Gab Received A Letter From Congress Today

Today Gab received the letter below from Congress. We weren’t going to publicize it, but given that the Committee went to the press before we did there’s no point pretending that we didn’t get it.

We are considering our response to the House Oversight Committee.

For the rest of you, know that we cooperate with law enforcement regularly on public safety matters and we never comment on non-public communications with law enforcement, even when it would be convenient to do so for public relations purposes, such as today or in any response to Congress we may choose to send at a later date.

We will add one thing for the public and the media to chew on in the meantime, given that the relevant case is now public. The House’s letter makes reference to a Gab user who posted threats against law enforcement on our platform. The implication of the letter is that we are somehow complicit in those threats. The posts in question were made on or about August 11th and an arrest was made on August 15th.

In that case, as the now-public affidavit supporting the arrest warrant states, we received an emergency data request for the subject through our law enforcement disclosure portal at 6:10 PM on August 11th. We responded at 6:10 (i.e., within one minute) to inform the FBI the issue was being actioned. Responsive records were provided to the FBI by 8:20 PM, or 130 minutes later.

We know for a fact that this is orders of magnitude faster responding to law enforcement than companies like Twitter and Facebook, on whose platforms far more threats against law enforcement – and far more hate, pornography, and other unpleasantness – can be found. Just yesterday for example a man was arrested and found with “buckets of human organs and skin” which he purchased on Facebook.

We don’t scream about how seriously we take public safety. We don’t publicize it. We don’t use it to make political statements. We just do the work, try to be as responsible a corporate citizen as we can, and provide all lawful assistance to law enforcement as efficiently as we can given that Gab is a small business with limited resources. We like to think we do a good job at this.

We would recommend that the members of the Committee call up their friends over at the DOJ to verify our bona fides. In the meantime, as we consider our formal response, for all the commentators out there who have been calling for Gab to be shut down for years on end, just because you don’t know about the public safety work we do doesn’t mean it isn’t happening.

A key provision in the Inflation Reduction Act — which throws an extra $80 billion to the IRS to improve the agency's collection of under-reported income — will end up targeting small business owners to pay for the legislation, according to nonpartisan watchdog the Joint Committee on Taxation. The group estimates that between 78% and 90% of the estimated additional $200 billion the IRS will collect will come from small businesses making less than $200,000 annually.

JPMorgan Gold Trading Boss & Former LBMA Board Member Found Guilty By US Jury

In a major embarrassment for banking giant JP Morgan and the London Bullion Market Association (LBMA), a federal jury in a US criminal trial has convicted Michael Nowak, global head of JP Morgan’s precious metals trading and former LBMA board member, on 13 counts of attempted price manipulation, commodities fraud, wire fraud, and spoofing prices in the gold, silver, platinum and palladium futures markets.

The same criminal trial jury, in a trial which was presided over by federal judge Edmond E. Chang of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, also convicted Nowak’s colleague and JP Morgan precious metals trader, Gregg Smith, on 11 counts of attempted price manipulation, commodities fraud, wire fraud, and spoofing. In a US federal trial, the jury the verdict has to be unanimous.

The charges against the JP Morgan global precious metals trading desk traders were brought by the US Government’s Department of Justice (DoJ) Criminal Division in a trial officially called “United States v. Smith (1:19-cr-00669)”. While the jury’s verdict found the two traders guilty of price manipulation, commodities fraud, wire fraud and spoofing, the jury also found both Nowak and Smith not guilty under one count each of a RICO conspiracy (the Racketeering Act) and a 371 conspiracy (conspiracy to defraud the United States).

Actor Gary Busey, 78, best know for his Oscar nominated title role in 1978’s Buddy Holly, was charged Friday in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. Charges include two counts of fourth-degree criminal sexual contact, one count of attempted criminal sexual contact and one count of harassment.

Busey was attending the annual Monster Mania Convention in Cherry Hill. Monster Mania is a semi-annual horror film convention for fans that features guest panels, meet-and-greets with actors and horror memorabilia.

The charges steam from encounters that occurred August 12-14, 2022 while Busey was in attendance.

‘In God We Trust’ Signs Going Up in More Texas Schools

The motto “In God We Trust” is being displayed in a growing number of Texas schools thanks to a law that recently went into effect requiring its display in a prominent location in public schools and institutions of higher education in the Lone Star state.

