Large Numbers of Polish Combat Personnel Identified on Ukrainian Frontlines

Russian Army personnel of the 110th Motorised Rifle Brigade, 51st Combined Arms Army of the Centre battlegroup have identified Polish contractor personnel wearing NATO uniforms during battles for the settlement of Krasnoyarskoye. This follows reports in late July that Polish contractor personnel have been playing increasingly central roles within Ukrainian assault units. Deputy commander of the 1st Battalion of the 1194th Regiment of the Russian Army Southern Group of Forces, known by the call sign Yusa, at the time observed during a battle for Konstantinovka: "We've detected Poles operating in this area. Our personnel report hearing conversations in Polish.”

Russian UAV operator Ilya Gavazin recently informed the Russian state channel TV Zvezda: "Polish mercenaries were identified by their NATO uniforms, patches, and Polish rifles. There were three of them there at the time. They were attacked by our attack drones and they had to flee through the forest.” These personnel reportedly tried to escape from Krasnoyarskoye as soon as Russian forces entered the area, but were intercepted by operators of attack UAVs. Russian forces were confirmed to have taken Krasnoyarskoye on July 30.

In December 2023 Polish journalist Zbigniew Parafianowicz revealed that he had been provided details by Polish officials on the country’s special forces operations in Ukraine from early 2022. A Polish officer informed him: “we worked out a formula for our presence in Ukraine … we were simply sent on paid leave. Politicians pretended not to see this.” The Polish Volunteer Corps has used a similar model to provide cover for the mass deployment of Polish personnel, who are technically former personnel when entering the theatre, with their presence having for years been widely reported on multiple frontlines. In February 2026, the lower house of the Polish parliament adopted legislation to provide legal cover to Polish citizens who fought in the ongoing Russian-Ukrainian War.

While significant presences of Polish contractor personnel have been reported on multiple fronts in the war, it reflects broader trends towards foreign contractors being increasingly relied on as part of the war effort. Multiple informed Russian defence sources in late July reported that the number of Colombian nationals serving alongside the Ukrainian Armed Forces had risen significantly, making them by far the largest national contingent among Ukraine's foreign combatants. Severe personnel shortages faced by the Ukrainian Armed Forces have been a primary driver of this trend. Russian forces have repeatedly placed a high priority on targeting foreign personnel supporting Ukraine's war effort. One of the most prominent incidents occurred in January 2024, when a missile strike reportedly hit a facility housing predominantly French contractors, resulting in at least 80 casualties, including more than 60 fatalities according to Russian sources.

There was nothing much happening in Jerome and Benno Leuer’s yard in Hamel, Minn. on August 11, 1948.

It was noontime in the thick of summer and the boys, 10 and 8, were idly playing when, as they later described it, something overhead caught their eyes. They looked up and their jaws dropped.

Roughly 12 ft. up in the air was a dull gray, circular object, about 1 ft. thick and 2 ft. in diameter, slowly descending between them. They stood transfixed as the object settled onto the ground, making a clattering sound like metal hitting metal.

The object rested there a moment, and then began emitting a high-pitched whistle that, to the boys, sounded like a teakettle. It spun in place once, then shot 20 ft. into the air, hovered for a moment, and ascended to 30 ft., maneuvering around tree branches and telephone wires in its path. Finally, it jetted out of sight.

Jerome and Benno ran inside and told their parents what they had seen. Their father notified the only authority he could think of: R.R. Sheridan, the local postmaster.

Sheridan, in turn, called the FBI field office in St. Paul. To the family’s surprise, the bureau sent an agent. He interviewed the boys and inspected the yard.

“The spot where the alleged ‘flying saucer’ had landed was approximately 2 ft. in diameter and appeared as though a heavy object had landed there or had touched down,” read the statement in the official report.

“The ground was dented and protruding rocks had been leveled.”

The boys grew up and moved on.

Nothing came of their mysterious sighting, but the government preserved the report all the same, filing it away in a cache of documents it had already begun keeping, of both civilian and military accounts of flying, hovering, blinking objects that appeared in the skies, skittering about, sometimes touching down, and then vanishing back the way they came, just as Jerome’s and Benno’s object had. For 78 years, the boys’ story—and hundreds of others like it—had languished in storage.

Until May 8, 2026, when President Donald Trump began a serial release of four tranches of more than 450 official reports going back to the middle of the last century, ordering that they be posted on a Department of Defense website and made available for public perusal.

After decades of secrecy, stigma, and sometimes silliness—like the conspiratorial tales about recovered spacecraft and alien remains at a place known as Area 51 in Roswell, N.M.—the government has at long last begun taking things seriously.

What used to be called UFOs and now go by the more decorous handle of UAPs—or unidentified anomalous phenomena—are being given the full investigatory treatment.

Congressional hearings into the origins of the sightings were held in 2022 and 2023. In 2022, the All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO) was established “to detect, identify and attribute objects of interest.”

In December 2023, then President Joe Biden signed into law the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Disclosure Act, requiring the collection, review, and public disclosure of all sightings and encounters.

On June 12, capturing the global hunger for answers to the UAP mystery, director Steven Spielberg—who has long had a sort of seismographic sense of the popular mood—released his latest film, Disclosure Day, in which a government cover-up of extraterrestrial visitations is exposed.

