Enormous sea dragon fossil from 180 million years ago discovered in England

It's the biggest and most complete fossil of its kind ever discovered in the U.K.

The remains of a monstrous, 33-foot-long (10 meters) "sea dragon" that swam in the seas when dinosaurs were alive some 180 million years ago have been unearthed on a nature reserve in England. The behemoth is the biggest and most complete fossil of its kind ever discovered in the U.K.

"It is a truly unprecedented discovery and one of the greatest finds in British palaeontological history," excavation leader Dean Lomax, a paleontologist and visiting scientist at the University of Manchester, said in a statement.

Though many such ichthyosaurs have been found in the U.K., none have been as large as the current discovery.

Ichthyosaurs are an extinct order, or large group, of marine reptiles that evolved in the Triassic period about 250 million years ago and disappeared from the fossil record 90 million years ago, in the late Cretaceous period. They had long snouts and looked similar to modern-day dolphins.

The newly discovered fossil belonged to a large species of ichthyosaur called Temnodontosaurus trigonodon — the first time this species has appeared in the U.K. Joe Davis, a conservation team leader for the Leicestershire and Rutland Wildlife Trust, found the ichthyosaur on the Rutland Water Nature Reserve in the East Midlands in January 2021, according to the statement.

Davis was walking across a drained lagoon with Paul Trevor, who also works on the reserve for the trust, when he saw what appeared to be clay pipes sticking out of the mud and remarked to Trevor that they looked like vertebrae. Davis was familiar with sea creature bones, having previously found whale and dolphin skeletons while working on the Hebrides, a series of islands off northwest Scotland.

"We followed what indisputably looked like a spine and Paul [Trevor] discovered something further along that could have been a jawbone," Davis said. "We couldn't quite believe it."

Archaeologists excavated the fossil between August and September in 2021. The discovery will be featured on a British television series called "Digging for Britain," which airs in the U.K. on Tuesday (Jan. 11) on BBC Two.

Archaeologists are still studying and conserving the ichthyosaur fossil and scientific papers about the discovery will be published in the future, according to the statement, though no timeframe was given.

Military documents state that EcoHealth Alliance approached DARPA in March 2018 seeking funding to conduct gain of function research of bat borne coronaviruses. The proposal, named Project Defuse, was rejected by DARPA over safety concerns and the notion that it violates the gain of function research moratorium.

The main report regarding the EcoHealth Alliance proposal leaked on the internet a couple of months ago, it has remained unverified until now. Project Veritas has obtained a separate report to the Inspector General of the Department of Defense, written by U.S. Marine Corp Major, Joseph Murphy, a former DARPA Fellow.

“The proposal does not mention or assess potential risks of Gain of Function (GoF) research,” a direct quote from the DARPA rejection letter.

Project Veritas reached out to DARPA for comment regarding the hidden documents and spoke with the Chief of Communications, Jared Adams, who said, “It doesn’t sound normal to me,” when asked about the way the documents were buried.

‘If the Department of Defense felt this [gain-of-function] research was too dangerous to proceed with, why in the world did the NIH, NIAID and EcoHealth Alliance recklessly disregard the risks involved?’ O’Keefe asked his viewers.

On Tuesday morning Dr. Robert Malone, the inventor of the mRNA vaccine, and Dr. Naomi Wolf, a former Clinton adviser and democracy activist, joined Steve Bannon on The War Room to respond to the Project Veritas bombshell.

Dr. Malone called it “bigger than the Pentagon Papers.”

Dr. Wolf called it “manslaughter of millions of people coordinated at the highest levels.”

Florida Senator Marco Rubio lashed out at Intel after reports that it quietly bowed down to pressure from Beijing over alleged forced labor in Xinjiang.

“Intel’s cowardice is yet another predictable consequence of economic reliance on China,” Rubio said in a statement on Monday.

“Instead of humiliating apologies and self-censorship, companies should move their supply chains to countries that do not use slave labor or commit genocide,” Rubio said.

Intel sparked backlash and calls for a boycott in China last month when it wrote that it was “required to ensure that its supply chain does not use any labor or source goods or services from the Xinjiang region.”

The company later apologized “for the trouble caused to our respected Chinese customers, partners and the public.” Intel clarified that the wording of the letter meant to comply with US state regulations, rather than describe the company’s position on the issue.

A Polish Member of the European Parliament has said that Russia will get “a kick in the balls” if it tries to assert control of his country, after Moscow warned NATO was trying to fill the gap left by the fall of the USSR.