Texas state Sen. Bryan Hughes, a Republican, co-authored Senate Bill 797, which was passed last year and requires schools to display the motto as long as the signs featuring it came from private donations, at no cost to taxpayers.

“The national motto, In God We Trust, asserts our collective trust in a sovereign God,” Hughes said in an Aug. 17 statement on Twitter following an appearance for a Northwest Austin Republican Women’s Club event earlier in the week.

Hughes shared a photo of one of the signs, saying he’s encouraged by people “coming forward to donate these framed prints to remind future generations of the national motto.”

The law states that Texas public schools and institutions of higher learning must display the national motto in a “conspicuous place,” and an increasing number of signs featuring the words have been donated to school districts across Texas.

Patriot Mobile, a Texas-based cellphone company, donated several “In God We Trust” signs to Carroll Independent School District (ISD) campuses, saying in a statement on social media that they’re “proud to be a part of having our nation’s motto hung in our public schools.”

“Our mission is to passionately defend our God-given, Constitutional rights and freedoms, and to glorify God always,” the company added.

The company later clarified that they donated framed “In God We Trust” posters to “many other school districts in the Dallas-Fort Worth area and we will continue to do so until all the schools in the area receive them.”

“We are honored to be part of bringing God back into our public schools!” the company said.

Carroll ISD shared a photograph of the donated signs in a post on Twitter.

Similar signs have gone up in Austin and the Houston area, according to the Houston Chronicle.

But not everyone is pleased with the law that requires the display of the “In God We Trust” signage.

Anya Kushwaha, founder of the Southlake Anti-Racism Coalition, told NBCDFW in an interview that the law is problematic as it blurs the line separating church and state.

“I feel like they don’t have a choice right now to put them up, but hopefully this will spark larger conversations about having more freedom of expression, so if they are allowed to put up signs like this there should be no reasons that other students or people can’t put up signs that have different messaging,” Kushwaha told the outlet.

Despite some objections, the signs are increasingly popping up in Texas schools, with The Yellow Rose of Texas Republican Women saying in a recent post on social media that they had donated a number of the signs to Houston area school districts.

“In God We Trust” became the official motto of the United States in 1956 when President Dwight D. Eisenhower put his signature on a bill that gave it the force of law.

The daughter of a major Vladimir Putin ally has reportedly been killed in a car bombing in Moscow.

Darya Dugin was 'blown to pieces' in the 'assassination plot', which had been intended for her father Alexander, according to Russian media.

Unconfirmed reports say she was driving her Land Cruiser Prado near the village of Bolshiye Vyazyomy when the vehicle suddenly exploded.

Footage allegedly taken at the scene shows a huge inferno burning by a roadside with at least one fire truck in attendance.

Russian violinist Petr Lundstrem has claimed that Darya was returning from a festival and had planned to drive back with her father, but he left in a separate car.

Alexander Dugin, 60, is often called 'Putin's brain' or 'Rasputin' due to his close relationship with the warring president.

He is the former chief editor of the staunchly pro-Putin Tsargrad TV network and is said to be the mastermind of the ongoing Ukraine invasion.

While he has no formal role in government, the far-right occult writer is said to heavily influence Putin, particularly when it comes to propaganda.

He is credited with giving new life to the term Novorossiya (New Russia), which was adopted by Putin to justify his annexation of Crimea - after being widely used by Dugin in 2013 and 2014.

It comes as Russian forces have stepped up their battle to seize one of the dwindling number of cities in embattled eastern Ukraine not already under their control, while continuing to fire on towns and villages in the country's north and south.

Ukrainian officials said on Saturday that Russian shelling had collapsed balconies and blown out windows in the southern region of Mykolayiv, injuring at least nine civilians.

A five-storey apartment building and private homes in the town of Voznesensk were badly damaged, the Black Sea region's governor said.

Vitaliy Kim wrote in a Telegram post: 'As of 1.30pm (local time) - nine wounded, including four children.

All children in a serious condition. Ages range from three to 17.' He added that a young girl lost an eye as a result of Saturday's attack.

In all between the 08/09 flu season and the 19/20 flu season, there were a total of 1,720,400,000 (1.7204 billion) doses of the flu jab administered in the USA.

