Covid-19: As Lab Execs Sell Shares Worth Millions, Questions Arise

Pfizer, Moderna, Novavax: executives at several American laboratories developing Covid-19 vaccines have recently pocketed millions of dollars by selling shares in their companies – raising questions about the propriety of such a move in the midst of a national health crisis.

On the very day that pharmaceutical giant Pfizer announced preliminary data showing its vaccine was 90 percent effective against the coronavirus, its chief executive Albert Bourla sold shares worth $5.6 million.

There was nothing illegal about this, Pfizer said: the sale took place according to rules allowing company heads to sell shares under predetermined criteria, at a date or for a price set in advance, to avoid any suspicion of insider training.

Under the same rules, several Moderna officials have sold shares worth more than $100 million in recent months.

That company has not placed a single product on the market since its creation in 2010, but the federal government has committed to paying it up to $2.5 billion if its vaccine proves effective.

Moderna shares have soared from $19 at the beginning of the year to a current level of $90.

The boss of Novavax, for his part, sold $4.2 million in shares on August 18, just over a month after the announcement it would receive public financing of $1.6 billion.

Accountable US, a nonpartisan taxpayers' advocacy group, has calculated that from the start of the federally coordinated effort to develop vaccines on May 15 until August 31, officials at five pharmaceutical companies made more than $145 million by selling shares.

Russian Advanced Electronic Warfare System Spotted In Karabakh

Russia has deployed the advanced RB-341V “Leer-3” electronic warfare system in the disputed region of Nagorno-Karabakh.

The system, that is based on KamAZ-5350 6×6 trucks, was spotted with Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh in a video that was shared by Global News on November 14.

Leer-3 was developed by the St Petersburg-based LLC Special Technology Center, a subsidiary of the KRET Concern. The system, which was first presented in 2015, was designed to monitor and attack GSM communications.

Each Leer-3 system relays on one or two Orlan-10 drones carrying electronic warfare payloads. The drone can stay in the air for 16 hours and has an operation range of 140 km.

The electronic warfare system can:

Suppress mobile communications;

Simulate a cellular station in the GSM 900 and GSM 1800 bands ranges and send false signals;

Conduct reconnaissance by determining the points of radiation of devices in GSM networks;

Detect subscriber points, including mobile phones, tablets and other communication systems;

Locate subscriber points on a digital map;

Transmit the coordinates of subscriber points to artillery crews;

Observe the situation on the battlefield and the movement of troops from air;

Assess the state of ground and naval facilities;

Survey the field.

The Leer-3 system was deployed in Syria, where it provided electronic warfare capabilities for Syrian and Russian forces combating terrorist groups.

The system will allow Russian peacekeepers in Nagorno-Karabakh to monitor the implementation of the November 9 peace deal between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

Russia is planning to deploy 1,960 troops, 90 armored personnel carriers, 380 vehicles and special equipment units in Nagorno-Karabakh.

Civil War In Ethiopia: Conflict Developments And Background

The armed clashes that broke out on Wednesday November 4 between the Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF) and Federal Government forces in the Tigray region of northern Ethiopia have spread and intensified. Ethiopia’s prime minister remains confident that the military operation (which he insists on calling a ‘law enforcement operation’) will be successfully concluded in short order and has rebuffed all suggestions for negotiations and offers of international mediation. However, the TPLF could prove to be a very formidable opponent on the battlefield, and there is the additional risk that the conflict could spread to other parts of the country and perhaps even draw in other countries in the region.

Introduction

The background of the latest armed clashes in the north of Ethiopia is the multiple political and social crises that have plagued the ethnically-based federal system created in 1994, mostly generated by persistent ethnic rivalries and clashes and the incessant disputes between regionally-based elites (particularly from the Tigray, Amhara and Oromo regions) for control over the Federal Government, institutions and finances.

The Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF), which controls the Regional State of Tigray, has been in a bitter conflict with the central government for the last two years. The deepening of this dispute over the last few months is the immediate cause of the outbreak of civil war in the country, and the leadership of Tigray has declared that it is ready for a protracted military confrontation with the central government if necessary.

