Confirmed: New Study Reveals Disposable Face Masks Contain Four Times the Acceptable Carcinogen Exposure Levels

A recent study confirmed disposable face masks released dangerous levels of the carcinogen titanium dioxide (TiO2).

The masks were required by Dr. Fauci and his cronies during the COVID pandemic.

The study found that the TiO2 levels exceeded the acceptable exposure level by four times or more.

Although titanium dioxide (TiO2) is a suspected human carcinogen when inhaled, fiber-grade TiO2 (nano)particles were demonstrated in synthetic textile fibers of face masks intended for the general public.

STEM-EDX analysis on sections of a variety of single use and reusable face masks visualized agglomerated near-spherical TiO2 particles in non-woven fabrics, polyester, polyamide and bi-component fibers. Median sizes of constituent particles ranged from 89 to 184 nm, implying an important fraction of nano-sized particles (< 100 nm). The total TiO2 mass determined by ICP-OES ranged from 791 to 152,345 µg per mask. The estimated TiO2 mass at the fiber surface ranged from 17 to 4394 µg, and systematically exceeded the acceptable exposure level to TiO2 by inhalation (3.6 µg), determined based on a scenario where face masks are worn intensively. No assumptions were made about the likelihood of the release of TiO2 particles itself, since direct measurement of release and inhalation uptake when face masks are worn could not be assessed. The importance of wearing face masks against COVID-19 is unquestionable. Even so, these results urge for in depth research of (nano)technology applications in textiles to avoid possible future consequences caused by a poorly regulated use and to implement regulatory standards phasing out or limiting the amount of TiO2 particles, following the safe-by-design principle.

Virginia Judge Rules Kids Can Buy Sexually Explicit Books Without Parental Consent in an Easy Win for Groomers

McCarthy vote-splitter Tommy Altman filed the "futile" lawsuit during campaign season, distracting from the pro-trans record of GOP'er Jen Kiggans.

A Virginia judge has ruled that kids can purchase sexually explicit books without parental consent; a headline-grabbing victory for the pro-groomer left brought on by a vote-splitting candidate’s lawsuit against Barnes and Noble. The suit, filed by ex-2nd District GOP Primary candidate Tommy Altman, is being blasted by his Trump-aligned former opponent Jarome Bell, for having been a futile effort from the start.

Judge Pamela Baskervil dismissed a lawsuit today in Virginia Beach against the Barnes and Noble bookstore chain, claiming in her ruling that Virginia’s obscenity laws cannot be applied to sales the books of “Gender Queer” and “A Court of Mist and Fury” under constitutional due process.

Attorney Tim Anderson, who took the case to court, argued that materials targeting children should be held to a higher obscenity standard than those meant for adults, but Judge Baskervil ruled that the court couldn’t set those standards on behalf of the state. Altman and Anderson had previously sought a restraining order on the sale of the books but withdrew that request before the obscenity hearing.

Another portion of the case, which targeted the book “Gender Queer” in Virginia Beach Schools, was deemed “moot” by the court because parent groups unrelated to the suit have already successfully fought to have it removed from library shelves.

Anderson, who also serves as a GOP Delegate in Virginia’s legislature, said in a statement that future actions may be needed from the General Assembly to modify Virginia’s obscenity laws as they apply to children if similar cases are to advance.

The lawsuit to restrict the book sales to kids was filed earlier this year by Virginia Beach resident and former Congressional candidate Tommy Altman, in the midst of his 2nd District GOP Primary run. Altman was the subject of much controversy during the campaign and was accused of running as controlled opposition for establishment pick Jen Kiggans.

Altman’s lawsuit raising the issue of obscene books served as a distraction from Kiggans’ pro-trans legislative record, which was blasted by Trump-aligned candidate Jarome Bell and extensively reported on by National File.

“Mr. Altman is reviewing his appeal options,” attorney Tim Anderson wrote in a Facebook post addressing the court’s decision, before floating potential action by the State Legislature.

“Fundamentally, my client believes there should be a different standard of obscenity for children than currently exists for adults, but that will require review by higher courts to conclusively answer this question and possibly additions to the code by the General Assembly.”

The mystery of what happened before an EY employee plummeted to her death from the balcony of her Sydney office has deepened - as investigators receive more information about when she left work and returned to the building.

