UNITING AGAINST CORRUPTION

The Playbook on Anti-Corruption Collective Action will begin to answer these questions and more.

Based on the accumulated experience of past and ongoing Collective Action initiatives, the Playbook provides practical information

on potential approaches for exploring, developing, implementing and sustaining these initiatives over time.

It will identify some of the key incentives and challenges that different stakeholders can face along the way.

The Playbook also provides a practical and flexible roadmap that can be easily adopted, adapted and implemented locally

— driven by the Global Compact Local Networks, businesses and other relevant stakeholders.

To begin with, Chapter 1 briefly describes the history of Collective Action and why it has become such an important approach in the fight against corruption. Chapter 2 presents the main conceptual framework of Collective Action, its different types, and why it must be taken into account by companies

and other relevant stakeholders interested in fostering integrity in their markets and business environments.

Chapter 3 provides an overview of the different aspects that need to be taken into account when exploring the possibility

of undertaking a Collective Action initiative as well as how to prepare internally for its first steps.

These steps include the identification of roles in the overall process, the selection of a Facilitator and the identification

and prioritization of stakeholders. This may be of particular interest to Global Compact Local Networks as they start

considering or exploring how to set up a Collective Action with their participants.

This same chapter continues with external-facing main steps that need to be considered to introduce, develop and implement a Collective Action.

These main steps include how and when to hold the first workshop and subsequent meetings, setting up governance structures,

designing the form and content of the initiative and the different implementation steps up to its signing, and the rollout of its planned activities.

It also explains how to sustain and scale up Collective Action initiatives in time, including how to make them financially sustainable

and how to keep stakeholders engaged. Arising from their own experiences and challenges faced on an individual level,

many diverse stakeholders in the business community have become aware over time

— or they know intuitively — that the way out of these problems is by joining forces.

Acting collectively is the only way to level the playing field for all parties involved, to create fair market conditions for all participants

(including those of smaller sizes and with fewer resources), to mitigate the risks and create new business opportunities while

at the same time enhancing their reputations.

Yet while many of them know that the solution lies in joint, collective efforts, there is frequently a lack of practical knowledge regarding

potential strategies and tactics for how to set up initiatives of this kind.

How do they reach out to other peers (who are often direct competitors) interested in exploring a Collective Action initiative?

What is the best way to create, increase and maintain trust among different types of stakeholders while at the same time avoiding resistance?

How do they identify a facilitator who can coordinate the activities and the work of all stakeholders?

How do they select the right issues to tackle and the means to get everyone on board?

How do they engage participants and reach agreements on achievable goals and objectives?

How can these efforts be sustainable in terms of engagement as well as from a financial point of view?

Chapters 4 to 7 take a “deep dive” with practical descriptions of the main roles.

The Initiator, the Facilitator, the Participant and the Monitor are the roles that may be present in a Collective Action.

Each of these sections describe the specific types of actors that can play these roles, the (recommended) skills needed to fill in these positions,

as well as the incentives they might have and the challenges they may encounter while performing these functions.

The Playbook ends with a look forward at the evolution of Collective Action.

Future trends such as the role of technology in scaling up Collective Action, the inclusion and integration of new types of stakeholders

and the “connect the dots” approach among corruption risks and other sustainability and ESG-related issues will conclude

this practical and thought-provoking guide.

Three BuzzFeed employees who tested positive following the party told Insider that they were vaccinated and received their booster shots prior to contracting Covid-19 at the event, and are experiencing mild symptoms.

The outbreak also comes as Covid-19 cases have risen in New York City due to the Omicron variant.

BuzzFeed has reportedly strengthened Covid-19 protocols following the party and amid the surge of cases in New York City, including putting a temporary freeze on group meetings over six people, requiring masks in the office until further notice, and freezing all non-essential business travel until the new year.

The company is also conducting contact tracing, as well as offering free testing for close contacts.

The party, held on Dec. 10 at the Starrett-Lehigh building in Manhattan, was attended by employees from BuzzFeed’s New York and Washington offices, in addition to employees from HuffPost, which BuzzFeed acquired last year.

One of the positive staffers told Insider that they became aware that they had been exposed after BuzzFeed’s in-house contact tracing team notified them that they had been in contact with a positive case.

