The Bible should not be taken literally. Mary is a representation of a pure mind that receives pure (holy) seed which brings forth the Son of God. The mind is like a womb, it is the woman in scripture. Seeds are thoughts. “Seed thought.” The things we do are a direct result of the thoughts we follow.

If a thought is planted into your mind to be a kind person towards others, and that thought conceives, then you will be a kind person in any given situation.

Now consider this: God is kindness. He plants himself into your mind (womb) and you are given the opportunity to follow him or not. If you choose not, then you will follow unkindness and bring forth a corrupt thought. But if you do follow the thought to be kind, then you will express that thought in outward visible fashion towards others. And the outward visible expression of kindness is the Son of God. The same is true for all thoughts that are wrapped up in love; things like patience, joy, generosity, peace, temperance, etc.
