The creepy ad sparked outrage online for normalizing child pornography.

On Tuesday, Balenciaga issued an apology for their creepy child BDSM-themed photoshoot for the Spring/Summer 2023 collection that featured sexualized stuffed toys and child porn documents.

Following the backlash, the company pulls controversial ads. The company replaced it with a red-hair model holding an “Hourglass Small Croc-Embossed Top-Handle Bag.”

In the background, Balenciaga had a copy of Michael Borremans’s book sitting on the desk next to the model.

Research conducted by Twitter user @itsnatlydenise about the book reveals some dark and disturbing facts.

Michaël Borremans (born 1963) is a Belgian painter and filmmaker who lives and works in Ghent.

Several prestigious American institutions, such as the Art Institute of Chicago, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, and The Museum of Modern Art in New York, feature his artwork.

The themes in Borremans’ paintings are very disturbing. They include pedophilia, blood rituals, dark religion, occultism, racism, and cannibalism.

It doesn’t stop there. According to @itsnatlydenise, the bottom book is “The Cremaster Cycle” by Matthew Barney.

Another ad featured what appears to be a “College Month Honorarium”(?) with John Phillip Fisher’s name on it.

Balenciaga has now deleted its Instagram posts, and the photos were removed from its website.

Yesterday, Tuesday 26 January, G20 Members agreed to establish a High Level Independent Panel (HLIP) on financing the global commons for pandemic preparedness and response. The decision was taken by the membership at the first G20 Finance and Central Bank Deputies meetings.

The Panel, proposed by the Italian G20 Presidency, will assess the current financing systems and propose viable solutions for the longer term.

The G20 High Level Independent Panel is tasked with:

Identifying the gaps in the financing system for the global commons for pandemic prevention, surveillance, preparedness and response;

And proposing actionable solutions to meet these gaps on a systematic and sustainable basis, and to optimally leverage resources from the public, private and philanthropic sectors and the International Financial Institutions.

The Panel, co-chaired by Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Singapore, Lawrence Summers, Former United States Treasury Secretary, and Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, Former Finance and Foreign Minister, Nigeria, will build on WHO’s assessment of gaps in pandemic preparedness and on ongoing international initiatives aimed at enhancing global preparedness and response.

In particular, the Panel will interact with main relevant Global Health actors, including the Independent Panel for Pandemic Preparedness and Response (IPPR) established by the WHO and in line with the goal of the International Health Regulations (IHR).

The Panel composition ensures broad regional and gender balance. Panel members are world experts, who collectively bring deep knowledge and experience in finance, governance and global health.

The HLIP will provide an interim report to the G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors at their meeting in April 2021, before presenting its recommendations during their July 2021 meeting.

ICANN's own documents describe the U.S. Government's role this way:

The U.S. Department of Commerce’s National Telecommunication and

Information Administration (NTIA) provides general stewardship of

ICANN’s performance of the root zone management function….

When a request is made to change any information contained within the root,

the details of the request are transmitted by ICANN to NTIA as a recommendation

for implementation in the root. NTIA verifies that ICANN followed established

procedure and policy in processing the change request; and then authorizes

Verisign and ICANN to implement the change in the authoritative root zone file and

root zone database, respectively.

Once the contract expires and NTIA hands authority to ICANN, this cannot be reversed by Congress or a new Administration. Once it is given away, it is gone, just like when you sell your car, you can't take it back. The U.S. loses control over IANA functions.

After the Jan. 12 2010 earthquake in Haiti, the NLCR, led by Silsby, gathered forty Haitian children – claiming they were orphans – and set off for the Dominican Republic. They were stopped by a policeman, who explained that their actions were illegal.

Undeterred the group set out to collect orphans from the devastated town of Calebasse and from the slum of Le Citron in Port-au-Prince. 33 children (20 from Calebasse and 13 from Le Citron) were put under the mission’s care. On the night of January 29, the missionaries were arrested while trying to cross the Dominican border without proper authorization.

They denied any wrongdoing and maintained that they were doing God’s will by helping orphaned victims of the quake. The children were sent to the SOS Children’s Village orphanage in Croix-des-Bouquets, a suburb of Port-au-Prince, and it became clear that most (if not all) of them were not orphans.

NLCR missionaries maintained that they were told that the children were orphaned. In turn, people in Calebasse and SOS Children’s Villages accused the missionaries of lying about their intentions.