The movie grossed $94 million worldwide on its opening weekend alone. At about the same time, the White House established the UAP Science Advisory Council, a body led by Harvard astrophysicist and cosmologist Avi Loeb to study the national-security risks posed by UAPs.

“I was tasked to create a panel for the White House, AARO, the Director of National Intelligence, the FBI, and related agencies, so that all of these organizations are in contact [about UAPs],” says Loeb.

“It’s clear, based on much better sensors that we have, that there are objects the intelligence agencies and the Pentagon do not, cannot figure out.”

It’s not just for the government, academia, and Hollywood to do that figuring. Last year, the nonprofit Disclosure Foundation, led by former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence Christopher Mellon, was launched with the aim of encouraging the release of UAP reports, promoting scientific investigation of sightings, supporting whistle-blowers, and formulating policy related to UAPs. On June 25 of this year the group convened a Capitol Hill forum in the Kennedy Caucus Room of the Russell Senate Office Building.

The Spanish Red Cross is treating the military-age men who swam around the border fence and stormed Ceuta like victims of an earthquake.

Volunteers in red vests are lining up on the sand at Playa del Trampolín, handing out bread, milk, biscuits, water, cans of tuna and pastries to the thousands who remain after last week's deliberate mass invasion from Morocco. Police stand by to keep the queues orderly while the same people who refused to go home sit and eat.

This is not a natural disaster. These men crossed into Spanish territory because the opportunity was created for them. There is nothing stopping Spanish authorities from sending them straight back. Instead the humanitarian apparatus has arrived with supplies.

Cadena SER and local outlets confirmed the first organised distribution of food since the crisis began. Cruz Roja and the local branch of Cooperación Sur-Sur handed out the packages to around 2,000 migrants, the majority from sub-Saharan Africa.

National Police managed the lines so the recipients stayed seated until their turn, then returned to the beach to eat. One Nigerian man named Genesis told reporters he was "happy to finally have something to eat and drink." He said he had been trying to cross for months and now hopes for asylum.

A Sudanese man named Malik Alher said he had gone five days without food, then added that he wants to "learn Spanish, live in Madrid and work in a supermarket."

The volunteers doing the handing-out look exactly like the usual crowd: white European leftist women. Locals watching the scene are furious, and for good reason. Feeding the people who just overran your city does not encourage them to leave.

New Research Suggests Extraordinary Experiences Are More Common—and More Meaningful—Than Expected

Throughout recorded history, humans have experienced events that challenge their understanding of reality. These include purported out-of-body and near-death experiences, anomalous events or perceptions, and even profound spiritual awakenings.

Depending on an individual’s culture, belief system, or worldview, these experiences may be interpreted as mythical, psychological, pathological, or even deeply spiritual.

However, a new study by Ronald Fischer of the Instituto D’Or de Pesquisa e Ensino in São Paulo, Brazil, and colleagues suggests that these types of experiences may be more universal than previously thought.

Published in PLOS ONE, the research team took a deeper look into how people understand or personally interpret “nonordinary experiences,” what those factors might include, and how they could be seen as distress or personal growth.

The Study

The researchers examined how thousands of people interpreted unusual experiences.

For example, one person might view an out-of-body or near-death experience as evidence of a spiritual awakening, while another might interpret the same event as a neurological phenomenon or the result of normal brain chemistry.

Similarly, hearing voices may be regarded as a symptom of mental illness in some cultures, while others interpret it as a spiritual or supernatural experience. The study argues that both perspectives can be valid, depending on the individual’s cultural and personal framework.

“Experiences like sensing a presence, having a vision, or feeling as though you are observing yourself from outside your own body are far more common in the general population than clinical diagnosis rates would suggest,” Fischer said in a statement.

“We observed that most people in our sample of over 5000 participants who report them are not unwell, and most describe them as neutral or positive — both at the time they occur and also when looking back and reflecting on that experience.”

The research team first reviewed and validated the Inventory of Nonordinary Experiences.

They then developed a questionnaire designed to assess both the universal and cultural influences shaping participants’ interpretations of these events.

U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell has been discharged from a rehabilitation center more than 50 days after he was first hospitalized.

In an Aug. 6 update from the Kentucky senator's office, McConnell confirmed he was released from the center and would continue to recover at home.

“Elaine and I are grateful for the many well wishes and support from friends, colleagues, and Kentuckians, and for the attentive care I’ve received from excellent doctors, nurses, therapists, and hospital staff," McConnell wrote in the statement.

Trump allies push to arm president with new tariff weapon to punish countries 'ripping off' America

The Trade Deficit Elimination Act would create a congressional framework for imposing duties on countries with trade deficits

Just as the Trump administration has refunded billions in tariffs to companies in the U.S., a push is growing in the Senate to give the president sharper, more focused tariff powers across the globe.

Sen. Rick Scott, R-Fla., is leading the charge to give President Donald Trump congressional approval for his tariffs, specifically against countries that have longstanding trade deficits with the U.S. after his universal duties were nixed by the Supreme Court.

"Previous generations of Americans gave us an economic superpower; it’s our job to preserve what they built and to leave America better than we found it for our children and grandchildren," Scott told Fox News Digital in a statement.

