Lord Ahmed: Ex-Labour peer jailed for child sex offences

Disgraced former Labour peer Lord Ahmed of Rotherham has been jailed for five and a half years for sexually abusing two children in the 1970s.

He was found guilty in January of a serious sexual assault against a boy and the attempted rape of a young girl.

The abuse happened in Rotherham when he was a teenager, Sheffield Crown Court heard.

Passing sentence, Mr Justice Lavender said his actions had had "profound and lifelong effects" on the victims.

The court heard Lord Ahmed, who was tried under his birth name Nazir Ahmed, attempted to rape the girl twice in the early 1970s, when he was aged 16 or 17 but she was much younger.

The attack on the boy, who was aged under 11 at the time, also happened during the same period.

The 64-year-old had denied the charges, calling them a "malicious fiction", but a phone recording of a conversation between the two victims in 2016 showed they were not "made-up".

The judge said the offences were "so serious that only a custodial sentence can be justified".

He said: "Your actions have had profound and lifelong effects on the girl and the boy, who have lived with what you did to them for between 46 and 53 years.

"The statements which they have made express more eloquently than I ever could how your actions have affected and continue to affect their lives in so many different and damaging ways."

The victim of the attempted rapes, who cannot be named due to the nature of the offences, said she had lived with "an overwhelming feeling of shame".

She told the court: "It was a burden I was made to carry, and it silenced me for many years.

"It is now time for me to pass that burden to him - the paedophile who I know feels no personal shame."

The male victim, who also cannot be named, said in a personal statement read out in court: "I buried the abuse and carried it with me on my own for years and years.

"I feel shame because of what these men did to me."

In court number seven at Sheffield Crown Court today, both the judge and defendant could technically be addressed as "my Lord", "your Lordship" or any other variation of the title.

Lord Ahmed sat in the dock wearing a smart suit and tie, listening to barristers and a judge discuss his sentence.

One victim came to the witness box to describe the impact the peer of the realm had on her life.

"He is a paedophile who has no personal shame. But in the end, all tyrants fall," she said.

A statement from the second victim said: "This is not about revenge, this is about justice."

And part of that justice is wanting to see Lord Ahmed stripped of his title and known forthwith by his real name, Nazir Ahmed.

They don't want him to use his title to impress anyone again.

The judge told him his actions had a profound and lifelong effect on his victims. He stood to listen to the judge but showed no emotion.

Shortly afterwards, Ahmed picked up his rucksack, waved at his family and disappeared through a door to start his five-and-a-half year sentence.

Ahmed, who was convicted following a retrial, resigned from the House of Lords in November 2020 after a conduct committee report concluded he had sexually and emotionally exploited a vulnerable woman who sought his help.

The inquiry into his behaviour followed a BBC Newsnight investigation.

There have been calls for him to be stripped of his title. This would require an Act of Parliament but none currently exists.

Ahmed was charged along with his two older brothers, Mohammed Farouq, 71, and Mohammed Tariq, 65, but both were deemed unfit to stand trial.

Both had faced charges of indecent assault against the same boy abused by Ahmed.

Though the men did not face a criminal trial, jurors concluded that they did commit the alleged acts after hearing evidence in the case.

Both men were given absolute discharges after the judge said the only other two options - a hospital order or a supervision order - would not be appropriate in this case.

Sarah Champion, Labour MP for Rotherham, paid tribute to the "courage, bravery and determination of the victims".

She said: "The verdict in this case sends a clear message to offenders: no matter your power or your status, justice will be served, however long it is eluded.

"The fact Mr Ahmed is able to retain his peerage makes a mockery of our honours system. I urge the government to bring forward legislation to enable his title to be stripped from him."

We do not, however, yet have acceptance by the authorities anywhere that the gene-based “vaccines” are ineffective yet extraordinarily toxic. Both features are present, by design. Pharma May be corrupt, but they’re not fools & they know exactly what they’re doing. Despite the backdrop, this picture will be conceded, because there is a increasing number of people who’ve been killed or injured by the so-called vaccines.

These facts have been known by pharma, regulators & governments internationally from January 2021, if not sooner. Yet the policy of coerced mass vaccination continues in much of the world. Readers must surely ask themselves why these crimes against humanity were set up in the first place.

From as early as summer 2020, I did try to tell the public that PCR mass testing is being inappropriately used & the results wholly untrustworthy.

The inventor of the PCR method, Dr Kary Mullis, was awarded a Nobel prize for his invention because of its central importance in molecular biology.

However, Mullis repeatedly criticised the growing use of PCR to make clinical diagnoses. He pointed out that, such was its astonishing sensitivity, it is possible to get a positive result from a sample containing a single fragment of a virus, way below levels involved in a clinical infection or conferring infectiousness.

The lack of regulation & standardisation is just one aspect of what this truly is: a deliberate & protracted fraud on the people. NHS trust managers aren’t expected to understand that arcane aspects of a test like cycle threshold & presumably accepted the results in good faith. In contrast, anyone in the field of medical diagnostics within the NHS knows this is fraud. It’s not a matter of opinion.

Furthermore, most of the mass testing conducted on members of the public isn’t run within Trust hospitals pathology facilities but inside huge, purpose-built private labs, which have been called “Lighthouse Labs”. Whistleblower disclosures way back in 2020 told us without equivocation that mass testing there was (& presumably still is) leaving out crucial components, without which the results are wholly uninterpretable. Specifically, they were not using certain internal standards, necessary to confirm the samples in each batch test run was only turning positive when truly detecting target genetic sequences, contrasting with positive results when the virus target was absent, which are known as false positives.

Communist China Backs Argentina’s Claim to British Falklands, Bribes Buenos Aires with Belt and Road Cash

Communist China has agreed to back Argentina’s tenuous claim to the British Falkland Islands, in exchange for Buenos Aires backing Beijing’s even more tenuous claim of ownership of Taiwan and signing onto the Belt and Road Initiative.

Following a meeting in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing between left-wing President of Argentina Alberto Fernández and Chinese dictator Xi Jinping on Sunday, China announced that it will formally back the South American country’s claim to Britain’s Falkland Islands, while Fernández pledged his support for the so-called one-China policy of Beijing which lays claim to Taiwan.

