After getting forced off an airplane for asking passengers who appeared to her to be Latino whether they were drug mules, a niece of former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie bit, kicked and spit on Jefferson Parish sheriff's deputies trying to detain her on Thanksgiving Day at Louis Armstrong International Airport, authorities said.

Shannon Epstein, 25, boarded the Spirit Airlines flight to New Jersey on Nov. 24 at about 6 a.m., and asked a family who were near her and whom she perceived to be Latino if they were "smuggling cocaine," said Capt. Jason Rivarde, a Sheriff's Office spokesperson. Airline workers requested Epstein be removed from the plane as she became increasingly irate, and the plane, which had started to taxi to the runway, returned to the gate, Rivarde said Friday.

When deputies arrived, Epstein refused to exit the jet bridge into the terminal, Rivarde said. When they tried to arrest her, she became "extremely combative," Rivarde said.

Six deputies hurt

In the scuffle, she injured six deputies, biting one on the arm and breaking the skin, and kicking another in the groin, Rivarde said. They were treated there by paramedics.

All the while, Epstein shouted that the deputies were going to lose their jobs or end up in jail, boasting that she was related to powerful people and that her uncle is a friend of former President Donald Trump, Rivarde said. Chris Christie did not return messages left Friday at two telephone numbers associated with him.

Authorities in a North Carolina county where 40,000 customers lost power say two power substations were damaged by gunfire Saturday night.

A gate at one of the locations also appears to have been taken off its hinges, Mike Cameron of the Southern Pines Fire and Rescue Department told CNN on Sunday afternoon.

The power outage in Moore County is being investigated as a “criminal occurrence” after crews found signs of potential vandalism at several locations, CNN previously reported.

FBI has joined the investigation, congressman says

More than 38,000 customers were without power across the county Sunday morning, according to the Duke Energy outage map. According to poweroutage.us, about 41,000 customers had lost power in Moore County and neighboring Hoke County.

Crews were experiencing “multiple equipment failures” that are affecting substations in Moore County, Duke Energy spokesman Jeff Brooks told CNN affiliate WRAL.

“We are also investigating signs of potential vandalism related to the outages,” Brooks said.

President Joe Biden has agreed to end the US military's COVID-19 vaccine mandate, House GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy suggested on Sunday.

McCarthy, who is expected to be House Speaker in the new Congress, told Fox News' Sunday Morning Futures that he spoke with the president about a provision to end the rule included in this year's annual defense budget.

Republicans have been pushing for months to end the military's two-jab rule, arguing that its depletion of America's fighting forces presents a threat to national security.

Now that they've secured a narrow House majority for next year, McCarthy said he made clear to Biden that there will need to be areas of 'compromise' for any hope of legislative success.

'I had a meeting with the president, I laid out very clearly what the difference will be with a new Republican majority,' McCarthy said.

'Through what is the [National Defense Authorization Act], the national defense bill, we will secure lifting the vaccine mandates on our military.'

The California Republican said he was 'very clear' with Biden on House Republican priorities - like holding the NDAA hostage until the vaccine rule repeal is included.

'The bill will not move' if the language isn't in it, McCarthy promised.

'I've been very clear with the president. The president...worked with me on this.'

He continued, 'This is the first sign of having divided government. You've got some compromise here. And we've got something that the Republicans have been working very hard on, and a number of Democrats too, trying to find success, but one party rule would never allow that to go forward. And now we're going to have success.'

Last week a group of Republican senators sent a letter to their leaders including Mitch McConnell telling them they would not consider the NDAA without first taking a vote on a measure to end the military vaccine mandate.

More than 3,000 troops have been rendered inactive as of this past April with the rule going into effect, according to the letter co-led by Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul.

Lawmakers claim the Pentagon's COVID-19 vaccine mandate 'has ruined the livelihoods of men and women who have honorably served our country.'

The two-jab COVID rule was first announced in late August on the order of Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin.

Republicans in response began sounding the alarm on how the rule would exacerbate the existing military staffing shortage - which is only projected to get worse in the next few years.

