Giuliani claims ‘Chavez approved’ Venezuelan election technology was used to rig election

Donald Trump’s election fraud lawyers – who describe themselves as an “elite strike force team” – have alleged that the vote was hacked and ballots switched from the president to Joe Biden, thanks to technology developed in Venezuela.

Rudy Giuliani, Mr Trump’s personal lawyer, leading the team, said that the election had been rigged by “a company owned by affiliates of Chavez and Maduro”.

They were angered by the use of Dominion, a Canadian-based company.

He was also upset at a Venezuelan firm, Smartmatic, being used - despite them only operating in Los Angeles County.

“You couldn’t possibly believe that the company owning this election machinery was an ally of Hugo Chavez, is an ally of Nicolas Maduro, and an ally of George Soros. What do we have to do to get you to the truth?” said Mr Giuliani.

“This is real. It is not made up. There is no one here who engages in fantasy. I know crimes – I can smell them.”

He said the votes in Michigan were “being counted in Germany, by a Venezuelan company. Owned by people who are allies of Maduro, and Chavez.”

Thousands of social media users have been sharing posts which claim that software from Dominion Voting Systems, a company that supplies election technology, is used in the same six states where Mr Trump is filing lawsuits in connection with the presidential election, suggesting that Dominion Voting is responsible for election fraud.

Dominion Voting systems were used in at least 24 states.

Mr Giuliani’s colleague Sidney Powell, the lawyer who pioneered the theory of a “deep state” of Obama-era officials set to thwart Mr Trump, insisted that Hugo Chavez, who died in March 2013, had approved Smartmatic’s systems.

“We have evidence that this came from Venezuela, from Nicolas Maduro, from Hugo Chavez, from Cuba, and from China which has significant interests in Venezuela.”

She added: “We have no idea how many Democratic officials paid to have the election rigged in their favour. This is a massive, well-coordinated effort. It is the 1775 of our generation and beyond.”

Ms Powell said that Dominion workers went overnight to closed polling stations to tamper with ballots.

"There should never be another election - I don’t care even for dog catcher - in this country using machines by Dominion and Smartmatic," she said.

Dominion, based in Toronto, has been majority-owned since 2018 by Staple Street Capital, a New York private equity firm.

Both Dominion and Smartmatic have released statements saying no ownership relationship exists between the two competing firms.

Smartmatic is an international company incorporated in Florida by Venezuelan founders. There is no reason to believe Dominion has ties to Venezuela, nor a partnership with Smartmatic.

While Smartmatic technology has been used in Venezuelan elections, accusations by government opponents that the company rigged elections there are unsubstantiated.

In 2017, the company accused Venezuela’s government of electoral fraud.

Smartmatic purchased the voting machine company Sequoia Voting Systems in 2005 but sold it two years later after objections were raised over its partnership with a company in which Venezuela’s government had invested. Three years later, Dominion acquired Sequoia.

Election security experts say it’s difficult to know for certain whether some Sequoia code may be used in Dominion’s software because of the industry’s limited transparency. Both Dominion and Smartmatic say they do not use each other’s software.

“Dominion has no company ownership relationships with any member of the Pelosi family, the Feinstein family, or the Clinton Global Initiative, Smartmatic, Scytl, or any ties to Venezuela,” Dominion said in a statement on its website.

“Dominion works with all political parties; our customer base and our government outreach practices reflect this nonpartisan approach.”

Smartmatic concurred in its own statement, saying, “Smartmatic has never owned any shares or had any financial stake in Dominion Voting Systems.

"Smartmatic has never provided Dominion Voting Systems with any software, hardware or other technology. The two companies are competitors in the marketplace.”

Smartmatic only provided technology and software to Los Angeles County in the 2020 election, the company told the AP.

Its technology was not used in any battleground states, including Pennsylvania, Georgia, Arizona, Nevada, Michigan or North Carolina.

Dominion has been the target of a number of false claims about the election pushed by Trump supporters, among them that the company switched or deleted votes cast for Mr Trump and that it has ties to prominent Democrats.

There is “no credible evidence” that the 2020 election outcome was altered by exploiting technical vulnerabilities, according to an open letter signed by 59 election security experts and released 16 November.

Q: Executive Director of Common Cause Georgia Aunna Dennis - I’m wondering when it comes to having more paper ballots at precincts for election day, are you all gonna have more allocation that’s not just 10% of a voting population or are gonna expand that to 15% to 20 to 25% after what we saw in June with the delays, extensions, some precincts not having enough ballots, I’m wondering what type of provisions are you all doing at a state level to make sure counties have enough supplies in the form of paper ballots for election day?

[50:40] Gabriel Sterling: Well we’ve, the rule is 10%, but we discovered unfortunately that some people interpreted 10% to be 0% which was obviously the worst possible outcome, and we are working with them all on logistics plans, we have some specific counties where we are going to be doing some special reviews with and they have to give us their plans on…getting those deployed properly to the right place, because emergency ballots have, well they’re precinct based, you can’t just print the ballot for your county or the districts that you’re…you have to have a precinct based thing, so you have to make sure to have all those.

