FBI agent on stakeout parked in a Queens bus stop roughs up, handcuffs traffic agent for writing ticket

An FBI agent on Queens stakeout clapped handcuffs on the wrong man — a uniformed city traffic enforcement agent who wrote him up for parking illegally, the traffic agent and law enforcement sources told the Daily News.

Traffic agent Dipankar Dipu said he was still nursing an injured shoulder four days after his Sunnyside clash with fuming fed Kenneth Diu, who was parked between a metered spot and a bus stop.

“I can’t say what made him react so unprofessionally,” Dipu told The News on Saturday. “I was just doing my job. Why he assaulted me and humiliated me in front of people, I don’t know. I’m just suffering as a result.”

The federal agent was accused of assaulting and then handcuffing Dipu after the traffic agent refused to void the parking summons last Tuesday, police said.

As of Saturday, no charges had been filed against the FBI agent — but leaders of the traffic agents’ union said they hope the Queens District Attorney takes action.

Dipu, 33, was making his rounds along Greenpoint Ave. and 46th St. in Sunnyside about 2:30 p.m. when he spotted the black 2015 Jeep Cherokee with tinted windows, police and union officials said.“The Jeep was about 30% in the bus stop area and about 70% in a meter zone,” recalled Dipu. “There was another car completely in the bus stop and I went to that car and the told the motorist to move, which he did.

“Then I came back to the Jeep. I was trying to look through the window to see if there was anybody in the car, but I couldn’t see anything.”

Dipu, noting the vehicle lacked a meter receipt, was about to stick a ticket under the Jeep’s windshield wiper when he heard some rustling from inside. Just after he placed the ticket on the window, he said, the Jeep’s occupant put an FBI placard on the car’s dashboard.

Dipu said he wouldn’t have ticketed the vehicle if he knew the driver was a federal law enforcement agent, but was unaware of the situation until after the summons was written.

A moment later, an infuriated Diu exited the Jeep and demanded that Dipu void the summons.

“He was very arrogant,” recalled Dipu, a native of Bangladesh. “He became angry with me, yelling at me to ‘Void the ticket! Void the ticket! You have to void the ticket!’”

Dipu explained that was impossible in the ticketing system, and advised the agent to contact his supervisor. Diu instead delivered his bizarre response: “I’m going to arrest you.”

“He tried to snatch my machine from my hand, but I resisted him,” Dipu recalled. “But the second time he snatched it from my hand forcefully and I could not protect it. He took it, went into the car and locked the door.”

The FBI agent used the device to somehow cancel his ticket, with a void slip popping out of the ticket printing device on Dipu’s belt.

The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Secretary of State Anthony Blinken and Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin are heading to Kyiv tomorrow for talks with Zelenskyy. “[I]n what would be the highest-level visit by U.S. officials to Ukraine since the start of the war. The Defense Department and State Department declined to comment. Mr. Zelensky, speaking to reporters in a subway station in Kyiv on Saturday, said he would discuss military supplies and the pace of their delivery with the U.S. officials. The Ukrainian president has pressed Western countries for more weapons and support, and the U.S. and allies have raced to supply Ukraine with NATO-standard heavy weaponry.” (link)

Meanwhile Russia is reporting to have captured a massive Ukranian military weapons cache near Kharkiv (northeastern Ukraine). The video is quite remarkable:

When you watch that video, it’s hard not to wonder where all that military hardware came from previously, and how long the buildup of that particular Kharkiv weapons depot had been happening. There are thousands of tons of weapons and ammunition in that video.

Additionally, Russia’s defense ministry said on Saturday that its forces had shot down a Ukrainian Su-25 fighter jet and destroyed three MI-8 helicopters at an airfield in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region. There was no immediate reaction from Ukraine regarding the Russian claims.

1997: Hillary Clinton, developed her Adoption and Safe Families Act requiring states to terminate parental rights for children in foster care for 15 out of 22 months, with funding to encourage adoption for children up through age 18. They are emptying out their prisons and sending them here.

We had virtually no inflation, now inflation is costing the average family 6000 additional dollars a year, bigger than any tax.

PDJT says we had 160 million people working, now, people aren't going back to work.

We are now the laughingstock of every country in the world.

They may not have liked me, but they respected us, and at a level of respect that hadn't been seen for decades, now they won't even return Biden's phone calls.

We had tremendous success with COVID with therapeutics and Operation Warp Speed.

Russian Airlines Told To Prepare For World Without GPS

Russia's air traffic regulator sent a warning to airlines about potential upcoming flights without using the American Global Positioning System (GPS).