Radosław Sikorski, an MEP since 2019 and Poland’s former Minister of Foreign Affairs, wrote on Twitter on Monday, “get this, Russian Embassy, once and for all, in a language you can grasp. According to the memo released by Connecticut Department of Public Health on Jan 6, “Per the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), post-acute care includes long-term care hospitals (LTCHs), inpatient rehabilitation facilities (IRFs), skilled nursing facilities (SNFs), and home health (HH) agencies.”

“This guidance could also apply for assisted living facilities, residential care homes, and other congregate living settings,” the memo continued.

Those facilities “should be equipped to safely care for individuals with active COVID-19 who are ready for discharge from acute care,” according to the memo dated Jan. 6. Discharge cannot be delayed for pending test results, as nursing homes already have quarantine policies based on vaccination status.

The new guidance comes as more than 80% of nursing homes in Connecticut are reporting positive cases among residents and staff, The Connecticut Mirror reported. State health department data shows that more than 92% of residents aged 65 to 74 and 86.9% of those 75 or older are fully vaccinated.

However, early studies indicate vaccines do not offer as much protection against omicron, now the dominant variant in the U.S., as they have against previous versions of the coronavirus.

Matthew Barrett, the president and CEO of the Connecticut Association of Health Care Facilities, told The Mirror that the new state department policy should still allow nursing homes to reject COVID-19 patients if they are not equipped to care for them due to widespread staffing shortages.

A spokesperson for Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont told the newspaper that if nursing homes reject COVID-19 patients, the hospitals will still be responsible for finding another place for the person to stay.

According to CDC, “older adults are more likely to get very sick from COVID-19. Getting very sick means that older adults with COVID-19 might need hospitalization, intensive care, or a ventilator to help them breathe, or they might even die. The risk increases for people in their 50s and increases in 60s, 70s, and 80s. People 85 and older are the most likely to get very sick.”

Last November, a Covid outbreak at a Connecticut nursing home has killed 8 fully vaccinated residents and infected 89 others.

Among the 89 people infected at Geer Village Senior Community in Canaan, 87 were fully vaccinated.

China Offers Kazakhstan Assistance As President Says Afghan Militants Infiltrated Country

On Tuesday the Chinese Foreign Ministry issued a formal offer to its northwest neighbor Kazakhstan that it stands ready to give hasty assistance should it be requested, after the largest city of Almaty has been pacified by authorities after a week of severe unrest triggered by a fuel price hike, but which quickly targeted the rule of President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.

"China and Kazakhstan are friendly neighbors and permanent strategic partners. China maintains close cooperation with Kazakhstan and will provide assistance in accordance with the requests of the Kazakh party and within its capabilities," the ministry stated, as cited in Russian media.

"China adheres to a constructive approach regarding the measures facilitating pacification, economic development and improving the living standards of Kazakhstan's citizens," the ministry added.

While it's as yet unclear precisely what kind of assistance China is offering, it would possibly come in the form of peacekeeping troops such as the 3,000 Russian troops on the ground as of early this week, or more likely in as aid towards reconstruction efforts - given the devastation in many city centers after a week of riots in which government buildings were torched. Police advisory assistance could also be an option.

Last week as Kazakhstan was thrust into the international media spotlight, Chinese President Xi Jinping expressed support for embattled President Tokayev, crucially at a moment his security forces were given "shoot to kill without warning orders" against any armed threat in the streets.

According to the latest from the Kazakh Interior Ministry, at least 17 police and national guard have been killed, while nearly 10,000 arrests have been made. At least 168 people have also died nationwide amid the chaos and rioting.

On Monday Tokayev proclaimed that "an attempted coup d’etat" had been put down by the state. He described that foreign terror elements had entered the country to fuel the violence, even blaming militants from Afghanistan at one point.

According to the AFP, "Speaking with European Council President Charles Michel later Monday, Tokayev said militants from Central Asia, Afghanistan and the Middle East were behind the unrest."

Interestingly, the allegation of Afghan militants in the country comes after Russia and China warned the West that the US-NATO longtime war and occupation in Afghanistan could further destabilization the central Asian region following US forces' chaotic retreat from the country last August. Tens of thousands of Afghans are believed to have poured into neighboring countries amid chaos, including militants in some cases.

“The current Covid-19 vaccinations are no more effective at preventing Covid than Robitussin is a preventing a person from catching the common cold,” were the words spoken to Real Raw News by a former CDC research scientist who in October was fired for questioning agency protocol.

The source, who we’ll call Larry to protect his anonymity, had worked for the Deep State-funded agency for 12 years and was responsible for curating vaccine trial reports that Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson had sent the CDC for analysis and record keeping.

