65 World Health Organization staffers infected with coronavirus, half at Geneva headquarters

Sixty-five World Health Organization staff members have tested positive for the coronavirus, according to an internal email. The email, obtained by the Associated Press, shows that about half, 32 staffers, were working at the WHO’s headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland, suggesting that the agency’s strict screening and prevention measures were not sufficient to protect its workers from the virus. The email, which was sent to staff on Friday, indicated that there had been at least one cluster of infections at the WHO. Four people who were on the same team and one person who had contact with them had tested positive. The email did not specifically mention a “cluster" — when two or more people in the same area are infected. The Associated Press suggested that the cluster indicates “basic infection control and social distancing procedures were likely being broken.”

California significantly rolls back county reopening plans amid ‘unprecedented’ COVID-19 surge

Experiencing a ballooning of COVID-19 cases, Gov. Gavin Newsom on Monday announced that he was pulling an “emergency brake” to slow the spread of the virus, forcing the vast majority of California to return back to the state’s most restrictive tier in its reopening plan.

When the changes go into effect on Tuesday, 41 counties — where 94% of Californians live — will now be placed under the state’s purple tier restrictions — up from just 13 of the state’s 58 counties last week. The move from the state’s red tier down to the most-restrictive purple tier will completely shutter indoor dining, gyms, movie theaters and places of worship in those counties.

In the Bay Area, Alameda, Contra Costa, Santa Clara, Napa and Solano counties will revert to the purple tier, while San Francisco, Marin and San Mateo counties will move back into the red tier, the second-most restrictive.

The governor also added that officials were assessing the possibility of a future curfew order.

“In nearly every part of the state we are seeing case rates increase and transmission rates increase. No longer is it concentrated in a handful of counties,” Newsom said during a news briefing Monday. “We are seeing community spread broadly across the entire state.”

California joins a growing number of states, including Michigan, Oregon and Washington, imposing new public health orders and lockdowns to clamp down on the spread of the virus as case numbers soar and the country heads into the winter holiday season.

Newsom said officials in California were “sounding the alarm” due to an unprecedented uptick in COVID-19 cases. “California is experiencing the fastest increase in cases we have seen yet — faster than what we experienced at the outset of the pandemic or even this summer,” he said.

As of Monday, more than 1 million cases have been confirmed across California and more than 18,200 people have died as a result. In the past two weeks, the average number of cases reported each day has nearly doubled — a 91% increase from about 4,162 per day at the start of November — and the number of patients hospitalized has increased by nearly 50%. The percentage of COVID-19 tests returning positive results has increased from 3.2% to 4.6% over the past two weeks, according to state data.

The number of patients hospitalized due to the virus has grown to more than 3,800 while the number of new cases has reached its highest point since Aug. 17, an average of about 7,967 per day over the past week, according to data compiled by this news organization.

“The data we are seeing is very concerning,” said California Health and Human Services Secretary Dr. Mark Ghaly. “We are in the midst of a surge and time is of the essence. Every day matters and every decision matters.”

George Rutherford, an epidemiologist and infectious disease expert at UC San Francisco, called the acceleration in new cases “scary stuff,” as it will lead to an uptick in hospitalization and deaths in the coming weeks.

“We don’t have a lot of cards to play after this,” Rutherford said. “When we have more hospitalizations, that becomes a problem because people might not be able to get into the hospitals with treatable conditions.

“And it’s a big deal to get squeezed out of hospital beds because it leads to a mortality beyond that directly caused by COVID.”

The governor’s announcement comes less than two weeks before Thanksgiving — a holiday traditionally marked by large gatherings that officials fear could accelerate the spread of the virus if celebrated as usual. California officials are urging those who travel out of the state for the holiday later this month to self-quarantine for 14 days upon their return though it is a recommendation rather than an outright travel ban.

Officials are also instructing Californians who do attend any gatherings over the holiday weekend to keep it short, wear a mask at all times and remain outdoors.

During a news conference Monday, San Francisco’s top health official Grant Colfax added that residents should “not use testing to determine whether you can travel or not.”

“We have seen the repeated failure of this type of testing strategy, including in Washington, D.C.,” Colfax said. “… People who harbor the virus can still test negative early on in their infection.”

