The guy shouted “Free Palestine” while throwing fire bombs at a crowd of Jewish people. We correctly referred to an investigation of terrorism, will continue to do so, and we have zero interest in what either these CNN guests have to say. Kick rocks.

Mystery as Russia is rocked by 3 train crashes in one night after bridges collapse & tracks ‘blown up’ leaving 7 dead

Two bridge collapses in Russia’s Bryansk and Kursk regions have resulted in train derailments, killing at least seven people and injuring dozens2. The Bryansk collapse occurred when a road bridge gave way onto a passenger train, crushing several cars and injuring 66 people, including three children. Authorities suspect “illegal interference”, with some reports claiming the bridge was blown up3.

In Kursk, a freight train was crossing a bridge when it collapsed, causing part of the train to fall onto a highway and catch fire. One of the drivers was injured. Russian officials are investigating both incidents, while Ukraine has not commented on the events. Rescue operations are ongoing, with 180 personnel involved.

Boulder Police Chief: From everything we know, in the witness briefings, and interviews that we've done at this point, we do not believe that there is an additional suspect at large. We are not going to say that with absolute certainty because we're still conducting a lot of interviews, but we believe that the initial report of two suspects; we have not been able to confirm that, and we're fairly confident we have the lone suspect in custody.

Iran has enough Uranium for 10 nuclear bombs

Iran has continued to produce highly enriched uranium at a pace of roughly one nuclear weapon’s worth a month over the past three months despite talks between Washington and Tehran on a new nuclear deal, the United Nations atomic agency said.

The International Atomic Energy Agency said in a confidential report circulated to member states that Iran had grown its stockpile of 60%-enriched uranium to 408.6 kilograms from 274.8 kilograms in early February, an increase of around 50%. The Wall Street Journal viewed a copy of the report.

That means Iran has enough highly enriched uranium for roughly 10 nuclear weapons, based on IAEA measures of the minimum fissile material required, up from at least six at the time of the last report.

U.S. officials say it could take Iran less than two weeks to convert this highly enriched uranium into enough weapons-grade 90% fissile material for a nuclear weapon.

Iran says its nuclear work is purely peaceful. The U.S. says that Tehran hasn’t decided to build a nuclear bomb but that it would need only a few months to assemble one.

While the report doesn’t provide a monthly breakdown, it presented no evidence that Iran has slowed the accumulation of 60%-enriched material since the start of talks with the U.S. on April 12. Iran is the only non-nuclear-armed country producing 60%-enriched uranium.

The IAEA has said it can’t verify that Iran’s nuclear program is for peaceful purposes.

“The significantly increased production and accumulation of highly enriched uranium by Iran, the only non-nuclear-weapon State to produce such nuclear material, is of serious concern,” IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi said in the report.

Iran and the U.S. have held five rounds of nuclear talks and are seeking to complete a framework for a deal that would set out joint positions on key issues to be decided. President Trump has said the talks are progressing well, although the two sides are divided on whether Iran can continue to enrich uranium under a deal.

Jewish students storm out of MIT commencement after class president accuses university of aiding Israel’s ‘genocide’

At MIT’s 2025 commencement, student class president Megha Vemuri accused the university of being “complicit in genocide” due to its research ties with the Israeli military. She praised student activism calling for MIT to sever ties with Israel, stating, “MIT wants a free Palestine.” Her speech, which was not pre-approved, led to Jewish students walking out and calls for MIT’s president to resign.

MIT barred Vemuri from further graduation events, citing disruption of the ceremony. The controversy follows similar incidents at NYU and George Washington University, where commencement speakers also condemned Israel'

DOJ Opens Civil Rights Investigation Into University Of Virginia’s DEI Regime

The U.S. Department of Justice has opened a civil rights investigation into the University of Virginia over its diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) regime, which it has attempted to secretly continue despite a directive from its board to eradicate the ideology.

The Justice Department confirmed its investigation into the school to America First Legal (AFL), The Federalist learned, after the group sent a 98-page letter to Assistant Attorney General for Civil Rights Harmeet Dhillon, a UVA alumna, on Friday detailing how UVA is attempting to disguise its DEI infrastructure in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.

The university’s Board of Visitors voted to dismantle DEI earlier this year, but actually executing that directive is left to the very people who injected the ideology into the school in the first place, as The Federalist reported.

