Former member of youth-focused Pierce County board charged with rape of infant

A 25-year-old who formerly served on a youth-focused board that provides insight to Pierce County about homelessness and housing instability has been arrested and accused of raping an infant girl.

The defendant is transgender and uses the name Isabelle, according to court documents andherpublic Facebook account. Prosecutors chargedherMonday under the name William Kelso Flournoy IV, accusingherof first-degree rape of a child and sexual exploitation of a minor. A plea of not guilty was entered on Flournoy’s behalf at an arraignment hearing Monday in Superior Court, according to court records. Court Commissioner Barbara McInvaille set bail at $1 million. A defense attorney for Flournoy was not yet listed in court records Wednesday. A police report included in charging documents for the child pornography case said Flournoy’s Facebook account listedherwork position as “Youth Action Board at The REACH Center” from September 2022 to present. The police report was authored in June 2023. The report said Flournoy was in a group photo on the REACH Center’s Facebook page that appeared to be taken in front of the center’s address. The FBI’s Missing and Exploited Children Task Force arrested Flournoy on March 5 aftersheleft a residence on Portland Avenue, according to a police report inherrape case. The report said the residence looked to be a living facility for potentially transient individuals.

The head of the United States' National Counterterrorism Center, Joseph Kent, resigned over the US-Israel war in Iran, saying in a letter to President Donald Trump posted on X on Tuesday that "Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation."

"I cannot in good conscience support the ongoing war in Iran. Iran posed no imminent threat to our nation, and it is clear that we started this war due to pressure from Israel and its powerful lobby," Joseph Kent wrote in a letter to Trump posted on X.

Some experts have said an imminent threat would be required for the United States to launch a war under current law.

Every aspect of Iran’s ability to project regional power is being successfully degraded.

Two weeks into Operation Epic Fury, the dominant narrative has settledinto a comfortable groove: The United States and Israel stumbled into a war without a plan. Iran is retaliating across the region. Oil prices are surging, and the world is facing another Middle Eastern quagmire. US senators have called it a blunder. Cable news has tallied the crises. Commentators have warned of a long war.

The chorus is loud and, in some respects, understandable. War is ugly, and this one has imposed real costs on millions of people across the Middle East, including the city I live in.

But this narrative is wrong. Not because the costs are imaginary, but because thecritics are measuring the wrong things. They are cataloguing the price of the campaign while ignoring the strategic ledger.

When you look at what has actually happened to Iran’s principal instruments of power – its ballistic missile arsenal, its nuclear infrastructure, its air defences, its navy and its proxy command architecture –the picture is not one of US failure. It is one of systematic, phased degradationof a threat that previous administrations allowed to grow for four decades.

I write this from Doha, where Iranian missiles have triggered alerts for residents to take shelter and Qatar Airways has started operating evacuation flights. I lived through four years of war in Baghdad.

I have worked for the US Department of State and advised defence and intelligence agencies in multiple countries. I have no interest in cheerleading for war.

But I have spent my academic career studying how states authorise the use of force through intelligence institutions, and what I see in the current campaign is a recognisable military operation proceeding through identifiable phases against an adversary whose capacity to project power is collapsing in real time.==

An arsenal built over decades, dismantled in days

Iranian ballistic missile launches have fallen by more than 90 percentfrom 350 on February 28 to roughly 25 by March 14, according to publicly available data. Drone launches tell the same story: from more than 800 on Day 1 to about 75 on Day 15.

The figures drawn from US and Iranian military statementsdiffer in detail but converge on the trajectory. Hundreds of Iranian missile launchers have been rendered inoperable. According to some reports, 80 percent of Iran’s capacity to strike Israel has been eliminated.

Iran’s naval assets, fast-attack craft, midget submarines and mine-layingcapabilities are being liquidated. Its air defences have been suppressed to the point at which the US is now flying nonstealth B-1 bombers over Iranian airspace, a decision that signals near-total confidence in air dominance.

The campaign has moved through two distinct phases. The first suppressed Iran’s air defences, decapitated its command and control, and degraded its missile and drone launch infrastructure. By March 2, US Central Command announced local air superiority over western Iran and Tehran, achieved without the confirmed loss of a single American or Israeli combat aircraft.

The second phase, now under way, targets Iran’s defence industrial base: missile production facilities, dual-use research centres and the underground complexes where remaining stockpiles are stored. This is not aimless bombing. It is a methodical campaign to ensure that what has been destroyed cannot be rebuilt.