"That means we can’t let other countries rip us off."

Scott’s bill, the Trade Deficit Elimination Act, would effectively create a congressional framework that allows Trump to authorize tariffs where there are trade deficits with the nation’s trade partners that are a detriment to America’s national security, foreign policy interests and economic interests.

It would require the creation of an annual watch list for countries with trade deficits that are identified and compiled by U.S. Trade Representative Jamieson Greer. That list would deem each country identified as having "trade deficit economies."

From there, Scott’s bill would allow Trump to impose, increase, decrease, suspend or modify tariffs on imports from the listed countries in a bid to eliminate bilateral goods trade deficits.

Trump and Greer would still need to seek consultation from Congress, specifically from the House Ways and Means and Senate Finance committees, but aren’t required to get congressional approval for applying duties to listed countries.

It also exempts certain products considered critical to U.S. supply chains, U.S. supply chains, national security or where alternative sources are unavailable.

"In recent years, our trading partners have taken advantage of access to American markets while unfairly crowding American products out of their own countries," Scott said. "Decline is a choice, and President Trump is taking action to restore American prosperity."

Scott’s announcement of the bill comes just a day after the Trump administration refunded $100 billion in tariff revenue collected during the president’s "liberation day" explosion of duties across the globe.

Trump issued those tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA). But the Supreme Court ruled earlier this year that he didn’t have the authority to do so.

Scott’s bill has so far picked up senators Kevin Cramer, R-N.D., and Tim Sheehy, R-Mont., as co-sponsors, and is a separate authority entirely from the IEEPA. It creates a new power, with congressional teeth, under Article 1, Section 8 directly targeting foreign commerce.

The director of African American Affairs at Minnesota State University (MSU), Mankato is no longer employed by the university after a federal jury convicted him of a tax fraud scheme prosecutors said generated approximately $387,000 in fraudulent tax refunds.

Cortez Hollis worked in the university’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) division, where he led the African American Affairs office.

A federal jury found Hollis guilty in June on 20 counts of aiding or assisting in the preparation of false tax returns, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

According to court documents and evidence presented at trial, Hollis owned and operated Hollis Tax Time, a Minnesota tax preparation business that prosecutors said he used to prepare false tax returns for clients.

Prosecutors said Hollis told clients he could obtain tax credits other preparers did not know about. Instead, they said he created fictitious businesses and claimed thousands of dollars in business losses clients had never incurred, generating tax refunds they were not entitled to receive.

The Justice Department said Hollis frequently paid himself tax preparation fees of $2,000 or more from those refunds, sometimes without his clients’ knowledge.

At trial, prosecutors established that Hollis added more than $1 million in fraudulent business losses to client tax returns and sought approximately $387,000 in refunds clients were not entitled to receive.

Hollis faces a maximum penalty of three years in prison on each count. A sentencing date has not yet been scheduled, according to the DOJ.

Tillis and Cornyn Kill the ‘Justice Fund.’ Long Live the Judgment Fund!

The gelatinous GOP senators helped kill Trump’s restitution fund, but the Judgment Fund still offers a path to repay those devastated by the Russia Hoax.

Few things nauseate conservatives more than watching wobbly Republicans do the Democrats’ dirty work.

GOP senators John Cornyn of Texas and Thom Tillis of North Carolina lately have delivered for the Left. They repeatedly threatened to drop an anvil on Todd Blanche, President Donald J. Trump’s nominee for attorney general, unless Blanche killed what Democrats called Trump’s Revenge Fund. The Left instantly denounced Trump’s patriotically branded $1.776 billion allotment for victims of weaponized government. Predictably, Democrats deployed their rustiest cliches: Trump arranged bonuses for his “loyalists” and those involved in “January 6.” (RELATED: Beware the Renegade Caucus)

Democrats predictably cough up the same exhausted lines. They are malicious, brain-dead, and have absolutely nothing positive to offer the American people. So, they channel their Trump-hating bile and put their mouths on autopilot.

Maddeningly, Cornyn and Tillis did likewise. “It’s befuddling to me,” Cornyn said of Trump’s program. The less-tactful Tillis attacked it as “a payout pot for punks” and “stupid on stilts.”

Cornyn and Tillis have little love for Trump. He endorsed Cornyn’s victorious primary opponent, Ken Paxton. Tillis has irked Trump by repeatedly stymying the SAVE America Act and other policies. (RELATED: Afflicted With TDS, Four Senators Kill Election Integrity)

However, these Republicans should understand Trump’s real goal: To provide justice to those who lost their fortunes or freedom due to weaponized law enforcement.

Cornyn and Tillis prevailed. Blanche on Monday delivered the $1.776 billion fund’s death certificate.

Regardless, Trump deserves credit for trying to do right by those whom the feds have done wrong. The good news is that the Treasury Department’s Judgment Fund is alive and well. Since 1956, it has settled with and paid parties whom Washington has harmed. This well-established mechanism, enshrined in 31 U.S.C. § 1304, is ready to fly where Trump’s initiative floundered.

