Disney misinformation: No, Disney CEO Bob Chapek was not arrested for human trafficking

Disney CEO Bob Chapek has had his share of critical headlines in March over backlash to the company’s response to Florida’s so-called “Don’t Say Gay” bill. One particular headline trending on Twitter Thursday, however, was completely made up.

The Twitter account which first spread the claim purports to belong to Michael P. Senger, a San Francisco-based lawyer who had previously been suspended from Twitter for spreading COVID-19 misinformation. Theme Park Tribune could not verify whether the account actually belongs to Senger, the account itself insists it’s legitimate.

The account claimed on Thursday that Chapek has been arrested for human trafficking, even deeming the Disney chief “a pedophile.” Its source was an two-paragraph article posted on a site called Vancouver Times. An archived version of the article is available here, spinning a fanciful, if vague, tale of Chapek being charged with multiple felonies “including trafficking a child across state lines, and possession of child pornography.”

The tweets failed to mention that Vancouver Times publishes fake stories. The site’s About Us page states, “Vancouver Times is the most trusted source for satire on the West Coast. We write satirical stories about issues that affect conservatives.”

The Vancouver Times article did reference a real sting operation in Polk County, Florida related to human trafficking, alleged child sex predators and prostitution. Out of 108 people arrested in the operation, Disney confirmed that three of its employees were among them, including a lifeguard at the Polynesian Resort near the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Chapek was never mentioned.

Despite the article coming from a site calling itself satire, the false claim spread on social media. As of this writing, Senger’s initial tweet had been retweeted 6,000 times and liked 14,000 times. The Vancouver Times article itself has been shared by Twitter accounts with a combined 109,000 followers and on Facebook pages with a combined 89,000 followers, according to analytics tool CrowdTangle.

This is far from the first hoax to spread online about arrests of major public figures. The narrative that a Disney CEO would be arrested for human trafficking fits in with the beliefs of QAnon, a wide-ranging (and nonexistent) conspiracy that posits that a cabal of elite Satanist, cannibalistic pedophiles controls the world.

Back in reality, Chapek is dealing with criticism from both sides of the political spectrum over the company’s delayed public opposition to a bill in Florida. Dubbed the “Don’t Say Gay” legislation by opponents, the bill forbid forbid “classroom discussion about sexual orientation or gender identity” in public schools from kindergarten through third grade “or in a manner that is not age-appropriate or developmentally appropriate for students in accordance with state standards.”

Chapek made three statements on the bill in the span of a week. First, he called a public rebuke of it “counterproductive.” Then he publicly opposed it, but had a $5 million Disney donation to a LGBTQ+ rights group rejected. He then issued another statement saying the initial response “missed the mark.”

As the Orlando Sentinel reported Thursday, a group claiming to represent Disney employees are planning to stage a walkout across the country to show their displeasure with Chapek’s response.

From the right, Florida Gov. DeSantis slammed Chapek’s public opposition to the bill, saying in a statement, “In Florida, our policies are going to be based on the interests of Florida citizens, not on the musing of woke corporations.”

Correction: An earlier version of this article attributed the Twitter account mentioned above to Michael P. Senger. Theme Park Tribune could not verify whether or not Senger actually owns the account, as his official account had already been suspended. We regret and apologize for the error.

Police said the home is tied to two people who were arrested Wednesday after an alleged domestic incident in the 9600 block of Southmill Drive, which is a little over a mile away from the home on Durwood.

Police got a call Wednesday about a woman being held against her will in the home on Southmill Drive. They said they were able to help her safely leave the home.

21-year-old Sydney Crowe of Henrico was arrested and charged with contempt and possession of drugs, and 52-year-old Michael Hardy of Henrico was arrested and charged with strangulation resulting in simple assault against a family member, according to police.

Both Crowe and Hardy are being held without bond and both have ties to the home on Durwood Crescent, according to police.

Plan to Re-Open The Capitol Revealed After Being Closed for Two Years

Earlier this week, a plan was revealed to re-open the U.S. Capitol, which has been closed for over two years now. It’s taking place in stages, though, so that it won’t be fully open to visitors until Labor Day, which falls on Monday, September 5, this year. That’s almost six months away.

The phased re-opening is set to begin later this month, on March 28. Fox News’ Chad Pergram shared details over Twitter.

A Monday report from POLITICO also indicated that the timeline could be affected by Capitol Police shortages. Last week’s passage of the omnibus, though, provided less of an excuse, considering it “included an $87 million increase in funding for the Capitol Police, which appropriators said would allow the department to hire up to 2,112 sworn officers and 450 civilian members.”

Rep. Bryan Steil (R-WI) and Sen. Bill Hagerty (R-TN) have proposed resolutions in their chambers to force a re-opening of the Capitol. On Tuesday, Rep. Steil, who has talked to Townhall previously about his resolution, issued a statement condemning the timeline.