“The communication referenced that the contact might have been at BuzzFeed’s New York office, the holiday party, or at a group gathering in Los Angeles the prior weekend,” added Insider’s Steven Perlberg. “Another of the COVID-positive employees estimated that there were about 10 cases they knew of. This staffer said they were aware of five or six other staffers who currently feel sick and are awaiting test results.”

BuzzFeed’s head of global real estate, office services, and security, reportedly sent an email to employees on Thursday, writing, “With COVID positive cases rising across the US, we now have a number of known full-time and freelance employees who have tested positive in recent days.”

The email went on to say that staffers who had close contact with a positive case were able to take a same-day PCR test at the BuzzFeed offices in New York or Los Angeles, while those not located near an office could get the cost of their tests reimbursed by the company.

“BuzzFeed requires vaccinations for staffers, and partygoers had to present their vaccination cards to get into the event,” Perlberg reported, noting that CEO Jonah Peretti was in attendance. “Two days before the party, BuzzFeed updated its rules to require masks ‘unless you are actively eating or drinking.'”

Q friends, I would like to begin by explaining myself to some degree.

I am not used to posting on these forums, but I have been very fascinated by QAnon for some time.

I have been "lurking" and thinking.

I like the "code" aspect of Q and trying to figure out what the codes mean.

I don't like to get involved in politics as people get very riled up.

I hate totalitarian dictatorships

I am in favor of freedom and truth and beauty.

I totally now believe that some "good guys" on the "inside" devised a plan to put out coded messages that we can use to help overthrow corruption and evil.

Now I will get to my practical idea.

Q has sometimes spoken of a keystone.

I know that people have different opinions on this, but I have sometimes wondered if it is meant to be something concrete.

Maybe it is like a codebook that can help us crack the codes.

I wondered if it could be a movie.

Q has mentioned many different movies.

But I wondered if it could be a movie that he never mentions at all.

I think I have discovered the answer.

I am preparing multiple posts with graphical analyses that I believe help to prove that I am right.

I don't know what it all means, but I am very hard pressed to see how I could be entirely wrong with all the evidence I have found.

It is really just too many coincidences.

OK, before I "reveal" my answer I want to just give a few notes on how I "discovered" this.

This isn't about pure logic or anything like that.

"Proving" things is totally different from discovering them.

I kept thinking about this a very long time, and I kept feeling urges towards this answer, and finally I really jumped at it to see if I could make it work.

Now I think it does work.

But I think I should drop these tipoffs that I noticed.

Maybe it will help somebody else.

One thing is the post with an image from cartoonist Ben Garrison where he thanks MC Escher.

This made me think about Escher and staircases.

One of Escher's prints is about the "Penrose staircase" which goes up and up.

It is not the same exact one that the cartoon is based on, but it is like it.

That staircase was invented by Roger Penrose and his father.

Roger Penrose won the Nobel Prize for physics.

He sometimes thinks about stuff like time loops.

He is probably way better at physics than me but he wrights pretty well.

I like physics but I failed physics in school.

It was a complicated situation and I don't think it was an adequate reflection of my abilities.

I find it better not to dwell on past failures but to forge ahead.

That is one thing I have learned from life.

The next thing is a post where Q says that three movies will play at the same time.

I wondered how this could be possible.

You would get very distracted.

I hate to be distracted because then I make mistakes.

This made me wonder if Q is thinking of an atemporal view of time.

If you are looking at time from the "outside" then everything happens "at the same time".

For instance the Battle of Adrianople and the Battle of Agincourt happen at the same time if you are God.

They are just at different locations on the timeline.

If God wants to watch a battle, he can just watch any battle he wants.

This made me think about time travel.

I like stories and films about time travel and I like to think about what theory of time travel they use.

They don't always explain it in the film because people like to watch action scenes, but you can figure it out by drawing diagrams usually.

I have no idea if time travel is possible.

When I read theories from physics that make it possible, it always seems like there would be too much energy involved to have people make a time jump.

People would get smushed or burned alive.

But maybe digital information could be preserved.

But even if there were some "time window" that let you "see" other parts of time, I don't see how there could be a way to move it around like a telescope.

