Democrats Reject Republican Attempts To Prevent Stimulus Checks From Going To Prisoners, Illegal Aliens
Senate Democrats blocked an amendment by Republicans on Saturday that would have stopped taxpayer-funded stimulus checks from going to illegal aliens and incarcerated criminals.
Republican Sens. Tom Cotton (AR), Ted Cruz (TX), and Bill Cassidy (LA) offered an amendment on the Senate floor to block prisoners from being able to receive stimulus checks, which was blocked in a 49-50 vote.
“The bill includes $1400 stimulus checks for individuals who make less than $75,000,” Fox News reported. “Inmates are included among those who receive stimulus checks, just as they were in both of the previous Covid relief bills that offered $1,200 and $600 checks.”
Cotton responded by highlighting some of the heinous criminals locked up in the U.S. justice system who will receive money in Biden’s stimulus deal.
“Dylann Roof murdered nine people. He’s on federal death row. He’ll be getting a $1,400 stimulus check as part of the Democrats’ ‘COVID relief’ bill,” Cotton tweeted. “Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, the Boston Bomber, murdered three people and terrorized a city. He’ll be getting a $1,400 stimulus check as part of the Democrats’ ‘COVID relief’ bill.”

President Joe Biden on Friday restored an Obama-era calculation on the economic cost of greenhouse gases, a step that will make it easier for his agencies to approve aggressive actions to confront climate change.
But the administration stopped short, for now, of boosting the cost figure to higher levels that economists and climate scientists say are justified by new research.
The interim figure — $51 for every ton of carbon released into the atmosphere — is well above the $8 cost used under former President Donald Trump, who declined to factor the global impacts of climate pollution into his calculation. Ballots In Arizona’s Maricopa County Found Shredded==and In Dumpster Days Before Senate Audit To Begin
Dumpsters full of shredded ballots were located today in Maricopa County Arizona. This occurs only days before the Senate’s audit of the county’s 2020 election results is due to start.
For months the Board of Supervisors in Maricopa County have blocked and delayed any independent audit performed by the Arizona Senate of the County’s results in the 2020 Presidential election. As we’ve reported previously, after being subpoenaed by the Arizona Senate and then suing the Senate to prevent a Senate audit of their 2020 election results, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MCBOS) agreed to have an audit if they could pick the auditors. The two firms they picked they claimed were the only two who were certified by the governmental body the US Election Assistance Commission (EAC). However, we found that these firms were not certified at the time they were selected by the MCBOS.
The MCBOS went ahead and hired the firms they wanted to perform their audit but the audits were never structured to find any suspected fraud in the county. The validity of the 2 million ballots in the county was never even considered in the programs reportedly used by these audit firms.
This is probably why these audits were set up the way they were (so no fraud would be identified). The auditors came to Phoenix and performed their work and some patriots found out that they could be observed on cameras in the facility where they were doing the work. These patriots watched and even sent a couple of individuals down to the center to check things out late one night. These individuals were greeted with a network that was labeled “f##k you”.
And as we reported, the audits were unprofessional in other areas as well.
This is when the Arizona Senate said enough and passed a bill that would grant the Arizona legislature the authority to subpoena election records like ballots and tabulating equipment and ignore any laws to the contrary.
The Senate is now in the process of selecting an auditor(s) to perform their audit. As the day for their audit approaches the heat must have gotten too hot for those guarding the ballots in Maricopa County.
Per our source on the ground in the County, yesterday an individual went by the Maricopa County Tabulation and election center and found doors wide open with seeming uninhibited access to the facility.
Today some other interested individuals in the county stopped by the same facility and found huge piles of ballots in the dumpster outside the facility.
Someone ordered the ballots be shredded.
This is not the first state where we found shredded ballots after the election. This also occurred in Georgia, another state where Biden won by a very slim margin.

This one gave me a good laugh tonight! Fox News continues to bleed ratings after their cheerleading for Biden especially on November 3rd 2020, and beyond. Fox Corp. CEO Lachlan Murdoch (who’s wife tweeted “we did it”) after Beijing Biden was anointed the winner of the 2020 election is claiming that Fox News will be be ‘loyal opposition’ to Biden. Radar has now learned that is was also around this time that Clinton’s “bagman” for close to two decades spoke with criminal investigators from the Southern District of New York.
This makes him the first Epstein/Maxwell associate who is known to have cooperated with authorities in the most recent probes into the accused pedophiles.
Band became fast friends with Epstein and Maxwell back in 2002, a time when he was at the height of his powers due to his role as the key architect of Clinton’s carrier post-White House.

The men did not stay on with Epstein as he then travelled to Brunei, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, and Dubai. Kellen and Maxwell again joined the men.
The most infamous of these trips however came in September of 2002, when Band joined Epstein and Clinton as they made their way through Africa.

Band, center, was once considered the top confidant of the Clintons.
Much has been made of the fact that Hollywood stars Kevin Spacey and Chris Tucker were also on that trip, but it is likely the four other guests who were of interest to federal prosecutors: Kellen, Cindy Lopez, Chauntae Davies, and Andrea Mitrovitch.