Iran now faces a strategic dilemma that tightens every day. If it fires its remaining missiles, it exposes launchers that are promptly destroyed. If it conserves them, it forfeits the ability to impose costs of the war. Missile and drone launch data suggest Iran is rationing its remaining capacity for politically timed salvoes rather than sustaining operational tempo.

This is a force managing decline, not projecting strength.

The nuclear threshold that previous US presidents accepted

Much of the criticism of the US-Israeli campaign focuses onits costswhile treating the status quo ante as if it were cost-free.It was not.

Iran entered 2026 with 440kg of uranium enriched to 60 percent purity – enough, if further enriched, for as many as 10 nuclear weapons. Before the June strikes,Tehran was less than two weeks away from enriching enough uranium for one nuclear bomb, according to US intelligence assessments. At that time, the International Atomic Energy Agency acknowledged thatIran’s accumulation of near-weapons-grade material had no clear civilian justification.

The current campaign has damaged further the Natanz nuclear facility. The one in Fordow remains inoperable.The defence industrial facilities that would be needed to reconstitute enrichment capacity are being systematically targeted.

Reasonable people can disagreeabout whether diplomatic alternatives were fully exhausted, the Omani-mediated negotiations in February showed real progress, and there are legitimate questions about whether Washington walked away too soon.

But the critics’ implicit alternative,continued restraintwhile Iran inched towards a nuclear weapon,is the policy that produced the crisis in the first place.Every year of strategic patienceadded centrifuges to the enrichment halls and kilogrammes to the stockpile.

The limits of military force against a nuclear programme are real, and as others have argued elsewhere, strikes can destroy facilities but cannot eliminate knowledge. The 440kg of enriched uranium remains unaccounted for.

A successor regime of any political colourwill inherit a strategic environment in which the case for nuclear deterrencehas been strengthened, not weakened. These are genuine long-term risks. But they are arguments for a comprehensive post-conflict diplomatic architecture, not arguments against the campaign itself.

The Strait of Hormuz: Iran’s wasting asset

The closure of the Strait of Hormuz is dominating the critical commentary. US Senator Chris Murphy has called it evidence that President Donald Trump misjudged Iran’s capacity to retaliate. CNN has describedit as proof that the administration has lost control of the war’s escalation.

The economic pain is real: Oil prices have surged, a record 400 million barrels of oilwill be released from global reserves, and Gulf states are facing drone and missile strikes on their energy infrastructure.

But this framing inverts the strategic logic.Closing the strait was always Iran’s most visible retaliatory card, and always a wasting asset. About 90 percent of Iran’s own oil exports pass through Kharg Island and then the strait.

China, Tehran’s largest remaining economic partner,cannot receive Iranian crude while the strait is shut. Every day the blockade continues, Iran severs its own economic lifeline andalienates the one major power that has consistently shielded it. at the United Nations.

The closure does not just hurt the global economy; it accelerates Iran’s isolation.

Meanwhile, thenaval assetsIran needs to sustain the blockade – fast-attack boats, drones, mines, shore-based antiship missiles . –are being degraded daily. Its naval bases at Bandar Abbas and Chahbahar have been severely damaged.

The question is not whether the strait reopensbut when and whether Iran retains any naval capacity to contest it. Critics compare the challenge of escorting a hundred tankers daily to an impossible logistical burden.

But you do not need to escort tankers through a strait if the adversary no longer has the means to threaten them. That is the operational trajectory.

A proxy network that is fragmenting, not expanding

The regional escalation – Hezbollah resuming attacks on Israel, Iraqi militias striking US bases, Houthis issuing threats in the Red Sea – is cited as the clearest evidence of US-Israeli strategic failure. The war is spreading, the critics say, just as it did in Iraq.This misreads the dynamics of Iran’s alliance network.

My research on how states authorise proxy violence identifies four layers of control: strategic legitimation, operational coordination, financial-logistical distribution and deniability calibration.. The current campaign has disrupted all four simultaneously.

The assassination of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei eliminated the apexof the authorisation pyramid. His son Mojtaba’s appointment as his successor, a dynastic transfer without precedent in the Islamic Republic,signals institutional fragility, not continuity.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC)command structure has been decapitated at multiple levels– the acting defence minister was among those killed.

When proxies launch retaliatory attacks across the region,this is not evidence of an expanding network; it is evidence of predelegated response authority, which is what a centralised command system activateswhen it anticipates its own destruction.

Predelegation is a sign of desperation, not strength. It means thecentre can no longer coordinate. The attacks will continue, but they will become increasingly uncoordinated, strategically incoherent and politically costly for the host states where these groups operate.