“The phased reopening of the United States Capitol is simply insufficient. Museums, stadiums, businesses, and workplaces across the country have successfully reopened, and the United States Capitol shouldn’t be any different. The House resolution I introduced, with the support of over 80 of my colleagues, calls for the Capitol’s reopening to be made a top priority that is done expeditiously and safely. The phased reopening and proposed Labor Day goal for fully reopening is insufficient. We need to reopen the Capitol and People’s House now,” Steil said.

Democratic leadership has referenced not only the pandemic, but also January 6, 2021, as to why the People’s House has been kept closed.

Russia-Backed RT News Channel Has License Revoked in U.K.

U.K. media regulator Ofcom has revoked the broadcast license of Russia’s state-backed news channel RT “with immediate effect.”

“We do not consider RT to be fit and proper to hold a U.K. licence and cannot be satisfied that it can be a responsible broadcaster,” Ofcom announced Friday.

“Today’s decision comes amid 29 ongoing investigations by Ofcom into the due impartiality of RT’s news and current affairs coverage of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine,” it added in a further statement.

“This investigation has taken account of a number of factors, including RT’s relationship with the Russian Federation. It has recognised that RT is funded by the Russian state, which has recently invaded a neighbouring sovereign country. We also note new laws in Russia which effectively criminalise any independent journalism that departs from the Russian state’s own news narrative, in particular in relation to the invasion of Ukraine. We consider that given these constraints it appears impossible for RT to comply with the due impartiality rules of our Broadcasting Code in the circumstances.”

In response, RT described Ofcom as a “tool of the government.”

RT, the licenses for which are held by ANO TV Novosti, has come under increased fire from across Europe since Russia began its invasion of Ukraine. In February, the European Union announced that it was banning both RT and fellow Russia-backed channel Sputnik as part of increased sanctions against Vladimir Putin’s government.

“Russia Today and Sputnik, as well as their subsidiaries, will no longer be able to spread their lies to justify Putin’s war and to sow division in our union,” said European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. “So we are developing tools to ban their toxic and harmful disinformation in Europe.”

Elector Files Complaint Accusing Madison, Wisconsin, Mayor and City Clerk of Election Bribery

An elector in Madison, Wisconsin, filed a complaint on Thursday against Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway and Clerk Maribeth Witzel-Behl, accusing them of election bribery after making a deal with Center for Tech and Civic Life (CTCL) which constituted prohibited election bribery under Wisconsin statutes.

“In the agreement, the Respondents and their City agreed to take Center for Tech and Civic Life’s money to facilitate in-person and absentee voting within their city,” according to the complaint.

“Any agreement where the City’s election officials receive Center for Tech and Civic Life’s or other’s private money to facilitate in-person and absentee voting within the city violates Wisconsin Statutes 12.11’s prohibition on election bribery,” the complaint stated.

Attorney Erick Kaardal of Thomas More Society said, “The evidence in this complaint is overwhelming and condemning.”

“Even on the surface, given all benefit of doubt, there is no question that Mayor Rhodes-Conway and Clerk Witzel-Behl accepted private money from the Center for Tech and Civic Life to facilitate in-person and absentee voting in Madison. This is in violation of Wisconsin election law,” he added.

The mayor and city clerk of Madison, Wisconsin, are being accused of election bribery in a complaint filed March 17, 2022, in the State of Wisconsin before the Elections Commission. Thomas More Society attorneys acted on behalf of a Madison, Wisconsin, voter to levy allegations against Madison Mayor Satya Rhodes-Conway and Madison City Clerk Maribeth Witzel-Behl, stating that these officials acted in violation of Wisconsin’s election bribery law, Statute § 12.11, by accepting private money from the Center for Tech and Civic Life in order to facilitate in-person and absentee voting.

The complaint filing comes on the heels of a trend, in which 16 states have now passed legislation to ban or regulate the acceptance and use of private funds by public election officers. Thomas More Society attorneys have litigated this issue successfully in eight states. Arizona and Texas passed legislation addressing this issue, and in Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin, the legislature passed laws regulating this conduct, but those laws were vetoed by Democrat governors. Three other states, Minnesota, Iowa, and South Carolina have passed bills regulating this conduct, and are now waiting for those bills to be enacted. In Wisconsin, several counties, including Walworth County and Brown County, have passed, or are considering such bans, of so-labeled “dark money” in elections.

The Madison complaint contends that Rhodes-Conway and Witzel-Behl entered into an agreement with the Center for Tech and Civic Life, a partisan, special interest organization, to accept more than $1.2 million to facilitate in-person and absentee voting in the city, which is a violation of Wisconsin law. The Center for Tech and Civic Life is a non-profit Chicago-based organization, led and staffed by former Democratic activists and funded by billionaire Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg and his wife, Priscilla Chan, to influence the 2020 election.

