This is longer and not the entire thing

3 of 3

On the day of 9/11, Bremer was interviewed by NBC News and stated that he believed Osama bin Laden was responsible and that possibly Iraq and Iran were involved too, and he called for the most severe military response possible. For unknown reasons, Google removed the interview video from its servers three times, and blocked it once. The trading of Treasury bonds just before 9/11 was also flagged as being suspicious. Reporters from The Wall street Journal wrote that the “U.S. Secret Service contacted a number of bond traders regarding large purchases of five-year Treasury notes before the attacks, according to people familiar with the probe. The investigators, acting on a tip from traders, are examining whether terrorists, or people affiliated with terrorist organizations, bought five-year notes, including a single $5 billion trade.” Some reports claimed that the 9/11 informed trades were such that millions of dollars were made, and some of that went unclaimed. Others suggested that the trades resulted in the winning of billions of dollars in profits. One such suggestion was made by the former German Minister of Technology, Andreas von Buelow, who said that the value of the informed trades was on the order of $15 billion.

The FBI Investigations-In May 2007, a 9/11 Commission document that summarized the FBI investigations into potential 9/11-related informed trading was declassified. This document was redacted to remove the names of two FBI agents from the New York office, and to remove the names of select suspects in the informed trading investigations. The names of other FBI agents and suspects were left in. Regardless, some information can be gleaned from the document to help reveal the trades and traders investigated.

On September 21, 2001, the SEC referred two specific transactions to the FBI for criminal investigation as potential informed trades. One of those trades was a September 6, 2001 purchase of 56,000 shares of a company called Stratesec, which in the few years before 9/11 was a security contractor for several of the facilities that were compromised on 9/11. These facilities included the WTC buildings, Dulles airport, where American Airlines Flight 77 took off, and also United Airlines, which owned two of the other three ill-fated planes. The affected 56,000 shares of Stratesec stock were purchased by a director of the company, Wirt D. Walker III, and his wife Sally Walker. This is clear from the memorandum generated to record the FBI summary of the trades investigated. The Stratesec stock that the Walkers purchased doubled in value in the one trading day between September 11th and when the stock market reopened on September 17th. The Commission memorandum suggests that the trade generated a profit of $50,000 for the Walkers. Unfortunately, the FBI did not interview either of the Walkers and they were both cleared of any wrongdoing because they were said to have “no ties to terrorism or other negative information.” However, Wirt Walker was connected to people who had connections to al Qaeda. For example, Stratesec director James Abrahamson was the business partner of Mansoor Ijaz, who claimed on several occasions to be able to contact Osama bin Laden. Additionally, Walker hired a number of Stratesec employees away from a subsidiary of The Carlyle Group called BDM International, which ran secret (black) projects for government agencies. The Carlyle Group was partly financed by members of the bin Laden family. Mr. Walker ran a number of suspicious companies that went bankrupt, including Stratesec, some of which were underwritten by a company run by a first cousin of former CIA director (and President) George H.W. Bush. Additionally, Walker was the child of a CIA employee and his first job was at an investment firm run by former US intelligence guru, James “Russ” Forgan, where he worked with another former CIA director, William Casey. Of course, Osama bin Laden had links to the CIA as well.

Another trade investigated by the FBI, on request from the SEC, focused on Amir Ibrahim Elgindy, an Egyptian-born, San Diego stock advisor who on the day before 9/11 had allegedly attempted to liquidate $300,000 in assets through his broker at Salomon Smith Barney.

Just like the Stock Act

A total farce

Bernard Madoff, the Mafia, and Naked Short Selling

Bernard L. Madoff was once the chairman of the NASDAQ stock exchange. He was one of the most important market makers on Wall Street. And he managed what was, by some estimates, the largest hedge fund on the planet.

Yes, Bernard Madoff was an impressive man. That much was clear even before we learned that his $50 billion Ponzi scheme may have been orchestrated in cahoots with the most powerful, sophisticated, and indiscriminately murderous organized crime syndicate the world has ever known.

Charles Gasparino (citing “speculation” from investigators) reported last week on CNBC that the Russian Mafia might have been partners in Madoff’s larcenous fund business. Or perhaps the Mob had an even greater interest in Madoff’s market making operation, as some of our sources have told us in recent weeks.

Either way, there is a certain cachet.

But it wasn’t just pierogies and pistol-packing wiseguys in purple suits. Mr. Madoff was also a dedicated public servant, volunteering countless hours at the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Indeed, Madoff seems to have helped write some of the SEC’s rules. For example, Madoff had a good deal of input an SEC rule that exempted market makers (i.e. Madoff) from various regulations governing short sellers (i.e. Madoff’s friends). Madoff’s rule ensured that market makers (Madoff) could, among other things, engage in so-called “naked short selling.” To sell “naked” is to sell stock that one does not actually possess. That is “phantom stock,” according to the SEC Chairman and many others. Sometimes, short sellers (who profit when shares lose value) offload massive amounts of phantom stock to drive down prices, destroy pubic companies, or even crash the market. That is why there used to be restrictions.