'The United States simply cannot afford to discharge our brave men and women in uniform and lose the investments we have made into each and every one of them due to an inept bureaucratic policy,' the letter states.

A top House Democrat confirmed to Politico at the Reagan National Defense Forum on Saturday that a rollback of the COVID rule is in consideration.

'We haven’t resolved it, but it is very fair to say that it’s in discussion,' Rep. Adam Smith reportedly said.

The Washington Democrat pointed out that he was very much in favor of the mandate and other COVID-19 pandemic precautions that were put in place at the time at the urging of the medical community.

'But at this point in time, does it make sense to have that policy from August 2021? That is a discussion that I am open to and that we’re having,' Smith reportedly said

One of the high-level Twitter executives who reportedly played “a key role” in the company’s decision to censor The Post’s bombshell story on Hunter Biden’s laptop has a long history of being accused of suppressing conservative voices.

Twitter’s former top lawyer Vijaya Gadde was singled out in an explosive Twitter thread on Friday by independent journalist Matt Taibbi, who purportedly obtained communications between top officials at the social media company in the wake of The Post’s October 2020 story on Hunter Biden’s abandoned laptop.

“The decision was made at the highest levels of the company, but without the knowledge of CEO Jack Dorsey, with former head of legal, policy and trust Vijaya Gadde playing a key role,” Taibbi wrote after reviewing internal company communications for a report he dubbed “The Twitter Files.”

Gadde has long been derided by conservatives as the company’s “chief censor.”

New Twitter owner and CEO Elon Musk has criticized her in the past, accusing her of blocking The Post’s Hunter Biden coverage even before Friday’s revelations.

She was reportedly the main force behind the decision to permanently ban then-President Donald Trump from the platform after the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol riot.

The 48-year-old Gadde, who earned $17 million in salary at the company last year, broke down in tears in April when addressing colleagues about the future of Twitter once Musk moved to takeover the company.

Republican Missouri Sen. Josh Hawley pointed out on Twitter at the time that the tearful Gadde was “the same one who led the charge to censor the Hunter Biden laptop reporting. Says it all.”

Trade unionists and leftists marched after the new government promised more arms for Kiev next year

Left-wing demonstrators took to the streets in Rome on Saturday, demanding higher wages and condemning the Italian government for renewing a decree allowing it to send weapons to Ukraine until 2024.

Organized by Italy’s USB trade union and backed by a number of leftist political factions, the protest saw thousands of people assemble at the Piazza della Repubblica and march behind a banner reading “guns down, wages up."

“The Meloni government is dragging us further and further into a spiral of war with unpredictable outcomes,” the USB wrote prior to the protest. “Italy is evidently a belligerent and active country in the conflict, despite the fact that the great majority of the population is against the war and the consequent sharp increase in military spending.”

Italy’s new prime minister, Giorgia Meloni, issued a decree on Thursday allowing her cabinet to continue sending weapons to Ukraine until the end of 2023 without seeking the formal approval of parliament. Her predecessor, Mario Draghi, was a staunch supporter of Kiev and lost power after a disagreement over arms shipments split the largest party in his coalition government, the Five Star Movement.

The Italian public is split too, with 49% opposing sending weapons to Kiev and 38% in favor, according to a poll taken by EuroWeek News last month. Additionally, 49% of Italians believe that Ukraine needs to make concessions to Russia in the ongoing conflict to speed up the peace process, while only 36% want Kiev to keep fighting.

Last month, another rally in Rome calling for a peace deal to end the Ukrainian conflict drew 100,000 people, organizers said.

The country has been gripped by violent protests after the death of a woman who allegedly wore an “improper” hijab

Iran has disbanded its morality police, Mohammad Jafar Montazeri, the nation’s attorney general, confirmed on Saturday. This comes as the country has been embroiled in weeks of violent anti-government protests over the death of a young woman detained by the force.

Montazeri said that while the institution had been abolished,authorities will “continue to monitor behavioral actions at the community level.”

On Thursday, the attorney general stated that Iranian officials were reviewing whether they needed to change the law requiring women to cover their heads.