Civil War In Ethiopia: Conflict Developments And Background

The Tigray People’s Liberation Front (TPLF)

The outbreak of armed conflict between the TPLF and the Federal Government threatens to tear the country apart, and poses a grave threat to regional security – with the collapse of the constitutional arrangements that sought to resolve ethnic and political rivalries and disputes pacifically, Ethiopia has been experiencing the politicization of ethnicity with increasingly deadly consequences, fuelling the growth of mass protests, armed insurgency, massacres, ‘ethnic cleansing’, acts of terrorism and separatist sentiments.

Among these, in the Regional State of Oromo, 167 people died in July of this year during the suppression of mass protests and riots and over 4 thousand people were arrested, including prominent opposition politician and media mogul Javar Mohammed. There is the additional risk that Eritrea may become involved in the civil war that has broken out in the north of Ethiopia, and the conflict also greatly increases the ever-present potential for explosive conflict in the south between the Federal Government and the Somali clans of the Regional State of Somali and adjacent areas, which in a worst case scenario could provoke or incite a new round of confrontation with neighbouring Somalia.

Mass protests and ethnic nationalism had been kept ruthlessly in check under the Marxist Derg regime (1974-1991) installed after a military coup that ousted long-time Emperor Haile Selassie, as well as during the more than two decades of Ethiopian People’s Revolutionary Democratic Front (EPRDF) rule that followed, during which the ruling coalition controlled all 547 seats in Ethiopia’s Federal Parliament.

The TPLF was for most of this time the dominant party in the EPRDF coalition, the other members being the Amhara National Democratic Movement (ANDM), the Oromo People’s Democratic Organisation (OPDO), and the Southern Ethiopian People’s Democratic Movement (SEPDM), each representing political factions from the most important regions of the country.

Colorado tightens COVID-19 restrictions in 12 more counties as infections, hospitalizations reach new levels

Colorado is moving 12 more counties to the state’s second-highest level of COVID-19 restrictions in the coming days, meaning at least 27 counties will be a step away from lockdown if they don’t slow the surging transmission of the novel coronavirus.

The pandemic continues to worsen in Colorado, with the state again reporting record numbers of new coronavirus cases and hospitalizations Thursday.

State public health officials — reluctant to issue another statewide stay-at-home order — continued to urge Coloradans to only interact with people in their households, wear masks and stay six feet from others when out in the community.

“Our hope with all of this, these are the kinds of local interventions that will help control the spread of this pandemic in these local communities,” said Dr. Eric France, chief medical officer at the state Department of Public Health and Environment, about moving more counties to Level Orange on the state’s color-coded dial system. That level reduces most business capacity to 25%.

While we can impact the pandemic through these local interventions, and potentially state interventions, we have to remember that it all begins at home,” he said during a news briefing. “It begins with us as individuals.”

The 10 counties will move to Level Orange on Friday are: Douglas, El Paso, La Plata, Phillips, Prowers, Sedgwick, Otero, Crowley, Gilpin and Clear Creek. Two more counties — Pueblo and Conejos — will move to that level on Saturday, according to the state health department.

Boulder County, already at Level Orange, took additional local action Thursday, announcing it is limiting capacity at indoor events to 25% and no more than 25 people. The county previously allowed indoor events to have multiple rooms with each at the 25% limit, health department spokeswoman Chana Goussetis said in an email.

Pueblo on Thursday also extended the city’s 10 p.m. curfew until Nov. 27. The county has issued 11 citations for people not abiding by the curfew, according to a news release.

“Most of our businesses, communities and schools are doing exactly what we need to do to reduce the spread of this disease,” said Jeff Zayach, director of Boulder County Public Health, in a statement. “But when we don’t all take this seriously it impacts everyone — from those who have lost loved ones, to the ability to keep kids in school, to our businesses being able to continue to operate, and certainly our emotional, physical and mental health.”

Brooklyn District Attorney Eric Gonzalez, together with New York City Police Commissioner Dermot Shea, announced the indictment of an alleged gun trafficking ring that purchased firearms in South Carolina and Virginia that were then transported on the Iron Pipeline and destined to be sold on the streets of Brooklyn.

District Attorney Gonzalez said, “This indictment is part of our multi-pronged approach to stem the surge in gun violence that we have seen in Brooklyn and throughout the entire city this year. We are determined to work with the Police Department to focus specifically on the drivers of crime, including those responsible for the proliferation of firearms by bringing them to the streets of Brooklyn. I commend the detectives, especially the undercovers, and my prosecutors for their joint efforts in this important case.”

Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison said, “This indictment is another example of how the NYPD and our law-enforcement partners remain focused on eliminating illegal guns from the streets of New York City. Bringing gun traffickers to justice is dangerous work, but the NYPD remains committed to protecting New York City communities and keeping people safe. I commend the members of our Firearms Suppression Section, and specifically the Firearms Investigations Unit, and the Brooklyn District Attorney for their efforts that resulted in these indictments.”

The District Attorney identified the defendants as Montoun Hart, 49, of Brownsville, Brooklyn; Vernal Douglas, 49, of Flatlands, Brooklyn; Christopher Hodges, 31, of Walterboro, South Carolina; and Ira Jones, 42, of South Boston, Virginia. The defendants have been variously charged in a 139-count indictment with first-, second- and third-degree criminal sale of a firearm; second- and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon; fourth-degree conspiracy and related charges. Hart and Douglas were arraigned in Brooklyn Supreme Court. Hart has been remanded and bail was set at $750,000 for Douglas. Jones is awaiting extradition from Virginia. Hodges is being sought.

The District Attorney said the investigation spanned from October 2019 to October 2020 and began based on information obtained about an individual who was allegedly known as a gun merchant in Brownsville. It is alleged that on November 4, 2019, an undercover detective met defendant Montoun Hart for the purpose of purchasing firearms from the defendant. The undercover allegedly made six controlled firearm purchases from the defendant from November 4 to November 19, 2019.

The undercover then facilitated a meeting between the defendant and another undercover, who posed as an associate of the original undercover and who would purchase firearms on his behalf. Between December 3, 2019 and December 30, 2019, the second undercover allegedly made three controlled firearm purchases from the defendant.

As a result, while he expects small policy progress on Global-to-Local, health care coverage, and a capex/R&D rebound, he anticipates only temporary gains for cyclicals & inflation. AS a result, the "all one trade" market - which he first defined back in August - is still with us.

Meanwhile, according to Woodard, the greatest risk is that benefits of a divided government are front-loaded.

This means that while good vaccine news & macro data may be short-term bullish they will prove to be "medium-term bearish if used as a pretext for tighter budgets, with 2021 set to be the fastest fiscal contraction on record."

Indeed, in a world where what goes up must come down - unless extended indefinitely which however can't happen under gridlock - Woodard warns that after the fastest budget expansion on record, "the fastest fiscal contraction ever looms."

At the funeral of Pope John Paul II at St. Peter’s Square, banners rose from the sea of mourners reading “Santo Subito,” or “Saint at Once.” He was a giant of the church in the 20th century, spanning the globe — inspiring generations of believers with his youthful magnetism, then aged infirmity — and, as the Polish pope, he helped bring down Communism over his more than 26-year reign.

Days after his death in 2005, cardinals eager to uphold his conservative policies had already begun discussing putting him on a fast track to sainthood while devotees in Rome and beyond clamored for his immediate canonization, drowning out notes of caution from survivors of sexual abuse and historians that St. John Paul II had persistently turned a blind eye to the crimes in his church.

Now, after more than a decade of doubts, his reputation has fallen under its darkest cloud yet, after the very Vatican that rushed to canonize him released an extraordinary report last week that laid at the saint’s feet the blame for the advancement of the disgraced former prelate Theodore E. McCarrick.

The investigation, commissioned by Pope Francis, who canonized John Paul in 2014, revealed how John Paul chose not to believe long-standing accusations of sexual abuse against McCarrick, including pedophilia, allowing him to climb the hierarchy’s ladder.

The findings detailed decades of bureaucratic obfuscation and lack of accountability by a host of top prelates and threatened to sully the white robes of three popes. But most of all, critics say, it provides searing proof that the church moved with reckless speed to canonize John Paul and now it is caught in its own wreckage.

“He was canonized too fast,” said Kathleen Cummings, author of “A Saint of Our Own” and head of a center on U.S. Catholicism at the University of Notre Dame. She said that given the “really damning evidence” in the report, had the church waited at least five years and not mere days to begin the canonization process, “it would probably not begin for John Paul II because of his complicity in the clergy sex abuse scandal.”