Madoff also obtained an exemption allowing market makers to sell short on a down tick, which made it easier for unscrupulous hedge funds to drive down stock prices. At any rate, I don’t think Madoff had an office at the SEC. He certainly was not employed there. But the SEC was glad to have Madoff write a rule exempting Madoff from the rules. The SEC was so thankful that it named one of its rules after the great man himself. The rule allowing market markers to sell on the downtick was called, “The Madoff Exception.”

After Madoff helped writet the rule, market makers (e.g., Madoff) proceeded to “rent” their exemptions to hedge funds (i.e. friends-of-Madoff). It remained against the law for hedge funds to sell phantom stock to manipulate the markets. It was also against the law for market makers to help hedge funds orchestrate such schemes. But under the Madoff regulatory regime, unscrupulous short sellers (i.e. friends-of-Madoff) could engage in this illegal activity so long as they did so with the illegal connivance of a law-breaking market maker (i.e. Madoff).

A few months ago, this naked short selling was implicated–by numerous academics, the U.S. Chamber of Chamber of Commerce, the Secretary of the Treasury, the CEOs of Wall Street’s biggest banks, respected law firms, John McCain, Hillary Clinton, and numerous congressmen – in the near total collapse of the American financial system. The SEC has not prosecuted anybody for this. After all, there is an “exception.”

It is unclear whether the SEC will continue to name this “exception” after a man who might have absconded with 50 billion dollars (a sum that exceeds the gross domestic product of Pakistan) in league with the Russian Mob, an organization that is said to be in the market for a nuclear bomb – in addition to narcotics, sex slaves and, yes, phantom stock.

In any case, the major news organizations seem to have lost interest.

Pentagon halting Guantanamo Bay COVID vaccine plan after backlash

"It's the most ludicrous thing I've ever heard," said one 9/11 hero of the plan.

The Pentagon announced on Saturday that it was temporarily halting a plan to vaccinate prisoners at the U.S. Military Base in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba after major backlash to the proposal.

The government had reportedly planned to offer the coronavirus vaccine to the prisoners in the coming weeks, allowing them to jump ahead of the vast majority of Americans who have not yet received the medicine.

The plan was blasted by numerous commentators, including Americans associated with relief efforts during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, such as former New York City Fire Commissioner Tom Van Essen, who in the New York Post called the Pentagon's decision "theater of the absurd."

"It's the most ludicrous thing I've ever heard," former Ground Zero demolition supervisor John Feal told the paper.

Under the initial plan, the prisoners, had they accepted the vaccine, would have moved ahead of the tens of millions of Americans who have not yet received it. A little less than 30 million of the shots have already been distributed throughout the U.S.

Among the prisoners in Guantanamo include former high-ranking Al Qaeda official Khalid Sheikh Mohammed and alleged September 11 facilitator Ramzi bin al-Shibh.

Found out what happened to other ELK owners. I’m getting the impression this was NOT amicable. Husband/wife team founded it and named it after their initials but then, all of a sudden they decide it’stoo successful and needs to be managed by Delongchamp...yet they can’t be reached for comment. Meanwhile, about 20 other people are listed as shareholders on public records and Delongchamp is questioned about it - he says “I’m the sole owner.” Kinda weird and I don’t think this was a happy transaction.

Despite explanation for election night glitches, calls persist for Wayne County primary audit

Aug 14, 2018

The Grand Rapids-based company ElectionSource runs the site that reports Wayne County’s election results. As vote totals started coming in last Tuesday, the site initially reported the results of some races wrong before shutting the site down altogether for a few hours.

ElectionSource CEO Ryan DeLongchamp told the board that was the result of an “internal error” caused by larger-than-expected data files from the county.

Those files contained “a record-breaking amount of data we’d never seen before,” DeLongchamp said, causing the website to start “going so slow it combined data.” That, combined with a deluge of web traffic, caused things to go so haywire that the company temporarily shut the site down at the Wayne County clerk’s request.

DeLongchamp said the company was at fault for the problems. He said the website glitches reflected technical problems that were “totally separate” from the vote-counting process, and did not reflect tabulation actual vote tabulation errors or any third-party interference.

Detroit clerk [Janice Winfrey] addresses troubled election; state audit shows no proof of voter fraud

Many of the reported problems with jammed vote tabulators in Detroit on election were likely due to people not correctly inserting ballots into the optical scanners. He says that likely accounts for a number of apparent “ghost votes” that raised the specter of fraud.

“What that meant was, if a voter held onto their ballot while the machine tried to tug it in and it didn’t receive it, that public counter would go up one increment,” Baxter said.

Bill Gates Aghast Over 'Crazy And Evil Conspiracy Theories' About He And Fauci, Hints At Social Media Censorship

by Tyler Durden - Saturday, Jan 30, 2021 - 19:30

Bill Gates is apparently shocked over 'crazy and evil conspiracy theories' which claim that he and Dr. Anthony Fauci are participating in a nefarious scheme to push vaccines, profit from the pandemic, and reduce the population.