Russian newspaper Izvestia reported Friday that a letter from the Federal Air Transport Agency (FATA) instructed national airlines to be aware of "GPS failures, degradations, and abnormal performance."

The letter said FATA would assist aircraft crews when GPS signals are disrupted or turned off.

Pilots are advised to immediately inform air traffic controllers of "glitches, degradation and abnormal performance of GPS" or related avionics. Carriers need to assess the risks and limitations associated with failures of navigation instruments and on-board systems using the GPS signal, and conduct additional exercises with flight crews to practice actions in the event of failures in the operation of satellite navigation systems. - Izvestia

The letter said aircraft crews must be prepared to perform take-off and landings without GPS and rely on backup air navigation aids.

Izvestia outlined: "Experts believe that the recommendation to prepare does not mean a ban on the use of GPS."

Several Russian carriers, including Aeroflot and S7, have received FATA's letter. So far, they've yet to encounter GPS issues since the invasion of Ukraine.

In mid-March, Dmitry Rogozin, the director-general of Roscosmos and former deputy prime minister of Russia, said the US considered disconnecting Russia from the GPS. He noted that it would be very challenging for the US to do so.

FATA's warning comes after the European Union Aviation Safety Agency warned about increased GPS jamming and spoofing incidents following Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

Since Western sanctions are pushing Russia closer to China as a multi-polar world emerges, perhaps, if the US decides to kick Russian commercial jets off GPS, they could gravitate to a Chinese version.

SpaceX has been launching missions at a rapid clip this year. The telescope team called the whirlpool sighting rare, but there could be more of these fun views caught on camera as Falcon 9 launches become ever more routine.

An overlooked loophole allows development, manufacture and stockpiling for prophylactic, protective or other peaceful purposes.

Deborah G. Rosenbaum, the US Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological defense programs (ASD(NCB)), testified to the House subcommittee on Intelligence and Special Operations on April 1, 2022, that “I can say to you unequivocally there are no offensive biologic weapons in the Ukraine laboratories that the United States has been involved with.” With this testimony, the US Department of Defense has made a clear statement that there were no OFFENSIVE biological weapons that the US was involved with. Did you catch that slight-of-hand? No offensive biological weapons. Why would the US admit to such a thing? Wouldn’t that set off alarm bells in the international community? The answer is that developing and even stockpiling biological weapons is allowed under Article I of the convention on the prohibition of the Development, Production and Stockpiling of Bacteriological (Biological) and Toxin Weapons and on their Destruction (BWC). This international convention (treaty) allows that the development, production and stockpiling of “defensive” biological weapons are perfectly legal.

In order to understand this, we have to carefully parse what the treaty actually says. To do that, one must remove the word salad from Article I above and re-write it to say what they are saying, without saying it. So, let’s examine Article 1 by breaking it down into parts IA and IB.

Article 1A: Each State Party to this Convention undertakes never in any circumstances to develop, produce, stockpile or otherwise acquire or retain:

(1) Microbial or other biological agents, or toxins whatever their origin or method of procurement.

(2) Weapons, equipment or means of delivery designed to use such agents or toxins for hostile purposes in armed conflict.

Article 1B: Each State Party to this Convention can develop, produce, stockpile or otherwise acquire or retain:

(1) Microbial or other biological agents, or toxins whatever their origin or method of procurement for the justification for prophylactic, protective or other peaceful purposes.

Any government could drive a train through this loop-hole. As long as a signatory of this convention is developing, stockpiling, acquiring or retaining biological or toxin weapons for PROTECTION (undefined what constitutes defensive versus offensive bioweapons), they are not breaking the convention. Wow.

CIA Director William Burns acknowledged on Thursday that his agency was watching "very intently" the threat of President Vladimir Putin's willingness to use tactical or low-yield nuclear weapons as Russia continues its war in Ukraine.

Speaking to an audience at the Georgia Institute of Technology, Burns said that "potential desperation" from the Russian leadership to portray a victory in Ukraine increases the risk to the use of nuclear weapons.

“SECRET Gender Transition Closets,” Where Young Children Can “Trans” Without Their Parents’ Knowledge, Are Popping Up At Schools Across the Country

50 years ago… 20 years ago… heck, even 2 years ago under Trump… Would you ever have imagined, in your wildest nightmares, that radical leftist activists calling themselves teachers would be setting up secret areas at school for children to undress and change into trans outfits? And in middle school, no less?

Well, unfortunately, that’s exactly the hell that America has found itself in. It’s 2022, Joe Biden is President, parents are labeled terrorists while the actual terrorists are handed billions in high-tech weapons, and schools are allowing teachers to create and maintain “secret gender transition closets” that are used to encourage children to change their clothes along with their gender, behind their parent’s backs.