This latest complaint before the commission follows a previous complaint against Kenosha, which asserted violations of election law and bribery of election officials by the Center for Tech and Civic Life. Additionally, the first round of Wisconsin Election Commission complaints filed by Thomas More Society attorneys representing groups of private citizens also included allegations against Kenosha, Racine, Green Bay, and Milwaukee.

Attorney Erick Kaardal, Thomas More Society Special Counsel, explained that the complaint details a massive scheme on the part of the Center for Tech and Civic Life, to usurp the administration of the election, a core traditional governmental function. Under the guise of COVID-19 prevention and via the illegal dumping of private money into the municipal process, the Center for Tech and Civic Life handed control of the 2020 election in Wisconsin over to private partisan interests, in the form of its “partners.”

Lawyer For Mother Of Hunter Biden's Daughter Says He Expects President's Son To Be Indicted

The past few weeks have been tough for Hunter Biden and, by extension, the rest of the Biden family. On March 1, news broke that Hunter Biden's longtime business partner and friend Devon Archer was sentenced to a year in federal prison for defrauding a Native American tribe. Then just yesterday, the New York Times published an investigation revealing that although the younger Biden had paid his outstanding tax liability - which was reportedly greater than $1 million, and which required him to take out a loan to pay it off - a federal investigation into his failure to pay taxes on his earnings from overseas has continued.

Much lower in the NYT story, America's "paper of record" mentioned the laptop belonging to Hunter Biden that was reportedly abandoned at a computer repair shop, and subsequently became the heart of a NY Post story published shortly before the 2020 election (which was subsequently ignored by the MSM because of unfounded rumors that the materials had been stolen by Russian hackers, or that the laptop itself was some kind of plant). It didn't only mention the laptop, but also confirmed that it was authentic. We previously reported on how the NYT sued to obtain copies of emails mentioning Biden and his exploits allegedly gleaned from Romanian embassy officials.

And in the latest blow to the reputation of the president's perennially troubled son, a lawyer for the mother of Hunter Biden's 3-year-old daughter (who was born out of wedlock to a woman who allegedly slept with the younger Biden while working as an exotic dancer) said during an interview with CNBC that he expects the younger Biden "to be indicted" for tax fraud.

Attorney Clint Lancaster told CNBC that his client, Lunden Roberts, had recently testified in Delaware before a federal grand jury in the criminal investigation into the 52-year-old presidential scion. The lawyer based his commentary on "what I saw" in Biden's financial records.

Lancaster said he and Roberts were interviewed by an assistant U.S. attorney, an FBI agent and an IRS agent — “one that carries a badge and gun” — more than a year ago about Biden in Little Rock, Ark., where Lancaster practices law.

"I expect him to be indicted," the lawyer said about Biden. "Just based on what I saw in his financial records, I would be surprised if he’s not indicted."

Lancaster later added that neither he nor his client want Hunter Biden to go to jail.

"It’s not my goal, much to the unhappiness of many people in the Republican Party," said Lancaster, a supporter of former President Donald Trump who in late 2020 worked on a legal challenge to results that showed Biden had won the state of Wisconsin that year.

NJ chef who appeared on ‘Chopped’ charged with sexually assaulting minor

A New Jersey restaurateur who appeared on the Food Network’s “Chopped” has been charged with sexually assaulting a minor, prosecutors said.

Shalom “Sal” Yehudiel, who owns Teaneck’s kosher eatery The Humble Toast and Italian restaurant La Cucina Di Nava, was arrested Wednesday in Newark on charges of sexual assault and endangering the welfare of a child, Bergen County prosecutors said.

FBI agents contacted Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Mussella’s office in November regarding the alleged assault. A months-long probe revealed Yehudiel, 40, sexually assaulted a child under the age of 16 in Teaneck on more than one occasion, Mussella said.

Yehudiel, a married father originally from Israel, remains held without bail Friday at the Bergen County Jail, online records show.

The well-known local chef appeared on “Chopped” in 2020, becoming the first contestant to observe kosher dietary laws during the competition, according to NorthJersey.com.

Yuhudiel didn’t win, but many Jewish customers and fans considered his appearance a victory for the community.

The chef was also known for donating food to needy people and local soup kitchens, but that philanthropic image was shattered when two women accused Yuhudiel in lawsuits last year of sexually assaulting them, NorthJersey.com reported in December.

The Rabbinical Council of Bergen County announced earlier that month Yehudiel, of Surfside, Florida, voluntarily stepped away from day-to-day operations at his eateries.