The CDC also confirms that between 2008 and 2020, a period of 13 years, there were just 64 events related to cancer reported as adverse reactions to the influenza vaccines.

Based on the number of adverse events related to cancer alone, we can see that there have been 40.3x as many cancer cases related to Covid-19 vaccination than there have been related to flu vaccination.

But whilst shocking, this statistic doesn’t properly represent the severity of the situation. To do that we need to know the number of cancer cases per 100,000 doses administered.

Based on the above numbers provided by the CDC, the number of adverse events related to cancer reported per 100,000 doses of flu vaccine administered equates to just 0.0003 per 100,000 doses.

According to ‘Our World in Data’, as of 9th August 2022, 606 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccines have been administered in the USA. This means there have been actually nearly 3x as many flu vaccines administered between 2008-2020 than Covid-19 injections since the end of 2020, let alone all of the other vaccines that have been administered.

Therefore, the number of adverse events related to cancer reported per 100,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccine administered equates to 0.43 per 100,000 doses.

This means Covid-19 vaccination is 1433.33x / 143,233.33% more likely to cause cancer than flu vaccination. It can be argued that because the numbers are so extraordinarily low for the flu vaccine, that flu vaccination does not cause cancer. Therefore, it can be argued that the risk of developing cancer following Covid-19 vaccination is 1433x greater than the background risk.

This should however not come as much of a surprise considering we already have scientific proof that the Covid-19 mRNA injections can cause cancer of the ovaries, pancreas and breast.

The homologous recombination DNA repair pathway is one of the mechanisms that the body uses to stop your cells from turning cancerous in response to environmental stress.

And in October 2021, two revered scientists, called Jiang and Mei, had a paper published, after peer review, in MDPI, showing that the SARS-Cov-2 spike protein obliterated the DNA repair mechanism in lymphocytes.

The viral spike protein was so toxic to this pathway that it knocked 90% of it out. If the whole spike protein got into the nucleus (in the ovaries), and enough of it was produced and hung around long enough before the body was able to get rid of it all, it would cause cancer.

Fortunately, in the case of naturl infection, this is unlikely to occur. But the experimental mRNA “vaccines” induce spike protein to be produced in and around the cell nucleus and this occurs for at least 60 days and almost certainly longer.

This is probably why cases of ovarian cancer are now at an all-time high.

Official UK data published by Public Health Scotland, which can be found here, reveal the number of women suffering ovarian cancer from the introduction of the Covid-19 injection to the general population. Unfortunately, the known trend in 2021 was significantly higher than 2020 and the 2017-2019 average.

The above chart shows up to June 2021, but the charts found on Public Health Scotland’s dashboard now show figures all the way up to December 2021 and unfortunately reveal that the gap has widened even further with the number of women suffering from Ovarian cancer increasing significantly.

If you still wish to get a jab that doesn’t stop you from getting Covid-19, doesn’t stop you from spreading Covid-19, increases your risk of mortality significantly (see here), and increases your risk of suffering cancer by 143,233% then that’s up to you. But perhaps you can now be a little more understanding of why many others simply refuse to do so.

I think we probably all cheered when Brian Stelter got the boot the other day from CNN. When Warner Media merged with Discovery, it made the new entity Warner Bros Discovery. One of the biggest investors in that new company, now the parent company of CNN, is John Malone. Malone indicated that they want to get back to the “journalism that it started with, and actually have journalists.” That of course would be incompatible with Stelter, which is why he’s gone.But the word is they’re not done with the purge yet. A Pennsylvania man has been found with multiple buckets of stolen human body parts that he allegedly purchased off of Facebook, according to police.

East Pennsboro Township Police said that they arrested Jeremy Pauley, 40, of Enola on Thursday after making the discovery while searching his basement. Police said that Pauley is a self-described collector of "oddities" and was in possession of three full human skeletons and up to 20 human skulls, according to ABC affiliate WHTM. He was released soon after posting $50,000 bail.

The investigation began when police received a complaint on June 14 about human remains potentially being sold on Facebook. Suspicion of Pauley's alleged involvement began after a person called police on July 8 to report finding multiple 5-gallon buckets containing "human organs" and "human skin" in his basement.

