The offering consisted of 7,000,000 shares of common stock issued and sold by the Company and 47,625,000 shares of common stock sold by a parent entity of the Company controlled by Oaktree Capital (the “Selling Stockholder”), which included an additional 7,125,000 shares of the Company’s common stock following the exercise in full of the underwriters’ option to purchase additional shares of the Company’s common stock from the Selling Stockholder, in each case at an initial public offering price of $22.00 per share. The Company did not receive any of the proceeds from the sale of shares offered by the Selling Stockholder. The common stock began trading on the Nasdaq Global Market under the symbol “ARRY” on October 15, 2020.

University Of Chicago Faculty Demands Reparations

A letter published by a coalition of University of Chicago faculty demands a $2 million budget, Critical Race Theory Department, defunding of police, and reparations committee.

The call to action requires an “equity analysis” to mold the University’s future agenda and address an alleged history of fostering white supremacy and institutional racism.

The Demands follow the University of Chicago’s removal of a Stephen Douglas plaque from its campus.

University of Chicago Faculty associated with the Center for the Study of Race, Politics, and Culture (CSRPC) accused the University of Chicago of reinforcing systemic and institutional racism. The letter titled “More than Diversity – A Call to Action from University of Chicago Faculty” initiated a diversity strike to cease faculty collaboration on diversity initiatives and discourage academics from participating in University of Chicago hosted events.

The statement demands an increased budget for the CSRPC, the defunding of the University of Chicago Police Department, and the establishment of a Critical Race Studies Department and a committee on reparations.

“Department through which scholars working centrally on race may be hired and students systematically trained."

In a letter titled “More than Diversity – A Call to Action from University of Chicago Faculty,” the authors cite the failure to hire a Faculty Director for the CSRPC, a $50,000 budget cut, the University’s alliance with campus police, and the University’s connection to Stephen Douglas, as instigating factors that spurred the creation of the letter. The faculty seek to hold the University of Chicago accountable for its “long history of willingly enabling and directly contributing to structural racism.”

Demands included a $2 million budget for the CSRPC as well as complete “autonomy” in all decision making. This sum would “secure the staff and operating budget; sponsor community and activists fellows’ programs; provide financial support for the pursuing of the Mellon projects; provide resources to build a race core for undergraduates; support students faculty and staff in research, mentorship and teaching endeavors.”

The coalition requires that the University of Chicago establish a Department of Critical Race Studies. Fulfillment of this request would provide a “Department through which scholars working centrally on race may be hired and students systematically trained." They note the absence of this department as “egregious,” noting that the University of Chicago “stands alone” and that previous University of Chicago Provosts have “actively discouraged the formation of such a Department.”

Faculty also demand “the incorporation of ‘equity’ as an explicitly stated objective” of the University of Chicago. The drafters say this “will require that each body committed to diversity at the university employ an equity analysis that shapes their agenda and informs their goals.”

The document calls for the defunding of the University of Chicago Police Department. The letter says, “for students of color and black residents on the South Side, the expansive jurisdiction and policing powers of the UCPD do not enhance their safety.” The coalition has allied with the #CareNotCops campaign and UChicago United to advocate for “the safety and livelihoods of students, staff, faculty, and community members.”

On Oct. 1, UChicago United, a “Coalition of UChicago's POC students + orgs,” displayed a banner that read “UChicago, Kill the Cop in Your Head, #ETHNICSTUDIESNOW.”

Goldman To Pay $2.8BN In Long-Awaited 1MDB Settlement Deal; Asian Unit To Plead Guilty

Update (1330ET): WSJ is now reporting that Goldman will pay a total of $2.2 billion plus an additional $600 million (some of which has already been paid to foreign regulators) as part of a deferred prosecution agreement with the DoJ. As part of the deal, one of the bank's Asian units will plead guilty to charges in the US.

The US-based parent company meanwhile will be bound by a DPA that could allow prosecutors to target the bank with criminal penalties if the agreement is violated.

On the bright side (for Goldman), the deal won't require the bank to hire an independent monitor, an extremely costly process (as WSJ pointed out, the bank is still making quarterly updates to the monitor it was forced to hire in the wake of claims it deliberately sold customers worthless mortgage bonds during the run-up to the crisis).