The Chinese Communist Party has never ruled Taiwan — the island is ruled by the modern descendent of the Chinese Nationalist government which was once the main government of China before the Communist revolutionary war. While Argentina makes historical claims to the Falklands for periods of occupation amounting to around 31 months in the past 200 years, the territory has generally been under British control since the 1830s, and the Falkland Islanders themselves strongly identify as British.

“Argentina said it will continue to adhere to the one-China principle on the Taiwan question and China will continue to support Argentina’s demand for the full exercise of sovereignty over the Malvinas (Falkland) Islands,” China’s state-run Global Times reported.

Rejecting the notion of Argentina’s claim to the Falklands, Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said on Monday: “We completely reject any questions over sovereignty of the Falklands. The Falklands are part of the British family and we will defend their right to self-determination.”

“China must respect the Falklands’ sovereignty,” Truss added.

The conflict between Argentina and Britain over the islands boiled over into a hot war after Argentina illegally invaded the Falklands on the 2nd of April 1982. The Falklands War, which lasted 74 days, saw 255 British soldiers die before the PM Margaret Thatcher-directed military effort forced Argentina to surrender after losing 649 soldiers of their own.

The inhabitants of the British Overseas Territory, located about 300 miles (480 kilometres) east of Argentina in the South Atlantic, are mostly descendants of British settlers, who strongly favour being under the sovereignty of the United Kingdom, which colonised the islands in 1841.

This is twenty years before Argentina emerged as a cohesive country following a lengthy civil war after the war of independence fought against the Spanish Empire.

Taiwan was never under the control of the communist government in Beijing, having its own distinct government since Chang Kai Shek’s nationalists fled to the island after losing the civil war to Mao Zedong’s communists in 1949. Aside from the fact that the CCP has never ruled over Taiwan, the country also has its own distinct culture, currency, and military.

Coinciding with the announcement on the Falklands, Argentina officially signed onto Communist China’s Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the premiere strategy of increasing the global influence of Beijing. The initiative has been branded as “dept-trap diplomacy” because China offers predatory loans to fund massive infrastructure projects in often impoverished countries.

Those countries that fail to repay the loans often cede control of the assets to China as repayment. While China attempts to tout the initiative as an economic boon for those who sign up, much of the economic gains are taken back to China, with Chinese firms typically constructing the installations with temporary workers shipped in from China.

The communist mouthpiece Global Times went on to report that the Argentinian delegation made a visit to the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall in Beijing, where the body of communist dictator Mao Zedong — who was responsible for the deaths of between 60 and 80 million people — lays in a mummified state under glass.

Prior to the trip, the Argentinan Ambassador to China, Sabino Vaca Narvaja told the state-run newspaper: “For both Argentina and the rest of the world, Mao is a very crucial state leader.”

The ambassador went on to note that President Fernandez’s left-wing political party, Partido Justicialista, has “very important historical ties” with the Chinese Communist Party, claiming that former Argentine president Juan Peron “maintained friendship and correspondence” with Mao Zedong.

PM Expects End to ALL Remaining COVID Restrictions, Including Self-Isolation Orders, by End of this Month

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson has told parliament that he expects all remaining COVID restrictions in England to be lifted by the end of the month.

Britain’s Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, has said that he expects all remaining Chinese Coronavirus restrictions in England — including those to do with self-isolation — to be lifted by the end of the month, provided current “encouraging trends” continue regarding the disease.

Johnson made the comments during this week’s session of Prime Minister’s Questions, during which the premier came under opposition pressure for the ongoing “partygate” scandal, as well his handling of inflation and rising energy prices.

According to a report by Sky News, the Prime Minister told parliament that he expected all of England’s COVID rules to be rolled back one month earlier than initially planned.

“Providing the current encouraging trends in the data continue, it is my expectation that we will be able to end the last domestic restrictions, including the legal requirement to self-isolate if you test positive, a full month early,” the publication reports Johnson as telling the House of Commons, with cheers erupting inside parliament.

An end to rules requiring individuals with COVID to self-isolate had previously been expected to expire on March 24.

The PM’s announcement has been met with some positivity.

According to Sky News, Johnson’s former Brexit Minister, Lord David Frost, has welcomed the announcement.

“The PM’s plan to end all COVID restrictions a month early is the right thing to do and is extremely welcome,” Frost — who harshly criticised the UK government’s “coercive policies on COVID” in the past — said.

“I hope the government will also make clear we will not go down the road of coercive lockdowns ever again,” he continued.

However, another story that emerged parallel to the lockdown announcement is a new “partygate” picture of Johnson dropping during Wednesday’s Prime Minister’s Questions.

The image, published by tabloid outlet The Mirror, appears to show Johnson at an event on December 15, 2020, standing in the same room as an open bottle of sparkling wine.

“It looks a lot like one of the Christmas parties he told us never happened,” left-wing labour MP Fabian Hamilton told parliament. “Will the Prime Minister be referring this party to the police, because it is not one of the ones that are already being investigated?”

Johnson responded to the Labour MP saying that he was “completely in error” regarding “what he has just said”.

While some have been trumpeting the new image, others have not paid it much heed.

For example, Johnson’s former chief advisor, Dominic Cummings, did not seem impressed by the new image, writing online that “there’s waaaaay better pics than that floating around”.

Suggestions regarding the PM’s announcement being another “Red Meat” policy have also been floated.

The term is in reference to the so-called “Operation Red Meat“, which is reportedly designed around announcing highly popular policies — such as scrapping the BBC tax or deploying the Navy to help deal with the ongoing Channel Migrant crisis — in order to rescue Boris Johnson’s premiership.

Today’s announcement — which was made as pressure mounts against the British premier over a number of scandals — mirrors greatly the previous announcement made last month that England would have almost all of its lockdown restrictions relaxed, which came shortly after the so-called “pork pie putsch” against Johnson became known to the public.

“It’s amazing how much energy this Prime Minister can sum up when it comes to saving his own skin,” remarked the Scottish National Party’s Ian Blackford on ongoing events — including a recent mini cabinet reshuffle — during Wednesday’s parliamentary session.

Cressida Dick to step down as Metropolitan Police chief

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Dame Cressida Dick is leaving her role after a series of damaging controversies.

Dame Cressida said she had been left with "no choice" after London Mayor Sadiq Khan made it clear to her he had no confidence in her leadership.

Last week, the police watchdog found "disgraceful" misogyny, discrimination and sex harassment among some Met PCs.

Dame Cressida was the first woman to lead the UK's biggest police force.