In Wednesday comments to Reuters, Gates said that there are "millions of messages out there" targeting he and Fauci, and suggested that "social media companies" might be able to censor discussion on the topic.

"Nobody would have predicted that I and Dr. Fauci would be so prominent in really kind of evil theories about – did we create the pandemic, are we trying to profit from it? – and on and on," said Gates, adding "We're going to have to get educated about this over the next year and understand, how does it change people's behavior?"

"How should we have minimized this, either working with the social media companies or explaining what we were up to in a better way?"

Gates' motives have come under fire over his foundation's 2019 participation in "Event 201" - a collaboration between the Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security, the World Economic Forum and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation which simulated a global pandemic after a fictional coronavirus broke out among pigs in Brazil, before spreading to farmers. In the simulation, the virus infected the globe within six months, and killed 65 million people, triggering a global financial crisis. All of this took place just months before COVID-19 emerged.

In an April 2020 interview, Gates told the BBC: "Now here we are. We didn’t simulate this, we didn’t practice, so both the health policies and economic policies, we find ourselves in uncharted territory."

In April 2018, Gates told the Massachusetts Medical Society that "millions could die" if the United States doesn't prepare for a coming pandemic. Specifically, Gates said the U.S. government is falling short in preparing the nation and the world for the "significant probability of a large and lethal modern-day pandemic occurring in our lifetimes."

In 2017, Gates told the Munich Security Conference that world leaders should "imagine that somewhere in the world a new weapon exists or could emerge that is capable of killing millions of people, bringing economies to a standstill, and casting nations into chaos. If it were a military weapon, the response would be to do everything possible to develop countermeasures," adding that a "sense of urgency is lacking" over biological threats.

And according to Robert F. Kennedy, Gates was involved in a Polio immunization program in India which paralyzed 490,000 children.

Promising his share of $450 million of $1.2 billion to eradicate Polio, Gates took control of India’s National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization (NTAGI) which mandated up to 50 doses (Table 1) of polio vaccines through overlapping immunization programs to children before the age of five. Indian doctors blame the Gates campaign for a devastating non-polio acute flaccid paralysis (NPAFP) epidemic that paralyzed 490,000 children beyond expected rates between 2000 and 2017. In 2017, the Indian government dialed back Gates’ vaccine regimen and asked Gates and his vaccine policies to leave India. NPAFP rates dropped precipitously.

In 2017, the World Health Organization (WHO) reluctantly admitted that the global explosion in polio is predominantly vaccine strain. The most frightening epidemics in Congo, Afghanistan, and the Philippines, are all linked to vaccines. In fact, by 2018, 70% of global polio cases were vaccine strain.

India barred the Gates Foundation from funding part of its immunization program, citing concerns over 'non-governmental organizations' asserting control over decision making in key policy areas.

Gates has also opined on the need to control population growth - for which a plethora of theories exist involving vaccines. In 2012, Gates said: "The problem is that the population is growing the fastest where people are less able to deal with it. So it’s in the very poorest places that you’re going to have a tripling in population by 2050. (…) And we’ve got to make sure that we help out with the tools now so that they don’t have an impossible situation later."

So, in case Gates is wondering just why people are skeptical over his push to vaccinate the world and take a key outside role in advising the Biden administration's COVID-19 response, the above evidence may offer some clues.

Sidney and others pointed to all kinds of the election fuckery that would make it easy for the general public to see the foreign interference in elections, espec. using what they already know about parallels between past-day Venezuela and present-day US.

But from what i could see when i dug, all these companies - ESS, ClearVote and the rest - are probably dirty (very). Because there are really very few of them and they all know one another and have business relationships. The question is

- to what extent

- in what fashion

- who are the puppeteers

Lin Wood, [30.01.21 21:54]

[Forwarded from Narrative Reframes]

Understand that Main Stream Media is OWNED - the Press has been leveraged to perpetuate a manipulative narrative to keep We The People in the dark and psychologically placated for a century. They will never “connect the dots” for you with the facts or the truth.

This is the brilliance of a PsyOp named Q. The gradual wake from sleep, a cognitive re-introduction to the truth, and a choice of where you stand when the lies no longer hold psychological power over you.

Q was call to action of We The People - not one of violence of action, we have a dedicated fighting force that’s constitutionally sanctioned for that, and their leadership’s commissioned oath is to “support and defend the CONSTITUTION of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic.” Not Congress. Not corporate CEOs. Not the President... the Constitution.

But your call to action is to WAKE UP from the narrative that’s being shoved down your throat by the corrupt Press, MSM, corporate leadership and silver-tongued politicians. Wake up to your Constitutional sovereignty, because they are only Public servants.

Your call to action is to take it upon yourself to self-educate, and understand your Constitutional rights, the true principles of Economics and government financial data, Civics, and the historical ideology of Liberty instead of the watered down collectivist ideology of “social justice & environmental action” overly perpetuated by our castrated and manipulative public education policies.