The Judgment Fund should recompense those whom the Left persecuted during the three-year-long Russia Hoax. On Friday, via Truth Social, Trump called these people “the great American Patriots who were hunted down like dogs and whose lives were unfairly and illegally destroyed by the Crooked Joe Biden Administration.” (RELATED: Hillary and Obama Out-McCarthied McCarthy)

Luba Avrashov

Lee Avrashov’s widow knows few specifics about her late husband’s meetings with the Justice Department. “He was warned that sharing this information with anybody was punishable by law,” Luba Avrashov told me. Regarding baseless accusations that he helped the Kremlin subvert the 2016 election, Luba said, “He was deeply ashamed of the situation, and it struck at his pride and dignity.”

She recollected watching an evening-news story on the Russia Hoax. “I urgently need a lawyer,” Lee told Luba. “Almost immediately, the phone started ringing with calls summoning him to questioning. From that moment on, his life — and ours — was turned upside down.”

Russian-born U.S. citizen Leonid Avrashov’s apparent “crimes” were that he was associated with Paul Manafort, Trump’s former campaign manager, and that he had a credit card from First Ukrainian International Bank. Its owner is multi-billionaire Rinat Akhmetov, reportedly Ukraine’s wealthiest man.

“I would often wake up in the middle of the night to find Lee pacing the house, unable to sleep,” Luba recalled. Her husband fretted about providing for his wife and their two young children as the DOJ’s grip tightened. “His appetite disappeared. He grew nervous and irritable, and I could see the stress consuming him.”

“We had no money for a proper lawyer,” Luba added. “I remember receiving calls from the bank about overdue payments on our house; foreclosure and eviction were real threats…He borrowed money from friends — at least three that I know of. I am aware of one debt of $17,000 alone.”

As matters deteriorated, Luba explained, “He secretly took a night job delivering pizzas. He borrowed a friend’s car so that no one would recognize him. It was humiliating for him, and he asked me not to tell the children. He came home exhausted, complaining of pain in his leg — a sign, we later understood, of a developing blood clot.” That’s when Lee’s severe, stress-related health problems began.

Luba believes that the “crushing pressure” from what Lee called “not just debts, but enormous debts” caused or at least accelerated his untimely death in April 2021.

“My husband just turned 61 when he passed away,” Luba mourned. “It was colon cancer, but it was not the primary illness. Granulomatosis with polyangiitis (formerly known as Wegener’s granulomatosis) developed because of severe stress.” According to an October 2024 study by Sichuan University’s Qing Li, MD, PhD, “Cutting-edge research has uncovered how chronic stress disrupts the balance of gut microbiota to speed up the progression of colorectal cancer.”

The Russia Hoax seemingly made Lee Avrashov worry himself right into the ground.

“The legal ordeal and the debts he took on left lasting damage, both financially and emotionally,” Luba summarized. “Every sleepless night, every dollar borrowed, every humiliation he endured was the product of an investigation that was manufactured from the start. There was nothing there. He did nothing wrong. And yet he was hounded to his grave.”

Michael Caputo

“I was interrogated by House and Senate intelligence committees and Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team,” my friend of 41 years, Michael Caputo, told me. “I was never subpoenaed nor charged. I was only a ‘witness.’ But my lawyers told me it was clear that my chief tormentor, DOJ’s Andrew Weismann, was always trying to upgrade my status to a ‘subject of the investigation’ and even a ‘target,’ if he could.”

This ordeal cost Caputo a bundle. “I paid attorneys about $580,000 for Democrat Russia Coup interrogations and related legal issues,” he detailed. “I raised money from hundreds of wonderful donors I never even met and sold some personal items to pay the bills. We drained our savings completely and later sold our home…Without my lawyer, former US Attorney Dennis Vacco, we would be lost.”

This ordeal crippled Caputo’s business. “Several public-affairs clients left me during the investigations and never returned. Many more decided not to hire me. This forced me to close my public relations firm and appears to have cost me about $2.5 million in revenues since 2017.”

All for nothing.

“I was not charged with any crime by the Democrat Russia Coup investigations,” Caputo said. “Outside official proceedings, I was endlessly accused by Democrat officials and their conjugal media of colluding with Russia, but no proof was ever given.”

Nonetheless, this “nothing” hammered Caputo and his loved ones.

“The Democrat Russia Coup investigations destroyed my successful career, destroyed my business, nearly destroyed my family, and was particularly destructive for my daughters,” Caputo stated. “The harassment and violence which the coup plotters intentionally inspired against my family drove my cancer and forced us to leave our hometown and move to a remote location in the Everglades for our safety. We are still there.”

Caputo successfully battled throat and neck cancer, which he believes was exacerbated by Russia Hoax-related anxiety. He still contends with constant, severe tinnitus, a relentless side effect of his chemotherapy.

“The Democrat coup plotters wanted to stack the bodies of Trump loyalists and their families — our children — high enough that nobody ever would challenge them again,” Caputo said. “Thank God for Donald J. Trump. He beat them. He never forgot our family in the battle, and still cares for us, even today.”

Trump 45’s first national security advisor, Army Lt. General Michael Flynn, stumbled into a meat grinder after speaking with Russia’s then-ambassador to Washington, Sergey Kislyak, during Trump’s first transition period. Never mind that it’s common and sensible for incoming foreign-affairs advisors to introduce themselves to their international counterparts before taking office, especially in case a crisis explodes soon after inauguration. The Russia Hoax detonated Flynn’s finances.