Speaking on BBC London hours before her departure was announced, she said she was "seething angry" about the watchdog's findings and that she had "absolutely no intention" of quitting.

But in his statement, Mr Khan said he was "not satisfied" with Dame Cressida's response and that she "will be stepping aside" as a result.

Mr Khan thanked the commissioner, the first woman to lead Britain's biggest police force, for her 40-year policing career.

He said he would now "work closely with the home secretary on the appointment of a new commissioner" with an aim to restore trust in the Met.

Home Secretary Priti Patel said Dame Cressida held the role "during challenging times" and that she "exemplified the increasingly diverse nature of our police".

Dame Cressida, who served in the role for four years, has agreed with the mayor that she will continue to serve for a short time period to enable an orderly handover.

She said in a written statement: "It is with huge sadness that following contact with the mayor of London today, it is clear that the mayor no longer has sufficient confidence in my leadership to continue.

"He has left me no choice but to step aside as commissioner of the Metropolitan Police Service."

"I'm incredibly proud of my team and all they have achieved," she added.

Ken Marsh, the chairman of the Metropolitan Police Federation, which represents rank and file officers in London, said Dame Cressida had been unfairly treated.

"We feel the way she has been treated is wholly unfair and we did believe that she was the person who could take us through this and bring us out the other side," he said.

BBC home affairs correspondent June Kelly said the relationship between the mayor and commissioner has to work - and once Dame Cressida had lost his confidence, and after he was so public about that, things had become toxic.

She added this was a repeat of a situation we saw more than a decade ago, when then Commissioner Sir Ian Blair was forced out by the former London Mayor Boris Johnson.

So Anons, I have been thinking about the most damaging attack on our country, the one so evil it has destroyed the lives of up to quarter of a million of our girls, I am of course talking about the migration assault on our country to destroy our way of life.

Politicians carried out this treasonous act and it is going to have to be the people who fix it, so I am writing this to those politicians reading this in the hope you will take what I say on board.

First off, I am what you would call a traditional liberal who was pushed into a conservative position by the actions of the controlled belligerent governments that have been in power for decades, the attack via immigration has done more damage than both world wars and must be stopped and reversed, we the people will demand nothing short of total restoration of Great Britain to where it was before this happened.

When the British people wake up to what has happened there will be shock and disbelief, but when the dust settles, the reality of the situation will dawn on people and they will demand that a solution is acted upon. The UK is now a crime ridden hell hole and migration has played a massive part of the UK being a place that is no longer safe.

I have had years to contemplate this problem and I must say it all boils down to the fact, they have to go. When I say go, I do not mean gas chambers or firing squads, I do of course mean deported from these isles.

The people will recognise the invasion for what it is and will demand it is fixed, the law will have to be changed to something drastic and possibly draconian, many people will be distraught and lose their homes, but it has to be done. This solution will come with pain, but the majority of ethnically British will demand it, ignore this voice at your peril, you risk civil war should you ignore this issue, and that will end well for no one.

There is of course another thing that must be returned to us, the right to keep and bear firearms. We can clearly see that the USA is the only country that can fight this wave of evil and it is doing it because of an armed citizenry, we need to be able to protect ourselves from criminals and the government,

This needs fixing. I need to live back in the England I grew up in.

Metropolitan Police Federation Declares ‘No Faith’ in London Mayor Sadiq Khan

The Metropolitan Police Federation, which represents over 31,000 officers in London, has declared that it has “no faith” in the leadership of leftist London Mayor Sadiq Khan.

Following the dramatic resignation of Met Commissioner Cressida Dick in response to a lack of “sufficient confidence” in her from Sadiq Khan, the Metropolitan Police Federation has said that the Labour London Mayor has “undermined” the police force as a whole through his public comments condemning the “toxic culture” of “racism, sexism, homophobia, bullying, discrimination and misogyny” allegedly displayed by some officers.

Declaring that the Federation no longer has “faith” in Khan, chairman Ken Marsh said: “This is not a move we take lightly. We have let the Mayor’s office know in no uncertain terms how our brave and diligent colleagues deserve better.

“The atmosphere amongst Metropolitan Police officers is horrendous – it’s rock bottom. Officers in London feel saddened and angry that Commissioner Cressida Dick has been pushed out in the way she has. She was reforming. She was changing. The culture is changing. We are deeply disappointed with the actions of the Mayor.

“The hard work of our colleagues – and public trust in our colleagues – is being undermined by politicians. And by the Mayor of London in particular. The continuing scaremongering, sniping and sweeping statements are causing disaffection with the public… not the thousands and thousands of hard-working officers who are out there keeping people safe.”

The Metropolitan Police Federation chairman went on to say: “These officers are being unfairly lambasted for things they haven’t done. Every minute of every day – as we speak – thousands of Metropolitan Police colleagues are out there putting their safety at risk, tackling knife crime and robbery, countering terrorism, capturing child sex offenders, locking up bad people.

“The Federation will continue to speak up for these courageous colleagues. They are being forgotten about by our elected Mayor. Enough is enough. Officers have no faith in Sadiq Khan.”

Though Commissioner Dick suffered serious blows to her legitimacy following the conviction of one of her officers for the rape and murder of Sarah Everard last year, followed by a heavy-handed shut down of a peaceful vigil held for the slain woman, Khan did not oust her then. It was only after leaked WhatsApp and Facebook chats from officers making crude and derogatory remarks that the mayor finally moved against Dick.

Commenting on the move, Brexit leader Nigel Farage also noted that Khan “wasn’t critical because knife crime is out of control, he wasn’t critical because rape and sexual assault is out of control and convictions are miserably low, he wasn’t unhappy with her because of the rise of gang violence.”

Last year, Mr Khan was re-elected for a second term as London Mayor, yet recently his leadership has faced growing criticism, with a plurality of Londoners (48 per cent) disapproving of the job he is doing, according to a YouGov poll conducted in January.

In terms of handling crime, the polls were even less favourable to Khan, with 60 per cent believing he was handling crime “badly”.

During his tenure as Mayor, through which he also serves as London’s Police and Crime Commissioner, the British capital has seen over one hundred killings each year. Last year, London saw a record number of teenagers being killed on its streets, with 30 youngsters losing their lives. It has been estimated — as full crime stats for the year have yet to be published — that 127 homicides were seen in 2021.