Initial reports indicated the 33-year-old worker attended a function at the CBD's ivy nightclub from 5.30pm to 7.30pm on Friday before making the short walk back to the accountancy firm, where she was found dead about 12.30am.

However, Daily Mail Australia understands investigators have since determined the woman actually left her office building at 7.30pm and may not have returned until about 20minutes before the incident.

Police have determined the woman used her security swipe card to access a secure patio on the building's upper floors.

The revised timeline has raised questions about what, if anything, occurred during the woman's final five hours, and how long she spent at the bar.

Engineers Solve Data Glitch on NASA’s Voyager 1

A critical system aboard the probe was sending garbled data about its status. Engineers have fixed the issue but are still seeking the root cause.

Engineers have repaired an issue affecting data from NASA’s Voyager 1 spacecraft. Earlier this year, the probe’s attitude articulation and control system (AACS), which keeps Voyager 1’s antenna pointed at Earth, began sending garbled information about its health and activities to mission controllers, despite operating normally. The rest of the probe also appeared healthy as it continued to gather and return science data.

The team has since located the source of the garbled information: The AACS had started sending the telemetry data through an onboard computer known to have stopped working years ago, and the computer corrupted the information.

Suzanne Dodd, Voyager’s project manager, said that when they suspected this was the issue, they opted to try a low-risk solution: commanding the AACS to resume sending the data to the right computer.

Engineers don’t yet know why the AACS started routing telemetry data to the incorrect computer, but it likely received a faulty command generated by another onboard computer. If that’s the case, it would indicate there is an issue somewhere else on the spacecraft. The team will continue to search for that underlying issue, but they don’t think it is a threat to the long-term health of Voyager 1.

“We’re happy to have the telemetry back,” said Dodd. “We’ll do a full memory readout of the AACS and look at everything it’s been doing. That will help us try to diagnose the problem that caused the telemetry issue in the first place. So we’re cautiously optimistic, but we still have more investigating to do.”

Voyager 1 and Voyager 2 have been exploring our solar system for 45 years. Both probes are now in interstellar space, the region outside the heliopause, or the bubble of energetic particles and magnetic fields from the Sun.

What began as a simple loyalty program for grocers in the Midwest grew into one of the largest service providers of frequent shopper / buyer programs across a variety of retail and hospitality sectors.

Carlson expanded his offerings by purchasing the downtown Minneapolis Radisson Hotel in 1960 and building it into a national chain. He also acquired TGI Fridays, Carlson Leisure Group and hundreds of other hospitality businesses.

The Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota is named for him, in recognition of his $25 million gift, the largest single donation to a public university at that time.[8] Curt Carlson created an estate in Lake Nebagamon, Wisconsin which was later converted to a business resort for corporations.

It was revealed that Boston Children’s Hospital was promoting “gender affirming” surgeries for minors through a video series on their YouTube channel. These videos showed doctors giving details on cosmetic surgeries that have extremely high rates of complication, such a double mastectomies for healthy breasts, full hysterectomy of healthy reproductive systems, the reshaping of penile tissue to appear as the genitals of the opposite sex, and the shaping of “flaps” or pieces of flesh from arms or legs into phalluses that are then surgically added to females.

National Security Search Engine: Google’s Ranks are Filled with CIA Agents

Google – one of the largest and most influential organizations in the modern world – is filled with ex-CIA agents. Studying employment websites and databases, MintPress has ascertained that the Silicon Valley giant has recently hired dozens of professionals from the Central Intelligence Agency in recent years. Moreover, an inordinate number of these recruits work in highly politically sensitive fields, wielding considerable control over how its products work and what the world sees on its screens and in its search results.

Chief amongst these is the trust and safety department, whose staff, in the words of then Google trust and safety vice president Kristie Canegallo, “[d]ecide what content is allowed on our platform” – in other words, setting the rules of the internet, determining what billions see and what they do not see. Before Google, Canegallo had been President Obama’s Deputy White House Chief of Staff for Implementation and is currently Chief of Staff at the Department of Homeland Security.

“We lied, we cheated, we stole”

Many of the team helping Canegallo make calls on what content should be allowed in Google searches and on platforms like YouTube were former CIA employees. For example:

Jacqueline Lopour spent more than ten years at the CIA, where she served as “a leading U.S. Government expert on security challenges in South Asia and the Middle East and the go-to writer of quickly needed papers for the U.S. President.” She joined Google in 2017 and is currently a senior intelligence collection and trust and safety manager.

