The CIA’s In-Q-Tel was joined by Paladin Capital Group, which backs innovative tech companies, in Sandbox AQ’s first round of fundraising. The round which was oversubscribed has garnered “well into the nine figures,” Sandbox AQ Chief Executive Officer Jack Hidary said in an interview.
Founded in 2016, Sandbox AQ was spun off from Alphabet Inc.’s Google earlier this month and is chaired by Eric Schmidt, the search giant’s former CEO. Instead of making a quantum computer of its own, Sandbox AQ seeks to develop software architecture that can replace existing cryptography with complex new algorithms that are deemed impossible to crack by quantum computers, a nascent technology that isn’t yet operationally viable.

Alexander Bastrykin told RT about the case launched over the alleged development of biological weapons
The head of Russia’s Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, has told RT that his team is making progress in a criminal probe into Ukraine’s alleged Pentagon-funded bioweapons program.
“The analysis of the obtained documents allowed us to clearly identify the people involved in the military biological activities in Ukraine, including representatives of the US Department of Defense and American companies with ties to it,” Bastrykin said.
He added that the US had spent more than $224 million on biological programs in Ukraine since 2005. The investigator added that foreign aid was used to equip and upgrade around 30 research centers governed by Ukraine’s defense, health and agricultural ministries.
“The results of said research had been evacuated to Kiev-controlled territory before the start of [Russia’s] special military operation,” Bastrykin said, adding that his agency would continue to study the documents on the matter.
In March, Moscow claimed that it had found evidence that the US had been funding biological weapons research in Ukraine. Washington and Kiev denied this claim and accused Russia of waging a disinformation campaign.
Senior US diplomat Victoria Nuland said at the time that Washington was working with Ukraine to prevent research materials from falling into the hands of Russian troops.
Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian, meanwhile, urged the US to “give a full account of its biological military activities at home and abroad and subject itself to multilateral verification.”

US Factory Orders surged 2.2% MoM in March and February was revised up from a 0.5% decline to a 0.1% MoM rise-this is the biggest jump in US Factory orders since May 2021-but QUITE a divergence in PMI vs new orders...I'm sure that is just a "one-time event"-kek since the MSM report it as a"beat". Banks got 'upgraded today including te biggest tubs of shit there is JP Morgan and Moran Stanley to "outperform"-they have dropped quite a bit since the start of the year so that is not entirely unusual cause nothing goes straight down (except Ag-kek) or to zero but they ignore too much and just try to trigger people into buying them-trade them in/out on the movement but these are NOT long haul investments. TSLA din't do much after yesterdays parabolic rise into the close and it got down to $888.59 as it's LOD and closed on lower then avg volume-909.25+6.31 (+0.70%). TWTR pretty indifferent today too and WELL below it's daily avg-48.87-0.27 (-0.55%). That is in a total holding pattern. Can't get to the offer price and nowhere near it's recent high of $51.70 on April 25th.

JOB OPENINGS AND LABOR TURNOVER – MARCH 2022
The number of job openings was at a series high of 11.5 million on the last business day of March, although little changed over the month, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported today. Hires, at 6.7 million, were also little changed while total separations edged up to 6.3 million. Within separations, quits edged up to a series high of 4.5 million, while layoffs and discharges were little changed at 1.4 million. This release includes estimates of the number and rate of job openings, hires, and separations for the total nonfarm sector, by industry, by four geographic regions, and by establishment size class.
