2/2-N/A: After reviewing the DNI assessment, and the DOJ/DHS report, and consulting with Pompeo, Barr, and Wolf, Mnuchin imposes sanctions domestically on actors who were engaged with the foreign interference, or who materially assisted it. Which would include many, many, many bad actors. Under section 9 of the EO, they won’t be notified of the sanction and they’d have to find out themselves.

After this, Mnuchin and Barr have to jointly prepare a recommendation “as to whether additional sanctions against foreign persons may be appropriate in response to the identified foreign interference and in light of the evaluation in the report mandated by section 1(b) of this order…” Of which, I’d expect massive amounts of sanctions to be levied on the CCP, and Iranians because of this action. Domestic bad actors first, foreign bad actors second.

TL:DR: If all the right players in the executive branch on our side, there could be good headway to convince the legislature to re-elect Trump for four more years, and to fuck over everyone that’s trying to rig our election. Plus, we take Obama’s ICA idea and shove it up his ass by looking at the Chinese instead.