George Soros buys a stake in big data firm Palantir

Two heavy hitters of the investment world recently bought stakes in Palantir, the secretive and controversial big data firm backed by Peter Thiel that began trading on Wall Street in September.

Soros Fund Management, run by billionaire investor and philanthropist George Soros, and Third Point, the firm led by occasional activist investor Dan Loeb, both disclosed late Friday that they own shares of Palantir.

Soros Fund Management acquired 18.5 million shares of Palantir while Third Point took a more modest position of 2.4 million shares.

The Soros investment was worth about $175.3 million, according to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. That works out to a purchase price of $9.50 a share. Palantir's stock is currently trading at just under $16 a share, so the Soros stake is now valued at about $294 million.

Palantir went public through a direct listing of existing stock on the New York Stock Exchange. That means Palantir didn't need to sell new shares through a more traditional initial public offering. It's how Spotify (SPOT) and Slack (WORK) also started trading on Wall Street.

Shares of Palantir have more than doubled from their so-called reference price of $7.25 a share on the day of the direct listing. Palantir is now worth nearly $30 billion.

The company, which has many governmental customers around the world, has been involved in helping track data about the spread of coronavirus as well as the potential distribution of vaccines.

But Palantir has also been controversial due to its relationships with government agencies and the vast trove of data it tracks. That has raised consumer privacy concerns.

The company's Gotham, Foundry and Apollo platforms have been used to help monitor terrorist activity. Big businesses also use Palantir's services to analyze data about weather patterns and consumer purchases.

Palantir was co-founded by Thiel, a venture capitalist who is known for being a member of the "PayPal mafia (PYPL)" that helped launch up the payments giant.

Thiel, who has more conservative political leanings, was also a backer of President Trump in 2016 and is currently a member of Facebook's (FB) board of directors. This makes him a bit of an outlier in the predominantly Democratic-leaning Silicon Valley.

It also makes the Soros investment more interesting given that the investor is known for backing liberal causes.

Up until recently, little was known about Palantir's finances. But before going public the company disclosed that while revenue is surging, it is not yet profitable.

That's common for many so-called unicorns, private startups that command multi-billion dollar valuations. Palantir disclosed promising results for the third quarter last week, the first earnings report since the direct listing.

Palantir said that sales surged 52% to $289.2 million and raised its revenue outlook for the full year. The company also announced it won new contracts with the US Army and National Institutes of Health.

The company did lose a lot of money in the quarter — $853.3 million, in fact.

But Palantir noted that a big portion of its losses was due to $847 million in compensation expenses tied to the direct listing. Excluding that and other expenses tied to the Wall Street debut, Palantir reported a net profit of $73.1 million. Shares soared more than 8% on the news Friday.

Trump Gains At Least 1,600 Votes, Biden Over 800 in Georgia Recount After Floyd County Finds Over 2,600 Ballots Not Counted (Alleged Dominion Glitch)

The statewide recount of votes on the presidential election over the weekend revealed that in Floyd County over 2,600 votes were not counted due to a server error, allegedly by a Dominion tabulating machine. The statewide recount is still ongoing in several counties, the deadline for completion is 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.

The found votes reportedly favor President Trump almost two-to-one, cutting Joe Biden’s approximate 14,000 vote lead by about 800 votes.

…According to Board of Elections Chairman Tom Rees, “the hand count added 2,631 more votes than were registered by computers.” That number was released on Monday after nearly 20 hours of hand counting over the weekend.

It appears that the votes did not come from day of voting or absentee, but rather early voting.

According to Luke Martin, Floyd County GOP chairman, “It is scary that this happened in Floyd County. Imagine what the numbers could look like in places like Fulton County.” Martin Added, “It appears that our elections office did not misplace any ballots, rather it appears as if this is a computer software mishap with the Dominion system.”

…Of the 2,631 votes sources at the elections office told CVN that it appeared that between 1,600 and 1,900 were cast for President Trump.

Reports stated that early votes cast in October 24 were not counted due to a scanner error. Officials said that after a scanner broke the ballots were taken to a second scanner where they were wrongly scanned.