The settlement will be announced later this week.

Goldman Sachs is reportedly on the cusp of settling one of the biggest criminal cases involving a Wall Street bank since the financial crisis: According to a Bloomberg News report published late Monday evening, the Vampire Squid has reached a tentative agreement with the DoJ to pay more than $2 billion in penalties - a figure that BBG noted is "broadly in line with analysts expectations" - and - here's the key bit - allows the bank to avoid all criminal penalties.

That last bit is especially important, because, as we've chronicled over the past few years, many of the bank's top executives appeared to have been personally involved with the deal, which was initially brought in by Tim Leissner, formerly the bank's top man in Southeast Asia, before he was suspended over the deal, before agreeing to cooperate with the Feds against his former employer (where he reportedly told authorities about the endemic "culture of corruption" at play within the bank).

Former FDA head says the US is entering the 'biggest wave' of the coronavirus pandemic and calls Trump 'problematic' for holding large rallies

The former commissioner of the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) says the US is entering the 'biggest wave' of the coronavirus pandemic.

Dr Scott Gottlieb, who ran the agency from May 2017 to April 2019, said the increasing numbers of cases and hospitalizations present a huge challenge to the country without a vaccine.

'We're going to have to endure this wave of spread right now,' he said on CBS's Face the Nation on Sunday.

'And it's probably likely to be the biggest wave that we endure without the benefit of a vaccinated population.'

Gottlieb told host Margaret Brennan that 42 states are seeing a rise in the number of hospitalizations and 45 states are experiencing growing epidemics.

According to the COVID Tracking Project, a little more than 37,000 coronavirus patients were hospitalized as of Wednesday.

While that number is well below the peak of about 60,000 in April, it is the highest figure seen since August.

This month, at least six states - Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Wyoming - reported record hospitalizations.

'There's really no backstop against the spread that we're seeing,' Gottlieb said.

The former commissioner said it is alarming to see the uptick despite several states keeping mitigation measures in place such as mask mandates and social distancing.

'If we weren't taking those steps, if people weren't wearing masks generally and some states weren't adhering to some mitigation tactics and we weren't testing and tracing, then we'd have much worse spread,' he said.

The rise comes as the US prepares to vote in the November 3 presidential election - just two weeks away.

More that 18 million Americans have casted their ballots already, but many are preparing to vote in person.

Gottlieb says it is safe to go to polling places as long as people wear high-quality face coverings such as a surgical mask or an N95 mask.

President Donald Trump, who is campaigning for reelection, has been holding large rallies with thousands in attendance - and most not wearing masks.

Gottlieb said this is 'problematic' and criticized the White House's response to the pandemic.

'They've come out against universal masking. They've come out against testing asymptomatic and mildly symptomatic people,' Gottlieb said of the Trump administration.

'They say testing should be reserved just to the vulnerable. They want businesses and schools reopened, as we all do, and they're against targeted mitigation like closing restaurants.

'There was criticism of New York when New York kept the restaurants closed. So it begs the question, what is the strategy? And I think the strategy is just to endure the spread until we get to that vaccine.'

Dr Anthony Fauci, the nation's top infectious disease expert, has said that a vaccine will likely not be available to the general public until spring 2021.

Facebook suspends account of Ukrainian lawmaker and Rudy Giuliani associate who made claims about a second laptop linked to Hunter Biden

Facebook on Monday suspended the account of a Ukrainian lawmaker who had made claims about a second laptop linked to Hunter Biden.

Andrii Derkach posted to Facebook on Friday to say there is a 'second laptop' involving evidence of corruption and connected to the Bidens, The Daily Beast reported.

After suspending his account Facebook told the site in a statement: 'We removed this account and this Page for violating our policy against the use of our platform by people engaged in election-focused influence operations.'

Last week, the New York Post published emails and photographs that the outlet claimed were contained on a laptop owned by Hunter Biden. The messages suggested that Hunter had arranged for a top executive at Ukrainian energy company Burisma to meet his father.