The morality police was established in 2005 to control how people comply with Islamic rules regarding their clothes and behavior. It was sanctioned by the EU, US and the UK over the death of a 22-year-old woman named Mahsa Amini, who was arrested over allegedly wearing an “improper” hijab and died hours later.

Iran has seen weeks of violent protests that erupted in mid-September over the death of Amini. While the Iranian authorities claim that she died of a pre-existing medical condition, her family insists she was beaten to death while in custody.

According to figures released by Iran’s Supreme National Security Council, the riots have claimed the lives of more than 200 people. Earlier this week, Brigadier General Amirali Hajizadeh, who serves with the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps put the total death toll during the unrest at “more than 300 people.”

Iranian officials have accused foreign players, especially the US and Israel, of inciting violence and trying to destabilize the country.

An Arizona polygamist cult leader has been accused of marrying more than 20 women, most under the age of 15 — reportedlyincluding his own daughter.

An FBI affidavit filed Friday in Washington, and obtained by the Salt Lake Tribune. contains horrifying accusations against Samuel Rappylee Bateman, 46, ofincest, group sex acts involving adults and children– some as young as 9 — and child sex trafficking.

Bateman leads an offshoot group of the Mormon Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints, but has been held in an Arizona jail since the FBI raided his two Colorado City homes in September.

Agents looked for evidence of underage marriages or sexual relationships between adults and children, according to the Tribune.

According to the Tribune, Bateman’s family told investigators in early 2019 that he had felt prompted to take his own teenage daughter as his wife.

While Bateman has not been charged with sexual abuse, the affidavit claims the FBI has probable cause to believe he and others transported minors between Arizona, Utah, Nevada and Nebraska to engage in illicit sexual conduct between May 2020 and November 2021.

The UN and human rights bodies are turning a blind eye to reports of sexual exploitation of female Ukrainian refugees in Sweden, the spokeswoman for the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, has said.

The police have been investigating some 20 such cases, but many more offenses remain unreported, according to the agency. There has also been a rise in the number of prostitutes from Ukraine in Sweden since the outbreak of the conflict between Kiev and Moscow in late February, it added.

The statement was widely reported by the Swedish media, “but no reaction from Kiev or the international community followed,” the spokeswoman pointed out.

The UN and human rights bodies, however, “are silent because it’s not in their rules to draw attention to a real humanitarian problem; or because they are performing yet another political order,” Zakharova said. She added that neither option looked good.

The spokeswoman also advised Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba to stop attacking Moscow and switch his attention to Stockholm.

Patten previously acknowledged during a prank call that her harsh “rape” claims concerning the Russian military were based solely on what Ukrainian officials had told her and that she didn’t have any actual proof to back them up.

FBI Held Weekly Calls with Big Tech Before 2020 Election and Provided List of URLs Pushing “Disinformation” for Big Tech to Censor

The FBI worked with social media to kill the Hunter laptop story before the 2020 election.

These goons running the FBI are not on the side of the people. Their job is to run cover for crooked politicians and put good people who shine the light on their crimes behind bars.

The Gateway Pundit previously reported in May that the Missouri and Louisiana Attorneys General filed a lawsuit (Missouri v. Biden) against the Biden Administration, including Joe Biden himself, Anthony Fauci, the Department of Homeland Security and nearly a dozen federal agencies and Secretaries.

The suit alleges a massive coordinated effort by the Deep State, the permanent administrative state, to work with Big Tech to censor and manipulate Americans – from average citizens to news outlets – on issues including the Hunter Biden Laptop from Hell, 2020 Election Integrity, COVID-19 origin and extent skepticism, COVID-19 vaccine skepticism, among other issues.

Last week the Attorneys General interviewed FBI Agent Elvis Chan. This interview was very revealing. It showed that our FBI is totally corrupt and one-sided.

Attorney General and soon-to-be US Senator from Missouri, Eric Schmitt shared on the deposition.

Elvis Chan revealed that “we found that the FBI plays a big role in working with social media companies to censor speech – from weekly meetings with social media companies ahead of the 2020 election to asks for account takedowns”.