It was also reported that several provisional ballots were counted more than once. There should have only been 141 ballots cast but 216 were counted…

Sudanese Rebel Holdout Reportedly Preparing to Join Peace Talks in Juba

Many of the rebel groups that refused to lay down arms after the 2019 overthrow of Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir have recently signed peace agreements with the new government, but others with more hardline positions have remained ambivalent about giving up the fight.

According to a Monday report by Sudan’s Radio Dabanga, Sudan Liberation Movement-Abdul Wahid (SLM-AW) leader Abdelwahid El Nur is preparing to join the peace talks with Khartoum other rebel groups entered earlier this year.

South Sudanese chief negotiator Tut Gatluak reportedly told Sudan TV in a recent interview that Nur had accepted an invitation from South Sudanese President Salva Kiir to join the talks, and flown from Paris to Kampala, Uganda, with the intention of arriving in Juba later this week.

Several other rebel leaders from the Sudan Revolutionary Front (SRF), a loose alliance between rebel groups in Darfur and the Blue Nile-based Sudan People’s Liberation Movement-North (SPLM-N), penned a peace deal with Khartoum in October that Nur rejected at the time.

The BBC called him “a serial naysayer,” noting the SLM-AW’s position that it would not negotiate until peace was established in Darfur and those responsible for the violence, which has included genocide, are handed over to the International Criminal Court (ICC) and their militias disbanded.

According to the Associated Press, the October deal provides self-rule for the provinces of Blue Nile, South Kordofan and West Kordofan, where much of the fighting over the last 17 years has taken place, and integrates the SRF militias into the Sudanese military.

As the SRF leaders arrived in Khartoum on Sunday, Sudanese Prime Minister Abddalla Hamdok hailed the “true launching” of the peace process.

“Today, we launch the first steps to end the suffering of displaced people and address their issues,” Hamdok said, according to AP.

Another major rebel holdout, Abdel-Aziz al-Hilu of the SLPM-N, Sudan’s largest single rebel group, has also entered peace talks. The Sudan Tribune reported earlier this month that the secular SLM/A had rejected proposals from the government in Khartoum they felt did not adequately provide for separation of religion and the Sudanese state.

Peace Deal Includes Trial for Ousted Bashir

During the decades of rule by Bashir, the various rebel groups found common cause fighting against his government, and after 2003, defending sedentary towns in western Sudan from the Janjaweed militias deputized by Bashir as a counterinsurgency force. While South Sudan, under the control of the Sudan People’s Liberation Movement, became independent following a 2011 peace deal, other groups in the border regions fought on.

According to the United Nations, more than 300,000 people are estimated to have been killed and 2.7 million displaced by the wars in Darfur.

When Bashir was overthrown amid months of sustained mass resistance in April 2019, the SRF resisted joining the new government, objecting to the power-sharing agreement with the military - concerns that have since evaporated with the transition to civilian rule.

In late October, ICC chief prosecutor Fatou Bensouda told reporters she would be pursuing charges of war crimes and genocide against Bashir and his surrogates “without further delay,” according to Al Jazeera.

While the peace deal with the SRF included provisions for setting up a special court to try Bashir, who presently sits in a Sudanese prison, Hamdok has opposed simply handing him over. He told Financial Times in an October interview he might consider trying Bashir in a “hybrid court,” but that he preferred reforming the Sudanese judiciary so that they could hold the trial themselves.

Iowa Governor Declares Disaster, Mask Mandate For Everyone Over Age TWO

Today, Gov. Reynolds signed a new Public Health Disaster proclamation that imposes a number of additional public health measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19. These new measures will be effective at 12:01 a.m. on Tuesday, November 17 and will continue until 11:59 p.m. on December 10, 2020. To view a summary of enhanced mitigation measures, click here.

The proclamation requires that when people are in an indoor public space, and unable to social distance for 15 minutes or longer, masks are required to be worn. The same requirements apply to visitors and employees inside State buildings. Additional mask requirements are imposed for certain specific establishments and gatherings.

The proclamation also limits indoor social, community, business and leisure gatherings or events to 15 people. Outdoor gatherings are limited to 30. This includes wedding and funeral receptions, family gatherings and conventions. But it does not restrict gatherings that occur in the workplace as part of normal daily business or government operations.

