Oregon Senate President Peter Courtney announces retirement

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Longtime Oregon Senate President Peter Courtney announced his retirement from the legislative body on Wednesday.
Courtney made his announcement to his fellow Democrats in the Oregon Senate via text, his communications director confirmed to KOIN 6 News.
“Colleagues, I am not going to be running again for the Legislature. I will serve out the remainder of my term. It has been an honor and a privilege to have been allowed to serve locally on the Salem City Council and for all these years in the Oregon State Legislature. I hope I’ve helped,” he texted, according to Johnmartin Sherman-Lewis, Courtney’s spokesperson.
Oregon Senate President Peter Courtney on redistricting
Courtney’s retirement was first reported by Oregon Public Broadcasting.
The Senate President, who is Oregon’s longest-serving legislator, recently joined Eye on Northwest Politics with Ken Boddie to talk about the state’s redistricting map after Republican lawmakers accused Democrats of gerrymandering.
When asked about whether retirement was in the future, the Salem resident did not indicate a decision in his response.
“I liken myself to a workhorse and plowing a field,” he said. “I can still plow that field, I just can’t do as fast.”
He’s not the only recent Oregon political titan to announce retirement. U.S. Congressman Peter DeFazio announced his intention to not seek re-election after serving Oregon’s 4th Congressional District for 36 years in December 2021.

Dr. Arne Burkhardt headed the Institute of Pathology in Reutlingen for 18 years. He has over 150 published scientific articles.
Commentary from a doctor wishing to remain anonymous [summarized]:
If the findings are confirmed by other pathologists with additional samples, and if they are combined with the findings of Dr. [Charles] Hoffe (>60% inoculant recipients have elevated D-dimer tests and evidence of clotting) and Dr. [Ryan] Cole (increase in cancers after inoculation, including twenty-fold increase in uterine cancer), we are seeing a disaster of unimaginable proportions.
The conclusion is that essentially EVERY inoculant recipient suffers damage, with more damage after each shot. Given the seriousness of the types of damage (autoimmune diseases, cancer, re-emergent dormant infections, clotting/strokes, cardiac damage, etc.), these effects will translate into lifespan reduction, which should be counted as deaths from the inoculations. So, in the USA, where ~200M people have been fully inoculated, the number of deaths will not be the 10,000 or so reported in VAERS, or the 150,000+ scaled-up deaths from VAERS, but could be closer to tens of millions when the inoculation effects play out!

Sources at Comcast are suggest that an “unmanageable” Joy Reid will lose her 7PM EST MSNBC show “The Reid Out” this coming spring. The message from the network appears to be that her show is suffering a ratings drop, and that she is likely being fired due to repeated incidents of untruthfulness and her unlikable personality.
Reid’s past behavior include homophobic statements posted to various blogs, which she initially lied about writing. After her comments resurfaced, she claimed to be a victim of an elaborate hack. The comments included statements such as “adult gay men tend to be attracted to very young, post-pubescent types,” followed by an acknowledgement that she was openly homophobic.
She has also accused Muslims of being inherently radical and violent – a comment that would have had more right wing news anchors fired on the spot. In an interview with Rep. Ilhan Oman (D-Minn.), Reid decided to compare the way that Trump supporters act to “the way that Muslims act.” She has yet to apologize for her comments to her small yet woke audience, instead claiming that her wording was “not exactly the most artful way of asking that question”
More recently, Reid decided to argue that the media surrounding the heartbreaking murder of Gabby Petito was a case of “missing white woman syndrome.” In order to prove her point, Reid invited non-white nonprofit owners on to her show to discuss missing and murdered indigenous and non-white women. At no point in the show did Reid discuss any missing or murdered indigenous or non-white women with her guests.
Jon Nicosia, the President of News Cycle Media, said his sources at Comcast have confirmed that Reid will lose her show “in the next round of reshuffling at MSNBC.”
Nicosia’s tweet went on to state that the Comcast source said, “She [Reid] does not have a show come mid Spring,” and that the decision has been made.
Any allies Reid did have at Comcast, the parent company of MSNBC, have found out that Reid has been “less than truthful about past incidents.” Nicosia added that the network will defend Reid until right up to their public announcement of her show cancellation.
Reid has repeatedly been factually inaccurate in her television reportage. In one example, Reid insisted that Al Gore lost to George W. Bush in the 2000 Presidential Election by 538 votes.
Other public media and business personalities have both clashed with and defended Reid in recent years, particularly over her biased reportage of protests throughout the United States. Reid has openly stated that white people should not be protected under the First Amendment.

The vaxxes were being pushed in the US even before they were out of clinical trials. Some countries outside the US have been using alternative therapies, but this never gets reported on. In the Caribbean and India, they hand out treatment kits. But we hear nothing about it. He just coauthored a paper with colleagues from Honduras. Nothing here. Using gargles like betadine, dilute hydrogen peroxide and bleach help zap the viruses - masks and hand sanitizer don't. THE VIRUS IS SPREAD THRU THE AIR. This was known early in 2021. Put it in the nose too -half a teaspoon in a shot glass with 1.5cc's of watersquirted with a bulb syringe up into the nose, use the rest to gargle. Do that twice a day preventively - or 4x a day if you get the virus.
Only those with an iodine allergy or hyperthyroidism would have a problem - then use hydrogen peroxide instead. Tip: if it stings, it's too strong.
