Jeffrey Epstein’s convicted child trafficking accomplice Ghislaine Maxwell has requested that the United States Supreme Court hear her appeal.

Maxwell’s high-priced lawyers filed a 159-page petition to the high court on Thursday.

Her legal team is asking the Supreme Court Justices to throw out her 20-year sentence for child sex trafficking.

63-year-old Maxwell is currently serving a 20-year sentence in Tallahassee State Prison in Florida.

In December 2021, Maxwell was convicted on five counts of aiding convicted of her role in pedophile Epstein‘s child sex trafficking operation.

Maxwell, a former close friend of Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton, continues to vehemently deny all the charges against her.

She is asking the Supreme Court to throw out the conviction, a move that would see her walk free.

Maxwell argues she should never have been charged as Epstein’s “co-conspirator” because of a 2007 plea deal Epstein made in Florida.

Under the deal, Epstein agreed to plead guilty to two counts of child sex abuse and serve 13 months in jail in exchange for any of his “co-conspirators” avoiding prosecution.

A federal appeals judge rejected her appeal last year, however.

The appeals court determined that the Southern District of New York – where Maxwell was tried – was not covered by the deal agreed upon in Florida.

Now, Maxwell’s lawyers are begging the Supreme Court to “decide once and for all” whether the non-prosecution deal made in Florida should have protected the disgraced socialite from justice.

In their lengthy petition to the Supreme Court, Maxwell’s lawyers said:

“Despite the existence of a non-prosecution agreement promising in plain language that the United States would not prosecute any co-conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein, the United States in fact prosecuted Ghislaine Maxwell as a co-conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein.”

The attorneys argue that legal jurisdictions have different rules when it comes to honoring a plea deal made in another state.

The petition was written by Maxwell’s high-powered lawyer, David Markus.

“A defendant should be able to rely on a promise that the United States will not prosecute again, without being subject to a gotcha in some other jurisdiction that chooses to interpret that plain language promise in some other way,” the petition added.

"For example, GFE refers to a girlfriend experience, and provides a more intimate experience and blurs the boundaries between a financial transaction and relationship," said Cambridge Police Lt. Jarred Cabral. "Typically including any and all sex acts."

The 12 men will be arraigned in May on the criminal charges. Twelve more alleged johns will be in court next Friday for more probable cause hearings.

The alleged johns were heckled by protesters as they left court. One woman felt compelled to show up because she lived doors down from the brothel.

WASHINGTON, April 7 (Reuters) - U.S. Navy Vice Admiral Shoshana Chatfield, who holds a senior position in NATO, has been fired as part of what appears to be an expanding national security purge of top officials by the Trump administration, three sources told Reuters on Monday.

The information was not immediately confirmed by the Pentagon. However, the sources told Reuters that allies had been notified that Chatfield had been removed from her job.

BUSTED🚨: Eight people, seven of whom are Florida residents, have been busted in an international child pornography ring.

Attorney General James Uthmeier announced the arrests on Monday morning and described the content as "truly heinous."

"If you are a child predator, I hope you never see the sun again, and I hope you certainly never have access to kids again," he continued.

Florida Department of Law Enforcement Commissioner Mark Glass said that their investigation began in July of 2024, with agents checking the internet for people who sell and distribute child pornography.

Glass said that in the investigation, an undercover agent found a website that had led them to uncover over one million videos depicting sexual abuse of minors, some as young as infants.

Rita Peters, who leads the prosecution efforts, said that the children depicted in the videos and photos are children whose names are in the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children and are victims of human trafficking.

Law enforcement began sending subpoenas to multiple companies to gather a paper trail, through this they were able to identify their main distributer as Mehmet Berk Bozuyuk, from Turkey.

Furthermore, they determined that the main site that Mehmet used was called "printedpicsDOTcom," which FDLE seized and shut down.

Peters said that after this website was shut down, they had global agencies, such as one from England, thanking them for shutting it down due to it being such a problem.

Scientists at Sandia National Laboratories in New Mexico are kickstarting development of the B61-13, a nuclear 'gravity bomb' that was originally slated to go into production for the US Air Force in 2026.

Gravity bombs are literally what they sound like, a bomb dropped from a military plane which lets gravity do all the work.