“UVA has not dismantled its DEI framework — it has merely rebranded it to evade legal scrutiny. What the law prohibits, UVA simply renamed,” AFL counsel Megan Redshaw told The Federalist. “We are grateful the DOJ has taken our findings seriously and is taking action to hold UVA accountable. No institution that receives taxpayer funds is above the law.”

After the UVA board’s vote, the Department of Justice sent an April 28 letter to the school’s president, rector, and legal counsel requiring that the school prove it was dismantling the DEI regime they had built in order to be in compliance with civil rights law.

The department pointed to racialized admissions schemes and preferences made unconstitutional by the Supreme Court as well as an executive order signed by President Donald Trump aimed at dismantling “‘DEI’ apparatuses and instruments of discrimination based on race, skin color, ethnicity, national origin, and other impermissible, immutable characteristics.”

As AFL pointed out, UVA did not comply with the directive, but rather said it had “made progress” on eradicating DEI, and that “additional work remains to be done.” The school also started a working group in order to “promote open inquiry, constructive conversation across differences, and development of a civic mindset,” but did not say how its DEI regime had been dismantled.

Rather, like many other schools, the school decided to get rid of some websites and mentions of DEI but keep the ideology functioning full steam ahead in the background.

“UVA has rebranded its DEI programs using euphemisms like ‘Inclusive Excellence,’ ‘Advocacy and Opportunity,’ ‘Community Engagement,’ ‘Strategic Wellness and Opportunity,’ ‘Inclusion and Belonging,’ and ‘Viewpoint Diversity,’ while continuing to apply race-, sex-, and other identity-based preferences in violation of federal law,” AFL stated.

The school also simply rebranded job titles, as opposed to firing the DEI staff (many of whom maintain pronouns in their professional biographies). Rachel Spraker, who used to be called the “Assistant VP for Diversity and Inclusion,” but is now the “Assistant VP for Equity and Inclusive Excellence,” once said that “white people are actually dying from whiteness too.”

The Darden School of Business at UVA similarly rebranded its DEI page, but maintains scholarships that restrict eligibility for sex, race, and other characteristics backed by a $125 million endowment for candidates they claim to be “diverse” — which typically means nonwhite and not male, and has nothing to do with differing perspectives.

Darden further works with organizations outside the school in order to award $20,000 to an “LGBTQ+” candidate who will promote “LGBTQ+” issues.

Similar programs exist at the school of medicine to choose candidates based on racial or sexual preferences, including the “Peter Page Scholarship,” which gives $10,000 to “highly motivated gay male students.”

The examples are endless.

It is unclear if anyone in Virginia will hold the university accountable. Thus far, Gov. Glenn Youngkin, R-Va., has not called for the removal of UVA president Jim Ryan, who was one of the primary forces behind injecting DEI in the first place, as The Federalist reported. If Youngkin told the university’s board to fire Ryan, they would almost certainly do it.

Two undocumented migrants arrested after hit-and-run jet ski death of teenage military recruit

Ava Moore, an 18-year-old Air Force recruit, was killed in a hit-and-run while kayaking on Grapevine Lake, Texas. The suspect, Daikerlyn Alejandra Gonzalez Gonzalez, was allegedly recklessly operating a jet ski at high speed when she collided with Moore, then fled the scene with Maikel Coello Perozo in a car that later crashed into two other vehicles.

Authorities arrested both suspects, who are undocumented Venezuelan nationals. Gonzalez faces manslaughter charges, while Perozo is charged with hindering apprehension. Texas officials, including Governor Greg Abbott, have condemned the incident, with Abbott even suggesting the death penalty for the suspects. Moore had recently graduated from the Air Force Academy Preparatory School and was set to join the Class of 2029. Her death has sparked outrage over immigration policies and calls for justice.

@LoomerUnleashed

has confirmed that Mohamed Soliman has a daughter who just graduated high school in Colorado Springs as class of 2025. She came here from Kuwait with her Egyptian father 2 years ago, who is an ILLEGAL ALIEN according to DHS. Joe Biden let them into our country.

That means Soliman’s daughter is also an illegal alien.

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

What is the estimated count of Visa Overstays in the US?

The most recent data from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) estimates that in Fiscal Year 2022, approximately 853,955 foreign nationals overstayed their visas in the United States. This figure comes from the DHS Fiscal Year 2022 Entry/Exit Overstay Report, which tracks nonimmigrant admissions through air and sea ports, with a total overstay rate of 3.67%. For Fiscal Year 2023, posts on X suggest a range of 850,000 to 900,000 overstays, with some citing a lower figure of 320,000, though these numbers are not officially verified by DHS reports.