With the exception of high school, collegiate and professional sports, all organized youth and adult sports activities of any size are suspended. This includes basketball, wrestling, gymnastics, swimming, dance, and group fitness classes at gyms. While high school sports and extracurricular activities are not prohibited, spectators at games or events are limited to 2 per student and are required to wear a mask.

Restaurants, bars, bowling alleys, arcades, pool halls, bingo halls, and indoor playgrounds are required to close at 10 p.m. and cannot host private gatherings of more than 15 people. Masks must be worn by staff who have direct contact with customers, and customers must wear masks when they are not seated at their table to eat or drink. The proclamation also requires masks inside casinos.

The proclamation also requires hospitals to ensure that inpatient elective procedures are reduced by 50%.

Famed constitutional, civil rights and tax attorney Robert Barnes tweeted out this morning a link to HereIsTheEvidence.com. It advertises itself as an archive for people to submit and review evidence of “irregularities” in the disputed 2020 election. As of time of writing, HereIstheEvidence.com documents 69 separate incidents of election irregularities ranked by “Significance” and “Admissibility Level”. The stated purpose is to crowd-source evidence to be used in court, presumably by challengers to the 2020 election process.

From the website’s introduction:

Due to the irregularity of this current 2020 Presidential Election, this is a crowdsourcing tool for organizing anomalies and legal issues. Our desire is that more of the election process would be made transparent so there would be unquestionable confidence in our voting systems. This is for aggregating items of evidence that would be admissible in court, not general election news stories or updates. The Trump Campaign is currently filing lawsuits in various states after videos of poll watchers turned away, witness accounts of ballot-stuffing and serious statistical anomalies emerged casting doubt on Vice President Joe Biden’s rapid swing-state comeback in the days after the November 3rd election. Democrats are calling on President Trump to concede the race and drop investigations into alleged voter fraud or election irregularities.

However, as National file previously reported, that is a reversal from their position in a North Carolina election fraud case in 2018. It is unclear who owns HereIsTheEvidence.com – the website says “Copyright © 2020 Here Is The Evidence” – but online records show that it was registered on November 10th, 2020 by an anonymous buyer. The first submission to the site was time-stamped November 11th. When asked about his current work, Barnes seemed to cite attorney-client privilege in his weekly Sunday livestream with YouTube legal commentator Viva Frei, but admitted he’s working in Georgia and suggested, “Well… just follow the news!” Barnes, whose motto is “I fight for the underdog and win the impossible“, is best known for litigating high-profile tax and civil rights cases. In 2008, he helped actor Wesley Snipes defeat felony tax charges over $23.5 million in alleged tax liabilities. Barnes is currently representing 8 anonymous Covington Catholic students suing the “most egregious high-profile individuals” who smeared them in 2019. Avoiding secret monetary settlements, his strategy is to achieve binding legal precedents that would cripple the ability of media and political figures to defame non-public figures (especially children) in the future. Barnes also made headlines in 2016 by winning $500,000 in a bet that President Donald J. Trump would win the presidency.

In 2020, Barnes has consistently predicted that Trump would win the 2020 election – “barring massive fraud” – in his weekly appearances on Richard “The People’s Pundit” Baris’ podcast. Baris was recently recognized by the New York Post as one of the most accurate pollsters of 2016 and 2020. Baris also confirmed that just under 10,000 absentee ballots for dead voters were received in Michigan in a “small” test he conducted. Since the November 3rd election, Barnes has brutally criticized the mainstream press for failing to report on evidence of widespread election irregularities and possible fraud. On Sunday’s podcast, while remaining cagey about his current clientele, he was careful to note that he’s only capable of giving information that is “publicly-available” about fraud in the 2020 election. Guilt by Partial Association: Airbnb Cancels Trump Supporter’s Account, Citing ‘Hate Group’ Ties

In the lead-up to the Million MAGA March on Saturday, the home-sharing and vacation rental company Airbnb unceremoniously booted a Trump supporter from its platform because he offered to host members of a “hate group” for the event. Airbnb canceled the man’s reservation and deleted his account after Twitter users complained about his use of the platform. The man later clarified that he is not a member of the Proud Boys, an organization the far-left smear factory the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC) has accused of being a hate group.