So-called ‘safe spaces’ for gender transition originally started in colleges, and, like all other radical education theories and tactics, these trans closets – a room stocked with transgender clothes and accessories – are now appearing at middle schools and high schools across the country.

However, since these are younger children in this scenario and not college students, the trans closets are being used for a much more nefarious agenda – hiding the trans behavior and indoctrination from parents. Instead of simply providing an array of clothing options to wear, the students are told to change into their preferred clothing when they arrive at school and change back out to what they arrived in before going home – that way their parents are kept in the dark about their child’s trans identity.

Not only are these children being indoctrinated with a radical sexual ideology that has no basis in reality, but they are also being taught to keep things hidden from them.

The Epoch Times provided several examples of these “secret gender transition closets,” which they say are popping up “more” of late, especially in the wake of the “don’t say gay” hullabaloo over Florida’s new Parental Rights bill. In one example, Thomas Martin-Edwards, a transgender California teacher and founder of the “Queer Teacher Fellowship,” explains the true goal of these secret areas in a recent TikTok video.

“The goal of the transition closet is for our students to wear the clothes that their parents approve of, come to school and then swap out into the clothes that fit who they truly are,” the teacher said.

The California Family Council and others eventually confirmed the identity of the teacher as Oakland Unified School District Spanish teacher Thomas Martin-Edwards, who is also the founder of “Queer Teacher Fellowship.”

Martin-Edwards, the teacher who runs the trans closet, is also transgender. He has posted videos of himself in the classroom showing off the stilettos he wears to school.”

As for the school? They are apparently just letting it happen. Neither the district nor the teacher responded when asked for comment by the Epoch Times.

Another example comes from Colorado, where another trans closet was found to be in operation at the Denver Conservatory Green Middle School after it was exposed on social media. Naturally, parents and people in the community were outraged, with many tweeting their displeasure at the school, which, like the other one, did not respond when asked for comment.

Furthermore, the school is demanding nearly $2,000 to produce public records related to the trans closet.

The Epoch Times had more:

“‘This is grooming,’ Tweeted one Colorado man, ‘Police should come to the classroom and arrest whoever the teacher is in this classroom.’

The original post about the Denver trans closet was made by ‘Buy Nothing Central Park’ and refers to the closet for transgender students as being started at “our school.” It also asks for clothing for the trans closet being dropped off at the school.

Megan Fox, a freelance columnist for PJ Media and co-host of the weekly YouTube show “Exposing Family Court Corruption,” recently raised $1,650 through gofundme.com to pay for documents relating to the trans closet at a Colorado school.

Fox recently wrote in her column that the school told her she had to pay $1,650 to obtain the documents, which she requested via the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). According to Fox, the school said the bill was based on 55 hours of staff time at $30 an hour to fulfill her request.”

Ukraine threatens to quit peace talks with Russia

The country’s president has named Kiev’s ‘red lines’

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky revealed on Saturday what kind of events might force his country to withdraw from peace negotiations with Moscow.

During a press conference held at one of Kiev's metro stations amid the ongoing Russian offensive in Ukraine, Zelensky was asked how Kiev would respond to potential independence referendums in the territories controlled by Russian forces. The president admitted that it would force him to stop any talks with Moscow.

“If our people are destroyed in Mariupol, if a referendum, a pseudo-referendum, is announced in any new pseudo-republics of Ukraine, Ukraine will withdraw from any negotiations process,” Zelensky said.

Two days ago, Moscow announced the capture of Mariupol. However, President Vladimir Putin called off the assault on the Azovstal factory, which remains the last holdout of Ukrainian forces, including the fighters of the neo-Nazi Azov regiment, in the strategic port city. Russian troops should “seal the area so that a fly cannot get through,” Putin instead ordered. Zelensky, meanwhile, admitted that at the moment Ukraine is not able to recapture Mariupol militarily and that the holed-up fighters there are aware of that.

Zelensky reiterated his wish to conduct direct talks with Vladimir Putin, as “the war can be stopped by the person who started it.” He explained that, as he thinks, direct negotiations could be a more effective way to reach peace than speaking via mediators.

“I want to stop the war and end it. There is a diplomatic path and a military one. Any healthy person chooses the diplomatic path because he knows that even if it is difficult, it can prevent the loss of millions of people,” Zelensky said.

Putin, meanwhile, has not ruled out a personal meeting with Zelensky, but stressed that it would depend on the progress of talks between the negotiating teams.

Commenting on the upcoming visit by UN Security General Antonio Guterres to Moscow, Zelensky claimed that it is not logical that he would travel to Russia before speaking to Kiev, but the Ukrainian leader expressed his readiness to conduct talks with Guterres as well.

