the expiration dates went past when the drivers were legally allowed to be in the U.S., state officials said Wednesday. The announcement follows harsh criticism from the Trump administration about California and other states granting licenses to people in the country illegally. The issue was thrust into the public's consciousness in August, when a tractor-trailer driver not authorized to be in the U.S. made an illegal U-turn and caused a crash in Florida that killed three people.

Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy said Wednesday thatCalifornia's action to revoke these licenses is an admission that the state acted improperly even though it previously defended its licensing standards. California launched its review of commercial driver's licenses it issued after Duffy raised concerns.

"After weeks of claiming they did nothing wrong, Gavin Newsom and California have been caught red-handed. Now that we've exposed their lies, 17,000 illegally issued trucking licenses are being revoked," Duffy said, referring to the state's governor. "This is just the tip of iceberg. My team will continue to force California to prove they have removed every illegal immigrant from behind the wheel of semitrucks and school buses."

Newsom's office said that every one of the drivers whose license is being revoked had valid work authorizations from the federal government. At first, his office declined to disclose the exact reason for revoking the licenses, saying only they violated state law. Later, his office revealed the state law it was referring to was one that requires the licenses expire on or before a person's legal status to be in the United State ends, as reported to the DMV.

Still, Newsom's spokesperson Brandon Richards shot back at Duffy in a statement.

"Once again, the Sean 'Road Rules' Duffy fails to share the truth — spreading easily disproven falsehoods in a sad and desperate attempt to please his dear leader," Richards said. Fatal truck crashes in Texas and Alabama earlier this year also highlight questions about these licenses. A fiery California crash that killed three people last month involved a truck driver in the country illegally, only adding to the concerns.

Duffy previously imposed new restrictions on which immigrants can qualify for commercial driver's licenses. He said earlier this fall that California and five other states had improperly issued commercial driver's licenses to noncitizens, but California is the only state Duffy has taken action against because it was the first one where an audit was completed. The reviews in the other states have been delayed by the government shutdown, but the Transportation Department is urging all of them to tighten their standards.

Duffy revoked $40 million in federal funding because he said California isn't enforcing English language requirements for truckers, and he reiterated Wednesday that he will take another $160 million from the state over these improperly issued licensesif they don't invalidate every illegal license and address all the concerns. But revoking these licenses is part of the state's effort to comply.

The new rules for commercial driver's licenses that Duffy announced in September make getting them extremely hard for immigrants becauseonly three specific classes of visa holders will be eligible. States will also have to verify an applicant's immigration status in a federal database. The licenses will be valid for up to one year unless the applicant's visa expires sooner.

Under the new rules, only 10,000 of the 200,000 noncitizens who have commercial licenses would qualify for them, which would only be available to drivers who have an H-2a, H-2b or E-2 visa. H-2a is for temporary agricultural workers while H-2b is for temporary nonagricultural workers, and E-2 is for people who make substantial investments in a U.S. business. But the rules won't be enforced retroactively, so those 190,000 drivers will be allowed to keep their commercial licenses at least until they come up for renewal.

Duffy said in September that investigators found that one quarter of the 145 licenses they reviewed in California shouldn't have been issued. He cited four California licenses that remained valid after the driver's work permit expired — sometimes years after. Disneyland officials have since confirmed what the black ring was.

What’s been released is only a small fraction of what the US Department of Justice has collected as part of its investigation into Epstein’s sex trafficking operation. The full “Epstein Files” have been kept from the public due to exhaustive efforts from the Trump administration to avoid transparency, as part of an apparent cover-up to protect wealthy individuals who could be implicated, including the president himself.

A bipartisan effort in the House to release of the Epstein Files made headway this week, after Rep. Adelita Grijalva (D-Ariz.) was sworn into office. Grijalva provided the final signature needed on a discharge petition to force a vote on a resolution to release the files, which had been blocked until now by Trump sycophant and Speaker of the House Mike Johnson. With the petition filed, the vote is expected to take place as early as December 1.

UFO whistleblower claims deserve serious investigation: Rubio

Secretary of State Marco Rubio is one of many high-profile individuals who have raised questions about alleged secret UAP programs run by the Pentagon.

The subject of unidentified anomalous phenomena, or what most people call UFOs, has been of increasing interest following whistleblower testimony from David Grusch, who alleged the Pentagon has been operating a top-secret UFO program.

Rubio is one of many high-profile subjects who are appearing in the upcoming documentary “Age of Disclosure,” which addresses the subject and alleged government UFO cover-ups.

Speaking with NewsNation’s Joe Khalil, Rubio said he believes the topic deserves more serious inquiry than it has received in the past.

“There’s a stigma associated with it. Nobody wants to be known as the ‘UFO guy,'” he said.

Rubio said the topic has become one of major concern for him.

“Things are flying over sensitive restricted airspace in the U.S., and they claim it’s not ours. That alone is reason to look into this stuff,” he said.

“My biggest fear in all this, frankly, is that some adversary has made a technological leap. That would be really bad news, and we would be caught flat-footed on it.”

He also noted that Grusch is just one of a number of whistleblowers who have come forward with allegations about UAP programs.

“One of two things here are true. Either what he is saying is true or partially true, or we have some really smart, educated people with high clearances and very important positions in our government who are crazy and leading us on a goose chase,” Rubio said. “Either one is a problem.”

Rubio told NewsNation that it is difficult to assess credibility when it comes to a topic that has been treated less than seriously but noted that many of those who have come forward have done so while also being afraid of the consequences.

“I find most of these people, at some point or even currently, have held very high clearances or very high positions in our government,” Rubio said.

