Russian ‘Z’ symbol gymnast speaks out over fears of lengthy ban
Russian gymnast Ivan Kuliak insists he should not be banned for his show of support for his country’s armed forces at a recent competition, with the young star’s coach saying she is braced for a lengthy suspension.
Kuliak appeared on the podium at a World Cup event in Doha earlier this month with a ‘Z’ sign attached to his leotard. The 20-year-old year later explained he had taken the step because of what he described as “unacceptable” behavior from Ukrainian rivals, whom he accused of “greatly escalating” the atmosphere at the competition.
Ivan Kuliak said he did ‘nothing wrong’, while the gymnast’s trainer revealed her concerns over a long suspension
Kuliak later told RT thathe displayed the ‘Z’ sign – which has been added to Russian military vehicles and equipment during the operation in Ukraine – because the symbol is “for victory and for peace,” and that he would not hesitate to make the gesture again.
The Gymnastics Ethics Foundation (GEF) has opened a disciplinary case against Kuliak, with Russian head coach Valentina Rodionenko fearing at least a one-year ban for the star.
Facing that prospect, Kuliak has reiterated that, in his mind, he was not in the wrong.
“In general, I consider the decision to [potentially] suspend me unfair,” said the gymnast, according to Life.ru.
“I didn’t do anything illegal, I didn’t break any rules, and now they want to ban me. In all this you can see the attitude towards our country.”
Russian head coach Rodionenko likewise said any ban would be unjust, explaining that she and fellow trainer Igor Kalabushkin could also be sanctioned, and accusing the Ukrainian delegation in Doha of inciting antagonism.
“The international federation made this decision under pressure from the Ukrainians, and some of them even advocated our lifelong disqualification,” Rodionenko told TASS.
“Lawyers are working with us now who hope they’ll save us, but personally I doubt this outcome of the case. The decision should be made at the end of March.”...

Massive fire breaks out at New Jersey Pepsi factory
Two firefighters were injured battling a massive inferno that broke out a Pepsi-Co bottling factory in New Jersey on Tuesday night, reports said.
The five-alarm blaze at the plant in Piscataway ignited around 6:30 p.m. and sent gigantic flames into sky as heavy clouds of black smoke choked the area.
The conditions forced officials were forced to shut down streets surrounding New Brunswick Avenue, authorities said.
The fire was under control by 11 p.m. But multiple crews were expected to continue working throughout the night putting out hot spots, according to The Asbury Park Press.
As first responders from around the area fled to the scene, one firefighter was hospitalized with heat exhaustion and another smoke-eater received medical attention on scene of a shoulder injury, the article said.

Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) walked out of Tuesday’s Senate hearing for Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson during a clash with Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) over the release of terror detainees from Guantanamo Bay, exclaiming at one point that he wouldn’t care if they died in prison without trial.
Graham (R-SC) had grilled Jackson about her time representing Gitmo detainees while she was a federal public defender in Washington, DC and pointed out that those released from the military prison in Cuba often returned to the battlefield to kill Americans — with some even ending up in high-ranking Taliban positions.
The South Carolina lawmaker also ranted against far-left groups who advocated for Jackson’s nomination at the expense of Graham’s preferred candidate, Palmetto State federal judge J. Michelle Childs.
“Every group that wants to pack the court, that believes this court is a bunch of right-wing nuts who are going to destroy America, that considered the Constitution trash, all wanted you picked,” Graham told Jackson.
“This is all I can say: that so many of these left-wing radical groups who would destroy the law as we know it declared war on Michelle Childs and supported you is problematic for me,” he said.
At that point, Durbin spoke up to say that Rep. Jim Clyburn (D-SC), who had advocated for Childs to be Biden’s choice, was backing Jackson’s confirmation.
“On the issue of Guantanamo, there are currently 39 detainees remaining. The annual budget is $549 million per year,” Durbin said. “Each of these detainees is being held at the expense of $13 million per year. If they were to be incarcerated at the SuperMax federal prison in Colorado, the amount would be dramatically, dramatically less.”
Graham then interjected and asked if Durbin would be willing to support “indefinite detention under the law of war for these detainees” in the US if Gitmo were closed. As Durbin began to respond, the Republican interjected, “The answer is no.”
”The system has failed miserably, and advocates to change the system — like she was advocating — would destroy our ability to protect this country,” Graham said, indicating Jackson.
“We’re at war, we’re not fighting a crime,” the Republican added. “This is not some passage of time event. As long as they’re dangerous, I hope they all die in jail. If they’re going back and kill Americans, it won’t bother me one bit if 39 of them die in prison. That’s a better outcome than letting them go. If it costs $500 million to keep ’em in jail, keep ’em in jail, because they’re going to go back to the fight.
“Look at the friggin’ Afghan government!” Graham exclaimed. “It’s made up of former detainees at Gitmo! This whole thing by the left about this war ain’t working!”
As Durbin resumed the hearing, Graham got up and walked out of the room, taking a bottle of soda with him.