"This is one of the most bizarre investigations I have encountered in my thirty-three years as a prosecutor," Cumberland County District Attorney Seán M. McCormack said in a statement. "Just when I think I have seen it all, a case like this comes around."

Human Body Parts Sold Facebook Pennsylvania Police

The remains found in Pauley's basement included a human heart, brains, livers, skin and lungs. A child's mandible with attached teeth, pieces of skin, a trachea and a skull with attached hair were also found, according to WHTM.

Police said that they discovered Pauley had been buying the remains over Facebook Messenger from an Arkansas woman named Candace Scott, who allegedly stole the parts from a mortuary. He reportedly purchased $4,000 in organs and skin in hopes of reselling the items for profit.

Pauley was charged with abuse of corpse, receiving stolen property and dealing in proceeds of unlawful activity.

"When you get to the core of the case, this is a case about receiving stolen property," McCormack told WHTM. "If you equate it to like stolen car parts or something like that...if they are dealing in stolen car parts, selling them, it's a higher level charge, and that's what you're going to have in this case,"

The remains, which are the property of the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS), were allegedly sent to Pennsylvania via the U.S. Postal Service. Authorities intercepted and confiscated multiple packages which contained additional remains.

"Human bodies are an indispensable aid in the education of medical students, nurses and other health professions students," UAMS said in a statement obtained by Newsweek. "UAMS is extremely respectful of our donors when they are here in our care."

"We have a contract with Arkansas Central Mortuary Services to take the bodies for cremation after they are no longer being used by our students," the statement continued. "An employee of the mortuary service is under investigation by federal authorities for stealing some human remains from the mortuary that were donated to UAMS. We are saddened and appalled that this happened."

Newsweek reached out to Facebook for comment.

A 2020 Chinese news article says that Hongzheng Tech. has "hired Mr. Yu Jianwei, well-known in the international election field, as the company’s technical and business consultant."

Yu Jianwei is the Chinese name for Eugene Yu.

Eugene Yu is the CEO of Konnech Inc., a Michigan tech company that designs software and hardware to administer elections in Australia, Canada, and the United States.

“I  really like Dan Loeb,” a CEO of a major US company told me as we discussed Loeb’s latest activist move, the purchase of a $1 billion stake in Disney with calls to cut costs, shed assets and improve management. “But the last thing I want is Dan snooping around my company. The fox in the henhouse never plays nice.”

Of course, activist investors like Loeb aren’t in the business of playing nice. And Loeb is particularly adept at his job — just see the havoc he caused at Yahoo a few years back on the way to a big payday. With his Disney move, he again wants to force change and enhance shareholder value, which has been noticeably missing from the company recently. The stock is down more than 23% year-to-date and more than 30% in the past 52 weeks.

Cable cord cutting is eating into Disney’s linear businesses, including its still-profitable sports cable network ESPN. The Disney+ streaming service is growing, but still losing money. ESPN along with decent theme-park attendance is why the company posted strong third-quarter results. Disney is betting big on streaming but it may not be the magic bullet many industry pros hoped for, or Netflix wouldn’t be missing performance targets.

Then there are the unstated reasons Disney is in trouble, the one that industry executives, investors and rivals will tell you when they’re not being quoted by name: Woke don’t sell, particularly when it comes to a company trying to sell kid-oriented programming and theme-park experiences to Middle America.

In his letter to Disney CEO Bob Chapek, Loeb didn’t say any of this. (He also declined to comment for this column.) His letter stated explicitly he wants an outright sale of ESPN to pay down debt and allow ESPN to make up for the cord cutting and fully flourish in the sports gambling business, which doesn’t fit with Disney’s family-forward image. He’d like to totally suspend the dividend and buy from rival Comcast the remaining 33% stake of the Hulu streaming service it doesn’t own.

A growth albatross

But Loeb, in my opinion, also more than hinted at wokeness being a growth albatross for the “House of Mouse.” He wants more experienced board members to fill “gaps in talent and experience” that he described as “strengths in technology, advertising and consumer engagement, as well as proven track records of leading large, complex organizations and creating shareholder value.”

So I did a little digging through the company’s 2022 proxy statement — a type of annual report that investors, including presumably Loeb, pore through to understand management’s priorities, strategic direction, shareholder votes and what it looks for in its board members — the men and women whom management must report to.

