Macron wants to avoid the G6+1 narrativethat has come to define the assembly in the era of Trump because France needs to be seen as a coequal within the group. However,in reality in addition to the USA the only other country that matters in this new geopolitical framework is Japan; all other nations are amess of globalist chaos, domestic political trouble and economy shrinking energy problems.

Two Ohio congresswomen are slamming the FBI over reports that agents onThursday searched the Cleveland offices of the Ohio Organizing Collaborative, an organization that advocates for voting and labor rights and against outsized corporate power.(vote cheaters)

Agents also reportedly fanned out across the state to interview people who have worked with the collaborative and in some cases seized their electronic devices such as phones and laptops.

The FBI and the U.S. attorney for the Northern District of Ohio didn’t immediately respond to requests for comment.

Prentiss Haney, a board member of the organizing collaborative, confirmed to multiplenews outlets that FBI actions happened on Thursday. He and others with the organization couldn’t immediately be reached.

Ohio Democratic U.S. Rep. Shontel Brown, who represents Cleveland, said her inquiries haven’t been answered, either.

“My office has contacted the FBI demanding information, and I am deeply concernedthat this is an effort to use federal law enforcement to intimidate and halt voter registration and organizing efforts,” she said in a written statement. “This is an unprecedented attack on democracy: these raids must end immediately.”

President Donald Trump has often made false claims of fraud in elections that didn’t go his way. They include the 2020 presidential election, and more recently the California primary election.

With his popularity plummeting, Trump’s unsubstantiated claims of fraud could be used to try to tilt the midterm electionsKEK. Michael Waldman, president and CEO of New York University’s Brennan Center for Justice, said the FBI activities in Cleveland could be a case in point.

“This appears to be an outrageous fishing expedition, an attempt to intimidate people working for democracy in our communities and country,” he said in a written statement. “It is anegregious abuseof law enforcement for political ends, and it fits a pattern of federal inquiries targeting voting infrastructure ahead of the midterm elections. The Ohio Organizing Collaborative are our friends, our allies, and our clients, their contributions to democracy so exemplarythat we honored them with the Brennan Legacy Award. An attack on the Ohio Organizing Collaborative is an attack on every organization working to protect the right to vote.”

“Unfortunately, this appears to be part of a systematic effort by (President Donald) Trump and (Director)Kash Patel’s FBI to attack our elections and perpetuate more myths of voter fraud— all to undermine and challenge any election result that Trump does not agree with. In a written statement, Ohio Democratic U.S. Rep. Emilia Sykes said the FBI action was “an apparent effort to usefederal law enforcement to intimidate community organizers and halt voter registration.

Voter registration and lawful voting by American citizens is not fraud.”

Sykes added, “This egregious federal overreach is another example of coordinated efforts to suppress voting rights and voter registration, and it amounts to an unprecedented attack on our democracy.”

Former Ohio Democratic U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown, who is running against incumbent Ohio Republican U.S. Sen. Jon Husted in November, also said the FBI’s actions were highly disturbing —especially since the agency hasn’t explained what the organizing collaborative is supposed to have done wrong

“Reports of the FBI raiding a voting rights organization in Ohio are deeply disturbing and are a transparent attempt at silencing Ohioans and their ability to vote in free and fair elections,” Sherrod Brown said in a written statement. “Federal law enforcement should never try to intimidate eligible voters from exercising their right to participate in democracy.

He said that the FBI should immediately make public any and all activities around these raids in Ohio.

“For years, Ohio has had safe and secure elections that have been administered in a bipartisan fashion. Any attempt to intimidate Ohio voters is wrong, and will not work. Millions of Ohioans are ready to hold Washington politicians accountable for voting time and again to raise the cost of gas, groceries, and utility bills,” he said.

(The Dems have been running this scam since 2007, so they’ve been getting away with cheating for close to 20 years. Let’s see who starts winning during midterms this year.)

California AG Bonta, Secretary of State sue to block Shasta County's Measure B

SHASTA COUNTY, Calif. — California Attorney General Rob Bonta and Secretary of State Shirley N. Weber have filed a lawsuit seeking to block Shasta County’s Measure B, an election overhaul the state says conflicts with California election law and could disrupt election administration ahead of the November midterm elections.

The lawsuit, filed in the California Third District Court of Appeal, asks the court to act quickly before the new rules could take effect.

State officials argue Measure B exceeds the county’s authority and is preempted by state law, which requires uniform election rules across California. The state says the measure would require voters to present a government-issued photo identification to register to vote and vote in person, eliminate vote-by-mail and most early voting options, mandate hand-counting of ballots, and create a separate county voter registration system disconnected from the state’s uniform system.

Measure B would limit elections to a single in-person Election Day, with limited exceptions for voters with disabilities, members of the military, and U.S. citizens living abroad.

“Measure B is legally indefensible. It directly conflicts with state law and threatens to upend the orderly administration of elections. The stakes are especially high because voters in Shasta County are just months away from casting their ballots in the November midterms,” Bonta said. “We are confident that the law is on our side and that Measure B will be struck down expeditiously. No city or county gets to unilaterally rewrite our election rules.”

Weber said the measure would reverse progress the state has made in election access and security.

U.S. official sees "80-85%" likelihood of Iran deal signing

A senior administration official said they're "80-85%" confident of signing a peace deal with Iran in the coming days — "but it's not 100%."

"I feel very good about the deal. I think the president has gotten to a very good spot," the official told reporters in a call Friday, speaking on condition of anonymity.

"We're not quite at the finish line yet, but we are very close," they added.

"If I were to give you a confidence that we were going to be signing this agreement, I maybe would have said 75% this morning," the official said. "It's probably more like 80-85% now, but it's not 100%." (Nothing is 100%)

"We do expect us to be signing this agreement over the next few days. I can't give you an exact date," the official said.

I'm seeing a lot of fake information about a potential deal to reopen the Strait and end Iran's nuclear weapons program

First, the Iranians are not receiving any cash, and no funds are being released for simply signing a deal or attending a meeting. The deal is structured to ensure that the US and its allies concerns are prioritized,and that if the Islamic Republic of Iran meets its obligations, then economic benefits will flow to them and to the entire region. This deal has the potential to remake the region and lead to lasting peace.

I've noticed a couple of bizarre things in the reporting over the last few hours. First, people who (rightly) said Donald Trump was a historic president a month ago now criticizing a deal based on unconfirmed media reports. Second, people who say you can't trust a word said by the IRGC who apparently believe anonymously sourced social media posts.

The president is going to get us a good outcome, one way or the other.