But maybe there is.

The hero impresses his girlfriend with his computer skills.

One day she comes running over to his house in tight shorts.

I think he got too excited and tried to impress her too much and launched a nuclear war.

After that he had to stop the war or they would all die.

I think there is a hidden meaning here.

If he just spent all his time hacking on his computer, his girlfriend would not come running over.

But on the other hand he went overboard and started a war.

I tried to figure out if there were some hidden codes in the film, but I didn't find them.

Thinking about WarGames inspired me to think of the answer though.

I draw lines between things that are connected.

I am sure you can figure out why I am connecting things so I won't try to insult your intelligence.

I am looking at each scene from the film and then I put all the possible clues in my notes.

Then I try to figure out which ones fit together in a graphic.

There are some possible clues that I did not use though.

In the first scene there are many clocks and then Marty goes into Doc's house.

He cranks up the knobs to the max and gets blasted by the airwaves.

Then Doc calls and tells him to meet later on.

All the clocks are wrong so Marty thinks he will be late to school and zips away.

FEMA Arrives in Tornado – Stricken Kentucky — With VACCINATIONS

The often-sluggish Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) arrived in Kentucky only hours after a freak mid-December tornado outbreak laid waste entire towns and killed over 100 people in a quad-state massacre. The disaster relief agency, however, brought more Covid-19 vaccinations than it did blankets, food, and bottled water, a clear sign that the Deep State-run organization is still trying to coerce law-abiding Americans into taking the jab.

As morning sunlight revealed the devastation in tornado-ravaged Mayfield, Kentucky, hundreds of FEMA personnel, some armed, and hospital nurses conscripted into serving the federal government, rolled into a city turned warzone.

They set up “command centers” in the hardest hit areas, near a candle factory where eight people died in the storm, and a block away from a subdivision where 70 homes had been ripped from their foundations.

A middle-aged woman in shredded clothes and her face encrusted in dried blood hobbled from the rubble and found her way to a FEMA relief station, an olive drab tent guarded by a pair of assault rifle-wielding FEMA agents. Her house, her life, she told them, was gone, lost to the tornado. She’d had one arm wrapped around a banister and the other clutched to her dog when the storm peeled away the roof. The swirling, howling winds yanked her canine companion from her grasp, and it spun up into the vortex.

Barely able to speak, she asked for water.

Upon entering the tent, she spied a cooler. The nurse in the tent opened the cooler, which did not hold bottles of chilled water but was filled from bottom to top with vials of Covid-19 vaccinations.

the congregation received the annual Christmas message and listened to a special guest.

Attendees gave a standing ovation as former President Donald Trump walked out with friend and senior pastor Dr. Robert Jeffress.

Church members and visitors waited outside for several hours this morning just for the chance to be inside the sanctuary with Trump.

Kerry Stuvar, who attended the service, said, “I think he represents our country well. I think he represents Christianity well.”

The former President talked for about 10 minutes, going off script at first.

He mentioned issues including the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan, immigration, and the border, as well as inflation.

“I think our nation is in great trouble,” said Trump.

“There’s a lot of clouds hanging over our country right now. Very dark clouds.

But we will come back bigger, better and stronger than ever. I’m telling you that.”

Dr. Robert Jeffress didn’t think the message was too political.

“I don’t think the president said anything overtly political. He didn’t mention any candidates he was supporting or opposing,” Jeffress said.

After his 10 minute speech, the former President delivered his Christmas message.

“Our country needs a savior right now. And our country has a savior. And it’s not me.

It’s somebody much higher up than me. Much higher,”

Trump said to cheers before ending his speech with a promise.

“It’s America first. And make America great again. We will do it. Thank you all very much.”

Trump spoke before an estimated 4,000 parishioners, delivering a message some like A.J. Mason wanted to hear.

“We need somebody that’s going to stand with us, that’s going to support us, that we feel is going to take a stand against what’s happening,

what’s going on currently in the United States,” Mason said.

The former President then went to the American Airlines Center where he headlined the “History Tour,”

a discussion of his administration’s history hosted by Bill O’Reilly.

Trump didn’t drop any hints about future political plans during the service or with Dr. Jeffress.