Historical estimates vary. A 2017 report by the Center for Migration Studies estimated that visa overstays accounted for about 42% of the 11 million undocumented immigrants in the U.S. in 2014, roughly 4.5 million people. More recent analyses suggest that overstays may contribute to nearly half of the undocumented population, with annual figures fluctuating between 650,000 and 850,000 from 2016 to 2020.

These numbers are likely underreported due to limitations in tracking, particularly at land borders, and because DHS counts entry/exit events rather than individual travelers, which can skew rates lower. Precise figures are tough to pin down because of incomplete exit tracking systems and unrecorded departures, especially for land border crossings.

Boulder Colorado Terrorist Was Islamic Illegal Alien from Egypt, Identified as Mohamed Sabry Soliman

June 1, 2025 | Sundance |

According to Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, three senior DHS sources tell him the Boulder terror suspect is an Egyptian national in the U.S. illegally as a visa overstay who entered the U.S. during the Biden administration.Mohamed Sabry Soliman arrived at LAX on 8/27/22 on a B1/B2 nonimmigrant visa with an authorized stay through 2/26/23, but he overstayed & never left.

On 9/29/22, terror suspect Mohamed Sabry Soliman filed some sort of claim with USCIS, potentially an asylum claim, andon 3/29/23, USCIS under the Biden admin gave him work authorization, which expired on 3/28/25.Soliman remained illegally in the United States before he carried out his attack today in Boulder, Colorado.

According to local and FBI officials, there are at least six victims as Mohamed Sabry Solimanused an improvised flamethrower to attack people in the crowd. The FBI and Local Police held a press conference:

Summary: Six people have been injured after an Egyptian illegal alien started “setting people on fire” at a mall in Boulder in Colorado. The FBI calls it a “suspected act of terrorism” and tells a news conference the suspect – ==who they have identified as Mohamed Sabry Soliman – shouted “free Palestine” during the attack••. A peaceful event in support of Israeli hostages was under way when the attack happened; police say – the group meets regularly for a walk in the area. Officers say the suspect has been taken into custody and six people were injured, with injuries ranging from “very serious” to more minor. Colorado’s attorney general says the attack “appears to be a hate crime.”

(Via Daily Mail) – At least six pro-Israel demonstrators were set alight in a ‘targeted terror attack’ as the suspect shouted ‘we have to end Zionists.’

The incident took place about 1.30pm local time on Sunday at Pearl Street Mall as the targets gathered to honor hostages still held in Gaza.

A shirtless man who was pacing back and forth and awaiting their arrival began launching makeshift Molotov cocktails at civilians. He was later identified by the FBI as Mohamed Sabry Soliman.

Moments after the incident, Soliman was filmed launching an extraordinary tirade against Jewish people, shouting at the victims: ‘How many children you killed?’

Then turning his attention to the crowd which had gathered, he continued: ‘We have to end Zionists. They are killers.’

Authorities revealed six people were set alight in the chilling attack, while witnesses revealed at least one woman was forced to throw herself on the ground and roll back and forth in an effort to extinguish the flames on her body.

The victims were all rushed to hospital, where they are now being treated for varying injuries. At least one remains in a critical condition.

[…] California tourist Alex Osante was eating at an Italian restaurant off Boulder’s famed Pearl Street pedestrian mall when heheard a ‘big boom’ and saw a woman ‘on fire from head to toe on fire.’

Within minutes, a nearby man ran to his table to grab two bottles of water before rushing back to victims writhing in flames on the ground.

‘People were screaming and yelling … tripping over each other,’ he told Daily Mail.

‘The terrorist had a Molotov cocktail in his hand. He had two other bottles, and he threw a bottle at the group, and a lady caught on fire from head to toe – fully imppersed in fire.

‘And then the other few people, maybe four others, were also on fire – but not as bad,’ he said.

Osante said that, while he had no idea what was going on, he immediately began filming from his position amidst the outdoor seating at the restaurant.

‘There was a roof above me, so I didn’t feel like bullets were going to come from above if there were people shooting,’ he said.

‘I didn’t hear any bullets, so I was just being aware by watching and listening … and if there was an opportunity where I can help.’