Qatar and Bahrain are arresting IRGC operatives. Kuwait and Saudi Arabia are intercepting Iranian drones over their own territory. The regional environment that sustained Iran’s proxy architecture, including the grudging tolerance by Gulf states fearful of Iranian retaliation, is being replaced by active hostility.

Hezbollah is weaker than at any point since 2006, degraded by more than a year of Israeli operations before this campaign began. Iraqi militias retain the ability to launch attacks, but they are doing so into a region where they face increasing isolation.

The Houthis in Yemen possess independent capabilitybut lack the command integrationwith Tehran that transforms militia activity into strategic effect. What thecriticsdescribed as an expanding regional war is betterunderstood as the death spasm of a proxy architecture whose authorising centre has been shattered.

A clear endgame

The most politically potent criticism is that the administration has no endgame. Trump’s own rhetoric has not helped: the oscillation between “unconditional surrender” and hints at negotiation, between regime change and denial of regime change,feeds the impression of strategic incoherence. Only 33 percent of American respondents in a recent Reuters-Ipsos poll said the president had clearly explained the mission’s purpose.

But the endgame is visible in the operational phasing, even if the rhetoric obscures it. The objective is thepermanent degradation of Iran’s ability to project power beyond its bordersthrough missiles, nuclear latency and proxy networks.

Call it strategic disarmament. This is closer to the approach of the Allies to Germany’s industrial war-making capacity in 1944-1945 than to the US war on Iraq in 2003.The analogy is imperfect: Strategic disarmament without occupation requires a verification and enforcement architecture that no one has yet proposed,but the operational logic is the same.

No one is proposing to occupy Tehran. The question is what happens when the bombing stops, and here the critics raise a legitimate concern, which Murphy articulated concisely after a classified briefing: What prevents Iran from restarting production?

The answer requires a post-conflict framework that does not yet exist in public: a verification regime, a diplomatic settlement or a sustained enforcement posture. The administration owes the American public and its regional partners a clear account of what that framework would look like.

But the absence of a public diplomatic blueprint does not mean the military campaign is failing. It means the campaign is ahead of the diplomacy, a sequencing problem, not a strategic one. The military conditions for a durable settlement – Iranian missile capacity too degraded to rebuild quickly, nuclear infrastructure inaccessible, proxy networks fragmented – are being created right now.

None of this minimises the human costs. More than 1,400 civilians have been killed in Iran, a moral burden the US and Israel will carry. Oil price spikes are hurting every economy on Earth. At least 11 US service members have been killed. I live with these sirens every day, as does everyone across the Gulf.The costs are real, they are serious, and any accounting that ignores them is dishonest.

But the critics are making a different error: They are treating the costs of action as if the costs of inaction were zero.They were not. They were measured in the slow accretion of a threat that, left unchecked, would have produced exactly the crisis everyone claims to fear: a nuclear-armed Iran capable of closing the Strait of Hormuz at will, surrounded by proxy forces that could hold the entire region hostage indefinitely.

Seventeen days in, Iran’s supreme leader is dead, his successor is reportedly wounded and every principal instrument of Iranian power projection – missiles, nuclear infrastructure, air defences, the navy, proxy command networks – has been degraded beyond near-term recovery. The campaign’s execution has been imperfect, its public communication poor and its post-conflict planning incomplete. War is never clean. But the strategy – the actual strategy, measured in degraded capabilities rather than cable news cycles – is working.

The Islamic Republic is trying to stop the celebration ofChaharshanbe Suri, the Persian Festival of Firemore aggressively this year than in previous years, using the current atmosphere of war as justification. Some supporters of the regime argue that the festivities should not take place because they put pressure on firefighters and emergency services. But for political and judicial authorities, the real concern appears to be the possibility of losing control over the streets.

People close to the Islamic Republic have suggested that if Chaharshanbe Suri is celebrated at all, it should happen “their way,” for example by burning images of the Israeli Prime Minister or the U.S. President. This approach reflects a clear attempt to maintain a monopoly over public space and street gatherings. As a result, several prosecutors across the country have described the “use of explosives” on this night as an “act disturbing national security,” warning that “any kind of noise is a crime and will be dealt with severely.” Authorities have even sent SMS warnings to citizens about the ban on firecrackers. A host on the Hamshahri program, referring to these warnings, told viewers: “Anyone who does something for the benefit of the enemy is an enemy,” and added, “We’ve said if something happens, it’s on you.”

Judicial Threats for Chaharshanbe Suri

The Tehran Judiciary announced that “firecracking” is banned this year. In a message sent to citizens, officials wrote: “Dear Citizen, to maintain public peace and safety, please refrain from lighting fires and using firecrackers.” The announcement quickly sparked backlash on social media. Even so, the government’s position has remained confrontational, with many judicial officials issuing statements.