The timeline was moved up due to the 'critical challenge and urgent need' for a new nuclear deterrent - a threat that's hopefully big enough to discourage America's enemies from attacking first.

The B61-13 is 24 times more powerful than the atom bomb dropped on Hiroshima, Japan in 1945. That first atom bomb, called 'Little Boy,' had a yield of about 15 kilotons - the explosive equivalent of 15,000 tons of TNT.

The B61-13, on the other hand, is designed to have a yield of around 360 kilotons, or 360,000 tons of TNT.

FBI Director Kash Patel has been removed from his position as acting head of the ATF and replaced by Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll.

The timing of Patel’s removal, which occurred in February, was not revealed until later, and it is unknown why the change was made.

Despite this change, Patel remained listed as the acting director of the ATF until an April 7 press release, and ATF leaders were only informed on April 9.

Driscoll, who serves as Army Secretary, will now also lead the ATF.

U.S. defense officials have traditionally maintained a separation between the military and domestic law enforcement, with military personnel barred from direct law enforcement activities on U.S. soil. However, military resources do assist in various law enforcement efforts, such as intelligence sharing along the southern border, per the Associated Press.

Driscoll’s new role adds to his already demanding duties as head of the Army, where he oversees its 452,000 soldiers and manages a vast budget for weapons, aircraft, and other military equipment.

Despite his military background, Driscoll has limited experience in law enforcement, having previously served as an adviser to Vice President JD Vance and running unsuccessfully for a congressional seat in 2020, the Associated Press reported.

Patel’s unexpected appointment to lead both the FBI and the ATF in February was an unusual arrangement, given that these are two large, distinct agencies within the Department of Justice (DOJ).

While Patel continues to serve as FBI Director, he now no longer holds the acting director role at the ATF.

Despite this restructuring, a White House spokesperson emphasized that Patel’s removal was part of a standard, temporary arrangement while awaiting Senate confirmation. The spokesperson noted that Patel continues to perform well at the FBI. The Justice Department’s potential plan to merge the ATF and DEA aims to improve resource efficiency, case management, and regulatory functions, although no formal decision has been made yet.

“Director Kash Patel was briefly designated ATF Director while awaiting Senate confirmations — a standard, short-term move. Dozens of similar re-designations have occurred across the federal government,” White House spokesperson Harrison Fields said.

“Director Patel is now excelling in his role at the FBI and delivering outstanding results,” he added.

As the Associated Press pointed out, the ATF is tasked with investigating issues surrounding violent crime, gun trafficking, bombings and arson.

 “It also provides technical expertise in tracing guns used in crimes and analyzing intelligence in shooting investigations,” the outlet wrote.

Reuters was the first outlet to report the shocking leadership shake-up at the ATF.

Bill Maher and Piers Morgan went toe-to-toe on tarrifs Friday night—that is, until the Real Time host abruptly cut off his colleague mid-sentence.

The panel, composed of Maher, Morgan, and Washington Post columnist Josh Rogin, had been discussing Trump’s trade war and the potential for a protracted conflict with China when the HBO host tired of the topic.

“This is boring, like I said tariffs are,” he declared, talking over Morgan.“You guys are boring.”

Maher had already lamented the fact that Trump’s actions had forced him to devote so much time to tariffs, opining, “Did I ever think I was going to be talking about tariffs every day? I really didn’t, I did not see that coming up, and it’s f—ing boring. I don’t like tariffs.”

He went on to characterize Trump’s actions in recent weeks as an attempt to bring back an era in U.S. history that is “gone with the wind,” citing the president’s unlikely goal of bringing manufacturing jobs back to America.

He then opened up the discussion to the panelists as to whether Trump had a point about the global trade status quo putting the U.S. at a disadvantage.

Rogin and Morgan debated the efficacy of Trump’s dizzying approach to trade policy, with Morgan describing Trump as a man who “doesn’t play by the rules” and “trusts his gut, which is often right.”

Morgan, who is British, added that in a trade war between the U.S. and China, he would back the U.S.

After his interjection, Maher changed the subject to the Trump Administration’s draconian deportation regime—which has already swept up legal residents by mistake and included green card holders accused not of criminal conduct, but of holding the wrong ideas.
