Moulton: We Should Talk Court Packing Because SCOTUS Is Saying Haitians Should Go Back

Ian Hanchett26 Jun 2026

On Thursday’s broadcast of CNN’s “Laura Coates Live,” Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) argued that the Supreme Court is “basically saying that 350,000 people here should go back to a country that the State Department, under Marco Rubio, has said Americans can’t travel there because it’s so unsafe” and, in response, there should be talk about packing the court “to push back against the MAGA Republicans.”

Moulton said, “This TPS ruling, they’re basically saying that 350,000 people here should go back to a country that the State Department, under Marco Rubio, has said Americans can’t travel there because it’s so unsafe. And, of course, for some of them, it’s going back, for a lot of young kids who were born here in America with Haitian parents, they’ve never even been to this country before, a country that’s deemed too unsafe, too dangerous for Americans to travel to.It will tear apart families, it will upend communities. American citizens will see their classmates just ripped out of their schools. And on top of this, it’s going to take away a lot of healthcare workers.”

He added that thereshould be term limits and should be “ethics reform”, “But on top of that, let’s talk about packing the court, let’s talk about expanding it,let’s talk about what we need to do to push back against the MAGA Republicans.”

https://www.breitbart.com/clips/2026/06/26/moulton-we-should-talk-court-packing-because-scotus-is-saying-haitians-should-go-back/

The only reason they care is because they’ll lose all the illegal voters. I can’t wait to see that.

'''McLaughlin Poll: Trump Approval Rises After Iran Deal — But Messaging Gap Hurts

President Donald Trump'''

John McLaughlin By John McLaughlin and Jim McLaughlin Friday, 26 June 2026 04:15 AM EDT

The latest national polling shows something that many political observers have missed: President Donald Trump's standing with the American people is improving during a week dominated by his ceasefire initiative and negotiations with Iran.

Our June 17-23 national survey of 1,000 likely November midterm voters found that President Trump's job approval has risen to 50%, with 46% disapproving.

That's a significant milestone in today's polarized political environment and demonstrates that voters continue to give the president credit for his leadership on the issues that matter most.

At the same time, Republicans still trail Democrats on the generic congressional ballot, 46%-43%, underscoring that while the president's personal standing has strengthened, congressional Republicans still have work to do heading into the midterm elections.

Perhaps most striking, however, is the public's reaction to President Trump's Iran ceasefire initiative.

A majority of likely voters — 51%-34% — approve of what they have seen or read regarding the ceasefire deal.

That finding alone suggests Americans broadly support the president's effort to reduce tensions while pursuing America's national security interests.

But beneath those topline numbers lies an important lesson about media consumption and political messaging.

When we tested specific provisions from the Iran ceasefire memorandum of understanding, the results revealed a clear messaging gap.

Voters who receive their news primarily from right-of-center media outlets support the ceasefire by an overwhelming 72%-17% margin.

In contrast, voters who rely on left-of-center media oppose the agreement 54%-35%.

Those who do not regularly watch cable news slightly favor the deal, 42%-36%.

These differences strongly suggest that many Americans are not hearing the most popular elements of the agreement.

Consider what happens when voters evaluate the individual provisions:

76% approve requiring that Iran never produce a nuclear weapon, backed by American and international inspections to verify compliance. Only 14% disapprove. Support is broad, bipartisan, and cuts across virtually every demographic and political group.

75% approve requiring Iran to stop funding international terrorism directed at Israel and other nations. Only 14% disapprove. Again, this is a position that unites Americans regardless of party.

Those are not controversial objectives. They represent overwhelming national consensus.

Yet the overall debate surrounding the agreement often fails to emphasize these provisions.

There are, however, components of the memorandum that voters find less appealing:

Only 39% approve maintaining the status quo on Iran's nuclear program while the United States refrains from imposing additional sanctions or expanding its regional military presence. Forty-four percent disapprove.

Only 38% approve allowing Iran to maintain low-level uranium enrichment, while 49% disapprove. Opposition is especially strong among Republicans, conservatives and Trump voters.

These findings illustrate an important reality.

Americans strongly support the president's core objective: ensuring Iran never acquires a nuclear weapon.

They are more skeptical of concessions that could appear to weaken that objective.

That is why it is important to remember that this ceasefire represents the beginning of negotiations — not the final agreement.

Public opinion gives President Trump substantial political capital to pursue a stronger final outcome.

Americans overwhelmingly support verification, inspections, preventing nuclear weapons, and ending Iranian sponsorship of terrorism.

Those are powerful negotiating positions backed by the electorate.

Much more remains to be done, and much will depend on the negotiations that follow.

The ultimate success of any agreement will be judged by whether it permanently prevents Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons while advancing American security interests.

The American people have made one thing unmistakably clear: President Trump has their support in pursuing that goal.

The challenge now is ensuring that voters hear the full story about what is actually in the negotiations — not simply the political debate surrounding them.

Democrats Melt Down over Haitian TPS Ruling: ‘American Families’ Losing Temporary Amnesty After ’20 Years’

Simon Kent26 Jun 2026

Decisions by the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) on Thursday allowing President Donald Trump to end protected status for Haitian and Syrian immigrants, all of which make it easier to enforce federal immigration law, drove one self-interested Democrat group into a very public melt down.

The 6-3 ruling overturned decisions by federal judges that had blocked the Trump administration from terminating Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for 350,000 people from Haiti and 6,100 from Syria.

Step forward Democrat members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus who went into a very public fit of apoplexy.

They claimed SCOTUS is “enabling the Trump administration’s worst anti-immigrant policies, and in the process dealing our communities and our economy an undue blow.”

They held a press conference immediately after the judgments were handed down and one-by-one expressed their disappointment at moves that now make it easier for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to exercise its duties.

First off was Laura Gillen (D-NY). She sees Haitian TPS recipients as “part of the very fabric of our daily lives and pillars of our economy and our faith communities.”

Next up was a similarly mortified Rep. Rob Menendez (D-NJ).

He accused the Trump administration of seeking, “to create the largest undocumented population that it possibly can, to fulfill Steph Miller’s mission of deporting and removing as many people as possible… This is purely about inflicting as much pain on our immigrant neighbors.”

Not to be outdone, Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-AZ) then strode to the microphone to unleash her venom on the court and the president.

“Today we watched as the Supreme Court sided with an administration that is seeking to strip away the basic human rights, protected under international law, for hundreds of thousands of American families,” she said before turrning her attentions on the Supreme Court. (Not protected in USA.)

Rep. Pete Aguilar (D-CA) was also in high dudgeon. He said, “TPS matters. And to have a president who can unilaterally change the rules as he goes is shameful and awful.”(unless he was a Democrat President)

Guerline Jozef (Founder, Haitian Bridge Alliance) also was in praise of TPS holders and solid in her displeasure at the court and the president.

She said, “We have TPS holders who have been in this country, calling the U.S. home for the past 10, 15, 20 years. They are our doctors, caregivers, attorneys, taxi drivers — the immigrants who keep these United States of ours moving.”

Not to be outdone, Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-IL) accused the Supreme Court of having members who delight in siding with the president.

She declared, “Trump’s loyalists in the Supreme Court have joined forces with him to… advance an authoritarian white supremacist agenda.”

As Breitbart News reported, SCOTUS ruled 6-3 in Mullin v. Al Otro Lado, clarifying that a migrant who has not physically set foot into the U.S. is not entitled to apply for asylum and does not have to be inspected by an immigration officer.

Similarly, SCOTUS ruled 6-3 in Mullin v. Doe that President Donald Trump’s administration can end Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for hundreds of thousands of Haitians and Syrians living in the U.S. — making them deportable.

And, in a third case, SCOTUS ruled 6-3 in Blanche v. Muk Choi Lau,which will make it easier for DHS officials to deport green card-holders who have been convicted of crimes in the U.S.

DHS General Counsel James Percival said the rulings reinforce the steadfast notion the nation’s borders are critical to its sovereignty.

If they are mad about this result, they’re will really be pissed at the other 16 lawsuits the Trump Admin are pursuing on illegal migrants!

Small aircraft crashes into Beijing’s tallest skyscraper

By

Steven Jiang

Beijing — A small aircraft appeared to have struck the tallest building in China’s capital on Friday afternoon, in a shocking incident in one of the world’s most fortified cities.

Dramatic footage from Beijing posted on social media showed debris falling from the 109-story CITIC Tower, also known as China Zun, as well as a tail section of the plane and a broken window of a taxicab on the ground.

A CNN journalist witnessed people evacuated from the skyscraper gathering on the streets near the entrance, along with firetrucks, police cars and an ambulance.

CNN has not yet received an official response from the authorities. The person who answered the phone at the relevant district branch of the Beijing Public Security Bureau told CNN they were “not familiar with the situation.” They then referred CNN to another number but the call went answered.

Prosecutors Deny Racial Motive Behind Group Ambush ‘Lynching’ of French Teen Louis

Kurt Zindulka26 Jun 2026

Prosecutors in the case involving the killing of a French teenager that shocked the nationhave said that while a motive has yet to be determined, they have apparently been able to rule out a racial motive.

On Tuesday, 17-year-old Louis died in hospital after being brutally beaten to death in the Mediterranean town of Narbonne by a group of youths who ambushed him near a construction site last Friday. After being beaten by the group, Louis was left for dead, and his near-lifeless body was only discovered over 14 hours later by a worker.