Public and Revolutionary Prosecutors’ offices in provinces such as Khuzestan, Kermanshah, and Kerman released similar warnings, presenting the celebrations as a threat to national order and security. Referring to the “sensitive current conditions” and “recent aggressions by the U.S. and the Zionist regime,” they claimed enemies may try to use the occasion to create chaos and insecurity. Hamidreza Karimi, the Prosecutor of Kermanshah, said: “All judicial officers, including police, security, and intelligence forces, are mandated to be on full alert to take deterrent legal action against any norm-breaking, disorderly, provocative behavior, or suspicious activity.”

Taliban engineers at Camp Phoenix, some of whom studied at Kabul University’s engineering faculty, were working to increase the drones’ range and explosive payload. Pakistan and Western countries were aware of drone development at the site.

The project raised concerns among Western intelligence agencies, as the Taliban appeared to be developing advanced drones capable of striking targets beyond Afghanistan’s borders.

Al-Qaida-linked engineer assisting Taliban drone programme

The Daily Mail also reported that the presence of an engineer linked to the Al-Qaida network at the Taliban drone facility had increased concerns.

The engineer is said to have studied in the United Kingdom. Following the Taliban’s return to power in 2021, training camps for Al-Qaida and other militant groups have reportedly become active again in Afghanistan.

Engineers involved in the project are considered highly valuable and are provided with personal security.

“Drones instead of bread”

The Diplomat magazine reported on March 5, 2026, that the Taliban are actively developing indigenous drones. Assembly is said to take place at Camp Phoenix near Kabul, while testing occurs in Logar province.

The programme reportedly draws on experience from Turkiye, China, Russia and Iran and uses civilian components such as GPS systems, engines and sensors sourced from black markets.

The Taliban possess some of the necessary conditions for developing a drone industry. Infrastructure left behind from NATO bases and technical expertise gained over decades of war have created capabilities.

Taliban military engineers are able to assemble and modify drones without direct foreign assistance. Taliban officials have also emphasised the need to train domestic specialists.

Taliban drone attacks on Pakistan

In recent months, the Taliban have, for the first time, used suicide drones and quadcopters in attacks on targets in Pakistani cities as part of their conflict with Pakistan. These attacks were carried out in response to Pakistani airstrikes and reached as far as Islamabad.

In March, the Taliban intensified drone attacks on Pakistani cities, including strikes near Islamabad. Areas such as Faizabad and around the capital’s airport, near the Pakistani military headquarters in Rawalpindi, as well as Quetta, Kohat and other locations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, were targeted.

The Taliban’s Defence Ministry has confirmed targeting Pakistani military facilities and inflicting damage.

Pakistan’s military said the Taliban used “rudimentary” drones but added that they were intercepted and destroyed by defence systems before reaching their targets.

The Taliban are not the only group using drones in Pakistan. The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has also used drones in attacks against Pakistani security forces.

The Haj Qassem is a solid-fuelled medium-range ballistic missile with a reach of 1,400 kilometres and a 500kg warhead. It was named after Qassem Soleimani ssassinated in January 2020 (Trump ironically saying he was murdered to prevent American bases from being destroyed). Iran has been accelerating this program ever since, and tonight they put it on the board for the first time in this war.

The missile carries a maneuverable warhead specifically engineered to defeat THAAD and Patriot defence systems. Its guidance combines inertial navigation with an infrared optical seeker that homes in on heat signatures with no GPS required, electronic

jamming doesn’t touch it.

This barrage included Ghadr, Emad, and Fattah variants alongside the Haj Qassem, with the IRGC claiming strikes on Beit Shemesh, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, and US bases in Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Iraq.

The White House said Iran’s missile capacity was “functionally destroyed.”

Homeland Security Task Force Investigation Results in Guatemalan Drug Trafficker Sentenced to Over 24 Years for Multimillion Dollar Drug Conspiracy That Used Corrupt Officials and Murdered a Rival

Tampa, FL – Marlon Alexis Aguilar Reyes (age 44), a criminal alien from Guatemala who was living in Miami under an alias before his 2024 arrest, has been sentenced by Senior U.S. District Judge Charlene Edwards Honeywell to 24 years and 4 months in federal prison for conspiring to import more than 5 kilograms of cocaine into the United States. He pleaded guilty on July 23, 2025. U.S. Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe made the announcement.