He said he saw victims lying on the grass and writhing around while it felt ‘way too long’ until first responders arrived.

Navy Orders Forcewide Housing Inspections After Secretary 'Appalled' by Guam Barracks Conditions

Navy Secretary John Phelan visited Guam earlier this month and was "appalled" after seeing the conditions of an Air Force barracks where junior service members were living, prompting an ongoing Navy-wide inspection of more than 100,000 barracks units, according to a government watchdog and service officials.

Conditions included exposed wires, corroded plumbing and dilapidated walls splattered with paint to cover mold; after Phelan's visit, more than 70 Marines and sailors were moved out of the Palau Hall barracks, a housing facility at Andersen Air Force Base. Another 77 airmen there are "in the process of being relocated" in anticipation of a $53 million renovation scheduled to start later this year, an Air Force spokesperson told Military.com on Friday.

The Project on Government Oversight, a Washington, D.C.-based watchdog group, obtained images of the squalid housing and correspondence sent by the Navy's head of installations, who ordered all regional commands to inspect their barracks by the end of May.

The Navy official, Vice Adm. Scott Gray, noted that the Palau Hall barracks were "way outside of any reasonable standard" and that the conditions were "a failure of leadership across multiple echelons of command," according to the documents.

Not all of the inspections have been completed, the Navy told Military.com Friday, but are expected to be finished by the end of June.

Following his visit May 1-2, Phelan ordered Marines and sailors be moved out of the Air Force-owned barracks within 10 days and that new housing aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Blaz be opened about a month ahead of schedule in response to the squalid conditions, according to POGO and confirmed by the Navy.

"I actually thought the buildings were condemned," Phelan told POGO in an interview. "When we pulled up to them and saw what shape they're in, I was shocked."

Days later, on May 5, Gray sent the email, with photos of the barracks conditions attached, directing the worldwide inspection and adding that "if you would not want a sailor's mother/family visiting them at the housing unit, then you have a problem that needs to be addressed. Fix It!"

The inspections are meant to "ensure our sailors are residing in unaccompanied housing that meet living standards regardless [of] if they are Navy-owned or not," Leslie Gould, the Fleet and Family Readiness director for the service's installation command, told Military.com in an emailed statement Friday.

Palau Hall is Air Force-owned, but it is not uncommon for troops from different branches to stay in cross-service housing. The Navy's inspection includes barracks where sailors are living, but that are operated by other branches.

There are more than 104,000 unaccompanied housing units across the Navy, Gould said. They are given a "red, yellow or green" designator following a multi-leader inspection of the barracks' exterior, common areas such as kitchens and laundry rooms, and quarters, according to Gray's email.

Within the "yellow" category, Gray urged leaders to apply the "Washington Post test," meaning that "if the pictures you have taken or the results of your assessment conducted of a particular facility were published online tomorrow, would you be able to personally justify sailors living there?"

Gould said that housing facilities deemed to be "red" will result in a sailor being immediately removed from the barracks. Those identified as "yellow" will be prioritized for restoration.

Putin is Preparing for More War, US Senators Warn, Urging Swift Sanctions and Global Action

Republican Sen. Lindsey Graham and Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthal spoke to The Associated Press in Paris after meeting President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and touring neighborhoods shattered by what they called the worst Russian bombardments since the full-scale invasion began.

In Paris for talks with French President Emmanuel Macron — who they say is “100% aligned” with them on the war — the senators warned the window to prevent a renewed assault is closing. A sweeping U.S. sanctions bill could be the West’s last chance to choke off the Kremlin’s war economy, they said.

"What I learned on this trip was he’s preparing for more war,” Graham said of Putin. Blumenthal called the sanctions proposed in legislation “bone-crushing” and said it would place Russia’s economy “on a trade island.”

“It is crunch time for Putin and for the world because Russia is mounting a new offensive,” he said.

At the heart of their push is a bipartisan sanctions bill, backed by nearly the entire U.S. Senate but still facing uncertain odds in Washington. It would impose 500% tariffs on countries that continue buying Russian oil, gas, uranium and other exports — targeting nations like China and India that account for roughly 70% of Russia’s energy trade and bankroll much of its war effort.

Graham called it “the most draconian bill I’ve ever seen in my life in the Senate."

“The world has a lot of cards to play against Putin,” he said. “We’re going to hit China and India for propping up his war machine.”