You would be amazed how Disney — a company known for, among other things, Mickey Mouse and making movies that are supposed to appeal to the so-called silent majority — is openly bragging to investors about its embrace of ­every woke fad imaginable.

The terms “diversity” and “ESG,” the acronym for Environmental, Social and Governance, appear on nearly every page. Management diversity is a worthy goal, but real academic research on diversity and shareholder value shows no correlation.

The proxy says management has created various initiatives to increase the diversity (aka wokeness) of Disney’s programming. Where’s the research that those programs sell? I couldn’t find any.

Now let’s turn to the company’s board members — the people Loeb wants to oust because he thinks they’re not cutting it. In the proxy, Disney has a checklist of what it considers key attributes for board members.

Members are graded on executive management, marketing, brand enhancement and risk but also diversity and “ESG experience,” neither of which are on Loeb’s list. You will be happy to note that Chapek received strong marks on most of these, though he received only a passable grade for ESG (maybe he uses his gas-guzzling corporate jet too often) and he flunked “diversity” because, you guessed it, he’s a white dude.

That’s apparently negative in the “Woke House of Mouse.”

Donald Trump left a 'gracious' letter behind for Joe Biden after leaving the White House, it has been revealed, as aides shared the catalog of chaos that culminated in last week's Mar-a-Lago raid.

Sources and notes detailing the last four days of the Trump presidency revealed that upon entering the Oval Office, newly elected president Joe Biden found a letter waiting for him from his predecessor, The New York Times reported.

The letter was reportedly handwritten by Trump himself on two large pages, with Biden remarking to an aide that the former president 'had been more gracious in the letter than he had anticipated.'

Its contents have not been revealed, but the letter will be among the first records Biden will have to turn over to the National Archives when he leaves the White House.

Aides say it was the very same process that landed Trump in trouble with the FBI, after attempts by the National Archive to retrieve the note Barack Obama had left for Trump, as well as correspondence with Kim Jong un, sparked a wider probe into the removal of classified documents.

It's a process that has landed Trump in the midst of a FBI investigation, following a series of blunders that resulted in a failure to turn over two dozen boxes of documents, leading to a raid on his Mar-a-Lago home.

Trump has denied allegations of wrongdoing, and says he plans to sue.

Those who spoke to the Times suggested the incident had stemmed from poor organization among Trump's staff, rather than because of any malign attempt to misuse secret information.

Sources told the Times that in the hurry to leave the White House, former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows assured aides that he would ensure the administration complied with the regulations to leave the documents for the National Archive.

They noted, however, that Trump seemed more focused on 'pushing through last-minute pardons' as he ignored the transition of power while repeating unfounded claims that the 2020 presidential election was stolen from him.

Although the White House Counsel's Office said it warned Meadows that the two dozen boxes needed to be turned in, which included document's marked 'highly classified' and letters from Korean leader Kim Jong-un, they ended up in Mar-a-Lago instead.

Under the Presidential Records Act, which governs the handling of records created in the Oval Office, every document generated essentially belongs to taxpayers and must be submitted to the National Archives.

Donald McGahn, Trump's first White House Counsel, had instituted a protocol for the handling of materials and had given presentations on the law to staff members, former officials told the Times.

They added that several conversations were had about following the 2020 loss about sending someone to collect the documents that had been building up in Trump's estate.

During the final days of the administration, White House Counsel Pat Cippollone and his deputy, Patrick Philbin, 'were keenly aware that [Trump's] handling of documents was a potential problem,' the Times reported.

Despite the worries, it was unclear how much sway Cippollone had with Trump, as former officials allege the ex-president often berated the attorney for his objections to the election fraud claims.

Along with the reported breakdown between Cippollone and Trump, White House Staff Secretary Derek Lyons, who managed the paperwork in the Oval Office, stepped down on December 18, 2020, just a month before the big exit.

This left Meadows with no executive to help ease the transfer of power that Trump wanted no part of.

Despite Meadow's efforts to have everything set by the time Trump left office in January 2021, officials with the National Archives realized early on that significant materials were missing.