According to court documents, Aguilar Reyes had an oversight role within an organization that received vessels of cocaine from South America off the coast of Guatemala, transported the cocaine to the northern border of Guatemala, then smuggled the cocaine into Mexico for ultimate importation into the United States. Members of the organization included a cartel member in Mexico, a corrupt law enforcement officer, and the former mayor of Tecun Uman, Guatemala. Throughout 2018, the investigation revealed that Aguilar Reyes was negotiating multimillion dollar cocaine deals in Mexico; receiving updates on the murder of a rival; and getting notified through a corrupt law enforcement officer about the presence of Guatemalan police vehicles in the vicinity of a drug smuggling operation.

International Trafficker Extradited to the United States and Charged with Importing Opioids and Money Laundering in Homeland Security Task Force Investigation

Tampa, FL – Sebastien Rollin (49, Quebec, Canada), a/k/a “Sticks” or “Stix,” has been charged by federal indictment with conspiracy to import protonitazene, distribution of protonitazene for importation into the United States, and international promotional money laundering. If convicted on all counts, Rollin faces a maximum penalty of 120 years in federal prison. The indictment also notifies Rollin that the United States is seeking an order of forfeiture. United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe made the announcement.

According to the indictment, Rollin, a Canadian national residing in a suburb of Montreal, Canada, began arranging the sale of synthetic opioid pills disguised as oxycodone knowing that the pills would go to Tampa. Rollin sold more than 10,000 such pills on May 13, 2024, to an undercover officer. He later sold 25,000 pills to an undercover officer on July 9, 2024. Rollin accepted payment for these sales via cryptocurrency that was sent from an undercover cryptocurrency wallet in the Middle District of Florida to Canada.

Another Sentence and Guilty Plea in Mexican-Based Drug Trafficking Ring Involving Over 12,900 Pounds of Methamphetamine and 22 Defendants

One defendant was sentenced and one pleaded guilty Monday in an investigation named “Operation Toxic Waste” that involved 22 defendants, 12,900 pounds of methamphetamine, and multiple firearms, U.S. Attorney Eric Grant announced.

Sergio Pena, 32, of La Puente, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge Jennifer L. Thurston to 15 years and eight months in prison for trafficking firearms and methamphetamine. Also, Ruben Saenz, 38, of Los Angeles, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine. Saenz is scheduled to be sentenced on July 13, 2026. He faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years and a maximum statutory penalty of life in prison.

According to court documents, Operation Toxic Waste was an investigation into a sophisticated drug trafficking ring that resulted in the seizure of over 12,900 pounds of methamphetamine, over 50 pounds of a fentanyl mixture, 39 pounds of cocaine, and 22 pounds of heroin. The drug trafficking organization smuggled methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine in portable projectors and batteries, under the guise of a legitimate transportation business. The organization also hid thousands of pounds of methamphetamine inside semi-trucks and hundreds of pounds of liquid methamphetamine in the gas tanks of cars driven across the border. The Mexico-based organization monitored the narcotics using GPS tracking devices hidden with the smuggled drugs.

Rep. Dan Crenshaw (R-TX) blamed Republican voters buying into “misinformation” for his primary loss to far-right state Rep. Steve Toth by a 15-point margin.

During the campaign, Toth and conservative podcaster Tucker Carlson criticized Crenshaw of “insider trading,” which Crenshaw vehemently denied.

“A large part of this election was about the power of clickbait,” Crenshaw told reporters after his loss. “Memes became truth. Too many people are not discerning through the clickbait. People voting — one after the other —literally thought I was making millions in the stock market doing inside trading. Even though I haven’t made a trade in three years. I’ve made under $46,000 over my entire seven years in office. The truth didn’t matter to people.”

On Sunday’s Face the Nation, host Margaret Brennan asked Crenshaw about his “misinformation” claims and what lessons other Republicans can take from his loss.

“Well, I mean, I’m a unique Republican,” Crenshaw said. “I’ve been the target of online smears and conspiracies for a long, long time and my election was basically a product of that.”

Crenshaw continued:

First of all, you have about 20% of Republican voters bothering to even vote in a primary, and then you have dozens of online smears and conspiracies that, people were going into the voting booth actually believing. Believing that I was worth millions of dollars from insider trading. Doesn’t matter how many times we thought we had debunked that or that other people and influencers and what have not have debunked it, all of these things, people still went in believing it.

The lesson to be learned is, look, you’ve got to get the truth out. You have to try. but ultimately this is a question for the American people: Are you going to believe everything that you read online or that is sent to you in your mail?

Crenshaw also took a swipe at Democrats for propagating the misinformation against him.

“I mean, Democrats spent almost a million dollars also pushing these smears on television. So, Republican voters are going to…the voting booth believing what a Democrat told them on TV based on a smear headline written by a liberal reporter in D.C.,” Crenshaw said, adding, “So, that’s the lesson, and it’s not just for Republican politicians. It’s the lesson for Republican voters.”