Peace talks or stalling tactic?

Peace talks are scheduled to resume Monday in Istanbul. But Ukrainian officials say Moscow has yet to submit a serious proposal — a delay both senators described as deliberate and dangerous.

“Putin is playing President Trump," Blumenthal said. “He’s taking him for a sucker.” The senator said Putin "is, in effect, stalling and stonewalling, prolonging the conversation so that he can mount this offensive and take control of more territory on the ground.”

Graham added: “We saw credible evidence of a summer or early fall invasion, a new offensive by Putin. ... He’s preparing for more war.”

Trump has yet to endorse the sanctions bill, telling reporters Friday: “I don’t know. I’ll have to see it.” Graham said the legislation was drafted in consultation with Trump’s advisers.

Graham backed the president’s diplomatic instincts but said, "By trying to engage Putin — by being friendly and enticing — it’s become painfully clear he’s not interested in ending this war.”

Blumenthal hoped the bipartisan support for Ukraine at least in the Senate — and the personal testimonies they plan to bring home to Congress and the Oval Office— may help shift the conversation.

“He needs to see and hear that message as well from us, from the American people,” he said of Putin.

A moral reckoning

Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser wants to end sanctuary city status for DC

Mayor Muriel E. Bowser’s budget proposal would make changes to health-care programs that insure undocumented immigrants and low-income adults, as city grapples with financial pressure and the impacts of President Donald Trump’s spending and tax cut bill.

Starting Aug. 1, the budget proposal calls for the city to begin phasing adults age 21 and older out of the Healthcare Alliance Program, which uses local dollars to cover 27,000 adults regardless of immigration status; and in March impose limits such as requiring people to reenroll in-person every six months. The 6,000 children in the program would be unaffected, city officials say.

The city would also save money by paying for care as participants use services, instead of per person enrolled. The changes would save the city $457 million over four years, budget documents released Tuesday show, though some advocates worry the cuts would cost thousands of residents their health care and hospitals would rack up more uncompensated care costs.

In addition, about 25,000 parents or caregivers and childless adults covered under the expansion of the Affordable Care Act who earn more than 133 percent of the federal poverty level would lose Medicaid coverage under the proposal. Instead, many of them would be eligible for a new basic plan on the exchange with similar coverage, city officials said.

The mayor’s proposal, which the D.C. Council must now consider, reflects the competing interests the Bowser (D) administration has weighed when crafting a budget that is financially responsible and anticipates federal changes without abandoning the city’s most vulnerable residents.

Unlike other cities, the District is subject to the whims of the Republican-controlled Congress, which must sign off on its laws and budget and can tinker with specific line items lawmakers don’t like. The House last week narrowly passed a budget bill that includes additional limits on Medicaid eligibility and would cut federal Medicaid payments to a handful of states and D.C. that currently use local dollars to cover adults regardless of immigration status.

“We are not unmindful of the fact that if the Senate passes what the House did, and the president signs it, [that] to continue Alliance in any form or any size at any cost would have attracted a $100 million penalty, by our rough estimate,” Wayne Turnage, deputy director for health and human services, said in an interview Wednesday.

But Turnage stressed the changes under Bowser’s proposal “are driven solely by the spending pressure that the Medicaid program and the Alliance program created going into fiscal year ’26 and then somewhat exacerbated by the declining revenue picture.”

The budget documents released Tuesday included a $120 million Indigent Care fund for uninsured people. But Turnage said that was in error.

D.C.’s chief financial officer has predicted the city could endure a more than $1 billion revenue downturn over the next four years, largely due to the Trump (R) administration’s moves to shrink the federal government. Bowser officials warn that the city could lose 40,000 jobs as a result of those efforts, a reality they say necessitates more fiscal discipline and a push to diversify the city’s economy.

Overall, Bowser’s budget proposal would invest in pro-business policies in an attempt to attract and grow nonfederal industries at the same time as it makes significant cuts to government programs. Among the $250 million in cuts and policy changes that could save another $500 million are reductions in emergency rental assistance and pauses to planned cost-of-living adjustments in a cash assistance program for poorer families.

Patients, providers and advocates led by the D.C. Primary Care Association rallied last week on the steps of the John A. Wilson District Building to highlight the risk to health care on multiple fronts. The Senate is taking up Trump’s “big beautiful bill” in June and D.C. Council will begin holding hearings Thursday and with a vote scheduled for the end of July.