The Vatican report shows that Pope Benedict XVI told McCarrick to keep a low profile when more allegations of abuse emerged in 2005. Francis, despite hearing rumors of the abuse from his top lieutenants, trusted that his predecessors had properly vetted the case and left it alone, the report found.

Francis has acknowledged his own failures in believing bishops over victims. He removed McCarrick from the priesthood and has in recent years instituted new church policies to increase accountability.

Peru’s interim president Merino resigns after 2 protesters killed in clashes

Peru’s interim president, Manuel Merino, has announced his resignation after less than a week in office, as protests in the capital Lima to support his controversially impeached predecessor left two people dead and dozens wounded.

“I present my irrevocable resignation,” Merino said in a televised address, adding that it was time for “peace and unity” for the country.

The call for his “immediate” dismissal was backed by all parties in Peru’s Congress. The MPs warned that they would launch impeachment procedures if Merino tries to hold on to power.

Joe Biden’s aides on Sunday demanded that their boss receive intelligence briefings as soon as this week. With President Donald Trump refusing to concede, the Democrat remains frozen out of the White House.

Biden’s transition team complained last week that General Services Administration chief Emily Murphy has not yet broken ranks with Trump and is refusing to sign off on Biden as the winner of this month’s presidential election. Until Murphy ascertains Biden’s apparent victory, the former vice president will not receive intelligence and security briefings.

“What we really want to see this week … is the General Services Administration issue that ascertainment,” Biden’s appointed chief of staff, Ron Klain, told NBC News on Sunday.

Incoming presidents are entitled to receive classified briefings in order to smooth the transition come inauguration day. Trump received these briefings after Hillary Clinton conceded in 2016, albeit less frequently than his predecessors.

Klain added that the Biden team has not been given information necessary to form a plan to combat the coronavirus, telling NBC that “we can’t have any of those kinds of contacts until we get to that stage of ascertainment,” and urging the Trump administration to ensure a “seamless transition.”

Earlier on Sunday, mainstream media outlets claimed one of Trump’s tweets, in which he alleged Biden had “won” the election by fraud, amounted to a concession from the embattled president. However, Trump quashed those rumors shortly afterwards, tweeting “I concede NOTHING!” and that Biden “only won in the eyes of the FAKE NEWS MEDIA.”

'Kraken' provides needed intelligence, force protection at NIE

WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE, N.M. (Army News Service, Aug. 31, 2011) – The Army is evaluating a cutting-edge force-protection system which combines radar, surveillance cameras, unmanned sensors, gunshot detection and remote-controlled weapons.

The sensors and weapons are combined into a single, integrated system that can scan surrounding terrain for threats, alert Soldiers of potential imminent danger and provide them fires to respond, service officials said.

The Combat Outpost Surveillance and Force Protection System, or COSFPS, nicknamed "Kraken" after the mythological sea creature with many heads, was evaluated in July as part of the Army's 3,800-Soldier-strong Network Integration Evaluation, or NIE at White Sands Missile Range, N.M. The exercise was designed to assess and integrate a host of technologies.

The individual technologies assembled for the Kraken are integrated through a government-owned, scalable and open architecture software called Joint Force Protection Advanced Security System, or JFPASS, said Tom O'Neill, Integrated Base Defense Product director, Joint Project Manager Guardian.

"While the sensor and device payload is impressive and probably offers the most force protection per cubic foot compared to any other system, the key is the integration standard, fusion and automation which reduces troop to task and provides increased situational awareness – thus resulting in more reaction time for the warfighter," said O'Neill.

The JFPASS software enables data from all of Kraken's system components to be integrated via a standard protocol, fused and conditionally automated, O'Neill explained; the information is displayed on screens showing a Common Operating Picture, referred to as COP.

"We've been able to positively identify targets before they got in range with weapons on our COP. They have tried to raid us multiple times, but we have been able to positively identify them and engage them before they got close. This is great for tracking the people coming in and out of your AO," said Pvt. James Benham, a forward observer who has been evaluating Kraken/COSFPS in a series of mock-combat exercises at a WSMR "Mountain Village" outpost.