Activists for local rabbis also wanted The Humble Toast’s kosher certification revoked as a result of the accusations, NorthJersey.com reported.

It’s unclear if the charges filed Wednesday against Yehudiel are connected to one of the women who sued him last year. He has denied wrongdoing and filed counterclaims against the two women, alleging he’s being extorted, according to NorthJersey.com.

In late November, roughly 30 protesters urged people not to eat at Yehudiel’s kosher deli, insisting they “support victims” instead of abusers, the outlet reported.

“People were shocked,” rally organizer Netanel Zellis-Paley told NorthJersey.com. “Some of them said they wouldn’t eat [at] the restaurant anymore.”

In the pair of lawsuits, a former waitress and hostess at The Humble Toast alleged Yehudiel abused her between October 2018 and May 2019 when she was 17 years old. He made lewd comments and forced her to perform oral sex in his office before she later resigned, “emotionally distraught and overwhelmed,” her filing alleged.

A second lawsuit was filed by a woman who claimed Yehudiel met her at a synagogue in Fair Lawn when she was 15, NorthJersey.com reported. He later allegedly pushed her up against a wall, kissing and groping her during alleged abuse that lasted about two years.

The United Nations demands everyone is allowed across borders, but is this undermining the spirit of generosity for people fleeing Ukraine?

The intense wave of migration from Ukraine is said to be the Europe’s fastest in decades. But it has now been reported that as many as 30 percent of the Ukrainian arrivals are migrants of other nationalities, many of whom originate from Africa and the Middle East.

France, one of the many countries opening their borders to Ukrainian refugees, has declared a welcome for up to 100,000 people. The country does not require visas for entry for refugees from Ukraine, having recently permitted an asylum scheme for Ukrainians which allows them to remain in the country visa-free for at least a year. The announcement came after a speech from President Emmanuel Macron wherein he stated, “France, like all other European countries, will do its part to assist the Ukrainian people, but also to welcome refugees from this country.”

French Prime Minister Jean Castex recently revealed that around 5,000 have arrived so far in the country since Russia’s invasion on February 24th, and that the number of Ukrainian refugees was “increasing rapidly”.

Now it is reported that many of the new arrivals being identified by French authorities are not Ukrainian. Allegedly, “7.5 percent are of Algerian nationality, while 3.5 percent of arrivals are from the Ivory Coast and Morocco respectively … Indians and Kyrgyzstan nationals are next on the list at 2.5 percent apiece, while other nationalities arriving include the Democratic Republic of Congo, Cameroon, Pakistan, Nigeria, and China” according to Remix News and Le Figaro.

The United Nations Refugee Agency has insisted that countries do not discriminate “against any person or group” and to “continue to maintain access to territory for all those fleeing”. Neighboring nations across Europe have kept their borders open for refugees, with roughly three million migrants having fled the war in Ukraine, so far.

Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said in 2020 that revelations about Hunter Biden’s authenticated “laptop from hell” is a “smear” campaign from the Kremlin.

“We know that this whole smear on Joe Biden comes from the Kremlin. That’s been clear for well over a year now that they’ve been pushing this false narrative about the vice president and his son,” so-called “Pencil Neck Schiff,” told anchor CNN’s, Wolf Blitzer.

Schiff was not alone in claiming Hunter’s laptop was likely Russian disinformation. Speaking with Senate Foreign Relations Committee member Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT), CNN anchor Jim Sciutto asked why he believes Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation that was constructed by a “Kremlin contacted, anti-Biden propaganda campaign.”

“So the very fact that these emails come into the pubic sphere by Rudy Giuliani… tells you when they are coming from,” the Senator tried to support his wild theory. “At some point, you kind of have to believe what you see, which is that when individuals are either identified Russian agents or are conspiring with Russian agents are providing the information upon which the mainstream media are reporting, you have to understand what the deal is here.”

Schiff’s comments come after the New York Times admitted the laptop was Hunter’s nearly two years since the New York Post story broke from now-Breitbart News’ Political Editor Emma-Jo Morris. The authentication is a blow to Biden and his Democrat lieutenants, who have claimed for years the laptop is Russian disinformation.

A recent study carried out by scientists at Arizona State University and the Mayo Clinic, published in the journal Science Advances, sheds light on the possible mechanisms of blood clotting seen with adenovirus vaccines.

They discovered that the negative charge of the vaccine particle attracted the positive charge of a protein in the blood, platelet factor 4 (PF4).

As a possible solution to combat this, the scientists added heparin, a drug used to stop blood clotting.

When asked if the same clotting mechanism could be responsible for the complications associated with the J&J adenovirus-based vaccine, manuscript first author Dr. Alexander Baker replied: “I think it’s a bit early to say this is the main/only driver. The documents identify the “Azov Battalion” as the recipient of those funds, as well as reveal a great deal of coordination between neo-Nazi groups based in the U.S. and the Ukrainian National Guard unit.