Ryan Fugit spent eight years as a CIA officer. Then, in 2019, Google convinced him to leave and become a senior manager of trust and safety.

As a director of trust and safety, Bryan Weisbard led teams that adjudicated “the most sensitive YouTube trust and safety escalations globally” and “enforced” the most “urgent and highest priority” misinformation and sensitive content decisions. Between 2006 and 2010, he was an intelligence officer with the CIA. He is now a director at Facebook.

Like Lopour and Lazarus, Nick Rossman concentrated on Iraq while he was a CIA analyst (2009-2014). Since January, he has been a senior manager in Google’s trust and safety division.

Jacob Barrett, Google’s global lead for safe browsing operations, was an analytic lead and open source officer at the CIA between 2007 and 2013.

A 12-year CIA political and leadership analyst, Michelle Toborowski, left the agency in 2019 to take a job as the intelligence analyst lead in trust and safety at YouTube.

The problem with former CIA agents becoming the arbiters of what is true and what is false and what should be promoted and what should be deleted is that they cut their teeth at a notorious organization whose job it was to inject lies and false information into the public discourse to further the goals of the national security state. John Stockwell, former head of a CIA task force, explained on camera how his organization infiltrated media departments the world over, created fake newspapers and news agencies, and planted fake news about Washington’s enemies. “I had propagandists all over the world,” he said, adding,

We pumped dozens of stories about Cuban atrocities, Cuban rapists [to the media]… We ran [faked] photographs that made almost every newspaper in the country… We didn’t know of one single atrocity committed by the Cubans. It was pure, raw, false propaganda to create an illusion of communists eating babies for breakfast.”

This continues to this day, with the CIA promoting dubious stories about the so-called “Havana Syndrome” and how the Russian government was supposedly offering money to the Taliban to kill U.S. soldiers.

Beth Schmierer worked as a strategic analyst for the CIA between 2006 and 2011. She then became a political officer at the State Department. She joined Google in January as a global threat analyst and is now an Americas intelligence manager for the company.

Toni Hipp joined Google as a global threat team manager (intelligence) in 2017 and is now a global affairs and public policy manager in strategy and operations. Before joining Google, she spent nearly six years at the CIA as a foreign policy analyst.

Jamie W. is the director of threat assessment for Google and the company’s former global intelligence manager. Before Google, she held a number of senior positions in the CIA, including chief of targeting for the near east region. Before her 13-year stint in the CIA, she also worked as an analyst for the FBI.

Meaghan Gruppo worked as an intelligence analyst and public affairs officer at the CIA from 2008 until 2014. Since 2018, she has worked in security risk analysis and threat management for Google.

Clinton Dallas’ LinkedIn profile notes that, until December, he was a CIA officer. In January of this year, he became a risk programs specialist at Google.

The professional background of so many of its security and risk management staff may go a long way to explaining why Google seems focused on countering threats from official enemy states of the United States. The company’s Threat Analysis blog is full of published reports about state-backed efforts from Iran, North Korea, Russia and China to influence its platform. But it never seems to detect any nefarious activities from the U.S. government.

This is despite the fact that the United States is carrying out the largest and most extensive attempt in history to manipulate the internet. A long exposé in Newsweek last year detailed how the Pentagon alone fields a clandestine army of at least 60,000 individuals whose job it is to ruthlessly run national security state propaganda campaigns online. Calling it “the largest undercover force the world has ever known.” The exposé explained that,

​These are the cutting-edge cyber fighters and intelligence collectors who assume false personas online, employing ‘nonattribution’ and ‘misattribution’ techniques to hide the who and the where of their online presence while they search for high-value targets and collect what is called ‘publicly accessible information’—or even engage in campaigns to influence and manipulate social media.”

A spook in every department

Google employs ex-CIA agents in a myriad of different departments, a selection of which includes:

Michael Barlett. Between 2007 and 2017, Barlett was chief of operations at the CIA. Since 2019, he has worked as a risk lead in workforce solutions for Google.

Nicole Menkhoff. Menkhoff spent more than ten years as a weapons analyst at the CIA. In February 2015, she left the CIA for Google, where she was a senior human resources business partner and later became engineering chief of staff.

Candice Bryant. Bryant spent nearly 17 years at the CIA, where she rose to become its chief of public communications. In September, she was headhunted from the CIA by Google to become its executive communications manager.