Biden's campaign and a lawyer for Hunter Biden said they had no record of such a meeting taking place. They have not addressed the authenticity of the emails.

Derkach is one of Rudy Giuliani's principal contacts and was mentioned in an August intelligence assessment that described a concerted Russian effort to disparage Biden. A Treasury Department sanction announcement from last month characterized Derkach as an 'active Russian agent for over a decade.'

He was sanctioned by the Treasury Department in September for being 'directly or indirectly engaged in, sponsored, concealed, or otherwise been complicit in foreign interference in an attempt to undermine the upcoming 2020 U.S. presidential election'.

Derkach had claimed in a Facebook post to know of a second laptop, used by 'two representatives for the interests of [Burisma founder Mykola] Zlochevsky.' Hunter served on the board of directors at Ukrainian energy company Burisma.

In the post Derkach says that laptop 'was given to Ukrainian law enforcement' and that Burisma representatives were now serving as 'witnesses in criminal proceedings.'

The Ukrainian parliamentarian said: 'The facts that confirm international corruption are stored on the second laptop. This laptop was handed over to Ukrainian law enforcement officers, and the "workers" themselves are now witnesses in criminal proceedings.'

Three Red Banners (Chinese: 三面红旗) was an ideological slogan in the late 1950s which called on the Chinese people to build a socialist state. The "Three Red Banners" also called the "Three Red Flags," consisted of the General Line for socialist construction, the Great Leap Forward and the people's communes.[1][2][3]

After the first Five-Year Plan, the People's Republic of China continued its socialist construction by introducing "Three Red Banners Movement". The General Line directed the Chinese people to "go all out, aim high, and build socialism with greater, faster, better, and more economical results."[2] By the end of 1958, nearly all Chinese peasants had been organized into communes averaging 5000 households each. All privately owned property was taken for or contributed to the communes and people were not allowed to cook their own food and instead ate in communal dining halls. The Great Leap Forward, begun in 1958, was a campaign to rapidly modernize by using China's vast labor resources in agricultural and industrial projects. The Leap instead resulted in economic destruction and tens of millions of famine deaths, and had been mostly abandoned by early 1962. Membership in communes was gradually reduced in the early 1960s, with some private property ownership and enterprise again being allowed. The communes continued until being dismantled in the early 1980s under Deng Xiaoping.

Aided by a series of U.S. court orders and relationships with technology providers in other countries, Microsoft said it its weeklong campaign against the gang running the Trickbot network was heading off a possible source of disruption to the Nov. 3 U.S. vote.

“We’ve taken down most of their infrastructure,” corporate Vice President Tom Burt said in an interview. “Their ability to go and infect targets has been significantly reduced.”

The criminals in charge of Trickbot have infected more than 1 million personal computers, including many inside local governments, according to cybersecurity professionals. They then make deals with other gangs to install ransomware and other malicious programs on the infected machines, security professionals say.

Although there is no evidence that the gang has worked with foreign governments, Burt said he wanted to disrupt Trickbot before the election in case Russian agencies attempted to use it to interfere with voting or cast doubt on the results by manipulating data.

Some security experts who had seen little impact from Microsoft’s initial efforts to combat Trickbot said this week that new control servers being brought online by the gang were getting cut off, making it harder for the group to install new programs on infected computers.

“Disruption operations against Trickbot are currently global in nature and have had success against Trickbot infrastructure,” said Intel 471 Chief Executive Mark Arena. “Regardless, there still is a small number of working controllers based in Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia and Kyrgyzstan that still are able to respond.”

The Trickbot gang is now asking other malware groups to install its software, Arena and others said, and it is expected to rebuild its infrastructure in other ways.

Burt said such efforts to adapt would at least distract the gang from bringing chaos to voting or other local government activity if it had been so inclined.

The International Renaissance Foundation, a part of the Open Society Foundations, was established in Kyiv in April 1990. At the time, Ukraine was still part of the rapidly collapsing Soviet Union, placing the new foundation at the forefront of the effort by George Soros, the founder and chair of the Open Society Foundations, to use his fortune to assist the former Communist states of Central and Eastern Europe.