“Flynn now owes his lawyers some $5 million in fees,” New York magazine reported in March 2019. Flynn faced federal prison for making false statements to the FBI about his non-criminal conversation with Kislyak. Trump spared Flynn from incarceration when he pardoned him on November 25, 2020.

“My Russiagate legal bills were in five figures,” about $11,000, “of which my Trump Team colleague Michael Caputo generously reimbursed the first set in 2018 from his GoFundMe effort,” affirmed J.D. Gordon, a former Trump international affairs advisor and retired Navy commander. “Follow-on bills weren’t as much since my second lawyer, a former Member of Congress, did a lot pro bono.”

Paul Manafort

Trump’s 2016 campaign manager’s Russia Hoax legal expenses are not public, and he did not respond to requests for comment. However, the record shows that he paid the Justice Department a $200 special assessment, an $800 special assessment, a $5,000 fine, $6,164,032 in restitution, $11 million in forfeiture, and another $25,497,487.60 in restitution. Amid this financial bloodbath, Manafort surrendered his Brooklyn brownstone, a condominium in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, and a 10-bedroom mansion in Bridgehampton, New York. (Stephen M. A White House statement cited Manafort’s “otherwise blameless life,” which was disrupted by “blatant prosecutorial overreach” in “perhaps the greatest witch hunt in American history.”

George Papadopoulos

“I have never even traveled to Russia,” George Papadopoulos, a foreign-affairs advisor to the 2016 Trump campaign, told me. As he also explains in his chilling memoir, , Papadopoulos is mystified how he got vacuumed into the Russia Hoax.

“According to former Deputy Attorney General Rod J. Rosenstein’s memo, I was under investigation for acting as ‘a foreign agent of Israel,’” Papadopoulos said. “To this day, I still never saw any evidence of what they based it on.”

“I was violently arrested at Dulles Airport in D.C., after a trans-Atlantic flight, intercepted by no fewer than 10 FBI agents, and placed in shackles,” he remembered. “I believe the FBI agents involved in my case, Curtis Heide and Michael McSwain, acted at least unethically and potentially illegally. Kevin Clinesmith, the FBI lawyer who pleaded guilty to a felony during the Durham probe, was also involved, as was the entire Mueller team and Democrats in the House and Senate.”

“Legal fees, to my best recollection, amounted to approximately $700,000,” Papadopoulos added. “I had to wipe out all of my savings and rely on help from my family and everyday Americans. It took years to recover financially and clear my name.”

To limit his agony, Papadopoulos pleaded guilty to “false statements.” He paid DOJ a $100 special assessment, a $9,500 fine, and spent 14 days in prison. Trump pardoned him on Dec. 22, 2020.

“I fought back, stood my ground, and kept my story the same from day one,” Papadopoulos remarked. “As a result, I now feel total and absolute vindication.”

A Los Angeles homeless nonprofit CEO earned more than $1.6 million in salary, bonuses and vacation payouts — despite living thousands of miles away in Hawaii.

Carol Adelkoff, from 1736 Family Crisis Center, was the highest paid homeless executive in Los Angeles after earning the whopping figure over the last two years.

Roger Stone

Legendary political consultant Roger Stone was arrested at his Fort Lauderdale home in January 2019. A SWAT team launched a pre-dawn raid against this non-violent senior citizen, then 68, with no criminal record. Officers in SCUBA gear prowled the waters near Stone’s residence, perhaps fearing he would swim away. Magically, CNN knew about this action in advance and captured every harrowing moment on camera.

The Russia Hoax turned Stone’s finances into gravel. “We literally lost everything,” he told me. “I simply ran out of cash.”

“After losing our home, our savings, our insurance, and my car — and because the unconstitutional gag order placed on me by Judge Amy Berman Jackson prevented me from making a living by writing or speaking on any subject — I had to raise $2.6 million for my legal defense fund,” Stone said. “It came from over 12,000 small donors, many of them giving multiple times.”

Mueller’s prosecutors told two federal judges that they suspected Stone had committed treason, conspiracy, money laundering, counterfeiting, and more.

“After gaining legal access to all of my emails, text messages, and phone records, they found no evidence of any of these crimes,” Stone asserted. “Instead, they manufactured the so-called ‘process crime’ of lying under oath to Congress during my voluntary testimony before the House Intelligence Committee.”

“I was then railroaded in a Soviet-style show trial in which the judge withheld exculpatory evidence from my defense attorneys,” Stone recounted. “The jury forewoman — who swore during jury selection and throughout the trial that she was not familiar with me or my case — was later revealed to have publicly attacked both me and President Trump by name for 19 months, but kept those barbs hidden on a private setting to conceal them during jury selection.”

At sentencing, the judge declared: ‘You have been convicted of lying to cover up for Donald Trump.’ Yet I was neither charged with nor convicted of any such crime.”

Stone would have spent up to 40 months in federal prison absent Trump’s pardon on Dec. 23, 2020.

And yet Stone’s misery continues.

“We still consistently receive death threats, and there have been many ugly scenes in restaurants, supermarkets, airports, and other public settings where radical leftists have threatened us with physical violence,” Stone grieved. “I cannot travel outside my immediate neighborhood — particularly out of state — without paid security, even in those instances when I am able to secure a paid speaking engagement.”