ANON THEORY ON FOX NEWS POSSIBLE ROLE IN THE PLAN
DISCLAIMER: Note that I am very aware that prior to elections there were some positions or issues we were disappointed in FOX on, and we had pointed fingers that they weren't so much cleaner than any other MSM. However I still view them as the "lesser" of all of the other MSM evils and praise them for giving POTUS lot's of camera time in the first place. After all, they have their internal rules to run their business by that probably mirrors the strategy of other MSM outlets to a great degree. Luckily, I have heard Tucker Carlson say that FOX has never stopped him from producing a story or conducting an interview on his show that he wanted, and that he was given broad freedom in producing his show. He was probably one of the main shows keeping them afloat, so they pretty much had to let him to what he wanted.
I stopped watching FOX news within a week after 11/3/20 and switched to Newsmax in hopes of hearing "some truth" about the elections. We all know what has unfolded on this issue since the Nov 3rd erection, there are many more issues, but let's just put them in to these two categories to simplify:
#1 Election Fraud
#2 Biden's anti-American economic policies, such as,
-open borders
-climate change
-trade
-weakest foreign policy ever
-hyperinflation
-rising energy costs
-his record of corruption that includes his disgusting son

FOX had to stop any talk about Trump and/or the election as soon as possible. While CNN's viewership tanked, some may have migrated on a small scale to FOX, even if it was to view it and gloat over the elections. I am sure they picked up some curious normies too. Makes sense, given the fact that CNN tanked so badly, it's pretty obvious they weren't picking up vies from any particular group. Then:
-FOX revamped their broadcast schedule. (Not sure how deliberate this strategy could have been in connection with my theory, but it's possible it had some bearing on capturing some "new" viewers. Not in great numbers, but just a different type viewer).

-By shutting up about Trump and elections, that made it easier to capture normies and Libs, slowly but surely. There's just some people who aren't gonna dig and who are gonna just always listen to MSM.
-The focus became Biden's failed and shitty policies. They captured the middle/liberal audience and took the time to expose Biden (and his family) and Kamel-Toe's flaws, mistakes, stupidity, and now outright crooked and CORRUPT actions.

-FOX has been recently focusing a lot of attention now on the CORRUPT aspects of Biden, and his family. Not just failed policies and "mistakes" anymore. This is the equivalent of being favorable to Trump.
-During this entire time, Trump was still everywhere, doing his rallies, as well as going on interviews on all sorts of MSM channels. Obviously getting his message out there while FOX highlighted Biden corruption.
Lately it seems that not only Tucker, but also Maria Bartiromo, Jessie Waters, and some others have been even more focused on Biden-corruption, and more openly favorable to Trump (Dan Bongino comes to mind as a pretty big, vocal supporter of POTUS).
IN SUMMARY: It almost seems as though FOX had to keep their mouth shut about Trump/erections immediately afterwards, as well as revamp their schedule, in an effort to appeal to a newer crowd, who they are hopefully helping to awaken. I mean after a time (after they made erection fraud calm down as best they could) they started to expose the Biden / Obama / Killary / Kameltoe / Pelosi etc. policies and corruption to a newer audience.
They seem to me to be operating at their own pace, in their own mysterious way. Trump of course made digs at them not long before elections, and then of course afterward. We know he sometimes does this simply for optics. He sometimes does this to be direct and point a finger at corruption and idiocracy.
TIMING: If you look back at the timing of FOX's "reorganization " and then specifically at this time period with the current information coming out EVERYWHERE, and their narrative changing somewhat, I can't help but think this was planned.
Or at least is a small part of THE PLAN.