Footage of the savage beating of the young man was widely shared on social media in France, leading to speculation that the killing was motivated by racial animus, given that some of the apparent perpetrators appeared to be ethnic minorities. The attack has been widely described as a “lynching”.

However, prosecutors have been quick to deny a racial element, despite saying that the motive for the attack remains unclear.

Speaking to the local L’Independentnewspaper, public prosecutor Jean-Philippe Rey said on Thursday that “the motive for the crime for which the five young men aged 17 to 19 have been charged remains unknown for now.”

However, it can already be stated that it has no connection whatsoever with a racial motive”.

Rey said that while three of the suspects were known to social care services for children, none of them was placed in the same facility in which Louis was temporarily placed earlier this year.

The prosecutor alsoconfirmed that Louis had been previously subjected to violence, including in May and earlier this month, when he was attacked by a separate, apparently unrelated group of youths. Footage of that attack appeared to show Louis being knocked unconscious. The public prosecutor said that, despite being encouraged to file a complaint, “no further action was taken” regarding the attack.

While apparently being able to rule out a racial motive, thelocal prosecutors have said that the attack that led to Louis’ death was likely “premeditated” as the group of alleged assailants had “laid an ambush for the victim by luring him into a construction site to beat him to death.”

However, some have still speculated that ethnicity may have played a role, including Frontières Editor-in-Chief Jules Laurans, who has been in communication with the family of the slain teen.

Racist crime remains a hypothesis because Louis was the ideal victim. He was vulnerable and associated with many people from immigrant backgrounds,” he said on Wednesday evening.

Regardless, the brutal killing has been taken as further evidence of the social degradation occurring in France.

National Rally leader Jordan Bardella remarked, “Louis, 17 years old, was lynched to death with unimaginable violence, filmed by his gleeful assailants, left to agonise through an entire night, and found lifeless on a construction site in Narbonne.

He is the symbol of a country adrift, undermined by a barbarisation that neither the laxity nor the blindness of our leaders can halt. We must dare to break with 30 years of failures if we are to restore order in France.”

2026 World Cup Has Already Smashed the All-Time Attendance Record with Over 3.6 Million Spectators

The American-hosted World Cup has already set a new record, with over 3.6 million fans in attendance.

With Thursday’s match between Ecuador and Germany, which boasted over 80,663 spectators at New Jersey’s MetLife Stadium, the total crowd in attendance for the 2026 World Cup rose to “3,605,357,setting a new all-time record,” per Yahoo Sports.

Theprevious attendance record of 3,587,538was also set in the United States during the 1994 World Cup. But with the 2026 tournament not yet in the Round of 32 the new recordwill continue to increaseand set a figure that might never again be reached.

To this point, the 2026 tournament includes the highest stadium-occupancy rate at 99.7%

Thursday’s matches also set a single-day attendance record with 384,206 fans watching across venues in Philadelphia; Kansas City, Missouri.; Arlington, Texas; Santa Clara, California; and Inglewood, California.

It should, however, be noted that the1994 World Cup featured just 24 teams playing 52 games total, while 2026 features 48 teams with 56 games so far. Stadiums in the past 30 years have also increased their seating capacities.

“For instance, though Lusail Stadium in Qatar had a listed seating capacity of 88,000 and packed in 88,966 spectators for the 2022 World Cup final, six of the eight venues for the tournament had capacities of 40,000,” noted Yahoo Sports.

DHS Lawyers Praise SCOTUS Rulings as ‘Victories for the Rule of Law, Common Sense’

John Binder25 Jun 2026

Officials at the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) are praising decisions issued by the Supreme Court of the United States (SCOTUS) on Thursday, all of which make it easier to enforce federal immigration law.

Muk Choi Lau, which will make it easier for DHS officials to deport green card-holders who have been convicted of crimes in the U.S.

DHS General Counsel James Percival said the rulings reinforce that the nation’s borders are critical to its sovereignty.

“These three rulings are all victories for the rule of law and common sense,” Percival said:

This includes barring aliens from applying for asylum if they haven’t set foot in the United States, making it easier to remove lawful permanent residents who commit a crime, and reaffirming that TPS was always supposed to be temporary and can be cancelled at the appropriate time. Thanks to these decisions, we now have several more important tools to continue securing our borders.[Emphasis added]

Meanwhile, Democrats have panicked over the rulings. The Congressional Hispanic Caucus, for instance, claimed SCOTUS is “enabling the Trump administration’s worst anti-immigrant policies, and in the process dealing our communities and our economy an undue blow.”

Milky Way Urban Style

In a cosmic vista you can never see, the Milky Way arcs through the night above Seoul, South Korea. Remarkably, this urban night skyscape reveals our galaxy's faintly luminous central region and dark obscuring dust clouds in spite of the brilliant city lights. To overcome the extreme light pollution of the metropolitan area and record faint cosmic details, an infrared filter was used to capture the night scene in a single exposure. While the filter transmits predominately infrared light, it still passes some visible light to give the scene a natural appearance. The view is from Seoul's Ttukseom Hangang Park, with the Han River and a well lit railway bridge across the foreground. The 123 story Lotte World Tower looms in the distance, the tallest building in South Korea.

Exclusive: Gubernatorial Hopeful Andy Biggs: Dem Gov. Katie Hobbs Literally Tore Down Immigration Barriers

Hannah Knudsen25 Jun 2026

Immigration enforcement would look much different in Arizona if Rep. Andy Biggs led the state as governor, the gubernatorial hopeful told Breitbart News Daily, discussing the open borders moves made by Democrat Gov. Katie Hobbs.

Biggs said the legislature just gave an additional 100 officers to the Department of Public Safety, which he said is “underfunded and understaffed.”

“But in that special force she says they can, they can work on gang-related issues and drug interdiction, but they cannot help the federal law enforcement with any kind of immigration enforcement,” he said, explaining Hobbs’ position.

“You know we have, I viewPima County and Tucson as kind of, if they’re not full sanctuary cities, they’re certainly quasi sanctuary cities,” he said, adding that Hobbs literally opened the border in her state.

“[The] first thing she did, she came in and got rid of the border security task force, and then started tearing down barriers that the previous governor had put in place, so that’s where she is,” Biggs said.

“[She] literally opened borders to the amount that was within her control,” host Mike Slater remarked. “What kind of, what kind of barriers were at the borders?”

Biggs responded, “So similar to Texas, Governor Ducey in places down by Yuma put up those like railroad containers or container barriers, and so that’s that’s what they had, and she tore those down.”

“Why? Just leave them, it’s easier just to leave them there, right?” Slater commented. “They’re there, he might as well just leave them.”

“Yeah, but then it’d be harder,” Biggs said. “People had to go around the barriers to get in, so that’s why. I mean, she’s an open borders person, that’s that’s bottom line for her.”

Biggs’ primary is July 21, 2026.

(Is Hobbs and team that cheated on 2020 election, ever going to get prosecuted? If she isn’t she’ll just cheat on massive proportions again, look at CA is doing again!)

Fact Check: Democrat Mary Gay Scanlon Claims SAVE Act Would Disenfranchise Half of Pennsylvania Voters

(so she is admitting 50% of her PA voters are illegal)

Paul Bois25 Jun 2026

Rep. Mary Gay Scanlon (D-PA) claimed that the SAVE Act would disenfranchise half of Pennsylvania voters by requiring them to show ID at the ballot box.

Scanlon issued her claim during a congressional town hall this week.

“Under this SAVE Act, Real ID that shows citizenship is required,” she began. “Only five states have Real ID that shows citizenship. Pennsylvania is not one of them.”

“So remember all the harassment you had to go through to get Real ID – if you did, because only half of us have it still – you’d have to go through more to get that kind of Real ID just to register to vote,” she continued. “So, it is an extra layer that is unnecessary.”

Scanlon concluded by dismissing claims of potential voter fraud.

Every study that’s ever been done shows that non-citizens are not voting in our elections, and so it’s another way to stir up fear, and it’s another way to keep people from voting,” she concluded. “Here in Pennsylvania, people don’t have Real ID. People don’t have passports. About half our voters would get disenfranchised if this thing were to go through.” (They just lie their asses off.)

While the issue of voter fraud will always be subject to debate and scrutiny,Scanlon’s claim that voter ID would disenfranchise voters falls short when examining the facts. In Georgia, for instance, where similar laws were put into effect, voter turnout either went up or stayed relatively the same. During the 2022 midterms following several reforms, early voting actually tripled from 2018 and doubled from 2020, with black voters casting over 100,000 more early ballots than they did in 2018.

Just this year, Georgia voters saw a record turnout for a primary election, with reports that even Republican Gov. Brian Kemp has grown “concerned about the Democratic turnout advantage,” per WABE.

“About 1 million people turned out for early voting as polls closed Friday, according to the Georgia secretary of state’s office. The previous record for early voting in a Georgia primary was about 857,000 in 2022,” noted the outlet.

“And Democrats have flipped the script on Republicans this year compared to the early voting period in the 2022 primary,” it added.

(What to hell is wrong with her face?)