‘Education, Not Indoctrination’: UK Minister Demands Schools Uphold Political Impartiality

Schoolchildren need to be afforded the ability to make up their own minds on political matters rather than being “indoctrinated” into particular positions by teachers, Education Secretary Nadhim Zawahi said on Sunday.

Amid growing concerns about far-left ideologies such as Critical Race Theory being pushed upon British schoolchildren in school districts such as Brighton, Conservative MP and the government’s Education Secretary, Nadhim Zawahi called on schools to maintain impartiality.

Zawahi is reportedly investigating Brighton and Hove city council over teachers being coached up on the latest leftist views on race in “Racial Literacy 101” courses that told teachers that children are not “racially innocent”.

In an open letter written in The Sun newspaper on Sunday, the education secretary — who is supposedly in charge of England’s national curriculum — stressed the importance of schools being free from political proselytising.

“Children need to form their own views at the same time as they learn to respect those of others,” he wrote. “This is how we prepare young people to take their place as a well-balanced and tolerant member of society.”

“That is why parents and carers need to be able to trust schools to be totally impartial. They need to be confident that their children can learn about political issues and begin to form their own independent opinions, without being influenced by the personal views of those teaching them.

“No school should be encouraging young people to pin their colours to a particular political mast… Put simply, it means education, not indoctrination.”

The education secretary admitted that while “legal duties on political impartiality have been in place for many years,” the government has not clearly defined the perameters of play when discussion contensious polical issues “like the legacy of the British Empire or the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.”

In a veiled comment on the Marxist Black Lives Matter movemet, Zawahi said that when teaching lessons surrounding racism, teachers should impress upon children that it has “no place in our society” but should refrain from endorsing organisations “that have widely contested political aims or views.”

He said that to combat the alleged confusion of schools surrounding political impartiality, guidance will be published for teachers next week by the government to prevent such indoctrination from occurring.

The op-ed from Zawahi comes amid ongoing controversy surrounding the teaching of Critical Race Theory in the Brighton and Hove council.

In January, it was reported that the Green Party-controlled city council had embarked on conducting seminars for teachers in which they were told that children as young as three and five-years-old could be the beneficiaries of so-called “white privilege”.

In an interview earlier this month, Green Party Councillor Hannah Clare questioned why the teaching of CRT principles was seen as controversial, claiming that the Marxist doctrine merely seeks to “talk about racism”.

She said that because white people “potentially experienced benefits from their race” it was important for teachers “to tackle” how “white privilege and institutional racism impacts our city’s pupils and staff”.

The Deputy Leader and Chair of the Children, Young People and Skills Committee for the city council went on to say: “This isn’t some covert thing it’s been going on for over a year.”

Aside from Critical Race Theory creeping its way into the UK education system, there has been a longstanding push to “decolonise the cirriculum” by leftist educators in response to the alleged deliterious impacts of the British Empire and slavery — a practice first abolished by Great Britain, which took great pains to stamp out slave trades throughout the world.

Covid in Wales: All five to 11-year-olds offered jabs

Wales has become the first UK nation to announce it will offer all five to 11-year-olds Covid vaccinations.

Welsh Health Minister Eluned Morgan said she was following a "yet to be published" recommendation from the UK's Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).

She said ministers and health boards were working on implementing the plans.

There are reports the official JCVI announcement has been delayed due to a disagreement with the UK government.

BBC Wales health correspondent Owain Clarke said he understands there may have been "a little frustration within the Welsh government that the UK government was moving perhaps too slowly on this, given reports that the JCVI advice had been ready for quite some time".

The minister did not set out a timetable for the vaccination programme.

She told Senedd members: "We're not going to do that as a matter of urgency, as we did over the Christmas period.

"That's partly because the risk isn't as great to that cohort.

"And we're also waiting to hear from the JCVI to see whether they'll need a booster on top of the booster for older age groups in the spring."

Ms Morgan said it was a "shame and it's perplexing to understand" why the JCVI advice on jabs for younger children had not been published yet.

She said it was likely to have been a "very difficult decision for the JCVI" because "generally, children have a milder illness and fewer hospitalisation, but, of course, they have to balance that against the prospect of missing school".

Later, in a written statement, the health minister urged "all families with children between the ages of five and 11, who are not in any clinical at risk groups, to visit the Public Health Wales website for information about vaccination and to begin a conversation about whether they want to take up this offer".

"We will be publishing an update of our Vaccination Strategy next week, which will set out further detail about the offer, once the JCVI advice is published," she said.

"Vaccination is the most important thing we can do to protect ourselves and our children against ill health. They prevent up to three million deaths worldwide every year."

In the Welsh Parliament, Plaid Cymru health spokesman Rhun ap Iorweth said he was "aware of calls from parents, from staff in education, from health professionals and care workers to push this option of vaccination forward as soon as possible".

This was because of "concern that the virus is spreading most among children and the impact that that has on family members who are unable to work and the impact that remains in terms of children's education, where there they do lose large amounts of school time", he added.

A low-dose version of the vaccine for younger children was approved for use in the UK in December, after being deemed safe and effective.

Since earlier this year five to 11- year-olds with conditions making them vulnerable to Covid have been offered the jabs.

There are approximately 250,000 children aged five to 11 in Wales.

Northern Ireland's Department of Health said it "intends to continue to follow JCVI advice on vaccination and will formally respond once the JCVI statement has been officially released".

What do we know about Covid in younger children in Wales?

In recent days, around 6% of all positive Covid tests have been in the under 10s, compared to as much as 15 to 16% back in November and December.

There has been a drop in case rate amongst the five to 11-year-olds, based on PCR tests only, since mid January, when it peaked at around 1,250 cases per 100,000.

Latest school absence figures show 4.9% of primary-age pupils were absent from school for a Covid-related reason in the week ending 4 February.

A third of 12 to 15-year olds have now had their second dose of vaccine - including more than 2,500 in the last week - following up from more than 57% of that age group having a first dose.

A Facebook post from the company's boss Mark Zuckerberg said Sir Nick would become its president of global affairs.

Sir Nick joined Facebook in 2018 as its head of its global affairs and communications team. His new role will see him focus on regulatory issues.

His promotion comes ahead of the US midterm elections in November.

Nuclear missile warning: RAF fears UK early warning systems thwarted during Russia crisis

THE ROYAL Air Force (RAF) has expressed concerns that the UK's early warning systems may be disrupted in the event of a nuclear missile launch.