Your call to action is to form trusted, Patriotic communities who protect each other, live by the Constitution, relentlessly seek the truth, and work together to solve local, State, and National problems. It’s about unity and resilience TOGETHER in the months ahead.

Because believe me when I say, the resilient future of America, and the industrial revolution of our future - one that’s not bound to the corrupt Petrodollar and iterative Wars of the Steel Cycle, is absolutely worth every inconvenience that the corrupt pretenders in our government may force upon us in the coming months.

They’re literally willing to go to the extremes of labeling Anons and Q as “Domestic Terrorists” to stop a Constitutional movement. How desperate is that?

The reality? At most we’ve seen a few Patriots wrongfully arrested, but released and inconvenienced by legal proceedings. That’s it.

They’re hyping a narrative. You are not facing stazi-level abuse. No FBI agent is kicking down a door and shooting anyone in the head unless you go vertical, get violent, unlawful, and give them a reason to.

Remember that - all they have is their narrative war and propaganda. They want to scare you into giving up. And they’re going to extremes on TV and on the Web to do it.

What that says to me is that they’re threatened by the populations around the world getting involved and disrupting their global economic power schemes. And rightly so. There’s way more of us than them.

In America: 616,000 : 1 by the way.

We The People outnumber Public officials 616,000 to 1.

- Bobby Piton

So don’t forget that. Freedom isn’t free, but it’s worth sacrificing some convenience for, unifying under the Constitution despite our differences for, and working really damn hard for. 🇺🇸

Only You Can Beat Big Tech Censorship

by Tom Luongo Gold, Goats, 'n Guns Blog

Saturday January 30, 2021 - 23:00

This article originally appeared at Daily Libery News

When Facebook censors Ron Paul, or Twitter bans President Trump, is that censorship?

Or because these are private companies, does that automatically make it NOT censorship?

Amazon banned Parler, but is it their right as a private company to choose their customers?

That’s the crux of the issue I need to address with you in today’s post-Trump world of social media.

Because make no mistake “Big Tech” repression is a foundational problem facing any society that considers itself even somewhat free. In the wake of the allowed ‘assault on the Capitol’ and the confirmation of Joe Biden as the 46th president of the U.S., the big tech firms which control access to speech went ballistic.

Conservatives along with President Trump himself were wiped from the public square. Any mention of the election being stolen or open support on Twitter of Trump himself was flushed down the memory hole.

This is censorship of the highest order by these firms to put parameters around political speech in the U.S. where such a right is enshrined in the Constitution. None of it is constitutional.

But the problem is far deeper than that. The deplatforming of Parler, one alternative social media platform to Twitter, via corporate collusion by Apple, Google and Amazon was something far more sinister than Twitter silencing the sitting president of the U.S.

This was a blatant hit job by companies stifling competition in the public square for hosting material which is constitutionally protected as ‘free speech.’

But these firms, especially Amazon, who terminated Parler’s server hosting agreement with 24 hours’ notice, lazily applied their vague and ever-changing ‘Terms of Service” to single out Parler and hide behind their status as a private company.

The worst part about this is that libertarians see this as a rational and defensible free market action. And for years adolescent libertarian arguments about corporations being private actors preferable to governments have now been turned around by authoritarians who hang us with our own words.

And we wonder why conservatives look at us like we have four-heads when we make such arguments?

When this attack on free speech began, during the 2016 presidential campaign with the first deplatforming of alt-right provocateurs like Richard Spencer and Andrew Anglin of the Daily Stormer website, it was obvious then that these were dry runs for the mass action we’re seeing today, in the name of creating an information-free literal one-party police state.

It was this that prompted former Silicon Valley programmer Andrew Torba to start Gab. Crazed liberals then said, “If you don’t like Twitter, leave and build your own.”

So, he did. And after the attack on the Pittsburgh Synagogue in 2018, Gab was given the even worse treatment than Parler got last week.

They survived that.

All the while myself and people like Torba were screaming about the duopoly controlling the on-ramp to the mobile web, and no one cared. But we could see this day coming.

And now it’s here.

But this is most certainly not a private property issue as much as it is a contract law issue allowed to fester because of government interference into the marketplace for communications.

Government interference altered the landscape these companies operate in. The grew to the size they are now because of government largesse and federal and state tax revenue into the networks and systems they depend on.

It doesn’t matter that the duopoly is Google and Apple. It could have been Palm and Microsoft. Or Blackberry and IBM. What matters is that the environment wasn’t a level playing field between the companies and the people using the services.

They were paying not only for access but at the same time subsidizing the revenue streams by accepting costs these companies outsourced to government.

It is a cozy arrangement.

The companies outsource their fixed costs and the government outsources their censorship desires that pesky First Amendment forbids them from doing directly.

No wonder the response to the allowed assault on the Capitol was so swift and coordinated.