It was just announced that, and I’m not necessarily thrilled to be talking about it because it does not exactly sound NICE, the Trump Administration has the Highest Average Daily Arrest Rate by ICE and CBP, including Total Detention, with Final Orders of Removal, than any other president, by far! The pending Final Orders are being seriously delayed by the Courts, but that is also a record. President Trump has the Highest 12 Month Removal Total, by far, of any president, despite the fact that they fudge their numbers by including people that never even tried to come into the Country. Likewise, the Average Daily Catch and Repatriation is, by far, the Highest under President Trump. No other president comes close. So, when you hear these Anchors, Pundits, Dumocrats, and Communists, try to make the case that President Obama’s numbers are comparable to President Trump, it would be nice if people like “Milk Toast” Shannon Bream, and others, would put up a little fight — Just a little. Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Deliberate misspelling 'Milk Toast' should be Milquetoast

milquetoast

adjective

1

of a person : timid, meek, or unassertive

Do we really want a someone who is a milquetoast halfhearted candidate or someone who will defend the Constitution with every fiber of her being?

2

: lacking in character or vigor : wishy-washy

… after declining multiple opportunities to comment during the reporting of the story, he finally produced a most milquetoast statement Friday.

A Look At Eight Outbursts Of Comet 7P/Pons-Winnecke

June 26, 2026

Cometary outbursts may be used as a means to infer the physical processes occurring on cometary nuclei. To that end, we studied eight outbursts of comet 7P/Pons-Winnecke identified between 2021 June 3 and 2021 August 31.

The data analyzed consisted of optical images and derived photometry of the comet from the Las Cumbres Observatory network of telescopes.

The outburst strengths relative to the ambient coma ranged from -0.2 to -1.1 mag, and the ejecta themselves had apparent brightnesses ranging from 17.4 to 13.3 mag.

The morphologies of the ejecta varied, suggesting that the events may have originated from different sources across the nucleus.

An order of magnitude estimation of the ejecta masses ranged from 105 – 106 kg, similar to other mini-outbursts of comets.

The surface-area normalized outburst rate estimated during this time period is similar to comets 41P/Tuttle-Giacobini-Kresák, 9P/Tempel 1 and 46P/Wirtanen, but 10 times larger than that observed at comet 49P/Arend-Rigaux.

However, a comparison to the mini-outburst rate of comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko reveals significant discrepancies between Rosetta spacecraft results and those from ground-based telescopes.

We also investigate whether or not cometary outbursts from 7P in the 19th century are needed to explain outbursts in meteor shower rates observed in the 20th century.

Stone-faced

John Bolton CONFESSES in court he stole government secrets

in stunning reversal... and begs for no jail time

...He pleaded guilty on Friday to a single charge of retaining classified information - a significant update in his criminal case, and one that may help him avoid a lengthy jail sentence.

Under the terms of the deal, Bolton could serve up to 60 months, or 5 years, in prison in exchange for his guilty plea. He may also be required to pay a fine of up to $2.25 million and serve 100 hours of community service.

Prosecutors said Friday that Bolton 'abused his position of trust' as former White House national security adviser by sharing roughly 1,000 pages of classified information in the form of 'diaries' with his wife and daughter.

Bolton then retained the documents related to national defense at his home in Montgomery County, Maryland, after leaving the White House.

Asked if agreed with that version of events, Bolton asked to have a moment with his counsel before responding: 'Yes, your honor, the summary is accurate.'

Bolton pleaded guilty to Count 12 of his federal criminal indictment, which accused him of retaining national intelligence information.

The plea deal is a significant reduction from the maximum penalty he could have faced if his case went to trial. Bolton was indicted last fall on 18 counts and, if convicted, could have faced decades behind bars.

He is accused of sending more than 1,000 'diary-like' entries to his wife and daughter during a period between 2018 and 2019, including classified information and information from intelligence briefings and meetings with foreign officials. ...

John Bolton Pleads Guilty In Classified Documents Case

Derek VanBuskirk

June 26, 2026 10:45 AM ET

Former National Security Adviser John Bolton pleaded guilty on Friday to one count of retention of classified documents.

The guilty plea is part of a deal struck by Bolton, who served a stint as National Security Advisor during President Donald Trump’s first term, with the Department of Justice (DOJ), according to The Washington Post.As part of the deal, Bolton will pay a $2.25 million fine and could face up to 5 years in prison.

In October 2025, Bolton was indicted by a federal grand jury on 18 counts of transmitting national defense information and unlawfully retaining classified documents.

The plea deal, whose draft came to light in early June, was approved by U.S. District Judge Theodore D. Chuang at a change-of-plea hearing in a Maryland federal court, according to The Washington Post.

When asked if he was indeed guilty of the charge, Bolton replied: “I am your honor, and I’m sorry for it,”The Post reported.

A federal indictment had accused Bolton of using hispersonal email to share “more than a thousand pages of information about his day-to-day activities.” However, the former national security advisor pleaded guilty to a different charge.

Bolton is set to be sentenced on Oct. 28.

Bolton, who served under Trump during his first administration, had been a vocal supporter of the president in the beginning and was reportedly considered for secretary of state. However, Bolton was instead chosen to be Trump’s third national security adviser in 2018.

He would end up leaving the position a little under a year and a half later after clashes with Trump during his service led to a falling out.

During his announcement of Bolton’s exit from the position in September 2019, Trump said, “I informed John Bolton last night that his services are no longer needed at the White House.”

“I disagreed strongly with many of his suggestions, as did others in the Administration, and therefore I asked John for his resignation, which was given to me this morning,” Trump added. “I thank John very much for his service.”

The foreign policy hawk often found himself in conflict with the goals of Trump, leading to severe disagreements, including Bolton’s reported attempt to derail a Camp David meeting and potential agreement with the Taliban, the New York Times reported.

Prosecutors claimed he had “diary-like” handwritten notes, according to the Post. The indictment accused him of sharing Top Secret material with two unauthorized individuals. A cyber actor was also to have connections with the Islamic Republic of Iran was able to hack Bolton’s email, securing access to sensitive information, according to the court documents.

King Charles has 'rubbed away royal magic' by not returning to Buckingham Palace

EXCLUSIVE: It has been revealed that the King will not live at Buckingham Palace once £369million refurbishment works are completed - and royal expert Jennie Bond has questioned whether it will now remain the “beating heart of the monarchy”

King Charles’ historic decision not to live at Buckingham Palace following a £369million refurbishment will “rub away” its magic, according to a royal expert.

Despite the renovations paid for by the taxpayer, Charles has decided it will not be the official residence of his reign. Instead, he and Queen Camilla will continue to live at nearby Clarence House in London, while the monarch continues to keep homes in Scotland, Gloucestershire and Norfolk, as well as using Windsor Castle in Berkshire.

EXCLUSIVE: Greg Abbott Campaign Trolls ‘Radical’ Democrat Convention

6/26/26

Republican Texas Gov. Greg Abbott’s campaign unleashed a series of stunts to counter program the Texas Democratic Convention on Friday.

Abbott’s campaign went after Democrats and their “radical” policy agenda, featuring taco menus that mock their political track record anddistributing “missing” milk cartoons depicting failed Democratic Senate candidate Jasmine Crockett.

The spectacle will also feature a live bull draped in a sign that reads, “Don’t buy the bull.”

The campaign is kicking things off with the “Talarico’s Tacos” truck serving real tacos with menu items like “open border brisket” and“veggie Talarico.” Attendees who order a “Democrat promises” taco will be served an empty tortilla.

Another part of the Abbott campaign stunts includes the Crockett milk cartoon, taking a jab at the congresswomanwith a line that reads, “If found, do not return.”

A billboard campaign will also be displayed outside the convention, depicting the policies of progressive keynote speakers like New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, Texas Senate nominee James Talarico, Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders, and New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. The billboards also list Democrat policies like open borders, high taxes, and the protection of transgender players in women’s sports, followed by the line, “Good luck with that!”

To top it all off, the campaignwill have a mobile billboard with a QR code outside the convention, taking users to a websitewith a ten minute compilation of “radical Democrats” as well as an in-depth breakdown of their policy track record.

“The Texas Democrat Convention is nothing more than a rebranding exercise for a party whose toxic agenda has no place in Texas••,” campaign press secretary Eduardo Leal told the Daily Caller. “==Democrats can change their messaging, but they can’t hide from their record of supporting open borders, defunding the police, and pushing anti-energy policies that threaten Texas jobs. Governor Abbott’s campaign will expose the Democrats for what they are — frauds.”

NASA Identifies More Than 40 Space Technologies for Collaboration

Jun 26, 2026

NASA selected 41 proposals from 37 companies to advance technologies in support of the agency’s goals to establish a long-term presence on the Moon and enable human exploration of Mars.

These American companies, picked from NASA’s 2025 Announcement of Collaboration Opportunity (ACO), will mature technologies creating solutions for space transportation, planetary surface operations, and lunar surface infrastructure.

“We are empowering American industry to become active partners in NASA’s missions to the Moon, Mars, and beyond,” said Greg Stover, director, Advanced Research and Technology Division in the agency’s Research and Technology Mission Directorate at NASA Headquarters in Washington.

“By tapping into commercial industry, NASA can rapidly develop key capabilities to support its most ambitious missions while fostering the nation’s robust space economy.”

NASA’s ACO establishes mutually beneficial partnerships between the agency and industry without the exchange of funds.

Through this opportunity, companies leverage NASA’s specialized facilities, software, hardware, and subject matter experts, allowing them to rapidly mature their technologies for both commercial markets and future government missions.

Since launching the first ACO in 2015, NASA has supported more than 110 projects.