Ukraine’s conditions for a peace settlement, according to Zelensky, remain the same: security guarantees for Kiev and “the fate of Donbass and Crimea,” the independence of which Kiev has categorically refused to recognize.

“I think there are no more issues,” he said.

Meanwhile, Zelensky said, the Ukrainian forces would keep fighting and, depending on weapons supplies from the West, will be recapturing territories which had been captured by the Russian forces.

“My position as president is: whatever they [Russian forces] occupy, we will return. It will not be a matter of 8 years, like from 2014, it will be immediate. This is a matter of weapons. If we have enough of them, we will immediately begin to recapture the occupied territory,” he said.

Russia has repeatedly warned NATO against sending arms to Ukraine and stated that it would consider arms convoys to be legitimate military targets. It also says that “pumping up” Ukraine with weapons will only lead to more casualties.

Abstract

Background: Bedbug infestations are increasing across North America and Europe, with more people presenting to Emergency Departments for treatment. Physicians cannot provide substantive treatment for people affected by bedbugs.

Study objective: To determine if ivermectin, a relatively inexpensive and safe, long-acting oral anti-parasitic drug is able to cause bedbug morbidity and mortality.

Methods: We evaluated the effects of ivermectin on bedbugs using an artificial feeding membrane and mice and humans. Bedbug morbidity, mortality, and nymph molting was recorded.

Results: Using an artificial feeding membrane, bedbug mortality was 98% (n = 81) for 260 ng/mL ivermectin and 0% for 0 ng/mL ivermectin (control; n = 90) after 13 days. Mortality for bedbugs fed on mice injected with the human equivalent of 200 μg/kg ivermectin was 86% (n = 22), vs. 0% in the 0 μg/kg ivermectin (control; n = 21). Of the surviving nymphs, 0% exposed to ivermectin molted by day 75, vs. 80% in the control group by day 8. Bedbugs that fed once on human study subjects 3 h after consuming 200 μg/kg of oral ivermectin had a 63% (n = 24) 20-day mortality rate, vs. 8% (n = 24) in the control group. Of the surviving nymphs, 0% (n = 5) in the 3-h ivermectin group molted, vs. 80% (n = 10) of the control group.

Conclusions: It may be possible that ivermectin could help eradicate, suppress, or prevent a bedbug infestation.

>Background: Bedbug infestations are increasing across North America and Europe, with more people presenting to Emergency Departments for treatment. Physicians cannot provide substantive treatment for people affected by bedbugs.

>Study objective: To determine if ivermectin, a relatively inexpensive and safe, long-acting oral anti-parasitic drug is able to cause bedbug morbidity and mortality.

>Methods: We evaluated the effects of ivermectin on bedbugs using an artificial feeding membrane and mice and humans. Bedbug morbidity, mortality, and nymph molting was recorded.

Results: Using an artificial feeding membrane, bedbug mortality was 98% (n = 81) for 260 ng/mL ivermectin and 0% for 0 ng/mL ivermectin (control; n = 90) after 13 days. Mortality for bedbugs fed on mice injected with the human equivalent of 200 μg/kg ivermectin was 86% (n = 22), vs. 0% in the 0 μg/kg ivermectin (control; n = 21). Of the surviving nymphs, 0% exposed to ivermectin molted by day 75, vs. 80% in the control group by day 8. Bedbugs that fed once on human study subjects 3 h after consuming 200 μg/kg of oral ivermectin had a 63% (n = 24) 20-day mortality rate, vs. 8% (n = 24) in the control group. Of the surviving nymphs, 0% (n = 5) in the 3-h ivermectin group molted, vs. 80% (n = 10) of the control group.

Conclusions: It may be possible that ivermectin could help eradicate, suppress, or prevent a bedbug infestation.

he United States Army this month is set to launch a massive “swarm” of automated drone fighters as part of a major defensive test in the Utah desert.

A fleet of ALTIUS 600 and Coyote drones will be air-launched at the Army’s Dugway Proving Ground testing facility outside of Salt Lake City, according to the Drive.

The performance is meant as a test of “an expansive use of electronic warfare and an expansive use of our interactive drone swarm,” Army Maj. Gen. Walter Rugen told the publication.

Rugen said the Army would be launching the drones “Monster Garage-style, any way we can,” a reference to the Discovery Channel show in which mechanics jury-rig vehicles to perform a variety of unexpected tasks.

“Which again shows, in my mind, just the flexibility of our air-launched effects initiatives,” Rugen added, “because we can launch it from the air. We can launch it from the ground. We can launch from fixed-wing, rotary-wing, any type of ground vehicle.”