Kraken which represents a partnership between the Army's Rapid Equipping Force and JPMG is an ISU-90 containerized system and includes the following hardware devices for detection: an Elta Ground Master Ground Systems Radar, or GSR, an STS-1400 GSR, L3 AN/PRS-9 BAIS Unattended Ground Sensors and five "Shot Spotters," sensors designed to detect direct or indirect enemy gunfire, O'Neill said.

Colorado voters elected Democrat Iman Jodeh to the Colorado General Assembly, making her the first Muslim and Arab woman elected to the Colorado state legislature.

Smartmatic, a UK based company, is a George Soros linked company that has provided voting technology in 16 states including battleground zones like Arizona, Colorado, Florida, Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania and Virginia.

The company was formed in 2000 and a Chavez campaign adviser was placed on the board as well.

The chairman of Smartmatic is Lord Mark Malloch-Brown, who sits in the British House of Lords and on the board of George Soros’s Open Society Foundations. He was formerly the vice-chairman of Soros’s Investment Funds and even the deputy secretary-general of the United Nations when he worked as chief of staff to Kofi Annan.

According to Wikileaks documents Smartmatic machines were used to rig the 2004 Venezuela elections in favor of Marxist candidate Hugo Chavez.

The company came out of nowhere to snatch a multli-million dollar contract in an electoral process that ultimately reaffirmed Chavez’ mandate and all-but destroyed his political opposition.

The Smartmatic owners, were denounced in June 2004 by the press for having received a US $200,000 equity investment from a Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela (BRV) joint venture fund called FONCREI which was a Chavez organization. A Chavez campaign adviser was also placed on the board as well.

FEDS: 2 Former Philadelphia Officials Charged With Fraud, Embezzlement

PHILADELPHIA – United States Attorney William M. McSwain announced that two brothers, Leo and Paul Dignam, were charged by Information with fraud and embezzlement, and a third person, Barbara Conway, was also charged by Information with theft.

Leo Dignam, 61, of Philadelphia, PA, was charged with two counts of wire fraud and one count of embezzling from a program receiving federal funds. Leo’s brother, Paul Dignam, 58, also of Philadelphia, was charged with one count of mail fraud and one count of embezzling from a program receiving federal funds. Barbara Conway, 61, of Drexel Hill, PA, was charged with one count of theft of funds from a program receiving federal funds. At the time of the charged offenses, Leo and Paul Dignam were senior officials with the City of Philadelphia, and Conway was the Food Voucher Coordinator for the Philadelphia Health Management Corporation (PHMC), an agency contracted by the City to manage the Food Voucher Program.

Leo Dignam was an Assistant Managing Director in the Managing Director’s Office and, prior to serving in that position, was the Deputy Commissioner for Programs with the Philadelphia Parks and Recreation (“PPR”) Department. In these positions, he oversaw the administration of major events in the city, such as the Philadelphia Marathon, the Broad Street Run and the Mummers Parade. Mr. Dignam worked for the City of Philadelphia for approximately 38 years.

Over the course of several years, from 2012 through 2019, Leo Dignam allegedly engaged in a scheme to defraud the City of Philadelphia of approximately $150,000 by misusing two bank accounts he controlled on behalf of the City that existed to support the work of PPR, namely, recreational activities for citizens. In particular, he opened a bank account purportedly to support the activities of PPR in connection with a non-profit organization, the Junior Baseball Federation (“JBF”). The JBF partnered with the Philadelphia Phillies to raise most of its funds through the sale of tickets for Phillies games.

Instead of using the JBF bank account solely for its intended public purpose, Leo Dignam allegedly misused the account by converting funds from the account to pay for personal expenses he incurred on an American Express (“AMEX”) credit card that he opened in connection with the JBF account. He used the AMEX card, and shared it with family members, for purchases from retail stores, grocery stores, pharmacies, gas stations, online retailers and service providers, and other businesses. He then used the funds in the JBF bank account to pay off the personal expenses on the credit card.

Border Patrol Agents Find Enough Fentanyl to Kill 200,000 People

YUMA, Ariz. – Yuma Sector Border Patrol agents assigned to the Wellton Station arrested two U.S. citizens after finding over a pound of fentanyl pills hidden under the passenger seat of the car they were driving through the Interstate 8 immigration checkpoint Thursday morning.