BRUSSELS — European Union countries on Monday accused the Russian armed forces of committing war crimes in Ukraine, but appeared unlikely to impose new sanctions on Moscow despite a clamor across Europe for those responsible for attacks on civilians to be held to account.
With civilian deaths mounting in the besieged port city of Mariupol, German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock highlighted the increase in Russian attacks on civilian infrastructure, including hospitals and theaters.
The “courts will have to decide, but for me these are clearly war crimes," Baerbock said.
EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell said before he chaired a meeting of the 27-nation bloc's foreign ministers in Brussels that “what’s happening in Mariupol is a massive war crime. Destroying everything, bombarding and killing everybody in an indiscriminate manner. This is something awful.”
The encircled southern city on the Sea of Azov has seen some of the worst horrors of the war. Multiple attempts to evacuate residents from Mariupol have failed or only partly succeeded. City officials said at least 2,300 people have died in the siege, with some buried in mass graves.
Borrell underlined that “war also has law.” The International Criminal Court in the Netherlands is gathering evidence about any possible war crimes in Ukraine, but Russia, like the United States, doesn't recognize the tribunal’s jurisdiction.
Irish Foreign Minister Simon Coveney said his country is “certainly open to other mechanisms for accountability in terms of the atrocities that are taking place in Ukraine right now.”
Coveney said Russia’s invasion of Ukraine is probably the first “war being played out on social media, where people see images happening live, and they’re outraged by it.”
“This is driving a fury across the European Union within the public as to why can’t we stop this,” he told reporters. “They want people held to account for the decisions taken and the brutality that we have seen.”
The imposition of a new round of sanctions — asset freezes and travel bans — appears unlikely for now.
Notorious for their often slow handling of fast moving international events, EU nations have rallied in just over three weeks since the invasion began on Feb. 24 to slap sanctions on 877 people. They include Russian President Vladimir Putin, senior ministers and pro-Kremlin oligarchs.
A further 62 “entities” – companies, banks, airlines and ship builders – have also been hit in near record time. But the issue of imposing restrictive measures on energy remains extremely sensitive, given the dependence of many EU countries on supplies of Russia natural gas.
A group of countries led by Germany wants a pause on new measures for now, amid concern about high energy prices and fears that Russia might halt gas exports to Europe. Some also want to save sanction ammunition for any new and major war atrocity, like the use of chemical weapons.
“We are doing everything to close loopholes in the sanctions” that have already been agreed, Baerbock said.
But Lithuanian Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis, whose country borders Russia and Belarus, warned against “sanctions fatigue.”
“We cannot get tired, imposing sanctions. We cannot get tired, offering assistance and help to Ukraine,” he said.
He said theEU must start thinking about what kind of attack by Russia would constitute a “red line” for tougher measures. The shelling of cities and civilians, he said, doesn't appear to be enough to persuade some member countries “but somewhere there, there has to be one.”
Landsbergis also said that Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia need their defenses bolstered by partner countries.
“I think we need to see more equipment, and first of all the actual defense plans (for) the Baltic countries that would reflect the changed strategic reality of the region,” he told reporters.

workshop organized by the U.S. National Research Council on Anticipating Biosecurity
Challenges of the Global Expansion of High-containment Biological Laboratories. The U.S.
Dept. of State's Biosecurity Engagement Program sponsored the workshop, which was held in
partnership with the Turkish Academy of Sciences.
The international workshop examined biosafety and biosecurity issues related to the design,
construction, maintenance, and operation of high-containment biological laboratories-
equivalent to U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention biological safety level 3 or 4
labs. Although these laboratories are needed to characterize highly dangerous human and
animal pathogens, assist in disease surveillance, and produce vaccines, they are complex
systems with inherent risks.
Biosecurity Challenges of the Global Expansion of High-Containment Biological
Laboratories summarizes the workshop discussion, which included the following topics:
• Technological options to meet diagnostic, research, and other goals;
• Laboratory construction and commissioning;
• Operational maintenance to provide sustainable capabilities, safety, and security;
and
• Measures for encouraging a culture of responsible conduct.
Workshop attendees described the history and current challenges they face in their individual
laboratories. Speakers recounted steps they were taking to improve safety and security, from
running training programs to implementing a variety of personnel reliability measures. Many
also spoke about physical security, access controls, and monitoring pathogen inventories.
Workshop participants also identified tensions in the field and suggested possible areas for
action.