The total estimated value of agency resources to support the agreements is approximately $30 million, which leverages an additional $32 million of industry contributions.

The period of performance will be negotiated for each agreement, with an expected duration of 12 to 24 months.

Industry proposers were tasked with responding to agency technology topics that would benefit from the rapid development enabled by a public-private partnership, including space transportation engine elements, guidance and navigation systems, landing systems, in-space servicing assembly and manufacturing, and energy management technologies.

The complete list of selections can be found on the agency’s website and span cross-cutting capabilities, including:

Power generation

Lockheed Martin will mature a modular, compact energy solution that could support sustained power generation in the Moon’s permanently shadowed regions, helping future crew and resources survive the long lunar night.

The company’s wireless power transfer system aims to advance power-beaming technology using fiber lasers and a space-based heat rejection system for durability.

In-space logistics

To enhance orbital missions, Kall Morris Inc. will develop Asteria, a supplemental payload attachment system. Asteria can attach to legacy, current, and next-generation orbital assets using a non-destructive, controlled-release adhesive without requiring pre-installed infrastructure.

This technology enables advanced maneuvering, improved object tracking, asset protection, data collection, and satellite life extension.

Dust mitigation technology

Moonprint Solutions, a small business, is proposing flexible isolation covers to protect critical hardware and systems from abrasive dust in the harsh lunar environment.

Flexible covers provide a strategic advantage by offering protection that conforms to complex shapes for a variety of hardware.

These durable covers could be used on rovers, robotic joints, hoses, and other articulated equipment to support long-term operations on the Moon and Mars.

Selected projects could make a significant impact on the commercial space sector, such as expanding existing or opening new markets, lowering price, increasing choice, or providing entirely new capabilities.

Organizations interested in developing space technology with NASA can explore opportunities online.

Report to Congress on Returning Humans to the Moon

June 26, 2026 6:55 AM

The following is the June 25, 2026, Congressional Research Service In Focus report, Artemis: NASA’s Program to Return Humans to the Moon.

From the report

Orion and the Space Launch System

The Artemis program has evolved from plans initiated in the NASA Authorization Act of 2010 (P.L. 111-267).

The act established a statutory goal of “expand[ing] permanent human presence beyond low-Earth orbit” and mandated the development of a crew capsule and a heavy-lift rocket to accomplish that goal.

The capsule, now known as Orion, and the rocket, known as the Space Launch System (SLS), have been in development since that time (see Figure 1).

Each Orion capsule consists of a crew module with room for four to six astronauts, storage space, and a docking port; a service module (contributed by the European Space Agency) to provide power and propulsion; and a launch abort system.

The crew module is designed to be reusable and is the only portion intended to return to Earth at the end of a mission.

SLS is an expendable rocket designed to carry Orion into space and set it on an initial trajectory to the Moon.

SLS could also be used for other missions involving heavy payloads or requiring very high thrust. As required by P.L. 111-267, SLS was designed to accommodate future, phased upgrades (known as Block 1, Block 1B, and Block 2) to increase its thrust capacity.

Similarly, NASA planned to upgrade SLS’s upper stages (i.e., in-space propulsion) by developing what is known as the Exploration Upper Stage.

The first launch of Orion on an SLS was in November 2022. This mission, known as Artemis I, was an uncrewed test flight near the Moon to certify safety for crewed flights.

Artemis II, the first crewed test of Orion and SLS, occurred in April 2026. Orion and its crew of four traveled near the Moon before returning to Earth.

In February 2026, the NASA Administrator announced that, after Artemis II, NASA will use a single version of SLS in a “near Block 1 configuration,” rather than upgrading to the Block 1B and Block 2 variants for future missions, in order to reduce complexity and accelerate manufacturing.

Rather than developing the Exploration Upper Stage, NASA selected the United Launch Alliance’s (ULA’S) Vulcan Centaur V Upper Stage in March 2026.

The agency intends to award ULA a sole-source contract (i.e., no competitive bidding), as it determined that existing alternatives “fail to meet the performance requirements” or would require significant modifications or development.

Human Landing System

The Orion capsule is not designed to land on the Moon. Instead, astronauts are to transfer to a separate spacecraft, known as a Human Landing System (HLS), for lunar descent and ascent (see Figure 1).

NASA selected two HLS providers: SpaceX, using a version of its Starship, and Blue Origin, using its Blue Moon lander. Both systems are still in development.

In February 2026, the NASA Administrator announced that the Artemis III mission, to occur in mid-2027, will demonstrate one or both HLSs in low Earth orbit. Next, Artemis IV is to be the first human landing on the Moon since 1972 and is planned to occur by 2028.

In a March 2026 report, the NASA Office of Inspector General (OIG) reported that both HLS providers have faced schedule delays and technical challenges that “have the potential to further impact lander costs and delivery schedules,” particularly for a 2028 lunar landing. NASA is considering proposals from both providers to accelerate development in support of the 2028 target date.

Pelosi’s would-be successor [Scott Wiener] faces radical reality of Bay Area voters in heated confrontation

The leading candidate to win Nancy Pelosi’s congressional seat faced a grilling at the hands of a pro-Palestinian activist at a busy establishment in San Francisco’s Mission District.

A viral, three-minute clip shows an unidentified agitator berating California state Sen. Scott Wiener, who advanced to the November general election for California’s 11th congressional district with 41% of the vote over Pelosi-endorsed Connie Chan.

The man calls Wiener, who is Jewish, a “Zionist” and repeatedly demands that he say “Free Palestine.”

“There’s innocent children being killed in Palestine, and you’re gonna come here like it’s good, but you’re pushing that genocidal agenda as a Zionist bro,” the man says.

“Free Palestine,” he shouts. “Say Free Palestine right now on camera, dog. Say it!”

In the clip, Wiener sits awkwardly without responding as the man continues to pepper him with accusations and demands that he say “Free Palestine.”

Wiener previously stopped short of calling Israel’s actions in Gaza a “genocide,” but changed course in January after refusing to call out Israel during a debate.

“For those of you who saw the debate clip from last week, I want to clarify that I do believe Israel has committed genocide in Gaza,” Wiener said at the time. “To me the Israeli government has tried to destroy Gaza and to push Palestinians out. And that qualifies as genocide.”

Wiener will face off against Chan, a San Francisco supervisor, in the November election. Chan has also called Israel’s actions in Gaza a “genocide.”

U.S. Congressional candidate Scott Wiener was harassed by a Free Palestine activist. 🇺🇸

Scott, who is Jewish, had changed his stance on Israel, parroting the typical Free Palestine rhetoric, in order to get easy votes.

It turns out, to nobody's surprise, that he still isn't spared from falling under the "Zionist" label that the Free Palestine crowd uses.

Watch live: Rocket Lab launching 'Ten Owl of Ten' mission for Synspective today

Liftoff is scheduled for 12:45 p.m. ET today (June 26).

Rocket Lab is scheduled to launch another Strix satellite for Japanese company Synspective's imaging constellation, in orbit above the island nation.

An Electron rocket will lift off from Rocket Lab's Launch Complex-1 (LC-1) in New Zealand today (June 26), during a window that opens at 12:45 p.m. EDT (1645 GMT; 4:45 a.m. on June 27 local New Zealand time).

As its name suggests, the "Ten Owl of Ten" mission will launch Synspective's 10th synthetic aperture radar (SAR) satellite, which will expand the company's network above Japan to provide imaging data for use in city planning, monitoring infrastructure and responding to natural disasters.

You can watch it here at Space.com, courtesy of Rocket Lab, as well as on the company's website. Coverage is expected to begin about 30 minutes before the opening of the launch window.

The launch will be Rocket Lab's 12th so far in 2026, and the ninth for Electron this year (the other flights were performed by the HASTE rocket, a suborbital variant of Electron).

Electron, Rocket Lab's workhorse small-lift launch vehicle, stands 59 feet (18 meters) tall and can launch payloads weighing up to 661 pounds (300 kilograms) to low Earth orbit (LEO).

Synspective has booked Electron to launch the entirety of its Strix constellation, with 17 more on the rocket's manifest expected to launch before 2030. The satellites are named after a genus of owls, drawing inspiration from the birds' visual acuity.

Like their namesake, the Strix satellites' SAR antennas allow the spacecraft to collect Earth-observation data in every lighting condition (and also through cloud cover, which the birds can't quite match).

Each Strix satellite weighs about 220 pounds (100 kg), and stretches to 16.4 feet (5 meters) wide with its SAR antenna fully deployed. Each satellite has an on-orbit lifespan of about five years, according to Synspective's website.

The spacecraft cruise in LEO between 15 and45 degrees of inclination.

Electron will deliver the "Ten Owls of Ten" Strix to an inclination of 42 degrees, at a LEO altitude of 343 miles (552 kilometers).

Electron's second stage will separate about 2 minutes, 40 seconds after liftoff today, with the third or "kick" stage taking over about nine minutes into flight. Payload separation is expected about 45 minutes later, around T+1 hour after liftoff.

Watch a 'Potentially hazardous asteroid' the size of a skyscraper close in on Earth live online tonight

June 26, 2026

A giant asteroid roughly the size of a skyscraper will pass within seven lunar distances of Earth on June 27. Here's how to watch the rare flyby during two livestreams on June 26 and June 27.

How can I watch the flyby online?