The United States expressed outrage when Great Britain revealed two years ago that its voter registration databases were hacked by China in what became a global scandal. But it turns out the U.S. intelligence harbored its own secret at the time, knowing since 2020 that Beijing also gained access to American voter registration data, according to documents reviewed by Just the News and interviews with officials with direct knowledge.

“[Redacted] Chinese intelligence officials analyzed multiple U.S. states' [Redacted] election voter registration data, [Redacted] to conduct public opinion analysis on the 2020 US general election,” stated a once highly classified April 2020 National Intelligence Council memo entitled "Cyber Operations Enabling Expansive Authoritarianism."

That memo, heavily redacted and quietly declassified by the Biden administration two years after it was written, has escaped most public notice.

That means six years later that the U.S. intelligence community has yet to fully inform the American people or the Congress on the breadth of evidence it possesses of China’s actions, how Beijing got the data, and what operations it has taken or contemplated.

The gap in public knowledge is particularly politically sensitive as the Senate this week debates a new election security bill that is a top priority for President Donald Trump. Officials told Just the News that Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and CIA Director John Ratcliffe are working to declassify a potentially explosive tranche of documents showing what China did, and who in U.S. government knew and when.

The secrecy surrounding China's access to voter registration has been so persistent that even Republican National Committee Chairman Joe Gruters, President Donald Trump's point man for the 2026 mid-term elections, said he was unaware of the intelligence. "What's crazy is the fact that China has access to these voter rolls, but we don't," Gruters told John Solomon Reports podcast in an episode set to air Tuesday.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,

SECTION 1. Short title.

This Act may be cited as the “Let Injured Americans Be Legally Empowered Act” or the “LIABLE Act”.

SEC. 2. No Federal immunity from, or limitation on, liability for manufacturers for loss caused by a COVID–19 vaccine.

(a) In general.—No Federal law, including sections 319F–3, 2111, and 2122 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 247d–6d, 300aa–11, 300aa–22), may make the manufacturer of a COVID–19 vaccine immune from suit or liability, or limit the liability of such a manufacturer, with respect to claims for loss caused by, arising out of, relating to, or resulting from the administration to or the use by an individual of a COVID–19 vaccine.

(b) Rule of construction.—Nothing in this Act shall be construed to prohibit an individual from seeking compensation through the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program under section 319F–4 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 247d–6e) or the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program under subtitle 2 of title XXI of such Act (42 U.S.C. 300aa–10 et seq.).

(c) Relation to other programs.—An individual shall not be precluded from bringing a civil action for claims described in subsection (a) on the basis of such individual having sought or received compensation through the Countermeasures Injury Compensation Program under section 319F–4 of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 247d–6e) or the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program under subtitle 2 of title XXI of such Act (42 U.S.C. 300aa–10 et seq.).

(d) Definition.—The term “COVID–19 vaccine” means a vaccine licensed or otherwise authorized by the Food and Drug Administration to prevent, mitigate, or limit—

(1) the harm from COVID–19; or

(2) the transmission of SARS–CoV–2 or a virus mutating therefrom.

(e) Retroactive applicability.—This Act applies without regard to whether the adminstration or use of a COVID–19 vaccine occurs before, on, or after the date of enactment of this Act.

California NGOs Encourage Fake Addresses To Homeless People To Sign Petitions & Register Voters, A State & Federal Felony. Footage Shows 28 Instances Of Cash Changing Hands For Ballot Signatures & Voter Registration Forms. Many of the petitioners had no understanding of the petitions’ purpose they were advertising. Circulators also instructed individuals to use fake addresses. “Oh, you can just fake an address.”

Weingart Center, which received hundreds of millions in public funding, is on tape directing people to where the fraudulent petitioners are located, and directing homeless individuals to petitioners & coaching plausible deniability. “See they say ignorance is no excuse for the law. But a lot of times, I have to say ‘I didn’t know, I had no idea.’”

We encountered 28 instances of petitioners offering cash, cigarettes, and marijuana for signatures on petitions.

Weingart employees advised: “See they say ignorance is no excuse for the law. But a lot of times, I have to say ‘I didn’t know, I had no idea.’” All happening outside taxpayer-funded housing organizations. Weingart CEO earned $432,000 before resigning from the Los Angeles County Affordable Housing Solutions Agency.