Think it through folks.

Amazon’s AWS doesn’t become a dominant player without those vaunted contracts with the CIA. Parler, at a minimum should have an expectation of service per any legal contractual arrangement, and as such is due damages from Amazon for unilaterally breaching that basic trust.

Facebook doesn’t grow to become the monster it is without strategic investments by quasi-governmental companies like Goldman-Sachs and Morgan Stanley.

Google doesn’t become the ad revenue generating machine if it had had to properly pay its bandwidth costs for the content they forced on us.

Trump nixing ‘Net Neutrality’ put some of that onus back on them, giving ISP’s some latitude to price usage according to their needs rather than Google’s.

All of the above companies, including Microsoft, have been chosen by our government to succeed in this tilted marketplace.

Apple doesn’t dominate the mobile internet in the U.S. without all those user fees and taxes tacked onto the cost of your monthly cellphone bill.

If these companies were operating on their own private satellite and wire networks then they would absolutely be in the right, via the application of private property rights, to set whatever terms of service they wanted.

I, as a libertarian, fully support that.

And also, as a libertarian, understand that public property always creates a tragedy of the commons scenario.

But when you operate in the public sphere, when you move your goods and services on the digital equivalent of the public road system (not a digression I want to get into today) and your corporate charter exists within the framework of U.S. and state contract law it is clear that these companies are neither wholly private entities with respect to their customers nor neutral actors trying to enforce public decency standards.

They are acting in their best interest to stifle competition – Gab, Parler, Minds, etc. – while setting precedents to allow for even further restrictions of speech through lawfare thanks to a complicit and fully cowed legal system.

And herein lies the smart path to reining them in, if it is at all possible at this point, since it’s clear the Biden Administration is ready to reframe all speech critical of the U.S. government as ‘domestic terrorism’ giving all of these companies the legal justification into the future to unperson all dissent.

Removing their Section 230 immunity under the Communications Decency Act is paramount. It will not happen now. The government is in on the grift, folks, so looking ahead to the 2022 election cycle isn’t an option.

They just proved to you your vote doesn’t count, so it means hitting them in the only place they truly care about, their bottom lines.

So, the first thing to do is sue them into the ground. It will be up to the people themselves to hound these companies through both contract law violations and shareholder revolts because they have done irreparable damage to their brands and their future revenue streams.

That is what has to happen right now. Parler’s suit against Amazon is a good start. A class-action lawsuit by every small business in America now wondering about Amazon’s policies should end this nonsense quickly.

A good judge in a sympathetic jurisdiction should side with anyone making a strong case that modern tech company Terms of Service are ‘contracts of adhesion,’ defined as contracts entered into where one party is so much stronger than the other the weaker party is, in effect, coerced into signing it.

__'The second thing to do is to simply jack-out. Put the screen down. Stop using it as a substitution for real communications and pull back from the brink.

De-google your life, as I have. Close your Facebook account permanently. You will feel better immediately, trust me. I did this two years ago, to the detriment of the marketing efforts of my business, and I have never looked back.'__

If you need a social network, use Twitter for keeping tabs on things but save your thoughts and your content for Gab or some other, smaller private community you are a part of.

Being a global citizen is a canard they sold us as some true net positive. But it was something designed wholly to drive us mad and deracinate us to the point of having no home, no culture and no real friends.

It’s no wonder they are trying so hard to shut off the escape routes and only allow certain platforms to exist forcing us to interact with people we don’t like while locked in our homes over a wholly contrived public health emergency.

It was always part of the globalist plan.

Ending this starts with the very libertarian idea of simply opting-out. We don’t need to be plugged into their reality-generating nightmares every moment of every day.

But the thing about the web is that it is built on protocols which are themselves censorship resistant. So, the tyrants of today will be the footnotes of tomorrow. We’ve seen early attempts at censorship-proof blockchain platforms like Steemit. It’s still running even though its growing pains nearly killed it.

The next great service is just around the corner because necessity is the mother of innovation. But the first step is accepting the fact that they’ve won this round and it is now time to change the rules of the game.

P.S.: If you want to see what this looks like, just look at what the guys at Wall Street Bets are doing to the capital markets today. Brokerage outages, trading suspended, newly-minted millionaires.

All because a bunch of hedgies got over-confident of their one-way skimming and thinking no one would press their luck to the breaking point.

They have and it is glorious.

You beat them by turning their supposed advantages and bought-and-paid-for rules of the game back on them.

Sidney Powell:We have an important case in Michigan begun by Matt Deperno

Please know that we are still working on multiple fronts at www.DefendingTheRepublic.org

We have an important case in Michigan begun by Matt Deperno, our lawyers are working on the issues in Arizona, and we are still active in Georgia where there is an important case. We will not give up. There was massive fraud in this election on many fronts, and we will continue to work to expose it all. We are working on additional cases too as more evidence comes to our attention.