According to the documents, the funds were diverted to these various organizations in an attempt to destabilize the West, and the U.S. in particular, during Trump’s presidency by inflaming racial tensions, which continued throughout his term and culminated in the “Floyd’s Rebellion” riots throughout 2020, En-Volve.com reported last week.

According to Jacobin Magazine, which linked to a criminal complaint filed by FBI Special Agent Scott Bierwirth in October 2018 (.pdf file here), a 2018 bureau affidavit states that the Azov Battalion “is believe to have participated in training and radicalizing United States-based white supremacy organizations,” to include members of the Rise Above Movement (RAM), some of whom were prosecuted for planned assaults on counterprotesters at events like the “Unite the Right” rally in Charlottesville.

Added DailyVeracity.com: “While the US government focuses on jailing and sanctioning right-wing dissidents in the US using the help of tech companies, uncovered documents reveal the US indirectly sent taxpayer dollars to neo-nazi groups and Charlottesville rioters abroad. This means that funding of the Azov Battalion specifically designed for countering Russian influence within Ukraine, indirectly helped train one of the most prominent groups prosecuted after the 2017 Charlottesville rally.”

The Center for International Security and Cooperation at Stanford University in California, which tracks the RAM organization, also noted:

RAM was hosted by Olena Semenyaka, head of the National Corps, the political wing of the Azov Battalion, a unit of the Ukrainian National Guard with neo-Nazi and white supremacist affiliations. Semenyaka later stated that Rundo and his compatriots “came to learn our ways” and “showed interest in learning how to create youth forces in the ways Azov has.” During their visit, the RAM members joined the Azov Battalion for sparring at the Reconquista Club, a mixed martial arts (MMA) club affiliated with the group. Rundo entered an MMA competition for white supremacists from across Europe, supposedly the first American to take part in the history of the event. While in Kiev, Rundo also got a tattoo of the Viking warrior logo of White Rex, a clothing label founded by Russian MMA fighter and Azov Battalion associate Denis Nikitin.

There is also documentation online of Ukrainian military action featuring soldiers and fighters adorned with neo-Nazi insignia.

At Least 200K Mismatched Signatures: Study of 2020 Maricopa County Ballot Envelopes Points to Flawed System

Shiva Ayyadurai, the founder of the Election Systems Integrity Institute, has released a study concluding that the Maricopa County, Arizona, mail-in ballot signature verification process is deeply flawed.

The study, released last week, found that the county allowed approximately 200,000 ballot envelopes with mismatched signatures to be forwarded for counting without further review.

Ayyadurai, a systems engineer with multiple degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, testified last fall before the Arizona Senate regarding the findings of the Maricopa County 2020 general election audit.

One of his most noteworthy statements was that his team determined there were 34,448 duplicate ballot envelopes from 17,126 unique voters.

Maricopa County officials rejected the finding at the time and released a report in January stating that the reason for the duplicate envelopes was that those ballots had gone through the curing process, where the ballot was returned to the voter to correct a lack of signature or another deficiency.

However, using the most conservative standards, ESII calculated that many more should have been returned.

Researchers reported that11.3percent of the approximately 1.9 million mail-in ballots should have gone through the curing process, rather than the 1.31 percent that did.

That translates to more than 215,000 needing to be cured versus the “upwards of 25,000” identified by Maricopa County.

“I found it fascinating that they didn’t give us an exact number. They just said up to 25,000,” Ayyadurai told The Western Journal, noting the county called it a “rigorous signature verification process.”

“So the bottom line is this, that if you’re doing curing, that means for every cured envelope, there should be the verified and approved [one]. That’s what they’re saying,” he added.

“Which means you should know exactly how many were cured. Why did you say, ‘Upward of 25,000’? Because we found out exactly 17,126 were duplicate images, that means we definitively know how many were cured. Why isn’t the county saying exactly how many were cured?”

Maricopa County said it rejected only 587 ballots of those that went through the curing process. In other words, just 0.03 percent of the mail-in ballots cast were not allowed to be counted.

Ayyadurai said it’s noteworthy the county has not tried to explain the difference between the 25,000 and 17,126 figures.

“I think the crickets is what’s interesting. There’s absolute silence from the county,” he said.

Russia Allegedly Presents More Evidence of US Biolab Research in Ukraine at UN Security Council Meeting

The Russian Ambassador to the UN Security Council Vassily Nebenzia charged that a “US-implemented program” of biological research in Ukraine may have triggered “uncontrolled dangerous infections in Ukraine”, including rubella, diphtheria, tuberculosis, measles, polio, and swine flu during his speech last week. Nebenzia added, “By March 2016, a total of 364 people died of swine flu in Ukraine.”