James O’Keefe and the OMG Team went undercover on Skid Row, posing as homeless individuals. On hidden cameras, petitioners admitted they are paid $7–$10 per signature, sometimes earning $1,000 or more per day, collecting signatures from individuals with minimal knowledge of what they were signing.

and the American Hotel & Lodging Association (@AHLA). On camera, one petitioner said,“We have one that taxes billionaires 5%. One-time tax. 5% and that’s gonna go towards healthcare.” Other petitions sought to overturn LA’s $30 minimum wage for hotel and airline workers.

• Paying per signature and encouraging fake addresses violates federal and state election law and is proof of fraud happening in California.

• Weingart employees were caught directing the homeless to the location of the petitioners and coaching them on plausible deniability. Intake coordinator Jason Warren told an undercover journalist exactly where and when to find them:

“Most time they be right across the street, under that tree… Monday through Friday.”

• In 2016, nine individuals were arrested on Skid Row for exchanging cash and cigarettes for signatures; in 2019 they were charged on 14 counts under the exact same California Elections Code section.

•Yet when confronted, nearby LAPD officers dismissed the activity as “a civil lawsuit.”

• “Paying per signature violates state election law and is evidence of election fraud in California,” the investigation concludes. On Skid Row, we captured conduct on tape that violates Federal Law 52 U.S. Code §10307 and state law California Election Code §18603.

Japanese games and manga used in White House's airstrike videos

In recent days, the White House has posted videos on X showing U.S.-Israeli forces' ongoing military operations against Iran that feature elements from Nintendo's Wii Sports video game and popular manga series "Yu-Gi-Oh!"

The videos have been criticized for making light of deadly attacks.

A 52-second video titled "Epic Fury," the name of the military operation, was released Thursday. It combines an image of a bombing with that from Wii Sports' bowling game, displaying the word "Strike." The phrase "Hole in one" appears in a part of the video that combines airstrikes and images.

On March 5, a separate video featuring "Yu-Gi-Oh!" and bombings was posted.

In response, the official X account of the manga series released a statement saying that the manga and anime franchise has had no involvement with the White House videos, and that intellectual property associated with the manga series has not been licensed to the White House.

A bombing of an Iranian girls' elementary school, believed to have been done by the U.S., killed about 170 students in the opening days of the war.

U.S. media has shown comments from a former senior U.S. government official who accused the administration of President Donald Trump of treating war like a game, saying the administration has displayed a very careless attitude toward deceased troops and civilians.

TEHRAN, March 13. /TASS/. US servicemen themselves set fire to the USS Gerald R. Ford so they wouldn't have to fight against Iran, a spokesman for the Islamic Republic’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters reported.

"The USS Gerald R. Ford, which arrived from the Mediterranean to the Indian Ocean and the Strait of Oman to reinforce defeated US forces, was deliberately set on fire by several US sailors over the crew’s fear [of Iran]," Iran’s public broadcaster quoted him as saying.

Details emerge of damage to US Navy’s largest warship after fire

Hundreds of US military service members aboard the USS Gerald R. Ford were left without beds after a fire broke out last week, the New York Times reports.

US Central Command described the incident as “not combat-related” and said it caused no damage to the warship’s propulsion systems. The Gerald R. Ford is the largest ship in the US Navy, carrying over 4,500 sailors and pilots, and is taking part in the US-Israeli war against Iran.

The newspaper revealed on Monday that it took more than 30 hours to extinguish the fire, which originated in the ship’s main laundry area. Dozens suffered smoke inhalation, the report said, citing anonymous sources. More than 600 sailors lost their bunks and have since been sleeping on floors and tables. Many have been unable to do laundry since the incident.

The aircraft carrier was rushed to the Middle East after taking part in the military incursion in January in Venezuela that resulted in the abduction of President Nicolas Maduro, and is now entering its tenth month of deployment.

According to the NYT, crew members expected the mission to stretch into May. The US Navy typically sails aircraft carriers for six months before long port calls for maintenance and shore leave.

Previous reporting noted that the $13 billion lead ship of its class, commissioned in 2017, has been plagued by toilet problems. The sewage system, similar to those in commercial aircraft, is undersized and prone to clogging, the Government Accountability Office said in 2020. Acid flushing to remove calcium buildup in narrow pipes costs around $400,000 and can only be done in port.

NPR reported in January that the warship called for outside help 42 times since 2023, with the frequency increasing over time.

Iran strikes heart of occupied territories, US base in Qatar in 57th wave of retaliation

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has launched the 57th wave of Operation True Promise 4, striking strategic targets deep within the occupied territories and a major US air base in Qatar, according to a statement from the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.

The operation, was dedicated to the youngest martyr of the Ramadan war, three-day-old Mojtaba, who was martyred today in his mother's arms along with his family in yet another atrocity committed by the aggressors.