Davies, though not underage, was another of Epstein’s victims. She would eventually recruit her younger sister for the pedophile and grew close to Clinton on the trip as evidenced by a photo of her provicing the former leader of the free world with a shoulder massage during an airport layover.
Mitrovitch was a ballerina who was in her very early twenties, at the time. She too made a memorable impression on Band and his boss, as just a few years later she went on to work with her new friends at the Clinton Foundation.

Lopez was the youngest of the four women on the trip, and would become a fixture on Epstein’s flight manifests in the years after this trip.
Band has claimed that he spent years begging the Clintons to cut ties with Maxwell after Epstein’s arrest, but to no avail. He also has no issue cozying up to Maxwell at a party on Valentine’s Day 2007 in New York.

Hillary and Bill’s daughter, Chelsea, in particular, grew close to Maxwell, with Band noting: “Ghislaine had access to yachts and nice homes. Chelsea needed that.”

There were certainly plenty of opportunities for Band to speak with officials about Epstein in recent years. What's more, there is no love lost between the two men after their very acrimonious split back in 2015.
He met with former Secretary of state Mike Pompeo in September 2019 to discuss a possible post in President Donald Trump’s administration — and on July 11 of that same year registered as a foreign agent with the Justice Department — just days after Epstein’s arrest.

That registration was tied to his work in Saudi Arabia on Neom, the $500 billion effort to build a new city in that country that is being spearheaded by Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
That is the same country Epstein — the convicted sex offender and wealthy financier who was found dead in a Manhattan federal jail cell — was discovered to have entered multiple times using a fake passport.
It is unclear however if Band was being altruistic or if officials forced him to come in and speak with prosecutors. He was one of the 70 people named by Virginia Roberts in a 2016 court filing that named people who said had knowledge or might have knowledge of Epstein’s sex trafficking.

ATLANTA (AP) — A shooting on Interstate 85 in suburban Atlanta has claimed the life of a rising Texas rap artist, one of three interstate shootings in the metro area in two days, authorities said Saturday.
Rapper Corey Detiege, who performed under the stage name Chucky Trill, died at an area hospital after Friday's predawn shooting, police in suburban Gwinnett County said.
Police Cpl. Collin Flynn, a department spokesman, said someone pulled up beside Detiege's car and opened fire around 3 a.m. Friday, WSB TV reported. Ditiege, 33, was from Sugar Land, Texas.
Flynn said the suspect fled and a motive in the slaying was unknown. Police gave no immediate description of the suspect's vehicle and have made no arrest.
On Saturday, a man was grazed by a bullet on I-285 in DeKalb County when another driver pulled alongside him and opened fire, DeKalb police spokeswoman Officer Elise Wells said.

'Let kids be kids': California considers bill requiring gender-neutral children's sections at large retailers
Retail stores in California may be required to become more gender-neutral under proposed legislation.
State lawmakers are debating a new bill that would prohibit department stores with more than 500 employees from dividing products for children by gender.
The restriction would ban separate areas and signage and mandate online retailers that have a physical location in the state use gender-neutral terms to label children's items in a section of their websites. It would apply to toys and other kids' items but not clothing at this time, the bill's co-author Assemblywoman Cristina Garcia told USA Today.
If passed, the bill will go into effect in Jan. 1, 2024, and comes with a fine of $1,000 for violations.
The proposal, introduced Feb. 18, follows a series of recent moves championed by LGBTQ advocates. Last month, Hasbro made its Potato Head brand gender-neutral and the Congress passed an expansion of the Equality Act with protections for the LGBTQ community.
To Garcia, the legislation is about "not limiting ourselves and our kids into certain boxes."
"It's really important that toys and kids' sections be neutral in order to give kids as many opportunities to flourish and develop and be creative," said Garcia, a Democrat who leads the California Legislative Women's Caucus. "We should allow our kids to explore and try different things and let them come to their own conclusion of how they will identify themselves."
Assemblyman Evan Low, another Democrat who first introduced a version of the California bill in 2020, said in a previous statement he was inspired by Britten, an 8-year-old child, to co-author the bill.
Britten, according to Low, asked, "Why should a store tell me what a girl’s shirt or toy is?"
"We need to let kids be kids," Low, who leads the California Legislative LGBT Caucus, said. "Her bill will help children express themselves freely and without bias."
"Clothing and toys sections of department stores that are separated along gender lines pigeonhole children," he added. "No child should feel stigmatized for wearing a dinosaur shirt or playing with a Barbie doll."
The previous version of the bill was pulled by Low so the Legislature could focus on its response to the then-new coronavirus, according to the Sacramento Bee.
Some retailers have already adopted gender-neutral measures at their stores.
In 2015, Target announced the removal of indicators of gender from some of its sections, such as kids' bedding and toys. Clothing brand Abercrombie & Fitch launched a gender-neutral kids collection in 2018.
Advocates for the LGBTQ community stressed such measures are necessary because it is important that people be themselves and their self-identification is respected.
"How people self-identify is important to how they live in the world," Alphonso David, president of the Human Rights Campaign, an LGBTQ advocacy and lobbying group, previously told USA TODAY.
David said progress has been made with recent pushes for inclusion.
"What we're seeing is a combination of increased awareness and mobilization by our communities all over the country," David said. "People understand that equality is a winning issue."