“While the US itself shut down military-purpose biological research on its territory due to high risks it posed to American population, the Kiev authorities actually agreed to turn their country into a biological testing site and have their citizens used as potential test subjects,” Nebenzia charged. Materials confiscated by the Russian Defense Ministry “prove that all serious high-risk research in Ukrainian biolabs was directly supervised by US experts who had diplomatic immunity,” Nebenzia claimed.

During wartime, Russian claims must be viewed with the same degree of skepticism as those of all other warring parties. Nonetheless, due to the seriousness of the charges, and since its substance has been completely ignored by the mainstream media, Gateway Pundit documented the entire speech by Vassily Nebenzia in an earlier post.

On Friday the Russian ambassador presented more evidence against the United States at the UN Security Council.

Nebenzia accused the US of funding “components for biological weapons created in the territory of Ukraine.”

Citing the P781 project that was studied, the Russians alleged that the US was experimenting with the “transmission to humans of diseases through bats…6 families of viruses were identified including Coronaviruses…”

The Russians made a similar accusation last week.

The US responded, “This is malarkey, there are no biological weapons programs in Ukraine, this is a dark conspiracy theory.”

So why did they try to hide the “research facilities from the public? Why did they fear Russians getting ahold of their “facilities” if there’s nothing to hide?

House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy said GOP Rep. Madison Cawthorn, of North Carolina, was "wrong" to call Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy a "thug" — but says he will still be supporting Cawthorn's reelection bid.

The North Carolina Republican has come under fire in recent days, after reports — and then a video — emerged in which he told supporters in Asheville, North Carolina, "Zelenskyy is a thug," and "Remember that the Ukrainian government is incredibly corrupt, and it is incredibly evil, and it has been pushing woke ideologies."

His view in the minority — the Ukrainian president is widely admired around the world and in Congress as an inspiring leader who has united his people and much of the international community against a withering and unprovoked assault by Russia. When Zelenskyy addressed Congress earlier this week, he received a standing ovation from lawmakers of both parties.

Cawthorn's comments are reportedly being played repeatedly on Russian state TV, according to NBC News reporter Raf Sanchez.

Asked about Cawthorn's comments Friday, McCarthy responded, "Madison is wrong. If there's any thug in this world, it's Putin."

But the GOP leader, asked by a reporter whether he would support Cawthorn's House reelection bid, replied "yes."

Cawthorn's comments, which came to light as Congress has moved swiftly to punish Russia for its invasion of Ukraine, are the latest example of McCarthy's struggle to manage a fractious conference. Last month, Reps. Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia and Paul Gosar of Arizona appeared before the America First Political Action Conference, which is organized by white nationalist Nick Fuentes. Greene has also faced condemnation for several comments comparing COVID-19 mandates to the Holocaust.

McCarthy often handles these issues with private conversations with his members. The only lawmaker who has faced lingering consequences is Wyoming Republican Rep. Liz Cheney, who was removed from her leadership position in the House Republican conference after repeatedly criticizing former President Trump for his role in the January 6 riot.

McCarthy has also endorsed Wyoming trial attorney Harriet Hageman, who is challenging Cheney in her primary election.

Pentagon-funded labs in nations bordering Russia and China need to be opened up for inspections, the Russian FM said

Russia suspects Pentagon-funded bioresearch laboratories in foreign nations, including those in Ukraine, may pose a threat because of the secrecy surrounding their work, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov told RT. Washington apparently didn’t want to risk exposing its own people to the pathogenic threat, he suggested.

“The Americans some years ago decided that it was too dangerous to do [such research] on their own soil. So, they moved all these threatening and dangerous activities to other countries,” Lavrov claimed.

“More and more they concentrate their research and experiments around the borders of the Russian Federation and China,” he remarked.

Lavrov was referring to biolabs funded by the Pentagon’s Defense Threat Reduction Agency, the existence of which was highlighted during Russia’s attack on Ukraine. The Russian military claims it has discovered evidence that the work in Ukrainian labs funded by the US Department of Defense had military applications.

Washington has denied the claims, which had reiterated Russia’s previous suspicions about research undertaken on foreign territory in return for American grants. The US government said the labs existed to study emerging infections throughout the world and served as an epidemic early warning system.

Last night, my Grandson, Cyrus Anderson, was ripped from the arms of his mother (my daughter), by police officers from the Meridian Police Department (Idaho). It was a kidnapping, pure and simple! There are no words or emotional expression that can describe the sheer measure of wickedness that we experienced, nor the feeling of being forced at gunpoint to separate from your child.