The man in question, identified as Ronald Gaudier, offered to host march attendees in a public Telegram chat run by the Proud Boys.

“I rented an apartment through AirBNB walking distance. There is room there for a couple other guys if you are interested message me,” Gaudier wrote on Tuesday. “I’m booked 13-15.”

Twitter users posted screenshots of the chat, warning Airbnb of Gaudier’s offer. Users attacked Airbnb for apparently agreeing to host someone loosely affiliated with the Proud Boys.

“Hey [Airbnb] what are your thoughts on members of white supremacist hate groups like the ‘Proud Boys’ using your platform?” We Will Be Ruthless, a Twitter account with more than 10,000 followers, tweeted at the home-sharing platform.

The company responded by announcing a total ban on Gaudier.

“We really appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Anyone affiliated with hate groups has no place on Airbnb. We’ve identified the reservation, cancelled it, and banned the user from our platform,” Airbnb announced.

Ben Breit, a spokesman for Airbnb, told PJ Media that Gaudier “was removed because of the Proud Boy association and our ban on hate groups.”

Yet Gaudier made it clear that he is not a member of the Proud Boys.

“It turns out I was somehow outed to AirBnB and they canceled not only my reservation but my membership because they ‘won’t support members of hate groups.’ Funny thing is I’M NOT A PROUD BOY nor do I intend to ever be one!” he wrote on Telegram, The New York Post reported.

“I want to make it clear, I have no desire to be a Proud Boy. I was in the vetting room for a little while and when I saw some of the company I was with it gave me pause. But I 100 percent support your right to free speech,” Gaudier added, claiming that Airbnb’s ban was a “badge of honor.”

An Airbnb spokesperson told the Post that it would not cancel any reservations or ban people merely for attending the pro-Trump rallies without any connection to hate groups.

Project Veritas: Georgia Recount Auditors Call Multiple Ballots For Joe Biden That Were Actually Marked For President Trump

Project Veritas has insiders in the Georgia recount that are catching votes wrongly attributed to Joe Biden.

“The second person was supposed to be checking it right, three times in three minutes she called out Biden,” the RNC monitor told Project Veritas. “The second auditor caught it and she said, “No, this is Trump.”

He continued, “Now, that’s just while I’m standing there. So, does the second checker catch it every time? But this lady in three times in three minutes from 2:09 to 2:12 she got three wrong.”

The RNC monitor told Project Veritas that the ballot counter became hostile toward him after he reported her to the elections officals.

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger ordered an audit and recount of all Georgia ballots, however officials are not checking signatures.

The statewide recount is still ongoing in several counties, the deadline for completion is 11:59 p.m. Wednesday.

On Monday it was revealed in Floyd County, Georgia over 2,600 votes were not counted due to a server error, allegedly by a Dominion tabulating machine.

The found votes reportedly favor President Trump almost two-to-one, cutting Joe Biden’s approximate 14,000 vote lead by about 800 votes.

Brad Raffensperger on Monday evening immediately called for the elections director to step down.

David Shafer, Chairman of the Georgia Republican Party said GOP observers are limited to one credentialed monitor for each ten counting tables.

“Congressman Doug Collins and I asked for a one to one ratio yesterday but our request was refused,” David Shafer said.

After graduating from Harvard Law, Kirsch worked as a law clerk for Judge John Tinder in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana. He was a partner in the Winston & Strawn law firm and worked in multiple roles at the Justice Department. He then went on to work as an assistant U.S. attorney in Indiana from 2001 to 2008, focusing on white-collar crime.

"Mr. Kirsch led numerous complex high-profile white collar investigations and has prosecuted offenses in numerous areas, including mail and wire fraud, honest services fraud, tax fraud, bank fraud, health care fraud, conspiracy, extortion, money laundering, racketeering, obstruction of justice, perjury, and gangs and narcotics," according to his biography on the U.S. Attorney's Office of the Northern District of Indiana website. UK: £1 Billion Fraud Probe Delayed Again, Victims Left Uncompensated

Results from an internal investigation launched in 2017 into an alleged cover-up of a £1 billion (US$1.32 bn) fraud scandal dating back over a decade have been delayed again, and likely won’t be revealed until next year, the lead investigator wrote in a statement on Friday.