We must deal with the reality we face. It is up to #WeThePeople to #DefendTheRepublic and #RestoreTheRepublic. Our work has barely begun. Sidney

Sidney Powell:We have an important case in Michigan begun by Matt Deperno

We conclude that the Dominion Voting System is intentionally and purposefully designed with inherent errors to create systemic fraud and influence election results. The system intentionally generates an enormously high number of ballot errors. The electronic ballots are then transferred for adjudication. The intentional errors lead to bulk adjudication of ballots with no oversight, no transparency, and no audit trail. This leads to voter or election fraud. Based on our study, we conclude that The Dominion Voting System should not be used in Michigan. We further conclude that the results of Antrim County should not have been certified.

Beautiful explanation of the Q movement. And a 'heads up' to us right now - about our purpose at a time when Q has gone 'dark.'

Narrative Reframes was started only a few days ago on telegram - lots of good material there about Narrative Warfare on psychological conditioning on a large scale.

Worth a read.

TechnoFog on Judge Boasberg's sentencing of Kevin Clinesmith

The sentencing hearing of Kevin Clinesmith, the former FBI lawyer who pleaded guilty to altering a CIA e-mail to further the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant renewal on Carter Page, took place on the morning of Friday, January 21 before Judge Boasberg in Washington, D.C.

This hearing was the culmination of an investigation by those within the Department of Justice who actually sought to do justice in exposing the FBI’s misconduct in opening Crossfire Hurricane, and the FBI’s abuse of their power to spy on Carter Page and those associated with the Trump campaign. While the process continues with Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation, this was one loose end that was ready to be tied.

Those demanding Clinesmith to be incarcerated weren’t being unreasonable, though they were ultimately disappointed when Judge Boasberg sentenced Clinesmith to 12 months probation and no prison time. In fact, they have every right to be angry.

AZ Senate not ok w/Maricopa Co audit proposal; ops for forensic audit focused on the actual ballots

By Joe Hoft, January 30, 2021

It was reported yesterday that the Arizona Senate has requested an audit of the Maricopa County 2020 election results and will select the auditor themselves.

You can’t blame them. The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MCBOS), who oversee the election process in the county, is doing all they can to prevent a valid audit from being performed in the county.

A month ago the Arizona Senate voted to have the audit performed and the MCBOS sued them to stop the audit. Then once the inauguration occurred the MCBOS agreed to have their results audited but they would select the auditors. This was so the MCBOS could choose an auditor who would rubber stamp their results. The MCBOS even stated they would only use EAC certified auditors which limited the population of auditors to the two firms of their liking but then we pointed out that these firms weren’t currently certified.

So yesterday the Arizona Senate decided to stop playing games and they decided they would choose the auditor to dig into Maricopa County results themselves.

The Senate is doing the right thing. We knew the results of the 2020 election were fraudulent early on. We studied the results and performed our own analytics, and even at a high level we were able to prove the election was stolen by Joe Biden:

MCBOS is doing neither. They are bringing in a couple of very small firms who will look at the machines and describe their characteristics and then sample a couple operations and state that the machines are doing what they are intended to do. We know this because the reports from their work are available online.

The Arizona Senate wants something more. They would like to have a forensic audit of the machines and also then review the results of the election by looking into the end results – the ballots....

COVID hospitalizations continue plunge, reach near-two-month low

COVID-19 hospitalizations throughout the U.S. have continued to fall sharply, maintaining a three-week downward trend that has placed the total number of patients hospitalized with the virus roughly where it was at the beginning of December.

As of Friday, states reported almost exactly 101,000 individuals hospitalized with a positive COVID-19 test, according to the COVID Tracking Project. The last time levels were that low was Dec. 2.

Malaysia: Investors Attempt to Drive Up Price of Glove-Maker Stocks, Inspired by GameStop

Malaysian retail investors rallied on social media to drive up stocks of Malaysian rubber glove manufacturers on Friday, in a move modeled on the GameStop trading surge witnessed in the U.S. this week.

Shares of the U.S. video game store GameStop skyrocketed from less than $20 to a peak of $492 this week after millions of amateur investors organized around the online forum Reddit to collectively send prices of the shares soaring, punishing major investors who were short-selling the store’s shares, or betting on the stock’s fall.

Short-selling occurs when an investor borrows a stock, sells it on the open market, and then buys it back to return it to a lender at a lower price, earning a profit on the difference. Short-sellers are betting that the price of the stock they sell will decrease. If a stock’s price increases unexpectedly, however, the investor is then forced to buy back the shares at a higher price, meaning a loss.

Inspired by the strategic popular action behind the GameStop share surge this week, which centered around a Reddit forum called “r/wallstreetbets,” amateur Malaysian investors on Thursday set up their own Reddit group, naming it “BursaBets” after Malaysia’s stock exchange.

A moderator of the BursaBets subreddit known as “Mod Revenant” told news site Coconuts Kuala Lumpur on Friday that he and his eight fellow moderators believe that the current value of glove industry shares in Malaysia, preyed upon by the same kind of short-selling that bet against GameStop, are too low.