Make no mistake about it—this is not an extreme claim or emotional over-reaction—Baby Cyrus was kidnapped. This is happening more and more in America as unfettered social workers, in conjunction with arrogant and overreaching police officers forcefully steal children from their parents.

My daughter and son-in-law are wonderful, Christian, God fearing parents who have dedicated their life to loving and nurturing Baby Cyrus.

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED:

Baby Cyrus was sick last week and vomiting so my daughter took him to St. Luke’s Pediatric Center where after receiving terrible treatment, they were released after about a week, with Baby Cyrus having a clean bill of health, after undergoing every exam, test, and review imaginable. We were all thankful and relieved to see Cyrus home and healthy.

Marissa and Levi continued to take Cyrus to a local Pediatrician, Dr. Aaron Dykstra of Functional Medicine of Idaho for additional review and weigh-ins. All was well and good, however Cyrus did have a day where he vomited again after trying goat’s milk powder—which was suggested to help add calories to his food intake. Apparently, Cyrus has an issue where his body cannot fully digest proteins yet, so he has to stick to breastmilk still because he is not quite ready for solid food.

After Marissa woke up not feeling well in her stomach yesterday morning (Friday the 11th), she decided to call the Pediatrician’s office to let them know she would not come in that day. That was it. That should have been that. But instead, Dr. Aaron Dykstra called CPS and reported “child endangerment,” and had CPS contact Marissa via text message.

Shortly thereafter, two police officers came to their address, asking for Baby Cyrus—but Marissa, Levi, and Cyrus were not there. So they put out a BOLO “Be on the Lookout” for Levi’s truck. And last night, Levi, Marissa, and Cyrus, along with the rest of my family, were over at a friend’s house enjoying dinner. We all left together in 2 separate cars and were followed by a Garden City police officer to a nearby gas station.

The police officer detained them and then called for backup. Within minutes, multiple officers arrived. The Meridian detectives then arrived along with well over a dozen officers and squad cars. They acted like they were arresting Al Capone.

The officers violated multiple rights, did not follow the constitution or other laws and statutes and arrested both of my daughters, handcuffed Levi, and then forcefully stripped Baby Cyrus away from his crying mother (my daughter), for alleged “child endangerment” because they canceled a pediatric appointment and the doctor called CPS claiming that Cyrus was “underweight.”

Marissa was smart enough to Facebook Livestream the whole ordeal because they took her into the Ambulance to rip Cyrus out of her arms so it was out of public view.

That’s it. That’s the sum total of the ENTIRE STORY. An appointment was canceled. My grandson is “underweight.” And that was enough for an overzealous Pediatrician, a control-freak social worker, and scores of tyrannical police officers to violently rip my grandson away from his loving parents under the guise of a “medical emergency.”

Shelter Care Hearing End-of-Day Update

First of all, thank you for all of your incredible support and your constant prayers. As you now know, Magistrate Judge Laurie Fortier awarded custody of Baby Cyrus to the State of Idaho. There are no words to describe the horror that our family has experienced. Unfortunately, from what we’ve heard, this judge is famous for destroying families and ripping children away from their families without evidence.

Today was what they call a “Shelter Care Hearing” where the court rules what will happen with the child that has been kidnapped. Contrary to ALL EVIDENCE—including a statement from a doctor from St. Luke’s Hospital that Baby Cyrus is medically stable and that there is no reason for him not to be reunited with his parents—and tons more evidence to show that there was no DUE PROCESS, and that the state didn’t have any right to take Baby Cyrus from his parents for only being “underweight," the judge still ruled viciously against Marissa and Levi.

The next hearing is called the "adjudicatory hearing” and it is where they actually decide to re-unify Cyrus with his parents or if Cyrus stays in foster care. Yes, Cyrus is now in foster care. This adjudicatory hearing will be on April 8th. This is devastating on so many fronts:

1. The most important of all is the fact that Baby Cyrus is still not healthy or totally well. Based on his history he will be okay for a few days and in a few more days he will start vomiting again. And the foster care parents will not know what to do. And there is no way anybody other than Levi and Marissa will be able to carry Baby Cyrus through. And most of all, Baby Cyrus needs breastmilk. And he needs to be with his mother.

2. Baby Cyrus is emotionally crushed. The social workers today told Marissa and Levi that Cyrus is not sleeping well. The social workers even repeated multiple times that “Baby Cyrus misses his mommy.” Well, duh! GIVE HIM BACK! If Baby Cyrus is not sleeping, he cannot heal.