The Defense Department has been in talks with a handful of Eastern European countries about deploying thousands of soldiers closer to the Russian border, Defense Secretary Mark Esper said Tuesday in his prepared remarks in an appearance at the Atlantic Council.

In July, Esper announced that the 2nd Cavalry Regiment would be transferred from its home at U.S. Army Garrison Bavaria, Germany, to a stateside post to be determined, as part of withdrawal of nearly 12,000 troops from that country. He had also proposed deploying its infantry and armor troops back to Europe on a rotational basis, and his remarks Tuesday revealed some groundwork already being laid.

“Indeed, since … the signing of the defense cooperation agreement with Poland, my recent meetings with defense ministers from Romania and Bulgaria, and correspondence received from Baltic states, there is now the real opportunity of keeping the 2nd Cavalry Regiment forward in some of these countries on an enduring basis,” Esper said.

A Pentagon spokesman clarified that Esper was referring to an purely rotational presence.

“… the nearly 4,500 members of the 2nd Cavalry Regiment will return to the United States as other Stryker units begin continuous rotations farther east in the Black Sea region, giving us a more enduring presence to enhance deterrence and reassure allies along NATO’s southeastern flank,” Esper said during the July 29 roll-out of his Europe posture plan.

7 Charged In Florida Smuggling Ring That Funneled Thousands Of Flying Squirrels Into South Korea

Earlier this year, Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) officers made the first arrests in a series, which now totals seven suspects and 25 felony charges with additional arrests forthcoming. This group of suspects have been charged with Racketeering, Money Laundering, Scheming to Defraud and other organized criminal laws involving an elaborate organized enterprise to smuggle Florida’s wildlife to interstate and international buyers.

In January 2019, the FWC received a complaint from a concerned citizen about individuals illegally trapping flying squirrels in a rural area of Marion County. Flying squirrels, a protected wild animal in Florida, are sold internationally in the pet trade. Over the next 19 months, FWC Investigators pieced together an elaborate scheme in which flying squirrels were illegally captured by poachers in multiple counties throughout central Florida. The flying squirrels were then sold to a wildlife dealer in Bushnell and were laundered through the licensed business of this dealer, who claimed they were captive bred.

The poachers deployed as many as 10,000 squirrel traps throughout central Florida and as many as 3,600 flying squirrels were captured in less than three years. In three years, the wildlife dealer received as much as $213,800 in gross illegal proceeds. The FWC estimates the international retail value of the poached wildlife will exceed $1 million.

Investigators learned buyers from South Korea would travel to the United States and purchase the flying squirrels from the wildlife dealer in Bushnell. The animals were then driven in rental cars to Chicago, where the source of the animals was further concealed, and the animals were exported to Asia by an unwitting international wildlife exporter. As the operation expanded, couriers from the state of Georgia would take over the transports. One Georgia courier would fly to Orlando, rent a vehicle and drive the animals to Atlanta. A second hired courier would then drive the animals to Chicago. Each of the new participants would not know the identity of the other suspects.

As FWC Investigators monitored the operation, they learned the Florida suspects were dealing in multiple species of poached animals. Protected freshwater turtles and alligators were illegally taken and laundered through other seemingly legitimate licensed businesses. Documents were falsified concealing the true source of the wildlife.

“A State and Federal Task Force was created and was instrumental in accomplishing this operation,” said Maj. Grant Burton, FWC Investigation’s section leader.

At least 14 creators are monetizing the violence-linked conspiracy theory – and Patreon is taking a cut too

Patreon a platform that provides “content creators” with tools to run membership-based subscription services and earn a monthly income is helping QAnon influencers monetize the dangerous conspiracy theory. And it appears the company is cashing in too, taking a 5-12% cut depending on the user’s payment plan even though the content seemingly violates the platform’s terms of use.

Media Matters has identified 14 prominent QAnon content creators on Patreon who are profiting by peddling the violent conspiracy theory.

Patreon’s terms of use conflict with QAnon content

According to Patreon’s terms of use, creators with a “known affiliation with violent or dangerous groups” or “violent hate groups” are not eligible to receive funds through the platform, “no matter the purpose or apparent intention of their Patreon page.” Additionally, “any creator praising or actively supporting these groups or their leaders won’t be allowed on Patreon.”