The proposed D.C. changes would mean “vulnerable residents will not have health care and will end up using emergency rooms more frequently and illnesses will not be diagnosed in a timely manner,” said Kate Coventry, deputy director of legislative strategy at the DC Fiscal Policy Institute.

“D. C. has always taken pride in the fact that almost every resident has access to health care coverage,” she said. “Health care is a human right and that shouldn’t be dependent on immigration status.”

Andrew Patterson, senior counsel with Legal Aid DC, said he was concerned that the organization’s clients who rely on the Alliance program could lose their insurance — and wants D.C. officials to stay committed to insuring undocumented residents regardless of congressional pressure and financial challenges.

“We want to see them maintain that dedication even in challenging budget times,” Patterson said. “We don’t think all of the hardship should fall on the most vulnerable people in our city.”

Although the city’s Alliance program does not use federal funds, the Trump administration has been explicit about increasing oversight on jurisdictions that use federal Medicaid funding for undocumented immigrants, including reviews to close loopholes and strengthen enforcement.

“Medicaid is not, and cannot be, a backdoor pathway to subsidize open borders,” Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services Administrator Mehmet Oz said in a statement Tuesday. “States have a duty to uphold the law and protect taxpayer funds. We are putting them on notice — CMS will not allow federal dollars to be diverted to cover those who are not lawfully eligible.”

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) recently asked state lawmakers to scale back the health benefits that the state offers to undocumented immigrants in part because maintaining it would cost the state $30 billion if federal changes go through, data from KFF, a nonprofit group that conducts health policy research, show. New York, Illinois, New Jersey and Oregon are among the states with similar programs.

Congress has previously taken action to limit rights for noncitizens in recent years — with some Democratic support.

The House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform last month advanced a bill repeal a 2022 law that allows noncitizens to vote in local elections. The same bill passed the GOP-controlled House with 52 Democrats.

The committee in March also advanced the District of Columbia Federal Immigration Compliance Act, requiring the city to comply with federal immigration laws, including detainers of individuals. In the last Congress, a lawmaker offered an amendment to block D.C. from using local funds to house undocumented immigrants.

D.C. currently limits how much its local authorities can collaborate with federal immigration enforcement, but Bowser’s budget proposal would repeal that policy and start allowing local law enforcement to provide federal immigration agencies with information and access to D.C.’s jails.

Abel Nuñez, executive director of the immigrant-serving Central American Resource Center, said he was not surprised to see Bowser propose adjustments to the Alliance program, which he said was a large expense for a city now facing increased financial pressures. “We knew changes were coming,” he said.

Plus, Nuñez added, “At the end, when this budget is done, it still needs to go before the U.S. Congress, controlled by a Republican Party that has already targeted the District.”

“We’re in a very weak position at the moment,” he said.

Nuñez said he hoped to work with Bowser and the council to find a way for the city to continue providing adults with health coverage regardless of immigration status.

Because, Nuñez said, no matter what happens with the budget, “the mayor is still going to have to deal with sick people in her jurisdiction … they’re still going to need access to health care.”

Supreme Court Unanimously Agrees To Curb Environmental Red Tape That Slows Down Construction Projects

The Supreme Court ruled in favor of a Utah railroad project on Thursday, setting a precedent that could make it easier to build things in the United States.

The case at hand—Seven County Infrastructure Coalition v. Eagle County—involved an 88-mile-long railroad track in an oil-rich and rural area of Utah. The project would have connected this area to the national rail network, making it easier and more efficient to transport crude oil extracted in the region to refineries in Gulf Coast states.

In 2020, a group of seven Utah counties known as the Seven Counties Infrastructure Coalition submitted its application to the federal Surface Transportation Board (STB) for the project. During its review process, the board conducted six public meetings and collected over 1,900 comments to produce an environmental impact statement (EIS)—which is required by the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA)—that spanned over 3,600 pages. The board approved the project's construction in 2021.

Before construction could begin, however, Eagle County, Colorado, and several environmental groups filed suit, challenging the STB's approval. Specifically, this coalition argued that the STB did not consider the downstream environmental effects of the project—such as increased oil drilling in Utah and refining in the Gulf Coast. The Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit agreed with the plaintiffs and vacated the railroad's construction approval.

In an 8–0 decision on Thursday (Justice Neil Gorsuch recused himself from the case), the Supreme Court overturned the lower court's ruling.