Kyle Foster. Foster spent six years at the agency, then four more at the CIA’s venture capitalist wing, In-Q-Tel. He left In-Q-Tel in 2016 for a job as a software engineer at Google.

Joanna Gillia. Gillia was a leadership analyst at the CIA until 2014, the same year she took a job with Google. She worked in staffing until 2020.

Katherine Tobin. Tobin was a CIA branch chief between 2014 and 2018. She is now head of workspace innovation for Google.

Christine Lei. Lei left her job as an economic intelligence analyst for the CIA in 2015 for the post of executive compensation manager at Google, where she continues to work to this day.

Justin Schuh. Schuh retired last year after 11 years as engineering director for Google Chrome. Before Google, however, he had a long career in national security, working as an intelligence analyst for the U.S. Marine Corps, a global network exploitation analyst for the NSA, and a technical operations officer for the CIA.

Tom Franklin. Franklin worked as a program manager at the CIA between 2011 and 2013. Between 2015 and 2021, he was a product manager for Google.

Katherine Pham. According to her LinkedIn profile, Pham did “some cool stuff” at the CIA in 2016. Since October, she has been a software engineer for Google.

Alina Habba says defense team also considering taking court action over leaks.

Former President Donald Trump's attorney said Tuesday that the former president will likely challenge the legality of the FBI's search of his home based on the Fourth Amendment.

AlinaHabba spoke on "The Sean Hannity Show" alongside Just the News Editor-in-Chief John Solomon.

Host Sean Hannity asked Habba about the former president's legal path forward in the ongoing case surrounding his possession of government documents at his Florida estate.

"In terms of what we do in the future, you know, there's this Fourth Amendment like you brought up, there's a fourth amendment issue here; the warrant was way too broad," she said, before pointing to the judge in the case as a pivotal factor.

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon will preside over the case in place of Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart, who approved the FBI's search warrant. Former President Donald Trump's attorney said Tuesday that the former president will likely challenge the legality of the FBI's search of his home based on the Fourth Amendment.

AlinaHabba spoke on "The Sean Hannity Show" alongside Just the News Editor-in-Chief John Solomon.

Host Sean Hannity asked Habba about the former president's legal path forward in the ongoing case surrounding his possession of government documents at his Florida estate.

"In terms of what we do in the future, you know, there's this Fourth Amendment like you brought up, there's a fourth amendment issue here; the warrant was way too broad," she said, before pointing to the judge in the case as a pivotal factor.

U.S. District Judge Aileen Cannon will preside over the case in place of Magistrate Judge Bruce Reinhart, who approved the FBI's search warrant. Trump appointed Cannon to the bench in 2020 and she has already signaled she will likely grant his request to appoint a "special master" to review the documents the FBI took from Mar-a-Lago.

US Army Grounds Entire Fleet Of Chinook Helicopters After Reports Of "Engine Fires"

WSJ reported one of the US Army's top heavy-lift helicopters was grounded in the last 24 hours due to a risk of engine fires.

US officials said the Boeing CH-47 Chinook helicopter fleet (about 400 helicopters) had been grounded after numerous engine fires were reported. One of the officials said no injuries or deaths occurred during any of the incidents. They said the latest occurred a few days ago.

The US Army Materiel Command grounded the fleet of CH-47s "out of an abundance of caution." Officials have narrowed down more than 70 helicopters that contained a part that could be the source of the fires.

An Army spokeswoman told WSJ the defected part is causing fuel leaks that sparked "a small number of engine fires among an isolated number" of the helicopters. She said maintenance crews are taking steps to resolve the issue.

"The grounding was targeted at certain Boeing Co.-made models with engines manufactured by Honeywell International Inc.," WSJ said, citing one of the US officials.

Neither officials nor spokeswoman gave a timetable when the Army's workhorse for transporting troops and heavy items on the modern battlefield would be back in the air.

Texas School District Charged Mom Nearly $1,300 To Review Book List

A Texas public school district attempted to charge two parents nearly $1,300 to review a list of books available to children in classrooms, according to a complaint filed by the Goldwater Institute.

Jenny Crossland, a Texas mother, filed a public records request with the Fort Worth Independent School District asking for the books available to kindergarten students. The school district told Crossland that it would take 84.5 hours of labor and cost the mother $1,267.50 to produce the list, according to correspondence posted by the anonymous self-described “conservative mom” who runs the website Momma Bear Politics.