The probe examines whether executives of the London-based Lloyds Banking Group were aware of the fraud – one of the worst in Britain's history – when the bank made an acquisition in 2009 of HBOS, the company responsible for the scandal, and the UK’s largest mortgage lender at the time.

Dating back to at least 2003, HBOS left hundreds of small business owners in financial ruin, many of whom have reportedly not received adequate financial compensation.

When Lloyds Bank launched its review, it also committed £100 million ($132 million) to an estimated 64 customers affected by the scandal.

An independent assessment of the bank's compensation scheme, however, determined that its methodology and process “did not achieve the purpose of delivering fair and reasonable offers of compensation.”

In December of 2019, shortly after this finding, Lloyds Bank’s chief executive António Horta-Osório offered an apology, and stated his personal commitment "to ensuring that those customers affected by the actions of individuals who have since been jailed for their crimes will get their claims properly addressed in an open and transparent manner."

Nearly two years had passed since his bank first launched its independent review following the 2017 imprisonment of least six individuals – including one senior manager at HBOS – that are now in prison for siphoning millions, some of which they blew on sex parties and exotic foreign holidays.

Results from Lloyds Banks’ internal review, which are to be handed over to the U.K.’s Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), were first reported to have been delayed in March of 2019.

Dame Linda Dobbs, the probe’s head independent legal expert, now says she aims to share the findings of her report “as expeditiously as possible” following its completion in the first half of 2021.

“My aim is to finish the review as speedily as possible. However, there can be no shortcuts if the investigation is to be thorough,” she said, citing constraints imposed by the government due to the COVID pandemic.

Lord Prem Sikka, a British accountant and academic, said on Twitter that the bank and the FCA have had “had plenty of time to act,” and that of the thousands of victims, some have already died, and others are in their 70’s.

“Justice delayed is justice denied,” he wrote, saying that the British financial regulator “has been missing in action.”

The find, made during a November 5 drug interdiction raid, contradicts the trend of drug smugglers using smaller submersibles in recent years. However, another similar vehicle was discovered in the area several years ago.

Earlier this month, officials from the Colombian Navy and US Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) raided a boatyard in the Cucurrupí River basin on Colombia’s western coast and found a rare high-capacity submarine for smuggling drugs.

According to a news release by the Colombian Navy, the vessel had a cargo capacity of 6 tons. The raid was just one of several across the country resulting in the arrests of 11 accused drug smugglers.

​Compared to the typical seagoing smuggling vessels found by police, this one had nearly four times the carrying capacity and had batteries enabling it to truly submerge instead of simply riding very low on the water. According to USNI News, its batteries would have enabled the submarine to run underwater for as long as 12 hours, but it still would have been towed for most of the sea journey from Colombia to the United States.

While much larger than the typical drug-smuggling semi-submersible, which can carry 1.6 tons of cargo on average, this sub was not the largest ever found, either. In August, Colombian authorities reported they had discovered a mega-submersible capable of carrying 8 tons of cargo.

Another electric submarine was found in the same river in 2017 that could have carried four people and had a cargo capacity of 4 tons.

Georgia Secretary Of State Lashes Out Over 'Baseless Allegations' Regarding Signature Mismatches, Dominion

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, a Republican, lashed out on Monday over 'baseless' accusations coming from President Trump and his allies, including Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), questioning the validity of ballots cast in the state, according to the Washington Post.

In a wide-ranging interview about the 2020 election, Raffensperger expressed exasperation with a string of baseless allegations coming from Trump and his allies about the integrity of the Georgia results, including claims that Dominion Voting Systems, the Colorado-based manufacturer of Georgia’s voting machines, is a “leftist” company with ties to Venezuela that engineered thousands of Trump votes not to be counted. -Washington Post

"Other than getting you angry, it’s also very disillusioning," said Raffensperger, who says both he and his wife have received death threats in recent days. "particularly when it comes from people on my side of the aisle. Everyone that is working on this needs to elevate their speech. We need to be thoughtful and careful about what we say," he added.