The RAF is concerned over the rollout of new smart meters, that work on similar frequencies as the early warning system for missiles and are run the risk of interference. This comes as an expert warned that Russia is developing a "superweapon" in the form of a nuclear-powered cruise missile. As a result of these concerns, energy bosses have been forced to halt installations across parts of Yorkshire.

People who live near RAF Fylingdales have been refused an upgrade to a smart meter because their signals may clash with its ballistic missiles radar equipment, according to the Telegraph.

These are radar bases that form a part of the Ballistic Missile Early Warning System (BMEWS).

As part of intelligence-sharing arrangements between the US and the UK, the RAF Fylingdales will share the data it collects with the US.

This data gives the Governments of both countries a vital warning of an impending ballistic missile attack.

This base also has a few other vital functions, like being part of the US Space Surveillance Network and keeping track of spy satellites from other countries.

The reason these smart meters pose such a threat is that the frequencies they use to send data to suppliers are very similar to ones used by Fylingdales.

As a result of this, ministers have stopped the rollout of smart meters to some homes within the North York Moors National Park.

The energy firms will now need to install a new type of smart meter that would operate on the 454MHz frequency instead of the standard 422-424MHz band used by most smart meters.

According to the Telegraph, a letter from the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, was sent to some households late last year.

It read: “Some premises within the vicinity of RAF Fylingdales will require new technology that industry has been developing – a special type of communications hub – for smart meters at those properties to connect to the national smart metering network.”

The early warning systems are crucial to the UK’s defence, as Russia policy expert Clint Ehrlich has claimed Putin's military is running a secret programme of "superweapons" capable of taking on the US - in the event of talks over Ukraine breaking down.

Mr Ehrlich's warning comes as the Kremlin continue to mass troops near Ukraine, provoking Western fears of an invasion.

Mr Ehrlich told Express.co.uk: "There are additional super weapons that they've been developing, including a nuclear-powered cruise missile.

"This was actually something that the US looked at during the Cold War and it was viewed to be too dangerous.

It is not yet clear what the source of the problem is, but Ofgem estimates there are around 27,000 homes and businesses in the UK that rely on satellite broadband.

To date, SpaceX has launched more than 2,000 satellites for its Starlink network.

Mr Musk began rolling out its internet service to customers last year, and now has approximately 145,000 users in 25 countries worldwide.

Starlink is available to order in more than six counties and recently rolled out its "Better Than Nothing Beta" test.

It costs $99 (£73) a month, plus (£366) $499 for a kit with a tripod, a WiFi router, and a terminal to connect to the Starlink satellites.

Philip Hall, in rural Devon, south-west England, told Insider he was one of the first people in the UK to receive the Starlink kit and test out its internet connection.

Hall has barely any internet connection where he lives, making running a business and contacting the family extremely challenging.

Despite the connection dropping out from time to time and the limited range of the signal, he said Starlink was "a hope and a prayer."

It comes after 40 Starlink satellites were wiped out by a solar storm just a day after launch earlier this month.

SpaceX said: "Onboard GPS suggests the escalation speed and severity of the storm caused atmospheric drag to increase up to 50 percent higher than during previous launches."

The tech company tried to put the satellites into a "safe mode," but was unsuccessful.

They headed back to Earth orbit, burning up in the atmosphere on their way back.

Throughout the pandemic, the CDC has diligently maintained a running tally of Covid-19 cases, hospitalizations, and deaths for the public to view – you know, all of the numbers that make up the majority of virus fear porn.

But that information amounts to just a fraction of the data that has been collected by the agency.

According to a new report by the New York Times, the CDC has also been collecting much more detailed data about Covid infections that breaks down by age, race, and vaccination status. The critical information would go a long way towards figuring out an end to the pandemic, but the agency has purposefully suppressed the information from the public over fears that it would be “misinterpreted” and cause “vaccine hesitancy.”

In other words, the ‘experts’ in the US public health regime believe the plebs aren’t capable enough to interpret something themselves.

Within the data that has been withheld by the CDC are detailed information about breakthrough cases, hospitalizations, and deaths, which the agency has been collecting since the beginning of the vaccine rollout, according to officials who spoke to the NYT.

So much for the bogus lie that has been pushed by public health officials for months, claiming that breakthrough infections weren’t being tracked at all. The medical elites just decided to hide the data because it didn’t fit the approved narrative, and, naturally, blamed the potential for ‘misinformation’ as justification for the coverup.

“Kristen Nordlund, a spokeswoman for the C.D.C., said the agency has been slow to release the different streams of data “because basically, at the end of the day, it’s not yet ready for prime time.” She said the agency’s “priority when gathering any data is to ensure that it’s accurate and actionable.”

The performance of vaccines and boosters, particularly in younger adults, is among the most glaring omissions in data the C.D.C. has made public.

Last year, the agency repeatedly came under fire for not tracking so-called breakthrough infections in vaccinated Americans, and focusing only on individuals who became ill enough to be hospitalized or die. The agency presented that information as risk comparisons with unvaccinated adults, rather than provide timely snapshots of hospitalized patients stratified by age, sex, race and vaccination status.

But the C.D.C. has been routinely collecting information since the Covid vaccines were first rolled out last year, according to a federal official familiar with the effort. The agency has been reluctant to make those figures public, the official said, because they might be misinterpreted as the vaccines being ineffective.

Ms. Nordlund confirmed that as one of the reasons. Another reason, she said, is that the data represents only 10 percent of the population of the United States. But the C.D.C. has relied on the same level of sampling to track influenza for years.”

OnlyFans accused of conspiring to blacklist rivals

OnlyFans has been accused of conspiring to blacklist the social media accounts of adult performers working for rival websites, BBC News has learned.

Legal documents, previously unreported, claim OnlyFans directed an unidentified social media company to disable accounts of performers by placing their content on a terrorism database.

It is alleged that OnlyFans representatives paid bribes to the firm's employees to facilitate the practice. OnlyFans says it is aware of the legal claim and it has "no merit".

UK website OnlyFans - best known for hosting pornography - has grown hugely in recent years. It lets users share video clips and photos with subscribers in return for tips or a monthly fee.

Performers often use social media accounts - including Twitter and Instagram - to promote and link to adult websites showing their explicit content.

BBC News has learned that rival adult website FanCentro has begun legal action in the US against OnlyFans' owner Leonid Radvinsky and the company which receives OnlyFans' payments, Fenix Internet LLC.