“What incentive would people with those qualifications have, these are very serious people, to come forward and make something up?”

At the end of the day, Rubio said whistleblowers deserve to be heard and their allegations need to be seriously examined.

“No one’s ever asked these questions before. This has been the realm of science fiction,” he said.

Megyn Kelly has waded into the discourse around convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein with a creative new take.

On Wednesday's episode of The Megyn Kelly Show, the conservative political commentator referenced "somebody very, very close to this case" who knows "virtually everything" about the late financier's troubling private dealings that helped her form her own views on the matter. "Jeffrey Epstein, in this person's view, was not a pedophile," Kelly said. "This is this person's view, who was there for a lot of this, but that he was into the barely legal type. Like, he liked 15-year-old girls."

Kelly reflected, "I realize this is disgusting."

Epstein was convicted of soliciting a minor for prostitution in Florida in 2008, and charged with sex trafficking minors and conspiracy to sex traffic minors in New York in 2019, but died by apparent suicide in his jail cell before the commencement of trial. Since his death, troves of communications between Epstein and his famous associates — including England's Prince Andrew, former President Bill Clinton, and current President Donald Trump — have sketched a troubling picture of Epstein at the head of what appears to be an international operation facilitating the perpetration of child sexual abuse.

"Pedophile," the term Kelly is weighing, is not a legal term but rather a diagnostic one, however. The Diagnostic Statistical Manual for Mental Disorders defines three criteria for pedophilia: recurrent sexual fantasies about minors; acting on or incurring distress in not acting on those fantasies; the individual who possesses those fantasies is at least 16, and is at least five years older than the child or children in question.

Despite the clear alignment between the crimes Epstein has been implicated in, charged with, and convicted on, and the clinical criteria for pedophilia, Kelly still isn't decided on Epstein. "He wasn't into, like, 8-year-olds, but he liked the very young teen types that could pass for even younger than they were," she said.

At the same time, according to Kelly, Epstein wanted these minors older than eight but younger than 15, but who look even younger, to also "look legal to a passerby."

She added, "I'm definitely not trying to make an excuse for this. I'm just giving you facts."

Kelly noted that her verdict on Epstein was momentarily changed when Trump's attorney general, Pam Bondi, claimed her Justice Department "had tens of thousands of videos of alleged… child sexual abuse material, on his computer." Kelly said she remembered thinking, "'Oh no, he was an actual pedophile," but stated now that she doesn't "know whether it's true" because she doesn't "trust Pam Bondi's word on the Epstein matter anymore."

Further, Kelly claimed that "we have yet to see anybody come forward and say, 'I was eight, I was under 10, I was under 14 when I first came within his purview.'" For the former Fox News host, "there's a difference between a 15-year-old and a five-year-old," but in either case, "the whole thing is just disgusting."

A representative for Kelly did not immediately respond to Entertainment Weekly's request for comment.

President Trump has been dining with Wall Street bigwigs. He has embarked on an opulent revamp of the White House at a time when Americans are struggling to pay their bills. He has expressed support for granting visas to skilled foreigners to take jobs in the United States. He approved a $20 billion bailout for Argentina, helping a foreign government and wealthy investors at a moment when the U.S. government was shut down.

For a president who returned to office promising to avoid foreign entanglements, make life more affordable and ensure that available jobs go to American citizens, it has been a significant departure from the expectations of his loyal base. And it is starting to open a rift with his supporters who were counting on a more aggressively populist agenda.

The divisions within Mr. Trump’s movement, spawned by his own actions, have been only amplified by the latest developments on a story that he has been doing his best to quash: his relationship with the convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

Much of the president’s MAGA movement, andmany of his top aides, pushed for years for all the investigative files on the Epstein case to be made public, insisting that a rich and well-connected man — and his network of wealthy and powerful friends — needed to be held accountable for any abuse of young women.

But Mr. Trump, who has emphatically denied any involvement in or knowledge of Mr. Epstein’s sex-trafficking operation, showed again this week that he was resisting further disclosures, leaving a small but vocal group of Republicans angry over his about-face, and risking a further rupture in the movement heading into next year’s midterm elections.

“When they’re protecting pedophiles, when they are blowing our budget, when they are starting their wars overseas, I’m sorry, I can’t go along with that,” RepresentativeThomas Massie, Republican of Kentucky, said on CNN this week. “And back home, people agree with me. They understand. Even the most ardent Trump supporters understand.”

Trump allies are aware that his more populist message has become muddled in recent months, as the president has spent time courting wealthy donors and making no secret of his desire to win a Nobel Peace Prize for his work on foreign conflicts.

Mr. Trump told aides recently that he might attend the annual World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, a gathering of the political and business elite, according to two people familiar with the matter. Some of his advisers, however, feel such a trip would send the wrong message at a moment when they are trying to recapture a political edge on the economy.

And as some Republicans called on Mr. Trump to become more involved in negotiations to end the longest government shutdown in American history, he largely kept the issue at a distance. During that time, he hosted dinners for wealthy donors of his ballroom project, provided social media updates about his White House bathroom renovation and held a lavish “Great Gatsby” Halloween party with the theme “a little party never killed nobody.”

In recent days, particularly as the shutdown has come to an end, his administration has shifted to talking more about affordability. That was the main message coming out of the White House on Wednesday, when Congressional lawmakers released the latest trove of Epstein emails.

“As the architect of the MAGA movement, President Trump will always put America First,” Abigail Jackson, a White House spokeswoman, said in a statement. “Every single day he’s working hard to continue fulfilling the many promises he made and he will continue delivering.”
