Newsom Dethroned: Judge rules he overstepped authority in CA, by mandating vote-by-mail ballots
Judge Sarah Heckman of the Sutter County Superior Court said Governor Gavin Newsom lacked the authority needed to amend or change existing elections law. Newsom did so under the guise of an emergency due to the COVID-19 epidemic. However, Heckman said that wasn’t even reason enough to trample election law with the Executive Order that required all Californians receive vote-by-mail ballots for the Nov. 3 general election.
The executive action was taken as part of the California Emergency Services Act, or CESA, which gives Newsom special powers during a public emergency — in this case the novel coronavirus pandemic. Newsom signed an executive order that mandated all registered voters receive vote-by-mail ballots and allowed counties to reduce precincts on Election Day if they provide in-person voting centers for at least three days prior as a way to mitigate the spread of COVID-19.

The implementation of the commitment scheme in the SwissPost-Scytl mixnet uses a trapdoor commitment scheme, which allows an authority who knows the trapdoor values to generate a shuffle proof transcript that passes verification but actually alters votes. We give two examples of details of how this could be used. The first example allows the first mix to use the trapdoors to substitute votes for which it knows the randomness used to generate the encrypted vote. The second example does not even require knowledge of the random factors used to generate the votes, and could be used by the last mix in the sequence.

SETTING THE RECORD STRAIGHT ON TRUMP CAMPAIGN’S PENNSYLVANIA LITIGATION
On Sunday night, the Washington Post ran a complete mischaracterization of the Trump campaign’s litigation in Pennsylvania, erroneously claiming the campaign had dropped the claim of nearly 700,000 ballots processed illegally and in secret. The campaign did no such thing. In fact, because of a Friday ruling by the Third Circuit Court of Appeals in an unrelated case, the campaign strategically decided to restructure its lawsuit to rely on claims of violations of the Equal Protection Clause of the 14th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. The claim that 682,479 ballots were improperly processed and counted is still very much part of the suit.
Paragraph 4 of the amended filing reads: “Allegheny and Philadelphia Counties alone received and processed 682,479 mail-in and absentee ballots without review by the political parties and candidates. These are unprecedented numbers in Pennsylvania’s elections history. Rather than engaging in an open and transparent process to give credibility to Pennsylvania’s brand-new voting system, the processes were hidden during the receipt, review, opening, and tabulation of those 682,479 votes.” See also paragraphs 132-150.
References to the improperly counted ballots are repeated throughout the filing, with paragraph 150 specifically stating that all factual allegations in the preceding paragraphs are incorporated within the Equal Protection claim.
“We are still arguing that 682,479 ballots were counted illegally, in secret,” said Tim Murtaugh, Trump 2020 communications director. “Our poll watchers were denied meaningful access to watch the vote counting and we still incorporate that claim in our complaint. Unfortunately, fake news activists rushed to print their clickbait headlines, apparently without even reading the lawsuit. That’s lazy journalism at best, but more likely intentionally misleading.”
Rudy Giuliani, personal attorney to President Trump and coordinator of the campaign’s legal strategy, said, “It’s routine for attorneys to file amended complaints to tighten the claims. We simplified the suit so it is more focused and narrowed. This is part of the process. Clearly the reporters at Washington Post have a reading deficit.”

Trump national security adviser Robert O'Brien said the National Security Council will work to make the likely transition to the Biden administration as smooth as possible. O'Brien's remarks were made last week during a global security forum sponsored by the Soufan Center and aired on Monday, according to NBC News. During the stream, he said President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris "obviously" look like the winners of the election.
"Look, if the Biden-Harris ticket is determined to be the winner — and obviously things look that way now — we'll have a very professional transition from the National Security Council," he said, adding that the Biden team is "going to have very professional folks who are coming in to take these positions, many of whom have been here before and spent a lot of time in the White House in prior administrations. And the great thing in the United States of America, we've passed the baton and had peaceful, successful transitions even in the most contentious periods." O'Brien continued, "I'm old enough to remember Bush v. Gore, and the transition there didn't start until mid-December. And yet, it got done. And if we're in a situation where we're not going into a Trump second term, which I think people where I'm sitting in the White House would like to see, if it's another outcome, it will be a professional transition. There's no question about it."
The adviser's comments stand in stark contrast to several others in President Trump's orbit, whether from the campaign or the White House. Despite every major media outlet projecting Biden the victor of the election, the Trump campaign is contesting the results in a number of battleground states, and it has filed a litany of lawsuits to overturn the vote, although most have not amounted to much. The campaign has also shared repeated claims of widespread voter fraud and irregularities, but it has yet to provide proof that the claims are accurate. The president has refused to concede. Over the weekend, he tweeted that Biden "won" before claiming that it was the result of election fraud. He then said that the comment was in no way a concession. Both Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and White House trade adviser Peter Navarro have said they anticipate a second Trump term.