The archivists were particularly keen on getting back letters sent to the president from Kim Jong-Un and a letter Barack Obama left behind for Trump at the start of his presidency, both of which are considered to have significant historical value.

Although National Archive officials pushed Trump's lawyers to get the records back, they didn't get what they wanted until they went directly to Mar-a-Lago to retrieve 15 boxes of materials in January 2022.

Pence, asked directly if he had retained any classified information upon leaving office, told The Associated Press in an interview on Friday, 'No, not to my knowledge.'

The downloads provided on FrankSpeech.com for the "Before" and "After" image files of the Dominion Machine from Mesa Colorado (related to the Tina Peters case) have hash values! This is evidence of competence.

The reason that matters is that these can be used to prove that downstream copies of the same image files are authentic. It prevents disinformation operators from claiming there were (or weren't) files on the disk image, because changing even a single byte of data can cause the hash value to be invalid.

I wanted to see these on the "Hunter Biden Laptop" files that were circulating, too; because these didn't exist, people could make up fake versions and claim they were real to poison the story. Hash codes prevent that.

The latest highly controversial technology/policy that the World Economic Forum (WEF) has set out to normalize is the idea of implanting tracking chips into humans.

It wasn’t that long ago that those speculating on a future where this is happening would get dismissed as conspiracy theorists, but now the world elites’ most vocal outlet is predicting that chip implants will eventually become just a commodity.

And the WEF makes a case that implanting chips into children could be viewed by parents as a “solid, rational” move. All of this crops up in a blog post on the organization’s website dedicated to the future of augmented reality (AR), and what is referred to as “an augmented society.”

Like in many of WEF’s other takes on the future of various types of technology, the emphasis is put on inserting the “right,” i.e., its own “vision” in the direction these should be developing, with the inevitable mention of undefined society stakeholders who will hold the key to the ethics issue of it all.

The WEF is talking up the allegedly broad usefulness of AR going forward in fields such as healthcare, education, and professional settings, with the underpinning notion of providing guidelines as to how to “ethically” regulate this vast potential power – and therefore, when all’s said and done, control it.

The WEF calls AR and similar tech transformative – but in need of “the right support, vision, and audacity.”

Once again it isn’t at all clear why “audacity” is thrown in, unless it is a euphemism to sell some pretty outrageous “visions” that the WEF is expressing, such as replacing drugs with brain implants that will manipulate the body with electrical pulses, and pairing all sorts of chips put into humans through surgery, with sensors one might find in a chair.

And so, with the human and the chair “seamlessly integrated,” the quality of life across the board shoots up, the Davos-based group promises.

“As scary as chip implants may sound, they form part of a natural evolution that wearables once underwent. Hearing aids or glasses no longer carry a stigma,” the blog post reads. “They are accessories and are even considered a fashion item. Likewise, implants will evolve into a commodity.”

But critics of these trends say their opposition has nothing to do with “stigmas” – rather with serious concerns about civil rights, privacy, and the very concept of human autonomy.

The FBI organized, plotted, funded, controlled, and carried out a plan to kidnap Michigan's governor so they could blame the kidnapping on trump-supporters and "right-wing extremist".

The FBI paid Dan Chappel [FBI informant] more than $60,000 in 7 months and told him he needs to start assembling a group of right-wing extremist for the FBI to prosecute.

The FBI made a new Facebook group called "Patriot 3 Percenters". Through the group, Chappel met a broke man named Adam Fox.

The FBI provided Chappel with several $5,000 limit credit cards and they told him to give those to Adam Fox and to tell him to spend it on guns and ammunition. Fox refused.

Chappel suggested that Fox and others fire rounds into the Governor's mansion, but Fox and the other defendants refused.

When the group started falling apart the FBI told their informant Chappel to keep the group together and they introduced an agent and another informant into the group who suggested that they kidnap Gretchen Whitmer. The defendants refused.

But the FBI kept pushing, their informants drove the defendants to Whitmer's home and then they suggested killing the Governor of Virginia.

On Sep. 5, 2020, FBI Agent Chambers texted Chappel, "mission is to kill the governor specifically".

To pressure defendants into kidnapping the governor, the FBI used a female informant to sleep with them and even got them high on drugs.

12 out of 18 people involved with the plot to kidnap Whitmer were working for the FBI.