“In my perspective, there is no justifying the currently low prices of our glove shares,” the moderator, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said. “If you showed this stock to anyone, they’ll understand how under-valued it is.”

Mod Revenant added that he thinks Malaysia’s stock market is “constantly being manipulated by larger financial entities.”

BursaBets members such as “Glovefan1205” are using the thread to organize “buying and holding shares from industry players such as Malaysia’s largest glove manufacturer, Top Glove,” according to Coconuts Kuala Lumpur.

“A day after Bursabets was formed and drew 6,400 members, shares of local glove-making companies rose 3 percent to 9 percent, with Top Glove leading the rise. After closing at RM6.21 (US$1.53) yesterday, Top Glove shares opened at RM7.05 [$1.74] this morning on the Bursa Malaysia stock market,” the news site reported on January 29.

Malaysia’s securities regulator and stock exchange, Bursa Malaysia, released a joint statement on Friday saying they were “closely monitoring” domestic trading after witnessing a recent rally in some U.S. stocks.

“Where warranted, the SC (Securities Commission) and Bursa Malaysia will take the necessary measures to curb disruptive trading practices and market abuse,” their statement read.

“Investors should be wary of discussions in social media chatrooms that may trigger securities breaches such as the provisions on investment advice or stock recommendations without a license,” the statement cautioned.

“Any person found guilty may be liable to a penalty of up to 10 million ringgit [about $2.5 million] or imprisonment not exceeding ten years or both,” Malaysia’s securities regulator warned.

21 Men Accuse Lincoln Project Co-Founder of Online Harassment

John Weaver, a longtime G.O.P. operative who advised John McCain and John Kasich, made sexual overtures to young men, sometimes offering to help them get work in politics.

John Weaver, a longtime Republican strategist and co-founder of the prominent anti-Trump group the Lincoln Project, has for years sent unsolicited and sexually provocative messages online to young men, often while suggesting he could help them get work in politics, according to interviews with 21 men who received them.

His solicitations included sending messages to a 14-year-old, asking questions about his body while he was still in high school and then more pointed ones after he turned 18.

These messages from Mr. Weaver, 61, who helped run John McCain’s presidential campaigns in 2000 and 2008 and John Kasich’s in 2016, did not lead to physical encounters except in one consensual case, and none of the men accused Mr. Weaver of unlawful conduct. Rather, many of them described feeling preyed upon by an influential older man in the field in which they wanted to work, and believing they had to engage with his repeated messaging or lose a professional opportunity.

Mr. Weaver sent overt sexual solicitations to at least 10 of the men and, in the most explicit messages, offered professional and personal assistance in exchange for sex. He told one man he would “spoil you when we see each other,” according to a message reviewed by The New York Times. “Help you other times. Give advice, counsel, help with bills. You help me … sensually.”

Lincoln Project leaders, in their first extended comments about Mr. Weaver, said they had not been aware of such allegations until this month, when a magazine article and an open letter on Twitter from a data analyst named Garrett Herrin accused Mr. Weaver of grooming young men online.

Steve Schmidt, a co-founder of the group, said its leaders had learned last summer from social media posts that Mr. Weaver, who has a wife and two children, might be involved in relationships with men, but emphasized, “There was no awareness or insinuations of any type of inappropriate behavior when we became aware of the chatter at the time.” Mr. Weaver denied the claims, Mr. Schmidt said.

In mid-January, after the allegations gained public attention, Mr. Weaver issued a statement acknowledging he had sent “inappropriate” messages and apologizing “to the men I made uncomfortable,” while saying he had believed all of his interactions to be consensual. He said he would not return to the Lincoln Project from a medical leave that began in the summer.

Interviews with the 21 young men, as well as a review of screenshots of dozens of messages he sent them over the last five years, show that his online behavior was in many cases aggressive and unwanted.

Cole Trickle Miele was 14 when he followed Mr. Weaver on Twitter in 2015 and quickly received a direct message from him. At first, he did not think anything was amiss.

“I remember being a 14-year-old kid interested in politics and being semi-starstruck by John Weaver engaging in a conversation with me,” said Mr. Trickle Miele, now 19. At the time, he supported the Republican Party and was a fan of Mr. Kasich, the Ohio governor whom Mr. Weaver was helping prepare to join the presidential race.

But as the messages kept coming, he became uncomfortable.

In June 2018, Mr. Weaver asked, “Are you in HS still?” — referring to high school — and Mr. Trickle Miele said that he was, and that he would be 18 the next spring. “You look older,” Mr. Weaver replied. “You’ve gotten taller.”

In March 2020, when Mr. Trickle Miele was 18, Mr. Weaver wrote, “I want to come to Vegas and take you to dinner and drinks and spoil you!!,” and in a follow-up message used a term that in sexual banter refers to one’s body: “Hey my boy! resend me your stats! or I can guess! if that is easier or more fun!”