While the Post doesn't directly address it, the central issue regarding ballots is a March 'Consent Decree' enacted by Raffensperger and approved by Governor Brian Kemp, allowing for the 'curing' of ballots bearing signatures that don't match state records, but only through a complicated process. Previously, mismatched ballots would be invalidated.

The Consent Decree signed by the Georgia Secretary of State, with the approval of Governor @BrianKempGA, at the urging of @staceyabrams, makes it impossible to check & match signatures on ballots and envelopes, etc. They knew they were going to cheat. Must expose real signatures!

Raffensperger has been accused in a new lawsuit of 'unilaterally, and without the approval or direction of the Georgia General Assembly,' changing the process for handling absentee ballots - authority which rests with the legislature and not the Secretary of State or the Judiciary, which would therefore invalidate improperly counted absentee ballots.

I filed a lawsuit today in federal court in Atlanta to establish that the March 6, 2020 Consent Agreement by the GA Secretary of State rendered UNLAWFUL the 11/3 GA general election.

Meanwhile, President Trump further knocked Georgia's ongoing recount of roughly five million votes, tweeting on Monday that without the 'all important signature match' the recount is 'MEANINGLESS.'

And according to RealClearPolitics' Paul Sperry, Raffensperger didn't want to conduct a hand recount initially, but "wanted to just rescan the bar codes & be done with it."

Agitator rushed Trump supporters with a knife and said "I will kill you!"

On Saturday, photographs circulated of a female Black Lives Matter matter protester lying unconscious in the street in Washington, D.C. following the Million MAGA March. While video and eyewitness reports from the scene confirmed that the woman was holding a knife, the exact sequence of events leading up to the knockout was unknown until Sunday, when footage of the full altercation surfaced.

In the video, a black woman wearing a “Black Lives Matter” flag can be seen attempting to drive a motorcycle through a small group of Trump supporters.

The protester with the knife can be seen in the background. She is wearing a motorcycle helmet, brandishing a reportedly stolen American flag staff, and refers to the female on the motorcycle as her wife. Multiple instances of flags stolen from rally attendees being wielded as weapons by Black Lives Matter and Antifa were recorded on Saturday.

Holding the knife blade-down in a stabbing posture, the agitator then charges several of the Trump supporters and raises the weapon as if to strike.

“Put that s**t away,” someone says, to which the armed agitator screams in response, “Don’t touch my wife or I will kill you.”

A man then steps in to and snatches the stolen flag from the agitator, and she momentarily drops the knife in the scuffle. After losing the flag pole, the agitator picks up the knife and moves towards the crowd, but a man wearing a Proud Boys shirt strikes her in the face with a helmet, knocking her unconscious.

Several left-wing Twitter pundits and BLM/Antifa activists attempted to claim the woman was simply protecting herself from racist “Poor Boys” – as Joe Biden calls them – but the footage released Sunday confirms eyewitness reports that the woman was charging bystanders with a knife while screaming murderous threats.

Conservative activists have also noted that unlike instances of Antifa and BLM surprise attacks on Trump supporters, the Proud Boys did not step in to kick the woman and inflict additional damage once the threat had been neutralized.

Twitter brings in notorious hacker who worked at Google and DARPA months after celebrity megahack

Twitter has hired famous hacker (and government contractor) Peiter Zatko, better known as ‘Mudge,’ to beef up its security months after bitcoin scammers hijacked dozens of celebrity accounts with employee help.

Zatko joined the social media behemoth as head of security on Monday and is expected to take over “key security functions” after a 45 to 60 day trial period, according to Reuters, which interviewed him about his new role. He will report directly to CEO Jack Dorsey and will reportedly be given a free hand to change security practices at the company.

Twitter suffered its largest-ever hack in July, when 130 high-profile accounts belonging to tech billionaires, politicians, and major corporations were commandeered by a group of scammers asking for bitcoin donations. Some 36 of those accounts had their DMs infiltrated, and the hackers managed to con $118,000 out of gullible celebrity followers before Twitter shut down the scam. Despite that little issue, however, the company didn’t hire Zatko just to work on information security and engineering.

Zatko’s remit will also include “platform integrity – which starts to touch on abuse and manipulation of the platform,” the star hacker told Reuters, adding that he was “committed to improving public conversations on Twitter.” He praised the recent redesign of the retweet function, which prompts users to add a comment instead of simply reposting, and suggested the platform take things one step further by “forc[ing] people to understand a long conversation before participating in it.”