Findings of Misconduct by an Assistant United States Attorney for Sexually Inappropriate Comments to Multiple
Individuals, Inappropriate Touching of an Intern’s Breast, and Lack of Candor to the OIG
The Department of Justice (DOJ) Office of the Inspector General (OIG) initiated this investigation upon the receipt of information from the Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) alleging that an Assistant United States Attorney (AUSA) may have physically and verbally sexually harassed an Intern in the United States Attorney’s Office (USAO), including deliberately running his arm across the Intern’s breast without her consent.
During the course of the investigation, the OIG found indications that the AUSA also made sexually suggestive comments to three other individuals, including another AUSA, a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Forensic Analyst, and a U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) Postal Inspector. In addition, the OIG found indications that the AUSA lacked candor during an OIG interview.
The OIG investigation substantiated the allegations that the AUSA engaged in sexually harassing conduct by making sexually inappropriate comments to the USAO Intern, the AUSA, the FBI Forensic Analyst, and the USPIS Postal Inspector, all in violation of federal regulations regarding sexual harassment and employee conduct, as well as in violation of DOJ policy prohibiting sexual harassment in the workplace. The OIG further concluded that the AUSA inappropriately touched the Intern’s breast, in violation of state law. The OIG further found that the AUSA lacked candor in his OIG interview, in violation of DOJ policy.
Federal and state criminal prosecution of the AUSA was declined.
The OIG has completed its investigation and is providing this report to the EOUSA and DOJ’s Office of Professional Responsibility for appropriate action.

James Stang, a counsel to the Tort Claimants' Committee, said that the Boy Scouts of America's bankruptcy "is literally 100 times larger than any other bankruptcy case resulting from sexual abuse liability. The Tort Claimants Committee's duty is to ensure that all survivors of sexual abuse in Scouting are fairly compensated." Most of the claims fall between the 1960s to the 1980s — before the Boy Scouts began mandating criminal background checks or abuse prevention training for all staff and volunteers, according to ABC News. "As victims of abuse in the Boy Scouts, we are inspired by the courage of so many fellow scouts who stepped forward to make known they suffered similar abuse," said John Humphrey, chairman of the claimants' committee. "We each live with the impact of abuse every day."
The Boy Scouts filed for bankruptcy in February after the 110-year-old organization received hundreds of lawsuits alleging sexual abuse. The Boy Scouts will use the Chapter 11 petition to reorganize and establish a victims' compensation fund. The deadline to file a sexual abuse claim for this case is Monday at 5 p.m., but victims who miss that deadline can still file suits against local Boy Scout councils in states that have "victim-friendly statute-of-limitations laws, such as New York, New Jersey, and California," according to attorney Jason Amala, who is part of a legal team representing more than 1,000 claimants. In a statement, the BSA said it was "devastated by the number of lives impacted by past abuse in Scouting." "The response we have seen from survivors has been gut wrenching," the organization added. "We are deeply sorry."

McEnany to Levin: Democrat Officials Redesigned the Election to Prop Up Joe Biden
Kayleigh McEnany told Mark Levin on Sunday that Democrat secretaries of state redesigned elections across the nation in an effort to prop up candidate Joe Biden. In an appearance on Life, Liberty, and Levin, McEnany said, “These Democrat secretaries of state, I can’t express enough, Mark, what they have done …. They were consistently misrepresenting their opinion, changing deadlines, designing a system to prop up Democrats and Joe Biden.”
McEnany, the White House press secretary who also advises President Trump’s reelection campaign, said the allegations of election fraud deserve to be heard in the courts. She detailed allegations of software issues, intimidation and assault of poll workers, and changed ballot deadlines in violation of state law.
“For decades in these Democrat-run cities, they have designed a system that no one has challenged, where it has been rife with fraud,” McEnany said. “I have hundreds of pages of affidavits right here from Michigan alone, where they saw piles of ballots going through machines multiple times, where they saw that a name was not matched with voter records, they were just logged in with the date of birth of January 1, 1900, example after example.”
“This is an old system, an old, fraudulent system,” she continued. “It took this president winning new states like Pennsylvania and Michigan to challenge the old system. But more than even the instances of fraud we found, back in September we saw Democrat secretaries of state around this country redesigning election systems. Flouting the legislatures who, under Article I, Section 4 [of the Constitution] have the power to determine the time, manner, and place of elections. Redesigning election systems.”
McEnany attacked the practice of mass-mailing absentee ballots, saying, “Our lawyers described it to me like this. It was like sending live ammunition out across the country that was intended to be used in a fraudulent manner. Make no mistake, it was.”
“We found quite a bit in just seven-plus days,” McEnany said. “People willing to put it in writing, in their own handwriting, put their name down, sign their name with a notary present, and give sworn testimony under penalty of perjury. What is remarkable is the consistency with which the affidavits read. One young woman called the c-word. Another one of our poll watchers, who was a man of Chinese descent, being yelled at, ‘Why are you here? You’re not an American.’ And when he said, ‘I am an American,’ he was shouted down for five minutes. These people deserve to be heard.”
In his monologue prior to interviewing McEnany, Levin excoriated Barack Obama for saying on 60 Minutes that the Trump campaign’s electoral challenges undermine our democracy. “I want to say something to President Obama …. don’t you damn lecture us. For four damn years, the FBI was involved in trying to undermine this president. They tried to remove this president from office. A phony criminal investigation. A phony impeachment. You dragged the American people through the dirt, because you wouldn’t accept democracy. You wouldn’t accept the Constitution of the United States. And now everybody is supposed to roll over.”
On the issue of electoral malfeasance, Levin said, “None of this is about good governance. They are enshrining and institutionalizing fraud!”
“They’re the ones undermining our democracy!” Levin concluded. “They’re the ones announcing how they’re going to destroy our constitution!”

I don't know who makes/updates QClock blanks, but it hasn't been done yet since it last expired on 11-11-2020

It's not ideal, as I just cut and pasted the prior rotation and enlarged it to fill the outer ring thru Feb 28, 2021… a reasonable cutoff since last year was a leap year, and I couldn't include a Feb 29th in 2021.
I would imagine an official version will be done LONG before then… days or hours from now, I would think.
It's not super pretty, but just as functional for the time being.
We are at [56] today.