Kristine Deanpolis West, who pulled her eighth-grade daughter from Fort Worth Independent School District, put in a public record request seeking similar information. The district provided her with the same response as Crossland.

West, in affiliation with the right-libertarian Goldwater Institute, filed a complaint with the Texas Attorney General’s office challenging the “unreasonable” charge, which she claims violates Texas law. The Goldwater Institute alleges that the district is “imposing prohibitive charges that keep parents in the dark.”

Texas law requires that public records fees be “reasonable” and that public records under 50 pages be limited to photocopying charges, according to the state AG’s website. West requested that the Attorney General investigate the school district over this dispute.

“It is highly unlikely to the point of improbable that a list of required or suggested reading material — even for thirteen grade levels — surpasses 50 pages. The District’s charges therefore also violate the Attorney General’s cost rules,” the complaint reads.

Fort Worth Independent School District did not respond to the Daily Caller’s request for comment.

The widow and sisters of a US marine killed in Afghanistan during the military’s chaotic departure from the country in 2021 are again suing actor Alec Baldwin for at least $25 million, claiming he exposed them to online vitriol after the actor accused one of the women of being a Jan. 6 insurrectionist.

The federal suit was filed in the Southern District of New York on Friday by the family of Marine Lance Corporal Rylee J. McCollum, who was one of 13 marines killed by a suicide bomber outside of the Hamid Karzai International Airport on Aug. 26, 2021. He was 20 years old.

After McCollum’s death, Baldwin found one of the Marine’s sisters, Roice, on Instagram and sent her a check for $5,000 for his widow, Jiennah, and her newborn baby. Baldwin said the check was a “tribute to a fallen soldier,’ according to the lawsuit.

Months later in January 2022, the “30 Rock” star got in a public spat with Roice after she posted a photo of herself attending a protest near the Washington Monument on Jan. 6, 2021 ahead of the one-year anniversary of the Capitol Hill riot.

In response, Baldwin accused her of participating in the riots and called her an “insurrectionist.”

His “seemingly benevolent overtures turned into a nightmare,” for the McCollum family, the suit alleges.

“Are you the same woman I sent the $ for your sister’s husband who was killed during the Afghanistan exit?” Baldwin wrote on Roice’s Instagram post from his account, according to the complaint.

He also allegedly sent her a direct message.

“When I sent the $ for your late brother, out of real respect for his service to this country, I didn’t know you were a January 6th rioter,” the actor wrote, according to the suit.

“Protesting is perfectly legal in the country and I’ve already had my sit down with the FBI. Thanks, have a nice day!” Roice shot back.

“I don’t think so,” Baldwin responded. “Your activities resulted in the unlawful destruction of government property, the death of a law enforcement officer, an assault on the certification of the presidential election. I reposted your photo. Good luck.”

He reposted Roice’s photo on his Instagram account, which has 2.4 million followers, mentioning her involvement in the Jan. 6, 2021, protests, according to the complaint.

Within 20 minutes of reposting the photo, Roice received “hostile, aggressive, hateful messages” from Baldwin’s fans, the suit claims.

He additionally misidentified Jiennah as an insurrectionist in an Instagram comment, although she was not in DC that day, according to the lawsuit.

Jiennah, Roice and her sister Cheyenne received messages from Instagram users accusing them of being white supremacists, and likening them to Nazis, the suit says. Some demanded that she give Baldwin back the $5,000 he had given her.

The family alleges that Baldwin did nothing to stop his millions of followers from contacting them.

“Baldwin’s conduct was negligent and reckless as he should have known that making the allegations he did against Plaintiffs to his millions of followers would cause Plaintiffs harm,” the suit states.

Reps for Baldwin did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

This is the second lawsuit the plaintiffs — McCollum’s sisters, Roice and Cheyenne, and his widow, Jiennah — have filed against Baldwin. They filed a similar lawsuit against him in January in Wyoming, where Roice and Cheyenne live. Jiennah currently lives in California.

The suit was dismissed in May after a Wyoming judge said she had no jurisdiction over Baldwin, who lives in New York.