Patreon’s policy also encompasses calls for violence and glorification of groups “known to support ideologies that would be classified as hate speech” as grounds for removal from the platform.

Even more, the platform claims to “proactively look at some pages and posts on Patreon and review reported pages to identify potential violations of our guidelines,” which “may include looking at what is supported by funds received through Patreon.”

“We can disable your account at our discretion,” Patreon warns creators.

The QAnon conspiracy theory seemingly violates Patreon’s terms of service. It is centered around claims that President Donald Trump is secretly fighting against members of the “deep state” and “pedophiles,” who will supposedly be rounded up and executed soon. These threats and calls for violence targeting Trump’s political opponents are often wildly anti-Semitic. This unfounded conspiracy theory promoting imminent violence against the president’s enemies has been classified by the FBI as a domestic terror threat and has been directly linked to multiple killings, a kidnapping, and even terrorism.

The majority of the QAnon “creators” on Patreon identified below have already been banned from other social media platforms because of the inherent threats, repeated acts of violence, and frequent misinformation campaigns closely associated with the conspiracy theory. The Daily Dot reported on the prevalence of QAnon content on Patreon in August, but the platform has yet to make substantial changes to enforce its policies against supporters of the destructive conspiracy theory.

How Patreon profits from QAnon

Despite the blatant violence and frequent racism associated with QAnon, Patreon has yet to crack down on promoters of the conspiracy theory on its platform. In fact, the company is even profiting from it.

Patreon provides very little transparency about how much money QAnon influencers are taking in or how many “patrons” are subscribed to their platforms because creators can choose to restrict the information visible on their page. However, according to Patreon’s platform fee policy, the company takes 5%, 8%, or 12% of the creator’s monthly income depending on their payment plan, as well as varying “payment processing fees” and “payout fees.” Creators active before May 2019 are held to a flat pricing fee of 5%.

For instance, QAnon account RedPill78 was recently removed from YouTube but has 674 supporters on Patreon and reports receiving $4,065 per month. This comes to approximately $48,780 per year, of which a minimum of $2,439 goes to Patreon.

SGT Report, another QAnon creator that was recently removed from YouTube, has 1,445 patrons with a fee of $5 per month, meaning the creator is accumulating $7,225 per month and roughly $86,700 per year. Under its platform fee policy, Patreon’s annual minimum cut is $4,335.

It is impossible to provide an accurate total figure for how much money Patreon is making as a platform from the conspiracy theory because many QAnon creators have their total patron numbers or monthly incomes hidden. However, it is clear that Patreon has enabled QAnon influencers to both spread the dangerous conspiracy theory and profit while doing it. Even worse, Patreon is seemingly ignoring these creators’ clear terms-of-use violations while taking a cut of those profits from QAnon followers.

Patreon must enforce its own terms of service and remove QAnon-affiliated creators or risk being further implicated in the spread of the violent conspiracy theory. This action is long overdue.

Governments worldwide will offer citizens an alluring way out by promising to eliminate all personal debts (mortgages, loans, credit cards, etc.)

In the U.S. this idea has already been implemented in 2020 through the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) – a guaranteed loan program that forgives the debt if the borrower follows specific instructions. Under an impending economic collapse, any and all loans will be forgiven if the citizen agrees to participate in the “World Debt Reset Program, funded by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). In order to get all debts forgiven, citizens will have to forfeit ownership of any and all private property, accept a universal basic income, and enroll in the covid-19 and covid-21 vaccination schedule.

ICE Arrests 54 In NYC Area, Targets Illegal Immigrants In Sanctuary Cities

NEW YORK—U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s (ICE) Enforcement Removal Operations (ERO) officers completed an immigration enforcement activity, which resulted in the arrest of 54 immigration violators throughout the New York City Metropolitan Area, and the neighboring counties of Nassau, Suffolk, Dutchess, Ulster and Westchester.

The nationwide, weeklong immigration enforcement activity, which concluded Oct. 9, focused on targeting and arresting individuals in sanctuary cities.