The Virtual Telescope Project will host two YouTube livestreams starting at 7 p.m. EDT (2300 GMT) on June 26 and 27, before and after asteroid 1997 NC1's closest approach to Earth.

Each event will feature live views of the asteroid captured by a suite of robotic telescopes in Manciano, Italy, weather permitting.

"While this encounter is absolutely no cause for concern, it will be a very important and interesting opportunity," Virtual Telescope Project founder Gianluca Masi said in a press release sent to Space.com.

"An asteroid of this size comes this close roughly once every ten years, becoming bright enough to be easily visible through small telescopes while it crosses the starry sky."

The asteroid designated 152637 1997 NC1 will make its closest approach to Earth at 7:16 a.m. EDT (1116 GMT) on June 27, when it will pass 1,594,339 miles (2,565,839 kilometers) from our planet, whipping by at 19,879 mph (31,992 km/h), according to NASA.

With an estimated diameter of 1,443 feet (440 meters), 1997 NC1's size and potential to pass close to Earth during future orbits have led to it being designated as a potentially hazardous asteroid by NASA.

However, it will pose zero risk to our planet, or the moon during this week's flyby.

How can I see 1997 NC1 with my own telescope?

A pair of 10x50 binoculars or a small 4-inch telescope should be enough to reveal the asteroid as a point of light shifting through the stars of the constellation Ophiuchus on the night of the close approach, according to Masi.

1997 NC1 will reach a peak brightness, or magnitude of +10 at 8 p.m. EDT on June 27 (0000 GMT on June 28), marking an ideal time to observe the wandering asteroid.

Magnitude is the scale used by astronomers to measure the apparent brightness of an object in the night sky. The lower the number, the brighter the object!

The streams will occur shortly before World Asteroid Day — an annual United Nations-backed event held on June 30 to raise awareness of the threat posed by potential asteroid strikes.

The date was chosen to coincide with the anniversary of the Tunguska impact of 1908, when an asteroid exploded over Siberia, flattening millions of trees in an 830 square mile (2,148 sq km) area.

Current Codified Provisions (50 U.S.C. §§ 841–844)These sections have not been repealed:§ 841 (Findings and declarations of fact): This is a congressional declaration that the Communist Party of the United States is an instrumentality of a conspiracy to overthrow the government, an authoritarian dictatorship, etc., and concludes that it "should be outlawed." It has no direct enforcement power but serves as a statement of policy/purpose.

uscode.house.gov

§ 842 (Proscription of Communist Party, its successors, and subsidiary organizations): Declares that the Communist Party (or successors aiming to overthrow governments by force and violence) is not entitled to the rights, privileges, and immunities of legal bodies under U.S. or state law. Any prior rights granted are terminated. It includes a proviso that it does not amend the Internal Security Act of 1950. This is the core "outlawing" language, primarily affecting the Party's ability to act as a legal entity (e.g., contracts, suing/be sued, bank accounts, ballots in some interpretations).

uscode.house.gov

§ 843: Applies provisions/penalties of the Internal Security Act of 1950 (as amended) to knowing members of the Communist Party or similar organizations aiming to overthrow the government by force/violence, treating them as members of a "Communist-action" organization. Defines "Communist Party."

uscode.house.gov

§ 844: Provides a non-exhaustive list of evidentiary factors (e.g., financial contributions, following orders, distributing propaganda, participating in activities) that a jury may consider (under court instructions) to determine membership, participation, or knowledge of purpose.

uscode.house.gov

Enforceability TodayTheoretical availability: The findings (§841), proscription (§842), and evidentiary rules (§844) are still law. In theory, they could be invoked (e.g., to challenge the legal status of the Party or related groups in specific contexts like ballots, contracts, or organizational rights), and §843 could attempt to trigger remaining Internal Security Act penalties. Harvard law professor Mark Tushnet has noted it could potentially be applied against the Party or qualifying organizations.

Space Command relocation fight returns to federal court

Jun. 25, 2026 at 8:54 PM PDT|Updated: 13 hours ago

The fight over the future home of U.S. Space Command is heading back to court.

The Colorado Springs Chamber of Commerce is asking a federal judge for permission to weigh in on Colorado’s lawsuit challenging the Trump administration’s decision to move Space Command headquarters to Huntsville.

Alabama Attorney General Steve Marshall also filed an amicus brief urging the U.S. District Court to dismiss Colorado’s lawsuit.

The relocation has been contentious across two administrations. President Trump picked Huntsville as the new home for Space Command in the final days of his first term.

President Biden canceled that order and decided to keep the headquarters in Colorado Springs. When Trump returned to the White House, he again declared Space Command should relocate to Redstone Arsenal.

There are currently two U.S. Space Command facilities on Redstone Arsenal. The permanent headquarters is set to break ground in late 2027.

Europe feels the heat beneath our feet

25/06/2026

An exceptional heatwave is affecting countries across western Europe, with cities and regions of France, Spain and southern Italy experiencing unseasonal temperatures.

This image of land surface temperature was captured by the Copernicus Sentinel-3 mission on Wednesday, 23 June. The data were captured in the late morning, local time.

You can watch a video about this image here.

The colours shown on the image range from purples and deep reds (indicating surface temperatures up to 55ºC, seen in parts of central Spain, western France and northern Africa) to light blues that indicate lower surface temperatures in mountainous regions.

Some areas were covered by cloud – shown in white.

The satellite sensed temperatures on land of 48ºC in Madrid, 44ºC in Rome and 46ºC in both Poitiers in France and Zaragoza in Spain.

The ground temperatures in northern Africa are visibly higher, with temperatures on the ground in Tunis reaching 49ºC. Because surfaces such as rock, sand and asphalt retain the heat, ground temperatures are considerably higher than air temperatures.

Sentinel-3 carries four instruments, including its Sea and Land Surface Temperature Radiometer (SLSTR) – a powerful and highly accurate sensor that measures temperatures over both land and sea.

It detects heat stress over land and its data are used in agriculture as well as monitoring urban heat islands and wildfires.

The current European heatwave is caused by an atmospheric pattern of persistent high pressure – a ‘heat dome’ – which is trapped over Europe between low pressure systems on each side.

Summer heat in Europe is not normally associated with El Niño and therefore, although satellite data have detected early signs of the El Niño phenomenon in the Pacific Ocean, it is not the driver behind the current temperatures in Europe.

Kaiser Permanente pays over $350k for forcing religious employees to take COVID shots

Kaiser Permanente, one of the largest healthcare systems in the US, also agreed to undergo religious freedom training after investigations by the Trump administration.

This month, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) revealed that Kaiser had been facing 12 different discrimination charges stemming from its refusal to make religious accommodations for employees objecting to that mandate. The EEOC found that Kaiser locations in multiple states were likely in violation of employees’ civil rights.

Day 133, orbit 2063 — In this timelapse, I’m retrieving the fourth sample printed with the first 3D metal printer ever sent to space, ESA’s Metal 3D printer… and getting everything ready for the next printing session!

Before opening the printer, the procedure requires putting on safety goggles and a mask, just in case there are any floating nanoparticles.

3D printers are far from being simple gadgets. They aim at increasing crew autonomy, which will be even more crucial during future exploration missions, when resupply will be far more difficult than it is in low Earth orbit.

With 3D printing, we could manufacture spare parts 🔩 or tools 🔧 on demand!

On Earth, this printer weighs about 180 kg. In orbit, it weighs nothing – but its mass hasn’t disappeared. When I handled it, its inertia made it very clear that it is heavy 😉

Full disclosure: as often happens in extreme environments, emotions are heightened… I felt a huge sense of joy using this electric screwdriver, which we very rarely use onboard the ISS.

Since I love tinkering, it genuinely made me really, really happy 😃 haha! It reminded me of what I love doing back on Earth!

Chamber Hidden Beneath The Lincoln Memorial Opens After 100 Years

Paris ApodacaJune 25, 2026

The LincolnMemorial’s hidden 15,000-square-foot chamber opens to the public Thursday after a century-long closure.

The chamber — located beneath the Lincoln Memorial on the National Mall — had sat vacant since the 1920s akin to a “two-story shopping mall” with 122 giant concrete pillars, according to Fox News.

The memorial’s undercroft features interactive exhibits, construction tools left in 1920 and preserved vandalism from the original construction, the outlet reported.

The Lincoln Memorial Undercroft opens tomorrow, unveiling a space hidden beneath one of America’s most iconic landmarks since 1922. 🎉

Step inside and see how it was built, preserved, and what it means. Timed-entry tickets now available: https://t.co/FTjaB7Ksbopic.twitter.com/YEhaHV02Uz

— US Department of the Interior (@Interior) June 24, 2026

Among theartifacts in the undercroft exhibit are original copies of the Emancipation Proclamation and the 13th Amendment bearing President Abraham Lincoln’s signature, according to Fox News. The new construction project was funded with $26 million of federal fundsand $48 million from the National ParkFoundation.

“Beyond its physical foundations, the undercroft tells the story of how the Lincoln Memorial evolved into America’s ‘civic stage,'” Moore told Fox News.

The opening of the undercroft follows President Donald Trump’s sweeping renovations to the memorial’s iconic Reflecting Pool and the ensuing peeling paint and pro-algae protests.