It was clear from the start, he said, that the CDC’s intent was to bury or misrepresent adverse reaction reports while pressuring Trump’s Covid-19 Task Force into believing that clinical trial results, which Big Pharma falsified, showed >95% efficacy at preventing a person from contracting the China virus. Big Pharma collectively injected the clot shot into the arms of 50,000 clinical trial participants; another 47,000 received placebos. Two percent—an alarming number–of the 50,000 developed severe adverse reactions to include myocarditis and pericarditis within 21 days of having received either their first or second jab.

Moreover, 85% of trial participants who got the medication and were intentionally exposed to Sars-Cov2 tested positive for Covid-19 within 4-14 days of having been exposed to the virus. In short, the vaccinations seemed to protect only 15% of recipients.

“The level of deception is shocking. But fact is, we can’t even trust the 15% figure, because with every disease, a segment of the population will have an inherent or natural immunity. We’ve seen this with Smallpox, Polio, and even Ebola. Some people have a biological resistance. It’s entirely possible that 5%, 10%, or even the 15% are immune to Sars-Cov2. It’s important to note that Big Pharma, the CDC, and the NIH pretty much operate as a single entity. They’re all in this together. So, when the CDC got the trial statistics, they had to muddy them. What sane person would risk taking a vaccine that causes sickness and maybe a 15% chance of protecting against an illness with less than a 1% mortality rate,” Larry said.

“The CDC knew early on, from the outbreak in Italy, that Covid-19 did not seriously sicken people who are generally healthy. It just didn’t happen. Some displayed symptoms of influenza or bronchitis, but it was brief and not life-threatening,” Larry added.

Prior to the genesis of Trump’s ill-conceived Operation Warp Speed, members of the CDC, NIH, FDA, and Big Pharma routinely held clandestine meetings to discuss ways of deceiving a potentially wary public to accept a fictitious narrative—get vaccinated or die—devised before vaccine trials had been completed.

He recalled seeing an internal CDC memo dated May 5, 2020. It claimed Phase-3 clinical trials of Moderna’s mRNA-1273 Covid-19 vaccine had irrefutably proven that the product was ~93.7% effective. Our source noted, however, that Moderna hadn’t begun Phase-3 trials until July 27,2020, and which it completed in October of that year. Therefore, the CDC and/or Big Pharma had arbitrarily fabricated the drug’s effectiveness long before clinical trials were finished.

“I believe the memo was widely circulated by mistake, cause it vanished from CDC servers the next day. It’s my opinion that there’s been a collaborative effort to pump that poison into as many people as possible regardless of how effective it is. Right now, the majority of people hospitalized have had one, two, or three shots. There are more vaccinated than unvaccinated in the hospitals. That is telling. The vaccines were never meant to stop Covid-19,” Larry said.

LA Times Columnist Says Mocking Anti-Vaxxers’ Deaths Is “Necessary”

The Los Angeles Times published an article by columnist Michael Hiltzik which says mocking the deaths of anti-vaxxers is “necessary”.

Yes, really.

As Chris Menahan notes, the URL of the original article suggests the first headline was even worse and that it was subsequently changed by an editor.

The first incarnation was called ‘Why Shouldn’t We Dance On The Graves of Anti-Vaxxers?’

Lovely.

The headline was changed to ‘Mocking anti-vaxxers’ deaths is ghoulish, yes — but necessary’.

Its final incarnation is now published as ‘Mocking anti-vaxxers’ COVID deaths is ghoulish, yes — but may be necessary’.

The constant watering down of the headline clearly suggests the newspaper was trying to minimize the inevitable backlash that would ensue.

The bulk of the piece focuses on mocking the death of conservative activist Kelly Ernby, who campaigned against mandatory COVID vaccines for children as a condition of going to school, but subsequently died from “COVID complications.”

“Kelly Ernby’s friends and family ask us to remember her for her career as a public servant and as a devoted spouse and mother. But let’s not mince words: Her campaigns against public health measures negated whatever good she may have done in her other endeavors,” writes Hiltzik.

“The policies Ernby advocated may well have contributed to the spread of COVID and to the damaging of the public health infrastructure in her own community. Even before this pandemic, she spoke out for measures that would threaten California schoolchildren with exposure to deadly childhood diseases. There were no scientific or medical grounds for her opposition to mandates; there was only political ideology.”

The columnist goes on to assert that the media should shine a spotlight on the deaths of people who ask questions about COVID vaccines and other lockdown measures, as if they don’t relentlessly do that anyway.

“But mockery is not necessarily the wrong reaction to those who publicly mocked anti-COVID measures and encouraged others to follow suit, before they perished of the disease the dangers of which they belittled,” he adds.

Imagine if people who campaigned against mandatory vaccinations mocked the deaths of people who died from vaccine side-effects?

They’d be treated as monsters by the media, as should Michael Hiltzik for his disgusting diatribe.
