Texas Ends Covid Mask Mandate, Lifts All Anti-Virus Restrictions, Allows All Businesses To Reopen

For 30 million Texans, the lockdown nightmare is over, at least for now.

With the CDC still scrambling to find any pretext to extend draconian lockdown measures and the new CDC director explicitly urging states not to relax restrictions, on Tuesday Texas Governor Greg Abbott defied the organization whose politicization has become a stamp of humiliation, and announced that the second-largest US state will lift the mask mandate and all other anti-pandemic restrictions amid declining hospitalizations and infection rates.

Effective March 10, all businesses will be allowed to open at 100% of capacity, Abbott said during a media briefing in Lubbock on Tuesday. His executive order allows county judges to reinstate anti-virus rules should hospitalizations surge.

“Too many Texans have been sidelined from employment opportunities; too many small-business owners have struggled to pay their bills,” the Republican governor said. “It is now time to open Texas 100%.”

Abbott’s anti-pandemic measures had drawn the ire of his conservative electoral base, which saw them as government overreach, and may have crushed any presidential aspirations he harbored. Indeed, Abbott received 0% of the vote in a presidential straw poll at the Conservative Political Action Conference this past weekend according to Bloomberg.

Meanwhile, new Covid-19 cases in Texas dropped to a five-month low of 1,637 on Monday, state health department figures showed, while virus hospitalizations slipped to the smallest tally since Oct. 28. This comes as Texas is administering more than 1 million Covid-19 vaccinations weekly, according to Abbott.

Update (1700ET): Shortly after Gov. Abbott's decision to follow the science and allow the people of his state to be 'free' to judge their own risks once again, none other than California Gov. Newsom - desperate to virtue-signal as he fights for political survival amid an imminent recall vote - had a two word response: "Absolutely reckless"

In a just world not plagued by a fake and corrupt media, Gov. Andrew Cuomo (D-NY) would be on the edge of resigning his office today, not over a handful of times he allegedly got aggressive with women, but over his sociopathic executive order that required nursing homes to accept patients still infected with the coronavirus.

That, after all, is the real scandal here, the true scandal, an act so monstrous Cuomo knew he had to cover it up, which he did by falsely blaming the order on the Trump administration and then lying about just how many seniors died as a result.

But instead of being pressured to resign over that, he’s being hit with perfectly-timed allegations of sexual misconduct, two involving former staffers, one involving a complete stranger he met at a wedding.

As these things go, while his alleged behavior is inappropriate (especially in the workplace), it’s nothing compared to the credible allegations against His Fraudulency Joe Biden, which involve a full-blown sexual assault allegation. Biden got away with much, much worse, so…

So what’s going on? Why is America’s corrupt media not at all interested in some 15,000 dead senior citizens while they tar and feather Cuomo over the allegations he made three left-wing women uncomfortable?

The answer is obvious…

Four other Democrat governors issued the same sociopathic nursing home order as Cuomo. Four other Democrats ordered infected coronavirus patients be admitted into nursing home facilities where 1) the most vulnerable live, and 2) they’re not set up to handle an infectious virus.

What this means is that if the corrupt media were to do the right thing (like that will ever happen) and go after Cuomo over his deadly nursing home policy, it would open a Pandora’s Box against these four Democrat governors and the Democrat party as a whole, which is something our fake media will never do.

Gov. Phil Murphy (D-NJ) approved a directive from state Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli that said no patient could be denied admission or readmission to a nursing home “solely based on a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19.” …

Gov. Tom Wolf (D-PA) enacted a mandatory admission policy in March, saying “nursing care facilities must continue to accept new admissions and receive readmissions for current residents who have been discharged from the hospital who are stable.”

Republicans singled out the rail project as an example of unrelated “pork” in the bill, which is being rammed through Congress without Republican support using special rules that allow a simple majority vote in the Senate.

On Tuesday, Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.) ridiculed the project as Pelosi’s “tunnel of love” ahead of an anticipated vote on the package later this week.

Aides to Pelosi, who represents San Francisco, had defended the project, saying that ridership for mass-transit plummeted during the pandemic, making it reasonable to increase government spending.

Today is the 3rd of March and of course tomorrow, is the 4th. I think we all know what is going to happen tomorrow. The same thing that happened yesterday and the same thing that will happen today. How sure of this am I? I am 99.8% sure.

We have officially been overrun and conquered. Xi Jinping has his team in the White House and in congress. At every turn, every opportunity they push a treasonous agenda. It's normalized now. Most give not a thought to the implications or the consequences of what this enemy within openly advocates for. Our system of election has been destroyed. Manipulated to swing elections against the will of the people in favor of traitorous democrats. Our judicial system, all the way to the Supreme Court of the United States has been neutered. Cowards who put their personal safety, their status and their supposed legacy before that of the Republic's health. They themselves, are above the law. As our Capital is locked down behind barriers and fences laced with razor wire our southern border is ordered open to receive what will be millions more of illiterate, future democrat voters. All in the middle of a pandemic. We will pay in infinite ways for this self inflicted invasion.

We, the People now have no recourse. No redress of grievances we legitimately suffer at the hands of those we elect and those they appoint. Governors, Mayors, City Counsels, District Attorneys aid and abet criminals, insurrection, murder, property destruction and do so openly……………………..and then are reelected. The "Long March Forward" has finally paid off and now their time is at hand. Xi Jinping and his Maoist comrades will not waste this once in a lifetime opportunity.

President Trump tried. He gave it everything he had. But it was too much. Too deep, too wide, too dangerous and too evil. He is gone now. Promising to reappear for an election that will be no different than the one we just went through. And Q? Gone, without a trace. No parting thank you. No parting words of encouragement, no parting words of anything. And gone with them, our nation.

Our last vestige of saving the Republic stands to the side obeying unlawful orders. They know all too well the sentiments of those that hate them. Despise them and seek at every opportunity to weaken them. They have yet, to stand. The despots will use them against the people when the time comes. If there ever was a time for our Military to defend the Republic, it is now. The fight is here. On our soil. In our towns, cities and states and it is as lethal and deadly as any foreign campaign our Military has ever been engaged in. We proudly defend our Patriots for their valor, honor, their oath to our Republic. Patriots. Your country is calling. Your country is in need. Will you answer that call or will you allow the Republic, for which you stand, one nation, under God, with life, liberty and justice for all to be submerged in tyranny and despotism never to be seen again by future generations? History will note how this ends.