“ICE continues to protect communities by taking criminal aliens off the streets regardless of any locality’s cooperation policies – which is part of our congressionally mandated mission,” said ICE Senior Official Performing the Duties of the Director Tony H. Pham. “Officers and agents of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement are sworn federal law enforcement officers who enforce U.S. immigration laws created by Congress to keep this country safe.”

Individuals arrested in New York were citizens and nationals from the following countries: China, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Grenada, Guyana, Honduras, Ireland, Jamaica, Mexico, Moldova, Mozambique, Pakistan, Panama, Peru and St. Lucia.

The New York arrests included charges filed for assault, sexual assault against a child, lewd and lascivious acts upon a child, rape and criminal possession of a loaded firearm. Other charges include criminal possession of stolen property, driving while intoxicated, robbery and grand larceny.

“Let us not gloss over the fact that the vast majority of the individuals arrested during this operation have criminal histories. It’s frightening that New York City politicians created laws that force local law enforcement agencies to release dangerous criminals back into the community despite the seriousness of their crimes,” said Thomas R. Decker, ICE ERO New York field office director.

Of the more than 50 individuals ERO officers arrested, more than 30 were released from local law enforcement custody with active ICE detainers; eight had outstanding removal orders; eight were previously removed or deported; five were criminally prosecuted; two were active gang members, and one was a foreign fugitive. All but two of the individuals arrested had criminal histories in the U.S.

All individuals arrested during the immigration enforcement activity will remain in ICE custody pending the outcome of their removal proceedings before an immigration judge.

ICE officially announced the results of the enforcement activity on Oct. 16, but one Manhattan resident’s arrest garnered considerable media coverage in New York prior to the announcement.

After opting not to upload Joe Rogan Experience (JRE) episodes involving controversial guests like Alex Jones and Milo Yiannopoulos, Spotify has ripped down multiple QAnon podcasts.

Following a recent report about the presence of QAnon podcasts on Spotify, company officials removed four programs – X22 Report, Praying Medic, Indigenous Mike, and Pardon My American – from the streaming service. The podcasts no longer appear in the platform’s search results, though it’s unclear whether other QAnon shows remain available to stream, or whether QAnon programs will now be barred from Spotify at the outset.

Ahead of the quick-approaching presidential election, other prominent companies have also taken steps to curb the prevalence and influence of those associated with the three-year-old conspiracy theory. Facebook banned all QAnon pages and groups two weeks back, on the heels of numerous case-by-case account prohibitions earlier this year. And YouTube, for its part, took aim at users and videos associated with the entity “by removing more conspiracy theory content used to justify real-world violence” on Monday, October 5th.

For Spotify, which has decidedly less experience in content moderation than YouTube and Facebook, the move is indicative of the far-reaching challenges to come as more podcasters – and podcast fans – begin to utilize the platform. And in an immediate sense, the Stockholm-based streaming service is already grappling with free expression-related difficulties.

Recent weeks’ Joe Rogan Experience headlines have largely overshadowed the initially noted absence of controversial episodes on Spotify, though both appear to stem from the same underlying disagreement and criticism (from some listeners and employees themselves). Stated concisely, the overarching causes of the pushback against JRE episode 1,509, with author Abigail Shrier, are set to generate additional conflict moving forward – heightening the significance of Spotify’s content-moderation role.

More broadly, the company isn’t without similar obstacles on the music front, which also seem poised to grow in quantity and scope. A Jewish advocacy group asked Spotify CEO Daniel Ek last month to remove the antisemitic music of rapper Freeze Corleone. Thus far, the popular (in the artist’s native France) content has remained live despite containing lyrics such as “Build an empire like young Adolf, determined with great ambitions like young Adolf.”

On an alike, albeit much lighter note, searching for “Joe Rogan Experience” on Spotify returns results including a two-minute song (by one “Best UFO Footage”) of the exact same name. The group doesn’t seem to have a social media profile or an official website, and the placement has undoubtedly brought with it considerable exposure.