March 17th Update:

Baby Cyrus was given over to the state Idaho yesterday at the “shelter care hearing.” As a result, we have some very important news to share with you at our Press Conference at 5:00 pm today at the Health and Welfare Department. We are going to uncover what is really going on and we are going to launch our offensive against these corrupt tyrants at the Department of Health and Welfare in peaceful PRAYER AND PROTEST today

So we have some more bad news, unfortunately. Social workers speaking with Marissa said that Baby Cyrus doesn’t crawl or sit up on his own. They were curious about his “development.” But of course, Cyrus has been crawling and sitting up on his own for over 3 months! He is obviously deteriorating in their custody. 😞

Democrats Sue To Disqualify 3 GOP Congressmen From 2022 Ballot, Alleging Role In Insurrection, Election Manipulation

Democratic Party activists in Wisconsin have filed a suit in federal court arguing that a pro-Trump senator and two pro-Trump congressmen should be barred from office for speaking out on 2020 election irregularities and allegedly attempting to manipulate the congressional certification of the presidential election results.

The Wisconsin Republican lawmakers targeted by the suit are two-term Sen. Ron Johnson, two-term Rep. Tom Tiffany, and freshman Rep. Scott Fitzgerald. All are seeking reelection in November.

The suit claims the lawmakers cannot serve in Congress because the disqualification clause in Section 3 of the 14th Amendment forbids it. That rarely invoked constitutional provision was enacted in the wake of the Civil War to keep former Confederates out of Congress.

Johnson dismissed the lawsuit, telling The Epoch Times it is “total nonsense.”

“Democrats have ignored the Summer 2020 riots and relentlessly used January 6th [2021] as a political cudgel,” Johnson said in an emailed statement. “Now, they’ve used January 6th to file a frivolous lawsuit against me, similar to the one dismissed by a court last week.”

The lawsuit claims the lawmakers “used their public positions of authority to illegally foment an atmosphere meant to intimidate and pressure Vice President [Mike] Pence and Congress to take actions inconsistent with the facts and with their duties under the Electoral Count Act and the U.S. Constitution.”

The lawmakers used “their powers as public officials and their respective bully pulpits to undermine public trust in the outcome of the election and to enable a criminal scheme to institute fraudulent electors (in Wisconsin and elsewhere) to manufacture a constitutional crisis on January 6, 2021, over how to count the electoral ballots.”

The legal action claims the lawmakers illegally pressured Pence, in his role as presiding officer at the joint session of Congress certifying the 2020 electoral votes on Jan. 6, 2021, to “unilaterally reject the legitimate electoral votes of Wisconsin and six other states for the Biden–Harris ticket.”

On Jan. 6, 2021, there was a security breach at the U.S. Capitol in which supporters of then-President Donald Trump delayed the congressional certification of the 2020 presidential election results for several hours. Democrats and some Republicans characterize the disturbance, from which some elected officials took cover, as an insurrection or coup attempt aimed at overthrowing the U.S. government, a claim that has been adamantly denied by Trump and his supporters.

Democrats have attempted to use the disqualification clause to take two other sitting federal lawmakers off the 2022 ballot for their pro-Trump activities. While the challenges to Rep. Jim Banks (R-Ind.) and Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-N.C.) have both failed, a ruling in the Cawthorn case is under appeal.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki on Friday snapped at a New York Post reporter for asking real questions about the Biden crime family.

The New York Post’s Steven Nelson asked Psaki a series of questions about ‘presidential conflicts of interest’ related to Hunter Biden’s payments from Russian oligarchs.

Psaki repeatedly interrupted the reporter and refused to answer any questions about the Biden crime family.

“The New York Times reported this week that the First Son [Hunter Biden] remains under criminal investigation. Does the president still intend to stay out of that case?” Nelson asked Psaki.

“Yes. It’s Department of Justice and I would point you to them,” Psaki replied.

The first question on the ‘presidential conflicts of interest’ was related to a $3.5 million payment Hunter Biden received from Yelena Baturina, the former mayor of Moscow’s wife – subsequent reporting revealed then-Vice President Joe Biden met with Yelena Baturina for dinner in 2015.

“How does Biden navigate conflicts of interest when sanctioning people?” the reporter asked pointing out that Yelena Baturina has not been sanctioned by the Biden Regime.

Here’s the answer: According to emails and documents, Yelena Baturina laundered funds into the US in avoidance of sanctions, Devon Archer claimed the firm received $200 million.

Psaki looked visibly irritated as she dodged the questions about Yelena Baturina.

The reporter had to fight to ask another question about Hunter Biden divesting from a Chinese investment fund because Psaki kept interrupting him.

“Last year [Hunter Biden’s] attorney said he divested from a Chinese investment fund controlled by Chinese state-owned entities. We have received not even basic transparency about who bought out his stake – when this happened and how much money changed hands. Did he actually divest and, if so, can you agree to basic transparency?” the reporter asked.

“He’s a private citizen. He doesn’t work for the government. I’d point you to his representatives,” Psaki replied.