The claim was submitted to a US court in Florida last November, but has been unreported until now.

It alleges OnlyFans directed an unidentified social media company to blacklist many competitor adult websites in 2018.

FanCentro claims the social media content of adult performers promoting rival websites to OnlyFans were placed on an international database - the Global Internet Forum to Counter Terrorism (GIFCT). The database uses advanced technology to stop the spread of terrorist images by recording a unique digital signature for them, known as "hashes".

The hash database is shared between all 18 members of the forum - including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Snapchat. If one company hashes a video or photograph, it is flagged to other members so they can moderate similar content on their platform.

According to the legal action, FanCentro believes the database was "manipulated", resulting in many adult performers having social posts removed and accounts disabled - despite them not containing any terrorist content.

This happened most noticeably on Instagram, according to the filing.

It is claimed the resulting reduced visibility of performers on social media led to a marked decline in traffic being driven to rival websites of OnlyFans. FanCentro is seeking financial damages.

However, performers who only promoted their OnlyFans accounts on social media did not face this punitive content moderation - it is alleged - leading to a big growth in traffic visiting the website.

The legal action also claims one or more employees of the unidentified social media company - including potentially a senior member of staff - may have been bribed to facilitate the scheme by OnlyFans representatives.

OnlyFans has not yet issued a legal response but a spokesperson said the company was aware of the claims - describing them as having "no merit".

Facebook is not named in the legal action but BBC News has learned that it has been issued with a subpoena - meaning it may be compelled to provide records. Facebook and Instagram both have the same parent company - Meta.

The subpoena requests copies of any internal documents showing rival websites to OnlyFans included on lists of so-called Dangerous Individual or Organizations held by Meta and any payments received from OnlyFans representatives.

West Midlands hit by earthquake

An earthquake has shaken homes across the West Midlands.

The British Geological Survey (BGS) said the 2.8 magnitude quake hit Walsall at a depth of 4.35 miles (7km) at 22:59 GMT.

It said the effects could be felt over a 12-mile (20km) radius from the epicentre, with tremors detected in Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Dudley.

One resident told the BGS it felt "like a wardrobe had fallen over or an explosion blast against the window".

The quake was approximately eight miles (12.8km) east of the 4.7 magnitude one that hit Dudley in 2002 before being felt across most of England.

Lorraine Smith, who lives in Stone Cross, West Bromwich, said there were "two rumbles" which she thought was a "truck going down the street" or a thunderstorm.

BBC journalist Elizabeth Joyce was at home in Willenhall, on the Walsall and Wolverhampton border, when the earthquake struck.

She said: "It happened around 11 o'clock and the whole house started to shake. Everything on the shelves was rattling, the walls vibrated and there was a loud rumbling sound.

"It was a surreal experience. I was simultaneously thinking 'oh my goodness, it's an earthquake' and 'there's no way this is an earthquake, we're in Wolverhampton'.

"It lasted a few seconds and didn't cause any damage but it was very weird."

Diane von Furstenberg has been named the 2022 recipient of the Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg Woman of Leadership Award. So, Anons, I am going to dig into Global and likely Bauer, these two mega corporations have been up to no good, they bought up all the local radio stations in the country to get the local radio licences into their portfolio, they then - in most cases, fire all the staff, close down the stations and incorporate them into their existing brands to expand them nationally. A prime example of this is Capital Radio, you can now get Capital Radio outside of London in most of the country, this was done at the expense of local frequencies, local jobs and local talent, all of that local advertising has been swallowed up and leaves the area, and in the case of Bauer, leaves the country as the parent company is German. Of course, the local newsrooms closed down or were massively scaled back, with centralised programming and propaganda news being broadcast from a centralised location.

This was all done with the blessing and approval of Ofcom. the regulator. It is Ofcoms responsibility to protect the radio industry, but they have deliberately overseen and permitted the destruction of local radio - this is clearly part of the attack on our nation. The public are largely unaware of what has gone on and unfortunately are so brainwashed they will likely not see the larger game that is in play, but this issue is possibly able to red pill the asleep as the corruption is so visible once it is explained to them.

There was a Cornish company that owned a few radio stations called UKRD, the main station they had was Cornwall's Pirate FM, a local station which is loved by the people it serves. Although UKRD owned many stations up and down the country, they allowed them to operate independently within the group, keeping local jobs and local radio just that, they were the model of how a radio company could grow nationally but responsibly. Unfortunately, UKRD was spotted by the giant Bauer Media, and this beast of a corporation salivated as it swallowed up the smaller parent company, adding loads of stations to its already swollen portfolio. It was the last straw for me and I started a Facebook campaign and drew massive attention to the threat Pirate FM was under, luckily the movement scared them off and they chose to keep Pirate FM the way it was, saving many jobs, this could only be done with people power, I was permanently banned from Facebook shortly afterwards, I was also posting a lot of Q content, so I didn't really fit in ;), I now evade bans with multiple burner accounts, post a load of red pill content on my wall, go into groups and outrage them with an unpopular opinion to cause a fuss, then they all look into who I am and are exposed to the best red pill content available! - this radio issue needs solving with similar tactics! The people were forced to crowdfund to get replacement local stations on the go, but with increased competition from these new national broadcasters in the area, it remains to be seen if these stations are viable and can survive in an industry which is dominated by monopolies which were allowed to grow by the regulator.

UK Broadcasting Regulator Could Move To BAN RT News After Russia’s Ukraine Invasion

UK Culture Secretary has called for total ban on RT, claiming it is “part of Russia’s global disinformation campaign”

RT News, otherwise known as Russia Today, is facing an outright ban from broadcasting in Britain and potentially the rest of the world following Vladimir Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

Censorship of RT has long been in the works and was being discussed prior to the escalation of tensions, with UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s Culture Secretary Nadine Dorries asking British regulator Ofcom to consider banning RT outright.

Dorries charged that “RT is demonstrably part of Russia’s global disinformation campaign, as its own editor-in-chief has made clear in the past, who has called the network an ‘information weapon’ of the Russian state.”

Ofcom responded by stating “We are expediting complaints in this area as a matter of urgency and we will not hesitate to take swift action where necessary.”

The statement further noted “It is acceptable for broadcasters to present issues from a particular perspective provided that alternative views and opinions are also represented,” adding “It would not be acceptable for any of our licensees to broadcast one-sided propaganda.”