Donald J. Trump

I will be speaking at 1:30 P.M. to The Faith and Freedom Coalition, and one of the Statements I will be making, perhaps the most important of them all, concerns the recent Election of Communists in our Country. Communism is very easy to sell. I’d be the Greatest Communist in History. I’d give free rent, free houses, free food, everything is free. Unfortunately, after two or three years, the Country where this is taking place would fail. It always does, and then you’ll start living in squalor. There will be no food, there will be no housing, there will be no Military, there will be no nothing. You’ll be Third World every way, and everyone will suffer or die. I’m sorry to say, but Assassinations of those who oppose them is a very important element of their Ideology. They’re animals! In many cases, not smart but, in some cases, they are. It’s easy for them to get followers because they make promises that they know they can’t keep, and the Dumocrats aren’t fighting back. In many ways, they’re allowing them to go their own way. They’re afraid they will lose their Election, they’re afraid of conflict. They’re not smart enough or tough enough to fight this plague. If they fought them the way they fight Republicans, or me, they’d be victorious, but they don’t have the courage to do so. These are not social Dumocrats, these are hard core, godless Communists. This is the most serious threat to our Country since its existence 250 years ago. Isn’t it ironic, we’re celebrating a very important Birthday, and instead of speaking about Christ, Freedom, and Victories of all different kinds, we’re speaking about yet another threat to the Foundations of America. These ruthless Communists will attack all Religions but, in particular, Christianity – They always do. All Communist Countries attack Religions violently. As you know, we recently struck Nigeria, and largely ended the slaughter of their Great Christian population. They know that if they go further, the attack will be far greater and, in that, they don’t want to get involved. I am saving Christians throughout the World, even though we are not in those various Countries, by hitting these Terrorists violently and hard. They will close your Churches, they will kill your people. This is what they’re about. This is the Greatest Threat to our Country since its Founding 250 years ago! President DONALD J. TRUMP

Common Sense with Dr. Ben Carson

What AI Can Never Replace: Inspiring Stories of Hope & Faith — Two Brain Surgeons Discuss

Will AI replace doctors? Artificial intelligence is transforming medicine faster than ever before, but can it truly replace the knowledge, judgment, and compassion of a human physician?

In this deeply personal conversation, Dr. Ben Carson sits down with fellow pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Alan Cohen to explore the limits of technology and the power of the human spirit. Beyond the algorithms, they share moving stories of medical miracles and the role that faith plays in the operating room.

Together they discuss:

The "Human Touch": Why technology can never replicate empathy and compassion.

Stories of Hope: Real-life miracles that defied medical expectations.

Healing vs. Treating: The vital difference between fixing a body and healing a person.

"Vitamin H": How humor and faith are essential tools for a great physician.

Federal Law Enforcement Veteran and Counter-Drone Pioneer Erik Modisett Dies at 50

June 26, 2026

Erik Modisett, a U.S. Navy veteran, longtime federal law enforcement professional, and a key figure in the development of the nation’s counter-unmanned aircraft systems (C-UAS) enterprise, passed away unexpectedly on June 3, 2026, at the age of 50.

Born on July 15, 1975, in Kokomo, Indiana, and raised in Windfall, Modisett graduated from Tri-Central High School in 1993 before earning a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Purdue University and a master’s degree in International Relations from The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University.

His career in public service spanned nearly three decades. After serving in the U.S. Navy during Operation Desert Storm, Modisett joined the Federal Air Marshal Service before becoming a pilot with U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s Air and Marine Operations.

Throughout his career, he earned a reputation for professionalism, integrity, and dedication to protecting the nation.

Within the homeland security community, Modisett played a significant role in helping establish the federal government’s counter-drone capabilities.

He was among the small group of professionals responsible for developing and implementing many of the policies, operational authorities, and capabilities that underpin the United States’ modern C-UAS framework.

His work contributed to counter-drone authority implementation across the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice, informed the President’s National Counter-UAS Action Plan, supported the development of the SAFER SKIES Act, and helped advance efforts to strengthen counter-drone capabilities for state, local, tribal, and territorial partners.

Modisett also founded and led the Center for Air and Marine Drone Exploitation (CAMDEx), DHS’s dedicated drone forensics laboratory, creating a capability designed to support investigations involving unmanned aircraft systems and strengthen the department’s technical expertise in drone exploitation.

Following his retirement from federal service, Modisett had recently accepted a position as Assistant Professor in Purdue University’s School of Applied and Creative Computing, where he was preparing to begin teaching his first students later this year.

Friends and colleagues also remembered his lifelong passion for aviation and travel. A licensed pilot, he visited six of the world’s seven continents while combining his love of flying with a career dedicated to national security.

His legacy spans military service, federal law enforcement, aviation, and the evolution of America’s counter-drone mission, while the capabilities he helped establish continue to support homeland security efforts across the country.

NATO member admits ‘no evidence’ for Russian drone hysteria

A nine-month investigation in Denmark has failed to prove that reported flying objects were actually drones

26 Jun, 2026 14

Danish police say they have found no evidence that flying objects which shut down Copenhagen Airport last year were drones, concluding a nine-month investigation into an incident initially treated as an alleged Russian attack.

Danish airports repeatedly suspended flights in September 2025 after reports of suspected drones near the airfields. Copenhagen Airport was forced to halt operations for several hours after objects were reported flying near the runway, disrupting commercial air traffic and triggering a major police investigation.

At the time, Danish authorities claimed Russia may have been behind the incidents, despite presenting no evidence. In May, Russian Ambassador to Denmark Vladimir Barbin said Copenhagen had failed to produce any proof that drones had entered Danish airspace during the alleged incursions.

Police said on Thursday they could neither prove nor disprove that drones had been operating in the vicinity of Copenhagen Airport. “We cannot demonstrate that there was drone activity in and around the airport,” Chief Police Soren Thomassen told reporters. No suspects were identified and the investigation has been closed, he said.

According to Thomassen, there was unexplained activity in the airspace that evening, but none of the evidence gathered over nine months conclusively showed the objects were drones.

Police said they had reviewed witness statements, photographs, videos, CCTV footage, radar data, and extensive records of air and maritime traffic. Despite the exhaustive inquiry, investigators were unable to establish what the objects were.

One radar detected an object traveling at around 100 kph over the Oresund Strait. However, Dutch manufacturer Robin Radar later told investigators that the bird radar installed at Copenhagen Airport was not designed to detect drones.

Danish officials claimed the alleged drone flights were carried out by a “skilled operator.” Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen later escalated the rhetoric, calling the incident a “hybrid attack on critical Danish infrastructure.”

The case had begun to unravel long before Thursday’s announcement. Within hours of the airport shutdown, open-source investigators concluded that a widely circulated video appeared to show a training aircraft rather than a drone, according to Dronewatch portal. An internal memo later reportedly revealed that air traffic controllers had not observed any drones during the incident, while police acknowledged in March that the credibility of a key witness had come under scrutiny.

Earlier this week, investigators also said the first completed police probes into other alleged drone sightings reported across Denmark in the autumn of 2025 had likewise found no evidence of hostile or unauthorized drone activity.

UFO transparency at the heart of Disclosure Forum

Updated: Jun 25, 2026 / 07:18 PM CDT

Lawmakers and whistleblowers continued a push for transparency on UFOs at Thursday’s Disclosure Forum, exploring the ways it could change the country and people’s lives.

The forum featured panel discussions on issues around UAPs, including the congressional push for transparency, national security implications and the economic and religious impact of sightings.

Missing scientists and disclosure

Speculation has swirled around possible connections between a number of missing and dead scientists, some of whom are said to have connections to UAP research.

Pippa Malgren noted that it seems unlikely that so many people would disappear under normal circumstances and that this could hinder disclosure and create uncertainty for financial markets.

Would disclosure crash the markets?

Panelists discussed the impact of UFO disclosure on the economy, rejecting the assertion that the markets would panic if evidence of extraterrestrial life were disclosed.

The impact of stigma on UAP investigation

Jennice Vilhauer noted that stigma about the subject of UFOs can limit people from coming forward with information, thus limiting investigation into UAPs.

It can also impact the responses and care people receive who have had UAP encounters, including medical care.

Psychological impact of disclosure will rely on institutional choices

Vilhauer noted that the psychological impact will depend on the trustworthiness of those providing information and how much confidence people have in the institutions releasing information.

Vilhauer noted that, according to survey data, most people do not perceive UAPs as relevant to their daily lives and do not think they are threatening.

Would the existence of aliens conflict with religion?

Regarding monotheistic religion, Carlos Eire examined the existence of extraterrestrial life and how it might intersect with religion.

The holy grail of UAP evidence

Harvard University astrophysicist Avi Loeb said evidence that could be used to prove whether UAPs are extraterrestrial in origin could include detailed satellite imagery and material that can be tested to determine whether it is of Earth origin.

The importance of scientific inquiry

“We should keep our eye on the orbs, not the audience,” Loeb said.

The audience he referred to was people speculating on the nature of UAPs as he emphasized the need for scientists to collect data and investigate before sharing findings with the public.

“If we have a neighbor, it will not depend on what people say about it on social media,” he said.

Loeb also said that if it turns out UAPs are human-made, scientific investigation will still be worthwhile because it will have helped answer the question.

Key EU states oppose travel ban for Russian veterans – Bloomberg

France and Italy reportedly fear that the measure proposed byBrussels could become a blanket restriction on all Russian citizens

Published 26 Jun, 2026 11:15

France and Italy have pushed back against an EU proposal to ban Russian servicemen and veterans from entering the bloc, warning that the measure is legally unclear and difficult to enforce, Bloomberg has reported, citing diplomatic sources.