The family members have demanded a trial by jury and are seeking damages of at least $25 million for alleged invasion of privacy, defamation negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

West Point should reconsider KKK plaque on science building: congressional panel

West Point, the revered military academy in upstate New York, should consider removing a plaque that pays homage to the Ku Klux Klan from its campus, a Congressional panel suggested in a new report.

The entrance of Bartlett Hall Science Center is adorned with a bronze plaque that shows a man in a hood and cape holding a rifle with the hate organization’s title underneath. according to a report by the so-called Naming Commission released on Monday.

The commission is tasked with making recommendations on the renaming of Confederate monuments on military property. The report said it could not outright call for a removal of the KKK decoration because it is not specifically linked to the rebel army.

However, it noted that “there are clearly ties in the KKK to the Confederacy,” and called on the Department of Defense to “create a standard disposition requirement for such assets.”

After the Civil War, the white supremacist group fought against the progress of Reconstruction in the South by terrorizing and killing black people and other minorities. By the 1920s it had four million members and meaningful political power, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center.

The commission did call for West Point to rename a dozen buildings, roads and gates named after General Robert E. Lee and other Confederate leaders, and found that portraits of Lee and “individuals who voluntarily served” under him should be tossed.

A role call that included names of graduates that fought for secession at Cullum Hall at the Orange County military academy “may remain as structured” due to its non-commemorative posture, the group said.

The changes would cost taxpayers about $425,000, with $300,000 alone needed to move monuments and engravings at Reconciliation Plaza.

West Point did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Post.

The commission also told the military to rename several assets at the United States Naval Academy in Annapolis, Maryland.

New DOJ filing includes photo of alleged classified materials recovered from Trump’s office during the raid earlier this month.

The Biden Justice Department late Tuesday told a federal judge it opposes naming a special master to review evidence taken from Donald Trump’s Florida home, alleging there may have been an effort to conceal classified documents after the president’s lawyers received a grand jury subpoena earlier this summer.

DOJ “developed evidence that government records were likely concealed and removed” from a storage locker in Mar-A-Lago and “that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government’s investigation,” prosecutors argued in the new filing.

In its 36-page filing, DOJ said the former president’s request for a special master "fails for multiple, independent reasons," including that it would "harm national security interests."

Prosecutor Jay Bratt included a photo of evidence retrieved during the Aug. 8 raid from Trump’s Florida office, including files marked top secret and secret. Bratt said a prior search conducted by Trump lawyers in June in response to a grand jury did not retrieve all classified documents.

Agents “uncovered multiple sources of evidence indicating that the response to the May 11 grand jury subpoena was incomplete and that classified documents remained at the premises, notwithstanding the sworn certification made to the government on June 3,” Bratt wrote. “In particular, the government developed evidence that a search limited to the storage room would not have uncovered all the classified documents at the premises.”

“The FBI, in a matter of hours, recovered twice as many documents with classification markings as the ‘diligent search’ that the former president’s counsel and other representatives had weeks to perform,” the filing added.

DOJ said the material recovered in the raid “calls into serious question the representations made in the June 3 certification and casts doubt on the extent of cooperation in this matter.”

Bratt also called into question claims by the presidents lawyers that his materials can be shielded from the Biden ministration I claims of executive privilege.

A judge is expected to make a ruling on the special master as early as the end of this week.

Tuesday's document was in response to Trump's lawyers' request that a 'special master' be appointed to oversee the review of the seized papers

The Justice Department believed that classified documents held unlawfully at Mar-a-Lago were being moved around and hidden, despite assurances from Donald Trump's lawyers that they were all kept together in a padlocked storage room.

In a bombshell 36-page court filing on Tuesday, the Justice Department said it had uncovered efforts to obstruct its investigation.

The filing said that 'government records were likely concealed and removed' from a storage room at the property.

The department says Trump's lawyers told them in June that all the records that had come from the White House were stored in one location - a Mar-a-Lago storage room.

Trump's lawyers said 'there were no other records stored in any private office space or other location at the Premises and that all available boxes were searched.'

The Justice Department said that was not true.

In their August 8 search, which enraged Trump and his supporters, agents found classified documents both in the storage room as well as in the former president's office - including three classified documents found not in boxes, but in office desks.

The court filing lays out the most detailed chronology to date of interactions between Justice Department officials and Trump representatives over the presence of the documents at Mar-a-Lago.