RT’s deputy editor-in-chief and head of communications, Anna Belkina responded to attempts to shut down RT, saying “Even in the face of undue political pressure, [Ofcom] has continuously found RT to be in line with other UK broadcasters, without a single breach of broadcasting code to be found in the last four years – not something that can be said about many other channels in the country.”

Earlier this week, “opposition” Labour leader Keir Starmer called for a total ban on RT in the UK and the rest of the world calling the network a key part of “Putin’s campaign of misinformation.”

“Russia Today should be prevented from broadcasting its propaganda around the world,” Starmer proclaimed.

Boris Johnson responded to the issue in parliament, noting “We live in a country that believes in free speech, and I think it’s important that we should leave it up to Ofcom rather than to politicians to decide which media organisations to ban – that’s what Russia does.”

Other political figures in the UK have slammed the labelling of RT as Russian propaganda. Former British diplomat Peter Ford called the censorship efforts “appalling,” charging the “The [British] government demands one narrative, not just on Ukraine, but all international affairs,” further accusing British media of being “totally one-sided” on Ukraine coverage.

Charities have urged the UK to welcome thousands of refugees from Ukraine, matching the effort made after the 1990s conflict in the former Yugoslavia.

UN aid agencies said on Friday that fuel, cash and medical supplies are running low in parts of Ukraine, which could drive up to five million people to flee abroad.

At least 100,000 people have already fled their homes, while several thousand have crossed into neighbouring countries including Moldova, Romania and Poland, UN refugee agency spokesperson Shabia Mantoo told a briefing in Geneva.

Ukraine's 44m population is far larger than that of some of its neighbouring countries, such as Slovenia and Latvia which are home to about two million people. Poland has a population of about 38 million, Romania 20m and Hungary around 10m.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the humanitarian impact of the conflict "threatens to be enormous", but added the UK needed to do everything it could to stabilise Ukraine's economy and support its government.

In their letter, the charities - which also include the International Rescue Committee UK, the Refugee Council, and dozens of other humanitarian groups - said the Ukraine attack could be "the most significant European conflict since the collapse of Yugoslavia".

"A generation ago, the UK saved the lives of thousands of families from the Balkans through an evacuation and resettlement programme," they said.

"The government should now respond with a well-resourced initiative working with councils across the country, to welcome Ukrainians who need sanctuary."

Former police officer in Rotherham ‘failed to investigate abuse claims’

Ex-Detective Sergeant David Walker was in charge of a unit tasked with investigating child abuse.

A police officer in charge of a unit tasked with investigating child abuse in Rotherham failed to investigate information that teenage sisters were having sex with workers from a car wash, a misconduct hearing has heard.

Former Detective Sergeant David Walker also failed to investigate intelligence that a council youth worker was passing on the names of vulnerable girls to potential sex offenders, a hearing in South Yorkshire was told on Monday.

Mr Walker, who has now left South Yorkshire Police, denies all the misconduct allegations outlined against him which relate to the Rotherham child sexual exploitation (CSE) scandal which engulfed police and social services in the South Yorkshire town.

These allegations also involve claims that he failed to record concerns made in a series of emails from Jayne Senior, who ran the Risky Business youth project in Rotherham.

These emails included information that a teenage girl had been raped by a man in the presence of an accomplice, that one suspect threatened young girls with a gun he carried in his car and that a man who had been arrested for sex offences was encouraging girls as young as 10 to visit his home.

Opening the case against the former detective, Daniel Hobbs described how Mr Walker was in charge of Rotherham Child Abuse Investigation Unit between 2008 and 2012.

Mr Hobbs told a panel of three how Mr Walker was informed by a uniformed neighbourhood officer about how he had come across a drunk 15-year-old girl whose mother told him about concerns about her daughter and her 13-year-old sister.

The concerns involved the girl forming relationships and having sex with adult males working at a car wash in Rotherham.

Mr Hobbs told the hearing that Mr Walker “did nothing with this information”.

The barrister said the former officer did not record the intelligence, did not interview either girls or make further inquiries with the officer who first reported the concerns.

He said that one record made by Mr Walker said: “This appears to be a matter for social services. Please liaise and finalise”.

Mr Hobbs said the officer continued to fail to investigate despite learning more about the vulnerability of the girls.

He said a social worker said that one of the sisters was the “highest risk case she had ever dealt with”.

The hearing also heard the allegations that Mr Walker failed to act on information from Risky Business that a Rotherham council youth worker was passing the names of vulnerable girls he came across through his work to potential abusers.

Mr Hobbs told the panel: “Det Sgt Walker did nothing at all in respect of this information and simply left any safeguarding actions arising to social services.”

The barrister said the third allegation related to the series of emails sent to him by Ms Senior which he failed to record.

He said: “Some of these emails contained serious information about rape, historic rape and people driving around with guns in the boots of their cars.”

Mr Hobbs said during his opening of the case that Mr Walker will argue that non-familial child abuse was beyond the remit of the Rotherham Child Abuse Investigation Unit he led.

He said the former officer will also argue that he had not been properly trained in matters relating to CSE and that he was under-resourced.

Mr Walker is one of 47 officers and former officers who were investigated by the Independent Office for Police Conduct (IOPC) in the wake of the Rotherham child sexual exploitation scandal.

The Jay Report, in 2014, described how at least 1,400 children in the town had been subjected to grooming and abuse by gangs of men between 1997 and 2013 and outlined how police and social workers had failed to step in.

Of the 47 officers, eight were found to have a case to answer for misconduct and six had a case to answer for gross misconduct, the IOPC has said.

Five have faced sanctions from management action up to a final written warning, with Mr Walker’s case still outstanding.

A full report on the findings of the IOPC’s investigation is expected to be published following this hearing.

Last year, the watchdog published a “Learning and Recommendations” report which said that police must listen to the survivors of the Rotherham CSE scandal if they are to learn from the past.

The misconduct hearing was adjourned to March 21 when the panel will begin to hear evidence

Even as India is evacuating it stranded citizens in Ukraine by launching Operation Ganga, many are still to be taken out from the war-torn zone. In its latest advisory, India on Thursday urged its stranded citizens in Ukraine to learn a few Russian phrases.

The advisory issued by the Defence Ministry urged its Indian nationals stranded in Ukraine, especially Kharkiv, to learn a few sentences in Russian language, such as telling people they were students from India. The advisory also mentions a few sentences in Russian that the students should learn.