In the heart of the occupied territories, Iranian forces successfully targeted command and control communication infrastructure and missile defense systems using precise, pinpoint strikes.

The operation employed a combination of advanced Iranian missiles, including the Kheibar Shekan, Emad, and Qadr systems, which hit their designated targets with high accuracy.

These strikes specifically targeted the networks enabling the occupation regime's military operations, dealing a significant blow to its command and control capabilities.

Al Udeid base in Qatar targeted

Simultaneously, the IRGC conducted a successful strike against Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar, which hosts American terrorist forces.

The attack utilized a combination of precision-guided, medium-range, solid-fuel Zolfaghar missiles, liquid-fuel Qiam missiles, and explosive drones.

Al Udeid base serves as a central hub for US Central Command operations in the region and has been used to coordinate attacks against Iran and its allies throughout the war.

Navy destroys US fighter aircraft hangars

In a separate operation hours earlier, the IRGC Navy executed a combined missile and drone assault targeting American fighter aircraft hangars at two key installations.

The strikes successfully destroyed multiple hangars at Sheikh Isa Air Base in Bahrain and Al Dhafra Air Base in the UAE using high-explosive cruise missiles.

Al Dhafra Air Base holds particular significance as the origin point of recent aggressor and American terrorist attacks against Iranian islands in the past days.

The IRGC confirmed that following these strikes, the operational capacity of Al Dhafra base has been "severely reduced."

The IRGC Navy announced that these attacks will continue until the complete evacuation of American terrorist bases in the region.

"These strikes will continue until the complete evacuation and destruction of American terrorist bases," the IRGC Navy stated. "We call on the Muslim people of the region to stay away from these bases."

The 57th wave of Operation True Promise 4 represents the latest phase of Iran's sustained response to the US-Israeli war of aggression launched on February 28.

That aggression resulted in the martyrdom of late Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and thousands of civilians, including the Minab school massacre where around 170 young girls were killed.

Iran has consistently maintained that its retaliatory operations are legitimate self-defense under international law, targeting only American and Israeli military assets while avoiding harm to civilian infrastructure.

The IRGC has previously reported firing approximately 700 missiles and 3,600 drones at US and Zionist targets since the war began.

In 2013, Maxwell was an honored guest at a Clinton Global Initiative event, at which it was announced that her nonprofit, the TerraMar Project, had “committed to launch the Sustainable Oceans Alliance.”

Then, on Feb. 27, 2014, Bill Clinton invited Ghislaine Maxwell to a small, private dinner at an upscale vegan restaurant in Los Angeles, Crossroads Kitchen.

At this time, Maxwell’s involvement in Epstein’s crimes was being widely reported. For instance, the Telegraph reported in June 2014: “Some of the girls were introduced to him by Ghislaine Maxwell, his friend and the daughter of the late media tycoon Robert Maxwell, who allegedly told them they should give him a massage.”

Apparently, several people in Clinton’s orbit tried to stop him from inviting Maxwell to the private dinner due to the allegations against her. The Daily Beast has reported, “Multiple sources with knowledge of the situation say aides had squabbled over Maxwell’s invitation beforehand due to her links to Epstein.”

These sources, reported the Daily Beast, said that longtime Clinton gatekeeper Doug Band had sought to remove Maxwell from Clinton’s orbit in 2011 due to the sexual abuse and trafficking allegations against her. The New York Times has separately reported that Band sent an email to another Clinton aide in 2011 asking him to “remove” Maxwell “from all lists.” The Daily Mail, the Times noted, had that year referred to Maxwell as “Epstein’s Girl Friday ‘Fixer.’”

In 2020, Band told Vanity Fair that he knew his effort to exclude Maxwell would upset both Chelsea and Bill Clinton because they were both quite close to her, despite the allegations against her.

“I knew in telling everyone to stop including Ghislaine that Chelsea and her father would be very angry. It made it harder for them to justify being close to her,” Band said.

Plus, Band said, Chelsea Clinton wanted to benefit from the perks that came with Maxwell’s status in high society. “Ghislaine had access to yachts and nice homes,” said Band. “Chelsea needed that.”

For their parts, Chelsea and Bill have denied that they knew about the allegations against Maxwell while they continued associating with her. A spokesperson for the Clinton family told Vanity Fair, “It wasn’t until 2015 that Chelsea became aware of the horrific allegations against Ghislaine Maxwell and she hopes that all the victims find justice.” During his deposition, when Bill was asked when he first knew about the allegations against Maxwell, he said, “When the first evidence came out, when was it, in 2019?”