Chan also revealed that “the FBI’s FITF, and senior CISA officials had meetings with social media companies in the lead-up to the 2020 election”. The full extent of these meetings has not been revealed.

Schmitt shared that: “Chan stated that the FBI regularly sent social media companies lists of URLs and social media accounts that should be taken down because they were disinformation from “malign foreign influence operations.” The FBI then inquired whether the platforms have taken down the content.”

We do not know who these accounts were or what the real reason was for taking them down. We also don’t know how many supported President Trump and how many supported Joe Biden but we have a pretty good guess on this.

Chan also revealed that the meetings with the FBI were weekly.

Many times social media would take down the accounts flagged by the FBI.

Shortly before the 2022 primaries, the FBI sent out Agent Chan to tell Americans that the FBI was protecting elections the 2022 election cycle. (We see how well the elections were protected for Democrats, especially in Arizona, didn’t we?)

The FBI is corrupt to the core. They worked with corrupt individuals at social media companies. They have no regard for Americans’ free speech rights. They don’t care. They only support far-left liberal and now communist actors in politics.

They shared that they were protecting America from its enemies and instead they were protecting America’s enemies from Americans.

A rally organized to out activism that encourages children to question their gender identity and sexual orientation has inspired fury.

Now, threats of a rage-filled counter-protest have rally organizers requesting law enforcement officers to attend their planned gathering on Dec. 3 at a beach in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Conflict bubbled up after three very different groups organized the Protect the Children rally to display solidarity against policies aimed at sexualizing children, alienating them from their parents, and helping them pursue gender-transition treatment. They plan to gather at Fort Lauderdale Beach on the corner of Las Olas Boulevard at 11 a.m.

Local chapters of Moms for Liberty, Fathers for Freedom, and Gays Against Groomers wanted to come together to peacefully speak against “radicalized sexual curriculum, gender ideology, child grooming, parental alienation, and ‘gender-affirming care,'” said Eulalia Jimenez, president of the Moms for Liberty Miami chapter.

But when Antifa members heard of the gathering, they urged their peers in Twitter posts to “confront this hatred” and “protest against hate.” They referred to Protect the Children rally organizers as “fascists” proliferating “stochastic terrorism,” and spread fliers that read, “We can’t allow this kind of bigotry to go unchecked.”

The term “stochastic terrorism” refers to public demonization through so-called “hate speech,” which some say can be used to incite violence against a person or group.

New Zealand's government health service has applied to remove guardianship of a 4-month-old baby boy from his parents after they demanded that his life-saving surgery can proceed only with blood that does not contain the COVID-19 vaccine.

Health New Zealand, also known as Te Whatu Ora, made a court application Monday with the Auckland High Court to transfer guardianship under the Care of Children Act so the baby can receive the operation, according to court documents reported by the New Zealand Herald.

The baby's parents recently explained their position during an interview with Liz Gunn, a broadcaster from New Zealand who has raised concerns about the safety of COVID-19 vaccines.

Explaining how their son has severe pulmonary valve stenosis and needs surgery "almost immediately," the parents said they are "extremely concerned with the blood [the doctors] are going to use."

Federal agents say the eight girls who ran away from group homes in Arizona late last month were found hiding out at the Airbnb in Spokanewith one of their older sister-wives, Moretta Rose Johnson, 19, who is now facing federal kidnapping charges.

None of the young girls have since admitted to federal investigators that they were sexually abused by Bateman, the head of a Mormon offshoot called the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, or FLDS.

But investigators found that in their journals,the girls would describe 'sleeping with Bateman, kissing him and touching him.' They now believe that the young girls were coached by some of the older wives not to speak with investigators.

Still, the girls are said to have remained in contact with their older sister-wives, who worked with Bateman to help them escape and 'bring them home.'

Senator Ron Johnson joined Maria Bartiromo earlier today on Sunday Morning Futures.

Seantor Johnson always brings the red meat to his interviews. Today’s interview was not the exception.