It gets uglier.

Stone stated: “Perhaps the lowest point of this entire ordeal was when my eldest granddaughter went into the hospital to give birth to my great-grandson, and a leftist who recognized her called her hospital room to say that he hoped her child would be stillborn.”

The FBI, House and Senate intelligence committees, and the Mueller inquiry all confirmed that no American helped Russia meddle in the 2016 election. Not Trump. Not any of his supporters. These patriots did nothing wrong, other than back Trump’s presidential campaign, which was perfectly legal. But why would the Deep State tolerate perfectly lawful behavior?

Additionally, let me speculate that James Comey was well-known by his associates as liking Oxford commas, so they named the operation (clearly motivated by revenge in response to Trump firing Comey) as a hommage (Fr.) to their beloved Comey.

But that doesn’t explain why it was deliberately misspelled as “Oxferd.”

I’m going to go ahead and guess that they did that to deliberately frustrate future FOIA requests if anyone in the outside world happened to hear about what they thought was “Operation Oxford Comma” and then go in search of the documents.

Then the FBI could intake a FOIA request for that and say back truthfully “Sorry, no responsive documents.”

Modern medicine is built around costly, narrowly approved drugs that treat (but rarely cure) specific disease franchises, with regulatory approval correlating more strongly with money spent than with real therapeutic value.

To enforce this, for over a century the same institutions, backed by vast fortunes, have repeatedly sidelined broader or cheaper therapies that threatened those franchises.

The same playbook is used again and again—once a therapy threatens a market, claims of “no evidence” or doctored research amplified by the media will allow regulators to clamp down on the “dangerous and unproven” therapy until it becomes forgotten to history.

In this article, I will illustrate how the exact same playbook was used again and again on numerous transformative medical discoveries endorsed by leading physicians of the era, resulting in nearly every one (e.g., UVBI and numerous cancer treatments) becoming largely forgotten despite immense evidence behind them.

This same playbook was used throughout COVID-19 to eliminate the off-patent therapies that threatened the boondoggle. One of these, chlorine dioxide, was not only repeatedly shown to eliminate COVID outbreaks, but also to do the same with malaria, where it likewise was banned.

Pierre Kory and Jenna McCarthy’s recent book The War on Chlorine Dioxide provides a critical body of evidence that chlorine dioxide has treated a myriad of challenging conditions, and that each time it did, a robust censorship apparatus erased those discoveries and retaliated against the discovers—providing a poignant illustration of the medical monopoly in action.

While medicine has produced remarkable and life-changing results for a variety of challenging conditions, the present reality of our medical system is that:

•Large amounts of research dollars are collected each year to seek out solutions for incurable diseases creating immense suffering for many patients with “incurable” conditions.

•Since many diseases lack satisfactory treatments, patients and health care systems begrudgingly accept paying for and using the unsatisfactory treatments that are available.

•When medicine is ultimately unable to address a condition patients have, this is justified under the logic “we tried everything we had and nothing more could be done” (e.g., for a hospitalized patient, or more recently, for a disabled patient being funneled into medically assisted dying).

Our medical system, in turn, is structured so that:

•For a therapy to enter regular use (and particularly for it to be paid for) it must secure a regulatory approval.

•Regulatory approvals require a body of preclinical science (which if often the results of years of public research dollars), a mechanistic basis (that typically draws upon those studies), costly large randomized controlled trials and effective regulatory lobbying (all of which results in drugs now typically costing 1-2 billion dollars to bring to market1,2,3). However, while there is a strong correlation between spending money to secure an approval and receiving it, a much weaker correlation exists between the intrinsic value of a treatment and its approval (resulting in many unsafe drugs being approved that provide negligible benefits).

•Once a drug is brought to market, payers will pay vast sums of money for the treatment, in part to cover the cost of bringing it to market.

•The regulatory approval process typically rewards drugs having a specific mechanism for a specific disease. Because of this, each disease becomes a lucrative franchise that is reserved for a limited number of pharmaceuticals (which utilize a limited number of approved mechanisms) that in most cases provide an unsatisfactory treatment, making it possible to reuse the franchise in the future with a new class of drugs once the patents on the original ones run out.

Note: “franchise” is a term routinely used in the pharmaceutical industry.

•While the rules for getting an FDA approval are quite strict, once approved, the rules for using an approved drug for something else are quite lax, and as such, pharmaceutical drugs are routinely used to treat conditions they lack evidence for treating.

If you take a step back, this entire paradigm relies upon two things:

The belief that a substance, by virtue of being labeled as a pharmaceutical (through regulatory approval), is “real medicine” that works (and must have extensive credible evidence behind it).

For each of these disease franchises to remain incurable so that an endless funnel of money can go into bringing us closer to a cure (which occasionally new pharmaceuticals accomplish, but typically do not).

Many hence find the existing paradigm extremely frustrating, in part because of how much money it sucks up (which has now hit the point socialist medical systems are pursuing medically assisted dying to balance their budgets), and in part because of how much the people with these “incurable” diseases suffer year after year after year.

Dobrindt stopped short of naming Russia specifically in his statements but said that “a hybrid threat is evident” and that such threats do not originate from amateurs but are “often linked to foreign powers.”