Moscow has denounced the proposal as “paranoid,” while critics inside the EU reportedly fear it could morph into a broader entry ban on Russian citizens and affect more than 1.3 million people, including conscripts that did not participate in the conflict.

The restriction is being discussed as part of the EU’s proposed 21st sanctions package over the Ukraine conflict. European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen has said the bloc should bar Russians who have served in the military since February 2022, framing it as a security issue.

Paris and Rome, however, have argued that the current wording is too broad and that the measure should be handled through visa policy rather than sanctions, according to Bloomberg’s anonymous sources.

The two countries have questioned how the ban would work in practice, since national authorities would have to somehow determine whether individual Russian applicants had served in the military or taken part in the fighting in Ukraine.

France and Italy process some of the highest numbers of Russian arrivals in the EU. Euronews reported that France recorded just under 180,000 arrivals from Russia in 2025, while Italy had around 160,000.

EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas has claimed that Brussels has intelligence on all Russians who have participated in the conflict and could blacklist them by name. Asked earlier this month how the ban would be implemented, she said: “I am not an expert, but experts say it is possible.”

The dispute comes as the EU struggles to finalize another sanctions package targeting Russia’s energy, finance, trade, and shipping sectors. The package faces disagreements over the Russian oil price cap, restrictions on LNG-linked ‘shadow fleet’ vessels, fish imports, critical minerals, and third-country companies accused of helping Moscow obtain restricted goods.

Several EU governments have increasingly questioned whether more sanctions are practical or risk hurting member states more than Russia. Bulgaria recently warned Brussels against measures that are mostly symbolic or damaging to EU economies, while Slovakia and Hungary have repeatedly called for restoring dialogue with Moscow.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova has said the proposedtravel ban shows that EU officials “do not know what else to invent.” She described the measure as “openly paranoid” and said the bloc’s sanctions policy is increasingly harming third countries as well as Europeans themselves.

Volkswagen CEO Plans 100,000 Job Cuts In Generational Overhaul

German business news outlet Manager Magazin reports that Volkswagen CEO Oliver Blume is eyeing a major restructuring that could eliminate as many as 100,000 jobs. The latest VW earnings show just why: Europe's largest automaker remains bloated in a world of weak demand, a softening Chinese market, rising Chinese competition in Europe, and low margins.

"Volkswagen CEO Oliver Blume is getting serious. He plans to drastically intensify job cuts, actually phase out production at four German plants, and spin off the VW brand into a new company. Volkswagen is to become a new company," Manager Magazin wrote in the report.

If fully implemented, the 100,000-job reduction would eliminate about 15% of Volkswagen's current global workforce of 650,000. Bloomberg data shows VW went on a hiring spree between 2008 and 2020.

Now, it appears a generational high has been reached in VW's workforce, as a shift toward efficiency, automation, and AI could soon result in massive job losses. We're sure lefty unions will be furious.

Manager Magazin also noted that Blume plans 11 billion euros in cost cuts by 2030, which could include spinning off component operations and the core VW brand.

The restructuring plan will be presented to the supervisory board next month and is expected to face intense resistance from labor unions and Lower Saxony lawmakers, who hold significant influence over the company's governance.

The urgency behind a restructuring stems from deteriorating earnings: its first-quarter revenue fell 2.5% to 75.7 billion euros, while operating profit dropped 14.3% to 2.46 billion euros, and the operating margin slipped to 3.3% from 3.7%. Earnings after tax fell 28.4% to 1.56 billion euros, while vehicle sales fell 6.9%, and deliveries were down 4%.

A Volkswagen spokesperson told the Hamburg-based outlet that the struggling car company "must undergo profound change." The executive board "has been working intensively over the past few months on a future-oriented plan to realign the company."

Shares in Germany slipped 34 basis points following the report and remain down 25% on the year. The stock is trading at 2010 levels...

Ukraine Launches Major Series of Drone Strikes on Mainland Russia

Russian air defenses intercepted 660 Ukrainian drones in a major nighttime attack on 12 Russian regions as well as the Russia-held Crimean peninsula, the Black Sea and the Azov Sea, Russia’s Defense Ministry said Friday.

It appeared to be one of the biggest drone attacks on Russia and the illegally annexed Crimea since Russia´s full-scale invasion of Ukraine more than four years ago. The previous biggest Ukrainian attack over the past year was 556 drones on May 17.

In an effort to turn the tables on Russia´s grinding war of attrition, Ukrainian long-range drones have for months been battering targets, including oil production and energy facilities, behind the front line and deep inside Russia. The campaign has choked Russian fuel supplies and military deliveries, stalling Moscow’s efforts on the battlefield, Western officials and analysts say, and heaped pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Initial damage reports from Russia after the overnight attack provided scant information. Russia’s Defense Ministry usually doesn’t say what was targeted in Ukraine’s drone attacks, nor does it detail any damage.

Ukraine’s Security Service said it used drones to strike Russian navy ships and air defense radars in Kerch, an important port city in Crimea.

The targets were two reconnaissance and mine-laying ships, the Volga and the Vyatka, and the cargo-passenger ferry Petropavlovsk, the agency said, claiming that the strikes started a large fire. The claim could not be independently verified.

The major attack came hours after Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on X that he had ordered “a 40-day influence operation,” believed to mean an escalation of attacks, aimed at “compelling (Russia) to end the war” after U.S. peace efforts over the past year yielded no breakthrough.

The successful strikes, including hitting targets in Moscow and St. Petersburg, have buoyed Ukraine.

Zelenskyy said he got further promises of foreign support when he attended a recent summit of G7 leaders, including from U.S. President Donald Trump, and that the promised aid will help Ukraine step up its effort to force Putin to the negotiating table.

A NATO summit next month could be another key moment in beefing up Ukraine’s military.

The Rape Gang Inquiry Report: The state not only ignored whistle-blowers; it punished them

"...but we demand anyone using any form of social media give us all of their details because we want to protect the children - really." - Official Drowning Street Souce

On 16 June 2026, the Inquiry released its report. “The Rape Gang Inquiry has now concluded the first phase of its work,” the report states, and notes the “next steps” on page 179. “This report sets out findings and makes clear recommendations for how the problem of rape gangs can be eradicated.”

“Every witness who volunteered their testimony – whether survivor, parent, whistle-blower, politician or expert – showed courage that made this Inquiry possible,” the report acknowledged.

“Police forces ignored repeated reports, criminalised victims instead of perpetrators, destroyed evidence, and allowed known rapists to walk free on bail. Social care services undermined protective parents, placed children in trafficking hubs inside children’s homes, closed cases despite clear indicators of exploitation, and retaliated against whistle-blowers.”

Speaking of abusive police action. Not only have police criminalised the victims, but there have been instances where police have targeted parents while they are trying to rescue their children from the rape gangs:

Marines Engage in Multiple Firefights Defending U.S. Embassy in Haiti

The Marines once again proved why they are the backbone of American resolve overseas.

According to Col. Tom “Banshee” Trimble, commanding officer of the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit (Special Operations Capable), U.S. Marines deployed to Haiti were repeatedly engaged in firefights while defending the U.S. Embassy in Port-au-Prince from violent gangs that have turned the capital city into a warzone.

Trimble told reporters that the Marines were fired upon multiple times and returned fire “on several occasions” during their 10-month deployment.

“There were multiple engagements at the embassy in Haiti, in which we received and returned fire,” he stated, making it very clear that the Marines didn’t back down for a second.

From August to December 2025, the 22nd MEU was positioned in Haiti to secure the embassy as gangs overran nearly 90 percent of the capital.

Port-au-Prince is now in the grip of organized crime and chaos, but American Marines stood their ground under pressure, protecting U.S. diplomats and personnel in one of the most volatile environments in the Western Hemisphere.

Trimble emphasized that while the engagements were intense, no Marines were injured or killed — a testament, he said, to their training, discipline, and clear understanding of the rules of engagement.

TGP EXCLUSIVE: “It’s Not Political. It’s Just Science” – Greenwater Services Spox Explains How Their Company is Killing Algae in the Reflecting Pool as Democrats Lose It 1/2

by Jordan Conradson Jun. 25, 2026 7:00 p

The algae in the Reflecting Pool has been almost completely removed despite liberal activists’ best efforts to impede the removal of algae and destroy the pool’s renovations.

Greenwater Services was contracted in April by theDepartment of the Interior for the “procurement and installation of a fully integrated Nano Bubble Filtration System designed to replace the existing, failing filtration infrastructure at the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool.”

But the company has come under fire from left-wing media outlets, who claim a conflict of interest because a part-owner of the company is a GOP donor, and that the company has a lack of expertise in filtration systems.

During a recent appearance on CNN, Democratic strategist Ameshia Cross clashed with CNN contributor Scott Jennings over the project. Cross went off, attacking Trump over the algae in the stagnant Reflecting Pool and the choice of contractor, claiming that Trump “flushed our money down the drain and continues to do so.”

“This guy chose someone who didn’t even have a background in it, in the beautification he sought to begin with,” Cross said, crediting Trump for the Department of the Interior’s choice to hire Greenwater Services. “This is somebody who he knew personally because of his Mar-a-Lago connections, but not someone who was able to do exactly what anybody else– I worked at the EPA, knew that algae was going to come. You don’t necessarily have to be a science-minded person to know what was going to happen.”