In its majority opinion, authored by Justice Brett Kavanaugh, the Court clarified that under NEPA the STB "did not need to evaluate potential environmental impacts of the separate upstream and downstream projects." The Court concluded that the "proper judicial approach for NEPA cases is straightforward: Courts should review an agency's EIS to check that it addresses the environmental effects of the project at hand. The EIS need not address the effects of separate projects."

This statement "is particularly significant for infrastructure projects, such as pipelines or transmission lines, and should help reduce NEPA's burdens (at least at the margins)," wrote Jonathan Adler, a law professor at the Case Western Reserve University School of Law, in The Volokh Conspiracy. "The opinion will also likely hamper any future efforts, perhaps by Democratic administrations, to expand or restore more fulsome (and burdensome) NEPA requirements."

One recent example is former President Joe Biden, who finalized rules requiring federal agencies to consider a project's impacts on climate change—a global issue that is incredibly complex and hard to forecast—in their NEPA analyses. The Trump administration recently rescinded this requirement.

Kavanaugh's opinion also clarified that courts should "afford substantial deference" to federal agencies in their EIS reviews and "should not micromanage" agency choices "so long as they fall within a broad zone of reasonableness."

This point could reduce one of the largest delays caused by NEPA: litigation. Since its passage in 1969, NEPA has been weaponized by environmental groups to stunt disfavored projects—which has disproportionately impacted clean energy projects. On average, these challenges delay a permitted project's start time by 4.2 years, according to The Breakthrough Institute.

The increased threat of litigation has forced federal agencies to better cover their bases, leading to longer and more expensive environmental reviews. With courts deferring more to agency decisions, litigation could be settled more quickly.

"NEPA has transformed from a modest procedural requirement into a blunt and haphazard tool employed by project opponents (who may not always be entirely motivated by concern for the environment) to try to stop or at least slow down new infrastructure and construction projects," wrote Kavanaugh. "All of that has led to more agency analysis of separate projects, more consideration of attenuated effects, more exploration of alternatives to proposed agency action, more speculation and consultation and estimation and litigation."

Projects that receive the necessary permits to start "often end up costing much more than is anticipated or necessary, both for the agency preparing the EIS and for the builder of the project," he added. "And that in turn means fewer and more expensive railroads, airports, wind turbines, transmission lines, dams, housing developments, highways, bridges, subways, stadiums, arenas, data centers, and the like."

For years, NEPA has delayed, or outright canceled, projects. The Court's decision could be a significant step in reducing the regulatory labyrinth that has stymied America's economy and environment.

US raises flag in Syria for first time in 13 years

DAMASCUS, Syria (AP) — An American flag was hoisted outside of the long-shuttered U.S. ambassador’s residence in Damascus on Thursday, in a sign of growing ties between Washington and the new Syrian government.

The U.S. ambassador to Turkey, Tom Barrack, who has also been appointed special envoy to Syria, arrived to inaugurate the residence, Syrian state-run news agency SANA reported.

He met with Syrian President Ahmad al-Sharaa and attended the signing of an agreement for a consortium of Qatari, Turkish and U.S. companies for development of a 5,000-megawatt energy project to revitalize much of Syria's war-battered electricity grid.

Under the deal signed Thursday, a consortium led by Qatar’s UCC Concession Investments — along with Power International USA and Turkey’s Kalyon GES Enerji Yatirimlari, Cengiz Enerji — will develop four combined-cycle gas turbines with a total generating capacity estimated at approximately 4,000 megawatts and a 1,000-megawatt solar power plant.

A statement sent out by UCC said that “once completed, these projects are expected to supply over 50% of the country's electricity needs.”

Washington hasn't formally reopened its embassy in Damascus, which closed in 2012 after protests against the government of then-President Bashar Assad, met by a brutal crackdown, spiraled into civil war. Assad was unseated in December in a lightning rebel offensive.

But Barrack’s visit and the raising of the flag were a significant signal of warming relations.

Washington was initially circumspect about Syria’s new leaders, led by Ahmad al-Sharaa, the former leader of an Islamist insurgent group that the U.S. still lists as a terrorist organization. However, the Trump administration — encouraged by two U.S. allies in the region, Saudi Arabia and Turkey — has in recent weeks shown increasing openness to Damascus.