Mr. Weaver, in response to questions about specific allegations, reiterated his statement from earlier this month and said: “I am so disheartened and sad that I may have brought discomfort to anyone in what I thought at the time were mutually consensual discussions. In living a deeply closeted life, I allowed my pain to cause pain for others. For that I am truly sorry to these men and everyone and for letting so many people down.”

Mr. Weaver was one of a handful of veteran Republican operatives who formed the Lincoln Project because, they said, they considered Mr. Trump a danger to the country. With mocking ads that often went viral, the group became a highly visible opponent to the Trump presidency.

Mr. Schmidt said in an interview that the Lincoln Project did not have an office when Mr. Weaver was involved, so the founders and staff were not together. He said the group was “outraged and horrified” to learn of Mr. Weaver’s behavior.

Last year, when Cody Bralts was a recent college graduate looking for a job in politics, he replied to one of Mr. Weaver’s tweets and, to his surprise, received a direct message from him. After Mr. Weaver said he traveled to Chicago sometimes, they discussed meeting to talk politics; at one point Mr. Weaver asked what Mr. Bralts did in his free time.

When Mr. Bralts said he ran marathons, Mr. Weaver replied, “At least I know that whatever we end up doing, you could do it multiple times in a row,” with a winking emoticon.

“It just seemed like he was exploiting his power,” Mr. Bralts said. “He was someone very important and high up in a field I want to go into.”

Kyle Allen, 23, said that from 2016 to 2018, Mr. Weaver asked about his height, weight, what he was wearing and whether he was circumcised. He also pushed repeatedly for an invitation to speak at the University of Ottawa, where Mr. Allen was studying, using sexually explicit language to express his eagerness to visit.

“I would try to veer the conversations toward politics, and he would always find a way to bring it back to sexual stuff,” Mr. Allen said.

In at least two cases, Mr. Weaver offered young men work with the Lincoln Project while sending suggestive messages.

One of those men, Anthony Covell, 22, said Mr. Weaver had begun messaging him in July 2019. That exchange petered out, but on Dec. 3, 2019 — two weeks before the Lincoln Project was publicly announced — Mr. Weaver invited him to join the new initiative.

“He said he was looking for young people who were creative and invested in this upcoming election,” Mr. Covell said, adding, “I was obviously interested.”

Mr. Weaver suggested that Mr. Covell “post a thirst trap” or “send me a pic,” then asked him to call for more details on the project.

“Something inside me was saying, ‘No, don’t do this, he seems kind of sketchy,’” Mr. Covell said.

He decided not to call.

A few years ago, I was involved in a project to introduce a bill into Congress to require the Federal Reserve to return to the monetary principle that made America great – a dollar linked to gold. One of the difficulties we ran into was the actual details of the bill itself. In practical terms, what would such a thing look like?

In 1984, the extraordinary congressman Jack Kemp introduced the Gold Standard Act of 1984. It had seven co-sponsors, including Newt Gingrich (R-GA).

Lincoln Project Co-Founder John Weaver's secual abuse and harassment of minors - Everyone knew

Ryan James Girdusky

@RyanGirdusky

I'll tell you how much of an open secret John Weaver was... when I started putting together the story on Weaver I called a journalist friend of mine who's done stories on sexual abuse before. I was looking for advice about how to approach a victim of sexual harassment

The friend asked if i was reaching out to men or women and when I said young men who were sexually harassed by a well known political consultant he said, "oh you must be talking about John Weaver"

It was a total open secret that apparently everyone knew

One of the most extraordinary things was how much of an open secret this was among the men Weaver commonly targeted — young, gay men interested in politics. Three men told me they'd described the harassment to a friend and the friend guessed it was Weaver.

Melvin Capital ends month with over $8 billion in assets after investors added cash

Melvin Capital, the hedge fund at the center of the GameStop drama, lost 53% in January but received commitments for fresh cash from investors in the last days of the month, a source familiar with the fund said on Sunday. Melvin ended January with more than $8 billion in assets after having started the year with roughly $12.5 billion in assets, the source said.

The firm, founded in 2014 by Gabe Plotkin, had bet that ailing video game retailer GameStop’s stock, which traded at less than $5 five months ago, would fall. But a wave of retail investors, comparing notes on social media platform Reddit and using online trading app Robinhood, took the other side of Plotkin’s trade to send the stock up 1,625% this month to close at $325 on Friday. Hedge funds Point72 Asset Management and Citadel gave a $2.75 billion capital infusion to Melvin Capital earlier in the week, enabling it to close out that position with a large loss.

“The fund’s portfolio liquidity is strong. Use of leverage is at the lowest level since Melvin Capital’s inception in 2014,” the source said.

Citadel lost less than 1% on its Melvin position in its flagship fund in January, a person familiar with the matter said on Sunday.

As news of losses at many hedge funds spread in recent days, speculation mounted about which firms might be forced to shut their doors. Several investors and fund managers said clients have been more patient with certain firms that have a long and strong track record, likely allowing them to survive this month’s deep losses.