It also revealed that Trump lawyers 'explicitly prohibited government personnel from opening or looking inside any of the boxes' inside a storage room when FBI agents first traveled to his Palm Beach Mar-a-Lago resort in June to retrieve the records.

'The government also developed evidence that government records were likely concealed and removed from the Storage Room and that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government's investigation,' the department said in a filing in U.S. District Court in the Southern District of Florida.

It revealed that the August 8 search uncovered - in addition to the three classified documents in desks located inside Trump's office - more than 100 documents in 13 boxes or containers with classification markings in the residence.

Some of the documents in the residence were labelled at the most restrictive levels.

Tuesday night's filing also included a photo showing the cover pages of classified documents - and some marked as 'TOP SECRET/SCI' with a bright yellow border - laying on a carpet at Mar-a-Lago alongside a box filled with framed pictures, including a Time Magazine cover.

The Justice Department was responding to a request from the Trump legal team for a 'special master' - an independent third party - to review the documents seized during the August 8 search of Mar-a-Lago.

The Justice Department on Tuesday said it opposed the appointment of a special master.

Trump, prosecutors argued, lacks standing in the case because the records 'do not belong to him.'

Trump's lawyers last week asked for the appointment of a special master who'd be tasked with reviewing the records taken and setting aside documents protected by claims of legal privilege.

Cannon on Saturday said it was her 'preliminary intent' to appoint such a person but also gave the Justice Department an opportunity to respond.

On Monday, the department said it had already completed its review of potentially privileged documents and identified a 'limited set of materials that potentially contain attorney-client privileged information.'

In a separate development, the Trump legal team has grown with the addition of another attorney.

Chris Kise, Florida's former solicitor general, has joined the team of lawyers representing Trump.

The August 8 search is the culmination of many months of wrangling.

In January, 15 boxes of documents were retrieved from Mar-a-Lago and returned to theNational Archive:their recovery was reported in the media in February.

On June 3, FBI agents visited Mar-a-Lago to discuss the return of the documents: Trump's team presented F.B.I. agents with 38 additional documents with classified markings, including -17 labeled top secret.

Officers from CBP's Office of Field Operations sent a trailer truck, which claimed to be carrying only baby wipes, for a second inspection. Then, a canine and "non-intrusive" inspection resulted in the discovery of 1,935 packages with around 1,533 pounds of alleged cocaine, says the release.

"This seizure is a prime example of border security management and how it helps prevent dangerous narcotics from reaching our communities," said Alberto Flores, the port director at the Laredo Port of Entry, in the release.

Officers seized the narcotics, and US Immigration and Customs Enforcement-Homeland Security Investigations are looking into the seizure, according to the release.

The Biden Justice Department late Tuesday told a federal judge it opposes naming a special master to review evidence taken from Donald Trump’s Florida home, alleging there may have been an effort to conceal classified documents after the president’s lawyers received a grand jury subpoena earlier this summer.

DOJ “developed evidence that government records were likely concealed and removed” from a storage locker in Mar-A-Lago and “that efforts were likely taken to obstruct the government’s investigation,” prosecutors argued in the new filing.

In its 36-page filing, DOJ said the former president’s request for a special master "fails for multiple, independent reasons," including that it would "harm national security interests."

The actor also addressed the allegations of violence and abuse by his ex-girlfriend, singer FKA Twigs, who is suing him.

Amid highly publicized efforts to repair his reputation, actor Shia LaBeouf has claimed that the depiction of his dad as a cruel, violent parent in his 2019 movie Honey Boy was "fucking nonsense."

Written during LaBeouf's time in court-ordered rehab, the film portrays the painful relationship of a child actor with his abusive dad, played by LaBeouf. The film is widely understood to be autobiographical and received some acclaim when it was released. LaBeouf in particular was praised for his performance as the dad, James. The New York Times called it a "bravura" — virtuosic — "incarnation of resentment."

On a recent episode of actor Jon Bernthal's podcast Real Ones, however, LaBeouf admitted that he misrepresented his father in the movie, saying he "vilified [him] on a grand scale."

"Honey Boy is basically a big 'woe is me' story about how fucked my father is, and I wronged him," LaBeouf said, calling the depiction of his dad in the movie "fucking nonsense."

"My dad was so loving to me my whole life. Fractured, sure. Crooked, sure. Wonky, for sure," he said. "But never was not loving, never was not there. He was always there … and I'd done a world press tour about how fucked he was as a man."