Couple of differences noted between the two pics of the same general scene taken on the same date by the same photographer.

1. Orange cone near bike.

2. Foldable bollard or sign laid down on island.

Neither of these items appeared in the Q pics of this scene. Prolly means that the Q pics were not taken on 22 DEC 2013 but that date can not be ruled out given the temporary nature of these markers which are easily moveable.

Did these items appear before or after the appearance of the bike leaning on the posts? How long might they have remained in place given the assumed use for traffic diversins and such? There was stormy weather approach that week. Here is a reverse-view looking toward the Q vantage on the footbridge; the camera is on an upper floor of ST THOMAS HOSPITAL. Taken 21 MAY 2018, which roughly around the date of the BLACK BOX pic. Of course there are changes in the markers but thot anons might find the different perspective a usefu reference.

Comparing with LISAMI6, the ad banners on the railing are a fair match. Add that we have compared the matching MILLBANK building lights in Getty pics dated for Christmas…

Am including a pic I had. Sorry no date but you might TinEye it. The aft-most banner seems a gud match and for reference.

Having difficulty mapping the street lamps of CH2 to those of an screencap taken from SV MAR 2017 - the trees are more bare than in other SV images from 2012-2014.

I think I have the first 6-7 lamps nailed but want to try to match all lamps up to New Scotland Yard at the Nigeria embassy on Northumberland. In getting this far noticed that the tree trunks do not seem to match-up on the Corinthia Hotel side of the avenue.

Maybe new eyes can see what my eyes can't.

The 1at aid sign lingered at least till MAY 2014, see pic, and was gone by at least AUG 2014. We have direct evidence for 27JAN to 2MAR 2014 to MAY 2014, about 4 months duration.

Am now thinking that sign was put in place for general use across these various events. Might spot the sign in NYE vids of people coming and going; or in the Santacon vids, IDK. There are other images that have zilch to do with these events but which may show the sign and help narrow the date of its first appearance, which then would move our bookend.

The red bike of SV JUL 2014 showed up again in SV MAY 2015.

So this seems to have been a regularly occupied parking spot. Might have been the same person for both bikes across those two years. The yellow bike appeared in the Q pics – all of the CH pics, in fact. It may hold some potential significance for these reasons.

Now upthread we have pictorial evidence that links the yellow bike and its parking spot to the only appearance of the advert board on the riverwall. Both were captured on 22 DEC 2013. The rarity of the advert board being captured is contrasted wtth the repeated capturing of the a bike at that same parking spot.

It appeared in day and night Q pics. What might THAT tell us? Was it abandoned? I don't think so given the length of time for which we have evidence of its presence.

Nonetheless, we have firmed up a connexion between the two locations as captured in the EMB/CH pics that Q dropped. The date of that connexion is 22 DEC 2013.

As moving about in SV, these bikes are there and then not there in the same SV month/year and with just one click of the mouse. There are multiple sequences that are almost seamlessly stitched together around the CH corner.

Dropping this SV screencap to capture the fact that both the 1st aid sign and the yellow bike appeared at the same time, at least in SV, which is not the case with all of the CH pics that Q dropped.

The appearance/disappearance of the bikes - both the yellow and the red - as one moves through the SV sequences is a bit jarring. Gonna take another look later with rested eyes.

The bike near the parking spot lookes like it is being ridden, rather than someone sitting as if getting on or off. Does appear to be waiting given the body posture. Looks like white top, under jacket, and a bare thigh which could indicate a woman in skirt or man in shorts. Kek. Hard to discern colour. At this point, assuming, subject to evidence to the contrary, that the rider is on the road surface rather than the sidewalk and just happened to line-up with the posts at the parking spot. If paused, the lack of traffic would raise a question or two as to why. The traffic cones on the left lane, from camera's vantage, appear to have closed off the route.

Do not look like tourists. To me. Kek. Otherwise there is scant pedestrian traffic and no vehicular traffic in either direction on Northumberland. Post-accident inquiry, perhaps.

Reminder, frens, that PapaD was in London during the spring/summer of 2014. Here is a scratch pad for an infographic that I did not get around to completing and polishing up. It is based on a photo that PapaD sported on his facebook page at one time.

Within the photo are various markers that helped to locate the pic.

1. Bus with route info and the painted BUS STAND sign on the surface of the road indicated the general location along Brompton Road. The bus shelter number narrowed it to Harrods.

2. The green awning confirmed the bus stand at which PappaD stood.

Details and updates to the street scene provided markers to date the photo.

3. The awnings were withdrawn during rennovations in APR 2019. Changes to details in signage across the street eliminated OCT 2015 to AUG 2016.

4. Details over PappaD's shoulder eliminated APR 2012 while providing fair matches for AUG 2014 to May 2015. On the other side of the street, an unusual statue above the entrance to an apartment building provided a match in AUG 2014; and the signage on shop windows nearby eliminated MAY 2014 but provided matches in JUL and AUG 2014 and MAY 2015.

5. This narrowed the bookends to between MAY 2014 and MAY 2015; the clothing on the pedestrians and on PappaD suggested a spring or more likely a summer month. The interval was narrowed to a few months during the summer of 2014.

Conclusion, the PappaD facebook photo placed PappaD in London during the summer of 2014. The general area is known for its significant population of Greek descendants. PappaD has a Greek background and served the early Trump campaign with insights into the economic and political role of Greek that could leverage an advantage in certain energy related matters, according to PappaD.

The upshot is that PappaD was in London in 2014 which is before the official launching of the DJT campaign for president. It is also just a few months after the narrowed interval during which the London Pics dropped by Q.

Hope the rough scratchpad image helps to clarify some of the pictorial evidence.

Well, I had to go back and find your original graphic to recollect the date of the motorbike accident. And Anon, not controverting you- just talking it thru as I see it.

The accident was recorded as taking place on 5MAR2014.

That’s 11 days prior to that new photo you found. In that new pic it’s apparent that they’ve completely shut westbound traffic.

Not something you do for 11 days.

I’ve seen traffic shut for 12, maybe 24 hours for a traffic investigation involving fatalities, but not 11 days. Could workers be prepping/shutting the lane for removal of the hoop ‘Keep Left” sign? Observe the Do Not Enter signs across the westbound lane.

Looked at that hooped sign again. From the accident report and pic of the sign, looks like it’s dented from the back of the sign where you would expect from the impact of the accident.