And one of the things that we did when we purchased the entire system for the state was that every county will be given a mobile ballot printer and with that they can…the whole point of that is you’ll have the 10% in that location. Let’s say worst things happen, everything goes to crap, power goes out, it floods the room, you can go to the county office, and the bigger counties have multiples of these obviously and they can print more and there’s going to be a rover plan to make sure those are put in, the plan is those are belt and suspenders and one thing that was very frustrating for us at the state level is that if people would follow the rules and do the things you’re supposed to do a lot of the stuff wouldn’t have happened.

And what we really discovered was, by losing the institutional knowledge of our older poll workers, because the average age of our poll worker is 70 so we obviously lost a lot of those people for their own safety and rightfully so, didn’t go, it wasn’t the equipment it was the election process because people didn’t understand. And even people who did understand somewhat, they were treating the emergency ballots like provisional ballots. So they were taking it, they putting it in the sleeves, they were signing all that stuff, when really with an emergency ballot, if you’ve ever hand worked an emergency ballot, you put that it in the scanner, it gets counted just like the BMD ballot does.

So they were losing a lot of time with that process, we’ve been talking to the counties, doing a lot of training around this and we’re also deploying techs to all of the umm (gulp) locations on the off chance something goes wrong…Not goes wrong…because essentially what happened in all the 50 thousand pieces of equipment we had put out in the field, 14 were taken out. And the rules around handling those to make sure you give people the right ones.

Clark County, Nevada Registrar Joe Gloria is hiding from service of a subpoena by the Trump campaign, according to a post by a columnist for the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Victor Joecks wrote on Twitter Monday night, “.@realDonaldTrump’s campaign tells me they’ve been trying to serve Clark County Registrar Joe Gloria with a subpoena since Wednesday. County workers locked the building to keep them out and then Gloria hid in his house all weekend. What are Gloria and Clark County hiding?”

Nevada Trump campaign official and former state attorney general Adam Paul Laxalt wrote in a Review-Journal op-ed two weeks ago about irregularities by Gloria in the recent election:

…”In Clark County, registrar Joe Gloria used a new machine to verity signatures for mail-in ballots. He inexplicably and unilaterally lowered the signature-matching accuracy standard on this machine used to count ballots to 40 percent — well below the manufacturer’s recommended setting. AI and computer-vision experts have said that once the factory setting on the machine is altered, it takes months of effort from a massive team with the appropriate expertise to get it back to a reliable standard.

There are more than 600,000 mail-ballot signatures statewide, roughly 200,000 of which have gone through this machine in Clark County. Under this system, an unbelievable 99 percent of Clark County ballots have been counted as accurate, with no opportunity for any signatures to be challenged once verified.

Additionally, the county refused to allow any meaningful observation of signature verification. We simply don’t know how many of these signatures are bad and thus how many improper votes were counted.

We now know that there are thousands of illegal votes consisting of a combination of dead voters, out-of-state voters, double voters (those who cast ballots in Nevada and another state), among other improper votes. Gloria has said any look he would take at possible problems is complaint-based — in other words, not proactive but reactive in the event a complaint comes in. The same is true of the secretary of state’s office. There’s no mechanism for these votes to be checked if officials aren’t actively poring through these categories of voters where fraud is likely…

The Sheriff/Policeman/Law could do nothing without a signed complaint by the "injured person himself." It has been said that the Sheriff/Policeman (and there is a difference) was like a nick-el-o-deon in that a signed complaint was the "Nickel," and without it, the Law (sheriff/Policeman) could do nothing.

Now how were "they" able to accomplish this "Protective Shield?" Today we have a lot of what is "Called" Law that is not Law at all (Color of Law). You can now be protected from or charged with what you "might" do which is "Compelled Performance" or Administrative Public Policy Law which is Police Power and not Law at all.

In the Law Libraries there is a set of books entitled "Statutes At Large." Volume 37 of the "Statutes" has two books recording the Acts of Congress. "Part One" is "Public Acts and Resolutions," and "Part Two" is "Private Acts and Resolutions."

"Part Two" is "Private Laws Of The United States Of America" passed by the 62nd Congress in the years of 1911 - 1913. How many people know that our Congress passes "Private Law?" In this book is listed all the Private Resolutions and Proclamations passed by Congress in those years which includes the 16th Amendment "Income Tax Law."

What is Private Law? Private Law is in contradistinction to Public Law in that such part of the law which administers or regulates between Citizens enforcement of Rights where both the person in whom Right inheres and the person upon whom the Obligation is incident (the latter being fiction with bestowed rights [city?]) which is to say; Rights obtained by Contract between citizens and their government. For Contract purposes; the "Government" is a "person" of "bestowed Rights" (14th Amendment.).