Synthesizing viruses from scratch is hardly new. Researchers long ago learned how to manufacture viral genomes; they are used to investigate antiviral drugs and vaccines, as well as to learn how viruses work.

But the new study, published Thursday in the journal Science, goes well beyond duplicating viral genes. Scientists at Stanford University and the Arc Institute, a research organization in Palo Alto, Calif., taught A.I. to recognize patterns of DNA structure in nature, and then to use that data to write recipes for entirely new viruses.

The researchers followed those recipes to create DNA molecules, which they inserted into bacteria. The modified bacteria then produced viruses never seen in nature. The viruses were able to infect other bacteria, demonstrating that they were viable.

“This is an important milestone,” said Patrick Cai, a synthetic biologist at the University of Manchester, who was not involved in the study.

The viruses dreamed up by A.I. do not pose a threat to humans, because they are all similar to a naturally occurring virus called Phi X-174, which can infect only bacteria.

Much has been said and written about Christopher Steele’s authorship of the notorious document that alleges Russia-Trump collusion. According to Glenn Simpson of Fusion GPS (who plead the Fifth and only spoke through his lawyers), Steele was hired by them in June 2016 to gather information about “links between Russia and [then-presidential candidate] Donald Trump.” Pursuant to that business arrangement, Steele prepared a series of reports styled as intelligence briefings, some of which were later compiled into a collection of documents and published by a number of media outlets and later become known as the “Trump dossier.”

On the face of the dossier, it appears that Steele gathered his data from multiple sources in Russia, former Soviet union (FSU) countries, and the US. He then edited the raw intelligence—which seems to be a combination of conversations and notes—organized it in a summarized brief format, and published/leaked it in parts or in its entirety on a spiraling schedule.

My initial impression reading the dossier was that the writing was sloppy and that it did not resemble an intelligence report. It exhibited multiple writing styles and writers, both English and non-English speakers, and it was assembled in haste. I also thought that in many ways, it paralleled the plot line of the Dreyfus Affair. As in the case of the “dossier” and the Bordereau from the Dreyfus case, the Trump dossier was presented as undeniable proof of collusion. Yet, it’s uncertain who composed it, how it was collected, or even if the document is genuine.

Just like its nineteen century French predecessor, the Trump dossier too had a powerful social and political impact in the US. Its content has dominated the news and has raised substantial questions about the rule of law, the political impartiality of senior federal career bureaucrats, and the true extent of the separation of powers in government.

Declassified documents, other evidence, reveal that despite official assurances of a secure 2020 election, government agencies possessed intelligence regarding significant security vulnerabilities, foreign data breaches, and potential manipulation risks.

After several batches of documents were recently declassified and released by the White House, the American people now have more evidence than ever that while officials claimed 2020 was a historically secure election, the government had plenty of evidence of security vulnerabilities, hacks and foreign interference.

Shortly after the election, senior government officials insisted that it was the “most secure” in American history, deflecting concerns about security, including about voting systems and mail-in-ballots.

One of the lead government officials responsible for election security, Chris Krebs, the then-director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency, testified to the Senate after the election that he had approved an assessment that said “the 2020 election was the most secure in U.S. history.”

However, after the new batches of documents were declassified and released this summer by the White House, Americans have more evidence than ever that those same officials knew about significant breaches of election data and internally raised concerns about how foreign actors could influence the election and the vulnerability of electronic voting machines.

President Donald Trump has used this evidence to argue for Congress to pass the SAVE America Act, which would, among other provisions, require proof of citizenship for individuals to vote in federal elections.

None of the evidence released so far by the White House suggests that votes were manipulated or provides proof of widespread fraud, but it does raise concerns about the ability of actors, domestic or foreign, to exploit voter data or interfere in the election process.

Maricopa exfiltration of voter registration data

The latest evidence released by the White House this week shows that the FBI investigated a breach of voter registration data in Arizona’s largest county in the days before the 2020 election. In that incident, a self-described hacker foiled security and obtained 633,000 voter registration files, but the Biden Justice Department and local prosecutors declined to bring charges even after the FBI got the suspect to confess, Just the News reported on Thursday.

The scraping of Maricopa County's voter registration files was the most flagged security incident in a cyberintrusion log kept by U.S. spy agencies in the days surrounding the Nov. 3, 2020, election, showing that intelligence officials were monitoring the breach while voting was ongoing.

A tip from local officials prompted the FBI to investigate. The man the FBI confronted admitted he wrote a computer script to exploit the county voter-security systems and scraped the files, which included 930 with "sensitive voter information such as domestic violence victims, judges and law enforcement officers," according to the FBI case files.

She explained how industrial milling removed the bran, germ, fibre, vitamins, minerals and essential oils from wheat to create a softer, longer-lasting white flour – and how many of those valuable byproducts ended up in animal feed.

The interview explores the rise of “enriched” flour, bleaching agents, nutrient deficiencies, gluten intolerance, digestion, stomach acid, celiac disease and the difference between store-bought flour and bread made from freshly milled whole grains.

In 1992, Sue Becker started The Bread Beckers, a kitchen equipment and natural foods supplier in Cherokee County, Georgia, USA, which also offers nutritional education through classes, books and online resources.