The actor said his dad never hit him, but spanked him once when he caught LaBeouf smoking as a child.

"And the story that gets painted in Honey Boy is, this dude is abusing his kid all the time," he said.

LaBeouf's dad, Jeffrey LaBeouf, is a sex offender who claimed he was blackout drunk during the attempted rape that he was convicted for. He disputed some of the scenes in Honey Boy in an interview in 2019, but said he and his son were on good terms.

The actor himself has made many headlines in the past for disruptive and violent public behavior while intoxicated, as well as various plagiarism scandals. He has also been accused of being violently abusive and controlling by ex-girlfriends. One of his exes, FKA Twigs — they met on the set of Honey Boy — filed a lawsuit in 2020 alleging that LaBeouf was physically and emotionally abusive when they were together, and that he had knowingly infected her with an STD. A trial has been set for April 2023.

LaBeouf said at the time that "many of these allegations" were not true, but did not specify which. He addressed the accusations on Bernthal's podcast, and said that he "hurt a lot of people."

"I hurt that woman," LaBeouf said, without naming anyone. "And in the process of doing that, I hurt many other people, and many other people before that woman."

He also said it was "manipulative" of him to never tell his "sexual partners about getting cold sores."

LaBeouf was recently embroiled in the drama surrounding the movie Don't Worry Darling, in which he was cast as the lead before the abuse allegations in the lawsuit surfaced. It was reported that he dropped out of the film early on due to an apparent scheduling conflict, but director Olivia Wilde later said she fired him because of his "combative energy" and that she wanted to protect the leading actor in the film, Florence Pugh, whom he would have played alongside with.

The actor denied Wilde's account of events in an email to Variety, claiming there was indeed a scheduling conflict and he was not fired.

"I know that you are beginning your press run for [Don't Worry Darling] and that the news of my firing is attractive clickbait, as I am still persona-non-grata and may remain as such for the rest of my life," he wrote. "Firing me never took place, Olivia. And while I fully understand the attractiveness of pushing that story because of the current social landscape, the social currency that brings. It is not the truth."

Google is blocking Trump’s Truth Social app for “insufficient content moderation

Google is preventing former President Donald Trump’s Truth Social app from going live in its Google Play Android app store and has cited “insufficient content moderation” as the reason for the holdup.

A Google spokesperson told Axios (https://www.axios.com/2022/08/30/trump-truth-social-google-android-moderation): “On Aug. 19, we notified Truth Social of several violations of standard policies in their current app submission and reiterated that having effective systems for moderating user-generated content is a condition of our terms of service for any app to go live on Google Play.”

A source that spoke to Axios added that Google’s concerns are related to “physical threats and incitements to violence.”

WASHINGTON (JTA) — Sheldon and Miriam Adelson plan to spend $100 million on electing Republicans and re-electing US President Donald Trump.

The Guardian on Monday quoted three Republican fundraisers that it did not name as saying that the couple, known for their generosity to Republicans, pro-Israel causes and medical research, was ready to spend nearly the same amount, $124 million, as they did in the 2016 cycle. One of the Guardian’s sources said it could reach $200 million.

Sheldon Adelson is a casino magnate and Miriam Adelson is a physician and medical researcher. The Guardian said most of the money would be funneled through political action committees and “dark money” groups that are not required to reveal donors.

The Adelsons did not favor Trump in the 2016 cycle until May of that year, something he has teased the couple about now that they are close. A number of Republican Jews were wary of Trump at first because of a confrontation between the candidate and the Republican Jewish Coalition in December 2015, and because he originally would not commit to moving the embassy to Jerusalem.

As president, however, Trump has delivered on Israel-related issues favored by the Adelsons to a greater degree than any of his White House predecessors. He has moved the embassy to Jerusalem, cut virtually all funding to the Palestinians, recognized Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal and advanced a peace plan that would allow Israel to annex nearly a third of the West Bank.

London’s housing shortage may be about to get worse.

Home projects in the west of the city face long delays because developers are being told that they can not be connected to the electricity grid until 2035, according to a letter sent to developers by the Greater London Authority and obtained by Bloomberg.

Demand from data centers being constructed adjacent to fiber optic cables have absorbed the remaining capacity in the area, which is supplied by Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks. Boroughs including Hillingdon, Ealing and Hounslow are affected, according to the letter, which was first reported by the Financial Times.