The real person who was the benefactor to, and the boss of, Vice President Joe Biden’s son,
Hunter Biden, at the Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings, was not the CEO of Burisma
Holdings, Mykola Zlochevsky, but it was instead Ihor Kolomoysky [1], who was part of the newly
installed Ukrainian Government, which the Obama Administration itself had actually just
installed in Ukraine [2], in what the head of the “private CIA” firm Stratfor correctly called
“the most blatant coup in history.” [3]
Shortly after the Obama Administration’s Ukrainian coup, on March 2, 2014, Kolomoysky, who
supported Yanukovych’s overthrow, was appointed the governor of Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine. [4]
Hunter Biden, with no experience in the industry or region, would join Kolomoysky’s Burisma
Holdings two months later on May 12, 2014. [5]
A 2012 study of Burisma Holdings [6] done in Ukraine by the AntiCorruption Action Centre
(ANTAC), an investigative nonprofit co-funded by American billionaire George Soros and the
U.S. State Department [7], found that the true owner of Burisma Holdings was none other than
Ukrainian billionaire-oligarch Ihor Kolomoysky.
The study, which was funded to dig up corruption on the Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych,
instead found that Ihor Kolomoysky “managed to seize the largest reserves of natural gas in
Ukraine”.
Burisma Holdings changed owners in 2011 when it was taken over by an off-shore Cyprus
enterprise called Brociti Investments Ltd, and subsequently, moved addresses under the same
roof as Ukrnaftoburinnya and Esko-Pivnich, two Ukrainian gas companies which happened to be
also owned by Kolomoysky through off-shore entities in the British Virgin Islands.
Oleh Kanivets, who worked as CEO of Ukrnaftoburinnya, confirmed Kolomoysky as the owner of
Burisma Holding in the 2012 report saying, “The Privat Group is the immediate owner. This
company was founded by Mykola Zlochevsky some time ago, but he later sold his shares to the
Privat Group.”
In other words, Hunter Biden’s boss and benefactor at Burisma Holdings is the same Ukrainian
billionaire-oligarch who also claimed the position of boss and benefactor over Volodymyr
Zelensky before he became Ukraine’s president.

Ukraine on Tuesday, March 22, said that Russia had kidnapped children from the Donbas region. According to Ukraine's foreign ministry, 2,389 children from the Russia-controlled Donbas region were “illegally deported” to Russia.
The Donbas region in Ukraine has had a significant pro-Russian separatist presence since the Russo-Ukrainian war of 2014. In recent days, the region has come into focus after two constituents of the region — Donetsk and Luhansk — were recognised as independent entities by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
Putin even secured rights to set up military installations in the two "independent republics". The region is essentially under Russian control now.
Ukraine's allegation on Tuesday comes on the heels of a series of accusations of Russia targeting children in its invasion. Last week, Ukraine said that Russia had bombed a theatre in Mariupol where many, including children, had taken shelter. Satellite images showed the word "children" in a large Russian script painted on the ground outside the red-roofed Mariupol Drama Theatre.

On Wednesday, the World Economic Forum (WEF), along with Russia’s Sberbank and its cybersecurity subsidiary BI.ZONE announced that a new global cyberattack simulation would take place this coming July to instruct participants in “developing secure ecosystems” by simulating a supply-chain cyberattack similar to the recent SolarWinds hack that would “assess the cyber resilience” of the exercise’s participants.
On the newly updated event website, the simulation, called Cyber Polygon 2021, ominously warns that, given the digitalization trends largely spurred by the COVID-19 crisis, “a single vulnerable link is enough to bring down the entire system, just like the domino effect,” adding that “a secure approach to digital development today will determine the future of humanity for decades to come.”
The exercise comes several months after the WEF, the “international organization for public-private cooperation” that counts the world’s richest elite among its members, formally announced its movement for a Great Reset, which would involve the coordinated transition to a Fourth Industrial Revolution global economy in which human workers become increasingly irrelevant.
This revolution, including its biggest proponent, WEF founder Klaus Schwab, has previously presented a major problem for WEF members and member organizations in terms of what will happen to the masses of people left unemployed by the increasing automation and digitalization in the workplace.