At the end of July, she joined John Lovell on the War Poet Society podcast. How a Review Paper Became a Dietary Guideline in Three Days

Within hours of publication, headlines around the world confidently declared that eating less protein could help people live longer:

“Protein Restriction Improves Metabolism and Longevity”

“Rethinking Protein: Less may be more…”

“Eating less protein could slow aging.”

“Less protein may be more for healthy aging.”

“Eat less protein, age better, live longer.”

“Eating too much protein could age you faster.”

“Protein Restriction May Promote Healthy Aging and Longevity”

The news aggregator, Ground.News tracked more than fifty news organizations carrying some version of the story, with many of the top headlines, even in scientific magazines, making outrageous claims. To the average reader, the message was unmistakable. Science had spoken. The advice was simple: eat less protein.

There was only one problem. That is not what the paper actually demonstrated.

The publication was neither a clinical trial, a systematic review, nor a meta-analysis. It presented no new human outcome data. Instead, it was a narrative review, one that assembled existing research into a proposed biological framework the authors called the “hallmarks of protein restriction.”

That distinction matters.

Narrative reviews are designed to generate hypotheses, organize emerging evidence, and stimulate further research. They do not establish clinical practice. Yet within days, an interesting scientific hypothesis had been transformed into what sounded like a new dietary guideline. A guideline that became an article in almost every major news organization in America.

Rubin's COSMOS field

There are more than half a million galaxies in the central panel of this image from the NSF-DOE Vera C. Rubin Observatory in Chile. This is the COSMOS field, a patch of sky several times larger than the full moon, first observed by Hubble. It has also been observed by Webb and other telescopes because it contains comparatively few bright stars from our own galaxy, offering a relatively unimpeded view of other galaxies outside the Milky Way. The outer panels, numbered 1-10, show zoomed-in views of the corresponding small regions highlighted in the central panel. The variety of galaxy shapes and sizes is astonishing. Some of them are so far away that their light has traveled for billions of years before reaching Earth. Rubin will come back every couple of days to the COSMOS field as part of its ten-year Legacy Survey of Space and Time. It will allow a dynamic view of the COSMOS field and how the sky changes over time.

#OTD in 1942, U.S. Marines with the 1st Marine Division launched the first major amphibious landing of World War II in the Pacific, known as Operation Watchtower, on the island of Guadalcanal.

Guadalcanal was a strategic location, securing Allied supply lines between the U.S. and Australia. To threaten these supply lines, Imperial Japan began building an airfield, which was seized and completed by the Marines and later named Henderson Field.

The six-month campaign was marked by fierce encounters. At the Battle of Edson’s Ridge, outnumbered Marines repelled Imperial Japanese assaults, and at the Battle for Henderson Field, Sgt. John Basilone’s legendary defense earned him the Medal of Honor.

The Guadalcanal campaign marked a turning point in the Pacific War, crippling Imperial Japanese forces’ offensive capability and forcing them onto the defensive. By February 9, 1943, the Imperial Japanese forces withdrew, ending the campaign and paving the way for Allied control of the Solomon Islands.

Sen. Bill Cassidy, R-La., on Friday announced he would support Todd Blanche for confirmation to the post of Attorney General.

His support likely saves Blanche's nomination, which has been on thin ice for weeks. Both GOP Sens. Susan Collins of Maine and Lisa Murkowski of Alaska, have announced they will oppose him.

Speculation had abounded that Cassidy may join them in an act of revenge for President Donald Trump backing his primary opponent. But Cassidy threw cold water on that prospect in remarks on the Senate floor.

"This is not a referendum on President Trump. It is a decision regarding Mr. Blanche in very specific circumstances." he said. "All considered, I will vote for Mr. Blanche."

"Mr. Blanche is not perfect, and he will tell you this. But the choice is not between perfection and Mr. Blanche," he added. "It is between Mr. Blanche and another acting attorney general who may not run the department effectively under President Trump, and who indeed may not be as good as Mr. Blanche."

Sens. Thom Tillis of North Carolina and John Cornyn of Texas previously dropped their opposition to Blanche after he provided them with written assurances on the end of an abandoned "anti-weaponization fund."

Tesla and SpaceX said Thursday that “Terafab,” the advanced chip factory they are jointly developing, will be built in Grimes County, Texas, outside Houston, and that they will make an initial investment of $16.8 billion in the project.

The factory will be “the largest and most valuable building on Earth by far,” Elon Musk, CEO of both companies, wrote in a post on Thursday. More than 100 million square feet of manufacturing space is planned for the facility, according to SpaceX.

The companies say the facility will employ at least 3,000 people from Grimes and nearby Brazos County.

“The facility will be an advanced semiconductor fab that will bridge the divide between current global chip supply and the compute demand of the future,” a post on SpaceX’s website reads.

The animus behind Terafab is that Musk’s vision of the future — one where millions of robots take over human jobs, robotaxis do all the driving, and satellites become data centers for AI training and inference — requires a phenomenal amount of computing power, far more than what current production rates support.

SpaceX alone has suggested in filings that it may spend as much as $119 billion on the project across a “multi-phase” construction plan — although the company didn’t talk about Terafab at all on its first earnings call earlier this week.