However, in an exclusive interview with The Gateway Pundit on Wednesday,Greenwater Services spokeswoman Erin Kramer explained how they've turned the algae-infested pool into crystal clear water.

Photos taken on Wednesday show the water is completely free of algae in most places. However, large portions of the bottom have been ripped out, and several people have been arrested for the destruction since last week.

The company, she said, is using "cutting-edge" ozone treatment technology, backed by research from Ohio State University and environmental journals, to pump ozone (O₃) "nano bubbles" throughout the water. "Those go throughout the whole water column, and as they burst, which is natural, it kills the algae, andthen the sediment floats to the bottom, so it leaves behind crystal clear water with only oxygen as the byproduct," Kramer said.

"So, you're actually adding oxygen to the water, which is great, so that's why you can see the bottom of the pool really well, and what you see on the bottom is the sediment," she continued. "If we were doing this in a river or a lake, it would get reabsorbed into the environment. Here, it can get vacuumed up, but that's what you see happening here today."

Kramer further likened it to a "fish bubbler on steroids."

She also responded to allegations that wildlife is being killed by the algae removal after an image of a dead duckling in the pool went viral across the internet recently. TMZ claims, "A dead duck was found floating in the Reflecting Pool Sunday ...days after workers were seen dumping hydrogen peroxide into the water." Of course, Hydrogen peroxide (H₂O₂) is a common pool treatment, with just one more oxygen atom than pure water (H₂O).

Kramer assured us that the process is "completely chemical-free" and "does not create an environment that would hurt wildlife." In fact, "Most of our work is done in nature. Most of our work is done in rivers and lakes, and it can be done in ponds," she said. "So, it is meant to be very environmentally sustainable."

Moments later, we saw a mother duck and her brood completely healthy in the water.

"It's a really new technology, but it's being used, as I mentioned, in different environments across the country, and to me, what this means for this historic landmark is you're really putting in some very cutting-edge environmental technology here," Kramer added. "And it's not political, it's just science."

One would think the liberal environmentalist crowd would be thrilled to see this technology being used, but they're losing it!

Transcript:

Conradson: Tell us a little bit about what your company's doing here at the Reflecting Pool, and how this project's going.

Kramer: So, we came in to remediate the algae, which you know has been a long-time problem. What the technology does is we use an ozone treatment technology, so it takes regular o2, we turn it into o3, it gets pumped into the pool. That ozone there in the little nano-bubbles that you've probably heard about, because they're nano bubbles, those go throughout the whole water column, and as they burst, which is natural, it kills the algae, and then the sediment floats to the bottom, so it leaves behind crystal clear water with only oxygen as the byproduct.

So, you're actually adding oxygen to the water, which is great, so that's why you can see the bottom of the pool really well, and what you see on the bottom is the sediment. And so, if we were doing this in a river or a lake, it would get reabsorbed into the environment. Here, it can get vacuumed up, but that's what you see happening here today.

Conradson: It's completely clear. I’m not seeing any algae floating around. What has the issue been with algae? Because I'm, I'm reading reports, I'm seeing CNN nightly broadcasts where they're talking about, “Oh, the pool is full of algae, it's disgusting, Trump failed the job.” What's actually going on?

Kramer:I think first of all, you need up to date pictures. I think anyone who comes to the pool today sees how clear it looks. The most important thing is that the system continues to run, so if it stops, algae will grow back, and then you will just need to continue pumping the ozone infused water in, so it's really very simple. We are just about done putting up the permanent structure, and the only thing you need to do this, besides the technology, is air. It's that simple!

Conradson: Yeah, another thing I'm hearing is something about carbon dioxide or some kind of chemicals being put in the water. Is that true?

Kramer:You don't need any chemicals in this process. It is the most effective way to do this. It's completely chemical-free, and as I mentioned, the only byproduct is oxygen.

Conradson: They're freaking out because a duck was found dead in the pool. I didn't know that ducks could die in the wild. What happened there? Could that have been caused by you guys?

Kramer: So, I don't know anything about the duck situation. All I can say is our process, by releasing only oxygen, does not create an environment that would hurt wildlife. Most of our work is done in nature. Most of our work is done in rivers and lakes, and it can be done in ponds. So it is meant to be very environmentally sustainable.

We've been doing this for six or seven years. It's a really new technology, but it's being used, as I mentioned, in different environments across the country, and to me, what this means for this historic landmark is you're really putting in some very cutting-edge environmental technology here. And it's not political, it's just science. And thank you for giving me the opportunity to actually talk about it.

Five Years After the COVID-19 Shot Mandate Destroyed His Career, Former U.S. Space Force Officer Returns to Duty. 1/2

By J.M. Phelps Jun. 26, 2026

After almostfive years of grappling with the consequences of his objection to the military’s 2021 COVID-19 shot mandate, a former Space Force officer had his career reinstated on Friday.

The Gateway Pundit spoke toJoshua Zermeno, a military officerwho dedicated a significant portion ofhis 13-year career to the field of space superiority within the U.S. Space Force(USSF).

On June 26, 2026, Captain Zermeno was the first officer reinstated into the Department of the Air Force and USSF, once again taking the oath to “support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.”

This great commitmentremained in effect for him even while not in uniform for the past five years.

“Returning to service under President Trump’s Executive Order 14184 is profoundly meaningful to me,” he expresses.

“This opportunity has surprisingly turned into the pinnacle and defining moment of my career. It allows me to fully commit myself once more to serving our nation, complete the work I began over a decade ago, and teach my children the importance of resilience and dedication to principles.”

Zermeno is set to report for duty on July 26 in Colorado Springs, Colorado. As this date nears, he shares, “I am profoundly grateful and honored to once again wear the uniform and uphold my oath.”

For Zermeno, the journey to reach this point was long and challenging. He enlisted in the Air Force in 2010. After serving as a mechanic for B-52 strategic bombers for several years, he was able toleverage his mechanical engineering degree to apply for Officer Training School (OTS).

Upon completing OTS, Zermeno was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the Air Force and started Undergraduate Pilot Training (UPT). He graduatedsecond in his class in 2015and was subsequently assigned to RC-135 reconnaissance aircraft operations.

In 2018, he was presented with another career shiftopportunity and assigned to the 1st Air and Space Test Squadron at Vandenberg SFB. He began working with rockets, collaborating with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), SpaceX, and various other organizations focused on space exploration. In 2021, he was among the first officers to be commissioned into the United States Space Force. However, 2021 also marked the year when all his hard-earned achievements were stripped away.

Zermeno raised concerns about the military’s August 2021 COVID-19 shot mandateissued by then-Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, challenging its “efficacy and legality.” As a result, he received three Letter of Reprimands (LORs), an Article 15, and multiple“Do Not Promote,”recommendations which hindered his advancement to the rank of major.

In October 2021, he sought to leavethe military voluntarily, but he was informed thathis separation was “not in the best interest of the Air Force and Space Force.” Following this communication, base leadership barred him from entering government buildings and.took action against him under the Uniform Code of Military Justice(UCMJ).

Although the COVID-19 shot mandate was lifted in January 2023, hewas overlooked for promotion for the second time solely for shot refusal—a career killer.

He was forcedto involuntarily separate from the USSF on August 31, 2023.However, President Donald Trump’s January 2025 Executive Orderaimed at reinstating service members discharged due to the shot mandate compelled him to take action and make and attempt to return to service.

After an18-month strugglewith the Department of the Air Force’s Reinstatement process and the Board for the Correction of Military Records (BCMR)—an administrative authority many consider largely ineffective and abureaucracythat sidelines Trump’s intent—he succeeded in making his return.

In spite ofTrump’s Executive Order thatwould “allow those service members reinstated…to return to their previous rank and receive full back pay, benefits, bonus payments, or compensation,” this has not been the case for Zermeno and many others who have been reinstated. The reinstatement process entails detailed stipulations that diminish any back pay by deducting all civilian earnings accrued during the period of separation. In reality, only individuals who had no income after their service ended qualify for the full back pay.

The Board’s determination declares: “He is entitled to all related back pay, benefits, and entitlements, less any necessary offsets resulting from the aforementioned corrections to his record.”

“Although receiving backpay would have alleviated some of the considerable personal and financial hardships my family faced due to two years of military punishment and the difficulties of adjusting to civilian life, being reinstated holds far greater importancefor me than any monetary compensation==.

I was determined to return to dutyno matter what, even if the backpay amounted to nothing,” Zermeno remarked.

This determination is echoed in Zermeno’s reflection on the situation, as he admitted, “The COVID-19 mandate stands as one of the most significant mistakes in military history and should not be forgotten.” He further emphasized, “The repercussions of this mandate are still being felt by service members,” noting that, “it adversely affected tens of thousands of service members.”

Many, like him, have been left pursuing reinstatementover an order that was deemed “unlawful as implemented.”

Fortunately, he has successfully endured the fight after a very prolonged struggle and is eager to finish his career, hoping that many others will have the opportunity to do the same.

To preserve the historyof the military’s COVID-19 shot mandate, Zermeno authored the book titled, “DISOBEYING AN UNLAWFUL ORDER: A SPACE FORCE OFFICER’S FIGHT FOR FREEDOM”, in 2025.