An explosive new book claims that Britain’s Prince Andrew went to a topless photoshoot with seven or eight Russian models and an alleged sex-trafficked teen at Jeffrey Epstein’s Virgin Islands hideaway.

Florida Democrat Adam Christensen published a screenshot of a Google Maps web page that listed the home address of Republican congressional candidate Kat Cammack on Sunday. He wrote the tweet in response to an earlier Cammack tweet that said activists were protesting at a driveway located on her private property. Christensen posted the image—which featured a bird’s-eye view of Cammack’s home—to argue that the activists were actually protesting on a public street.

While Twitter has deleted Christensen’s tweet, according to the Cammack campaign, the Democrat has remained unapologetic on Twitter. When a Republican consultant reproached Christensen for the incident, the candidate responded, “You make me laugh, I really needed this today. THANK YOU.”

Hunter Biden’s business associates spoke candidly in emails about Hunter Biden’s role in the business, particularly as it related to foreign ventures, apparently viewing the Biden name as a form of “currency,” and bragging that they had a “direct…pipeline” to the Obama-Biden Administration.

In another email, Hunter Biden’s associates touted Hunter’s access to the White House and contrasted his willingness to “take on risk” with that of Chris Heinz—then-Secretary of State John Kerry’s stepson and a close friend of Biden and Archer—who was uncomfortable with some of their potential partnerships.

In October 2013, Hunter Biden’s associates (including Devon Archer) discussed which one of their corporate vehicles would be appropriate for a new deal they were working on. Archer noted their need to use a “Rosemont Seneca SPV” (also known as a special purpose vehicle) because Rosemont Capital was too close to the Heinz family and because using an SPV could “bring Hunter into the mix.” Archer explained his desire “to leverage Hunter more” in a way that didn’t involve Heinz, who Archer called “much more risk averse.”

Another benefit of the Rosemont Seneca SPV was, per an October 5 email from Hunter Biden and Devon Archer’s business associate Bevan Cooney to Archer, it “would be good to put some honey in Hunter’s pocket.” That same day Archer responded: “Agreed. I also have more autonomy with that company as I own it with Hunter and he’s willing to take on risk… Hunter will work if we need him too [sic] as well.”

Five days later, Biden’s business associate Jason Galanis confirmed to Archer that he had changed the corporate references in the proposal to include a Hunter Biden-controlled firm. Archer replied, clearly pleased. “Perfect. Let’s just keep to that. We get the Biden lift and stay out of Heinz panties.” Archer had noted he would use Rosemont Seneca Partners instead of Rosemont Capital, in which Heinz held a stake. Hunter Biden and Devon Archer’s Rosemont Seneca Partners would play a pivotal role in their future deals.

Economic: Marxism is derived from a false description of the origination of money incomes in human civilization. Marx, following Adam Smith, believed that in the "early and rude state of society", if there ever was such a time, that the very first monetary incomes earned were wages, and that later on with the introduction of people acting in the capacity of "capitalists", there was a reduction in wages and introduction of profits. This is the conceptual framework of Marx's exploitation theory which is what EVERY Marxist institution depends on and takes for granted as true. The reality is that PROFITS were the first monetary income. In the "early and rude state of society" people made products directly from the material world around them, and sold them as commodities. The monetary incomes earned on the sale of commodities is product sales revenues, not wages. Since there were originally no money costs of production, all of the sales revenues were profit. Then, once people became wealthy enough and saved money for investment, instead of using it to consume right away, money began being used to pay people not for their commodities, which requires land and means of production of their own, but for only their labor. This was the onset of wages. Wages represented a monetary cost to DEDUCT from product sales revenues, which used to be all profit, but was now less than 100% by whatever extent wages were paid.

[Imagine if the world knew the reality that the rise of capitalism was in fact the end of the all profit era and beginning of the wage earning class era, that the rise in capitalism brought about a FALL in profit incomes, not the other way around as per Marx!]

Three Red Banners(Chinese: 三面红旗) was an ideological slogan in the late 1950s which called on the Chinese people to build a socialist state. The "Three Red Banners" also called the "Three Red Flags," consisted of the General Line for socialist construction, the Great Leap Forward and the people's communes.[1][2][3]