Trump held a surprise meeting with al-Sharaa in Riyadh earlier this month, and the U.S. has begun to roll back decades of sanctions slapped on Syria under the Assad dynasty.

Speaking at the ceremony celebrating the signing of the energy deals, Barrack praised the “bold decision” to lift sanctions and said the move comes with “no conditions, no requirements."

There is only "one simple expectation and that expectation sits behind me, the alignment of these amazing countries,” he said, referring to the flags of the U.S., Qatar, Turkey and Syria behind him.

The U.S. State Department posted a statement on X on Thursday attributed to Trump announcing Barrack's appointment as envoy to Syria.

“Tom understands there is great potential in working with Syria to stop Radicalism, improve Relations, and secure Peace in the Middle East. Together, we will Make America, and the World, SAFE AGAIN!” the statement said.

Barrack thanked Trump in an X post for “your bold vision, empowering a historically rich region, long oppressed, to reclaim its destiny through self-determination.”

Pro-Trump nationalist wins Poland’s presidential election

A nationalist candidate backed by Donald Trump won Poland’s presidential election, defeating the centrist mayor of Warsaw in a blow to the country’s pro-European Union government.

Karol Nawrocki, a conservative historian and former boxer, won 50.9%, while Rafal Trzaskowski took 49.1%, according to Bloomberg News calculations based on data from 100% of precincts reported by the electoral commission.

In months of campaigning, the nationalist managed to close what had been a formidable lead by Trzaskowski in polls. The ballot is likely to determine whether one of the EU’s fastest-growing economies and one of Nato’s biggest defence spenders remains a reliable partner within the 27-member bloc, which is under mounting pressure from Trump’s tariffs and Russia’s threat to the east.

The narrow margin laid bare the polarisation that’s gripped the nation of 37 million, with issues such as migration, abortion and European integration sharply dividing voters. Nawrocki dismissed an early exit poll that showed Trzaskowski in the lead.

“We will wake up tomorrow with President Karol Nawrocki,” the nationalist told supporters soon after polls closed on Sunday.

There was 5yr goal of tens of millions+++ genocide & terminal disease from beginning of #COVID19 & #nanoweapons #vax #booster etc

EXCLUSIVE INTEL DROP: 1.5 MILLION DEAD – CERAMIDE BIOWEAPON OPERATION EXPOSED!

They told us the pandemic ended. They LIED.

As of May 29, 2025, the silent slaughter continues. Over 1.5 million Americans under 65 are DEAD — AFTER the virus vanished. The cause? mRNA injections AND ceramide-based nanoweapons deployed by the global elite in a FULL-SCALE biowarfare campaign.

Military insiders CONFIRM: ceramides — synthetic, lipid-based killers — are being dispersed via shots, food, air, and even infant formula. These neurotoxic agents destroy mitochondria, collapse organ systems, and leave no trace. Tasteless. Odorless. Invisible.

The mRNA shots were Phase One. Immune collapse. Turbo-cancers. Sterility. Cardiac arrests.

Ceramides are Phase Two. Autopsy reports now show lipid clotting, neurological decay, and organ shutdown. JAMA was forced to admit: 23% of all U.S. deaths in 2023 were “excess.” Not COVID. GENOCIDE.

Trump warned us.

Biden’s fake regime pushed poison, while Trump activated the takedown.

DARPA, Pfizer, NIH, and the UN are ALL implicated. Military tribunals are exposing vaccine payloads, aerosol deployment systems, and shell lab laundering.

This is not a public health failure — it’s a military-grade extermination.

The CDC, FDA, and NIH are compromised. BlackRock-funded pharma giants have weaponized medicine itself. Hospitals are executing patients for profit. Doctors silenced or bought.

Whistleblowers from Fort Detrick and Moderna have come forward.

Trump has greenlit DARPA declassifications confirming ceramide use for population control.

The numbers are not random:

820,000 excess deaths in 2022. 705,000 more in 2023.

This was PLANNED. Calculated. Approved.

Now, the GITMO tribunals are underway. Executives. Generals. Politicians.

Trump’s White Hats are inside enemy lines, dismantling this from within.

They didn’t expect resistance.

They didn’t expect TRUMP to return.

But now we know. And now WE FIGHT.

Ceramides are active. mRNA is irreversible. The war is REAL.

Protect yourself — the time is NOW.

NEVER FORGET. NEVER FORGIVE.

THEY WANTED US DEAD.

THEY FAILED.