Along with Facebook and YouTube, Twitter has worked itself into a lather over the past few months over “platform integrity,” terrified of being blamed for another “incorrect” election outcome by the US intelligence agencies that increasingly rely on these platforms for information about their targets. Representatives from those agencies met repeatedly with the security heads of the major social media platforms in the run-up to the vote earlier this month.

A recount of ballots in Georgia’s presidential race revealed more than 2,600 ballots in Floyd County that were never entered into the final tally. Floyd County Republican Party Chairman Luke Martin says the ballots, once counted, will likely give President Trump a roughly 800-vote bite into Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden’s roughly 14,000-vote lead, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Trump is currently leading Biden in Floyd County by a nearly 43% margin of difference. The recovered votes may also help out GOP Sen. David Perdue, who is roughly 14,000 votes away from securing 50% of the vote in his bid for reelection and avoiding a runoff against Democratic candidate Jon Ossoff. “It’s very concerning,” Martin said. “But this doesn’t appear to be a widespread issue. I’m glad the audit revealed it, and it’s important that all votes are counted.”

Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger’s office said the votes were missed because election workers failed to upload a memory card containing the votes into a ballot counting machine. The Floyd County discrepancy does not appear to be a widespread issue, the office of the secretary of state said. Floyd County has had other problems tallying votes this election cycle. About half of a batch of 5,000 ballots were not initially recorded after being missed by scanner. State Elections Director Chris Harvey said the 2,600 missed ballots will be added to the final vote count by the time the recount is over on Friday. “You want every vote counted right the first time, but that is one of the goals of the audit: to identify problems,” Harvey said. “All the votes will be uploaded, and the results will be what they are.” Raffensperger initiated the recount last week, saying it was necessary to restore voter confidence in the 2020 election results. “This will help build confidence. It will be an audit, a recount and a recanvas all at once,” Raffensperger said at the press conference. “It will be a heavy lift.”

The secretary of state had said just days after the election that the state was headed for a recount because the presidential race was so close. “Right now, Georgia remains too close to call,” Raffensperger said at a news conference on Nov. 6. “Out of approximately 5 million votes cast, we will have a margin of a few thousand. The focus for our office and for the county election officials for now remains on making sure that every legal is counted and recorded accurately.” Raffensperger has had a rocky election season and taken heated criticism from GOP and Democratic politicians and candidates running for election in Georgia. On Nov. 9, both of Georgia’s GOP senators, Kelly Loeffler and Perdue, echoed their Democratic challengers’ calls that Raffensperger should resign over errors in the state’s election process. “While blame certainly lies elsewhere as well, the buck ultimately stops with the Secretary of State. The mismanagement and lack of transparency from the Secretary of State is unacceptable. Honest elections are paramount to the foundations of our democracy,” Loeffler and Perdue said in a joint statement. “The Secretary of State has failed to deliver honest and transparent elections. He has failed the people of Georgia, and he should step down immediately.” Raffensperger hit back at the senators in his own statement, saying, “that is not going to happen. The voters of Georgia hired me, and the voters will be the one to fire me.”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came close Monday to calling Joe Biden the US president or president-elect, but corrected himself at the last second.

Despite offering his congratulations to Biden, Netanyahu has so far refrained from explicitly stating that the former US vice president and Delaware senator won the elections.

He has also not spoken with Biden, and was asked about this by a journalist during a (Hebrew) press conference he held in Jerusalem.

“I have been told that in the very near future I will talk with the president…,” the premier answered, before abruptly stopping and correcting himself: “…er, with Joe Biden, who is supposed to be appointed the next president.”

Netanyahu refused to respond to another part of the question asking him what he thought about President Donald Trump’s unfounded claims that widespread fraud was committed and that he had won the election.

“We have enough politics over here,” Netanyahu said.

Netanyahu waited more than 12 hours after US media networks called the presidency for Biden on November 7 before issuing a statement congratulating him, and even then without specifying what for, leading to assessments that he does not want to anger Trump, who still has a few months left in his presidency, by acknowledging his rival’s victory.