The Wisconsin senator claimed that Elon Musk’s admission of censorship of the Hunter Biden laptop was “just part of a much larger story” on the censorship of conservatives in the US today.

In a previous appearance on the program Ron Johnson accused Joe Biden of funneling money to his son Hunter Biden to pay for the Eastern European prostitutes involved in a possible human trafficking ring.

Of course, Biden’s Attorney General Merrick Garland is covering up all of these crimes and ignoring this lawlessness by the First Family.

Johnson also went after the regime’s social experiments in the US military.

The story’s reach was quickly limited on Twitter and Facebook over fears that it could have been the product of hacking or a Russian disinformation attempt.

But Republicans have accused Twitter of being motivated by political bias by suppressing a story that was harmful to the Biden campaign just weeks before his White House victory.

‘Listen, I appreciate what Mr. Musk is doing here. It’s certainly revealing an awful lot about that particular censorship. But you know… Senator Grassley and my investigation, Hunter Biden was hampered really, as soon as it started,’ Johnson told Fox News’ Sunday Morning Futures.

On the House side, GOP Leader Kevin McCarthy called for investigations into Google and Facebook as well.

‘These now have become arms of the Democratic Party, arms of the Biden administration,’ McCarthy told Sunday Morning Futures before Johnson’s appearance.

‘But they also used the intel community as well to lie to the American public. Should those people keep their clearances? Should those people still be allowed to have information? If they’re going to be political individuals then no, they should not. And this is just the tip of the iceberg of what we need to investigate going forward.’

According to information coming out now, the FBI was surveilling Rudy Giuliani for two years and watching his email. In 2020 they saw his emails to/from John Mac Isaac and to/from Miranda Divine and Steve Bannon and knew the laptop story was coming and when the New York Post was going to release it.

The FBI went to Twitter and “pre-seeded” the idea to them that there was going to be “hacked material” for Russia relating to Hunter and Joe Biden and they needed to deal with it accordingly. No doubt that the FBI went to Facebook and Google as well.

This was massive collusion involving corrupt Democrat politicians, Big Tech, and the FBI.

Despite the tensions in the world and the economic threats, some profoundly hopeful notes were sounded from the halls of the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in Tianjin this week, particularly among the social entrepreneurs in attendance. More than ever before, we have been integrated into the fabric of the discussions and the infrastructure of the sessions. This level of integration reflects a new level of recognition for the social sector. As the field matures, we need to initiate a dialogue about the definitional focus of the term “social entrepreneur.”

For decades the field has focused on start-up phase entrepreneurs. Most of the awards and media attention are directed to the newest enterprises. For a long time this made sense because, frankly, that was all there was. But our focus on start-ups eliminates two important categories that are critical to the evolution of the field – and to reaching our broader goals:

1. Second stage social entrepreneurs. The early pioneers are evolving into new roles. In some cases they are building new enterprises, in others they are pioneering new revenue strategies, or stepping into academic roles. The social sector needs to expand its focus to elevate the role of this critical group of social innovators for two reasons: First – these are the people who were establishing the leading innovations when the field was new and are most likely to bring wisdom and experience to the new frontiers. Secondly, by focusing on the newest models so exclusively, we fail to assist people who are navigating the issues that confront more mature organizations, including sustainability and succession planning. These issues will make or break institutions at precisely the point when they are reaching the scale necessary to contribute significantly to social change.

2. Social innovators who sit at the helm of large institutions. There is also a new — but still too rare — breed of leaders who have taken the helm of large existing institutions and yet remain committed to social innovation. This is a critical group of people who can determine whether social sector organizations attain their full impact. My organization, First Book, provides a great example of this dynamic. Our efforts to elevate the number and quality of books and resources available to classrooms serving children in need will never reach significant impact levels without innovators at the helm of teacher organizations. In partnership with innovators like Randi Weingarten, President of the American Federation of Teachers, First Book will reach millions of children. Our failure to recognize people of her caliber, and include them in our community will necessarily limit the scale of our impact.

So consider this a shout out for a bigger tent approach to the question of ‘who is a social entrepreneur?’