Agents sent a Chevrolet Malibu to the checkpoint’s secondary inspection area at approximately 10 a.m. following a canine alert. While in secondary, a search of the vehicle revealed two plastic bags full of fentanyl pills wrapped in a hospital gown and hidden under the front passenger seat. The fentanyl pills, which weighed 1.276 pounds, were valued at $18,500.

In addition to arresting the two vehicle occupants, agents also seized the narcotics and the vehicle.

Fentanyl is a synthetic opioid that is 50-100 times more potent than heroin, oxycodone and morphine. Just two to three milligrams of fentanyl can kill a person. The amount of fentanyl found in the vehicle is equal to 578,783 milligrams.

Wisconsin: Lawsuit Filed To Remove Nearly 800,000 Ballots Due To Illegal Votes

Wisconsin is headed into mandatory recount but some to the state's voters have filed a lawsuit because they feel they are being disenfranchised

Wisconsin is one of the critical states that is still in flux where the 2020 General Election is concerned. The state must execute a mandatory recount because the vote totals in the presidential race were so close. And some residents feel that recount is disenfranchising their votes. Three voters in Wisconsin have joined in filing a federal lawsuit that seeks to exclude November 3, 2020, election results in three of the state’s most populated counties, counties that leaned heavily toward Democrat Joe Biden. The lawsuit claims that there exists “sufficient evidence that illegal votes were counted” in the counties of Milwaukee, Dane, and Menominee “to change or place in doubt the results” of the presidential election in those counties.

The plaintiffs asked the court to rule that the results in those counties, because they cannot be detached from the suspicion that massive vote fraud and ballot tampering took place, “must be invalidated.” To that end, the lawsuit seeks to block all three counties from certifying their results. “Certifying presidential electors without excluding certain counties would violate voters’ fundamental right to vote by vote-dilution disenfranchisement,” the suit said, citing the First and 14th Amendment protections. The lawsuit goes on to state that, “Because illegal votes dilute legal votes, the evidence establishes, and will establish, that the rights of voters have been violated by vote-dilution disenfranchisement. Consequently, the presidential election results from the counties identified should not be included in certified and reported totals for presidential electors from this state.” The litigation, if successful, would render over 792,000 votes cast across the state invalid and expunged from the vote totals.

Trump Lawyer Sidney Powell: "We're Getting Ready To Overturn Election Results In Multiple States"

Former federal prosecutor Sidney Powell, a Trump campaign lawyer, suggested in a Sunday interview that there is still more evidence coming out in President Donald Trump’s claims of voter fraud and irregularities.

“We’re getting ready to overturn election results in multiple states,” Powell said, saying that she has enough evidence of election fraud to launch a widespread criminal investigation.

“I don’t make comments without having the evidence to back it up,” she added, saying that elections software switched “millions of votes” from Trump to Democratic nominee Joe Biden.

Powell notably provided legal counsel to Gen. Michael Flynn in 2019. She was named to Trump’s legal team in the past several days.

Powell said a whistleblower came forward and said the elections software was designed to “rig elections,” saying that “he saw it happen in other countries,” referring to voting systems Dominion Voting Systems and Smartmatic, or perhaps other software and machines.

“We have so much evidence, I feel like it’s coming in through a fire hose,” Powell said, while noting that she won’t reveal the evidence that she has.

“They can stick a thumb drive in the [voting] machine, they can upload software to it even from the Internet … from Germany or Venezuela even,” she said, adding that operations “can watch votes in real-time” and “can shift votes in real-time,” or alleged bad actors can “remote access anything.”

“We’ve identified mathematically the exact algorithm they’ve used—and planned to use from the beginning” that allegedly switched votes to Biden, Powell remarked.

Powell also made reference to a 2019 investigation from Sens. Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), Ron Wyden (D-Ore.), as well as other Democratic lawmakers into Dominion Voting Systems, Election Systems & Software, and Hart InterCivic. The senators had expressed concerns about the security of the voting systems.

“(W)e have concerns about the spread and effect of private equity investment in many sectors of the economy, including the election technology industry—an integral part of our nation’s democratic process,” wrote the lawmakers in their letters to the firms about a year ago.

“These problems threaten the integrity of our elections and demonstrate the importance of election systems that are strong, durable, and not vulnerable to attack.”

Later in the Sunday morning interview, Powell said that her team has “detected voting irregularities that are inexplicable” in states where officials believe they have valid systems.
