Johnny Wactor an actor best known for appearing in nearly 200 episodes of "General Hospital" has died, TMZ has learned.

Wactor was shot and killed in downtown Los Angeles early Saturday morning, his mother Scarlett tells TMZ.She says Johnny was with a coworker when they saw three men messing with Johnny's car. While authorities haven't release his name, this matches the description of an incident where three suspects allegedly tried to steal a catalytic converter.

Scarlett says she was told Johnnydidn't try to fight or stop them ... but, the men shot him anyway before taking off.According to police info, paramedics rushed to the scene just after 3 AM PT. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Police have not provided a description of the suspects ... but, Johnny's mother says she hopes they'll be found quickly.

Johnny got his start in acting back in 2007 on the hit Lifetime show "Army Wives," playing a few different roles before working steadily over the next two decades.

Some of his bigger credits include "Westworld," "The OA," "NCIS," "Station 19," "Criminal Minds," and "Hollywood Girl."

Many of Johnny's fans will remember him for his time on 'GH' where he played Brando Corbin - married to drug addict Sasha Corbin in the series. He played the role from 2020 until his character was written off the program in 2022.

Wactor's mother remembers him as a loving young man ... adding his death leaves a huge hole in the family's heart.

He's survived by his mother, and his younger brothers Lance and Grant. He was 37.

No deal. That was the message for World Health Organization (W.H.O.) chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus on Friday after his proposed global pandemic treaty was rejected after two years of closed-door meetings in Geneva, Switzerland.

AP reports Roland Driece, co-chair of W.H.O.’s negotiating board for the agreement, acknowledged countries were unable to deliver an agreed proposal. W.H.O. had hoped a final draft treaty could be agreed on at its yearly meeting of health ministers starting Monday in Geneva.

“We are not where we hoped we would be when we started this process,” he said, adding that finalizing an international agreement on how to respond to a pandemic was critical “for the sake of humanity”even as a host of countries disagreed with the basic principle that unelected, unaccountable, health bureaucrats could somehow decide major global decisions on government policies.

Earlier this month,U.S. Republican senators wrote to the Biden administration, arguing the draft treaty focused on issues like “shredding intellectual property rights” and “supercharging the WHO.” They urged Biden not to sign off.

Driece said the World Health Assembly next week would urge participants to make “the right decisions to take this process forward” to one day reach a pandemic agreement “because we need it.”

Addressing a sullen final day of negotiations, the W.H.O. chief insisted, “This is not a failure.”

“We will try everything — believing that anything is possible — and make this happen because the world still needs a pandemic treaty,” Tedros said. “Because many of the challenges that caused a serious impact during COVID-19 still exist.”

Despite the desire of W.H.O. career bureaucrats to push ahead with the scheme,Britain’s department of health had already said it would only agree to an accord if it adhered to British national interest and sovereignty.

The co-chairs of the treaty-drafting process didn’t specify what caused the logjam, but diplomats have said vast differences remained over sharing of information about pathogens that emerge and the sharing of technologies to fight them, the AP report sets out.

Precious Matsoso, the other co-chair of W.H.O.’s negotiating board for the pandemic treaty, said there was still an opportunity to reach agreement and efforts would go on — despite the inability to reach a deal on Friday.

“We will make sure that this happens, because when the next pandemic hits, it will not spare us,” she said.

At this point in time finding Donald Trump guilty of anything, any crime at all, is just a matter of Judge Juan Merchan following through on expectations.

The entire world is watching what happens in New York City through the prism of ridiculous lawfare and politics. No intellectually honest observers believe this is a trial about substance, guilt, criminal activity or innocence therein. The illusion of a nonprejudicial justice system has long past and everyone can see the extreme politicization taking place in Judge Merchan’s courtroom.

Finding President Trump guilty of a crime is seemingly a foregone conclusion. Even the White House is saying Joe Biden will deliver remarks to the nation from the official executive office as soon as the guilty verdict is delivered {SEE HERE}.

Judge Merchan has yet to release the public version of jury instructions, however he previously decided last week that the jurors do not need to agree on a predicate crime in order to fund President Trump guilty of trying to hide one.

Japan’s top cancer doctor recently made headlines for openly admitting what many American doctors have been too afraid to say out loud: the COVID-19 mRNA vaccines are “the work of evil” and have amounted to what is “essentially murder.”

The comments were made by Dr. Masanori Fukushima in a recent interview. The decorated oncologist set up the first outpatient cancer clinic at Kyoto University in Japan and was responsible for the first course at the school in pharmacoepidemiology.

He cited one particularly alarming side effect that the mainstream media in the U.S. hasn’t reported on – the prevalence of “turbo cancers” that were “previously unseen by doctors.” He said that these cancers started appearing after the rollouts of the vaccines and have been progressing so quickly that they are often in stage 4 by the time doctors diagnose them.

He added that the jump in these cancers has been accompanied by increases in excess mortality from cancer in general to a degree that cannot be explained simply by missed treatments or screenings during COVID-19-related lockdowns.

He also pointed to sudden deaths seen in individuals shortly after receiving the vaccines, such as a 28-year-old man whose wife found him dead five days after his second dose of Pfizer’s mRNA vaccine. It’s a story that is all too common these days, even in people with no history of health problems.

He said: “It’s serious. It’s essentially murder. In the end, I want to state clearly that this is my view.”

For Dr. Fukushima, it is no surprise that the countries that launched the most aggressive COVID-19 vaccination campaigns are seeing the highest rates of both infections and deaths, like Israel.

“Israel led in early and widespread vaccination but also had the highest death and infection rates. The less aggressively vaccinated areas saw less harm,” he said, adding that “Israel was quick to halt the vaccine.”

He said that the Japanese government has already documented more than 2,000 deaths connected to the shot, an estimate that he believes is low, along with numerous others who need medical care for serious health issues related to the jab.

“There are tens of thousands of people who must see a doctor because of vaccine-related issues,” he said.

He estimates at nearly a third of them are dealing with issues like chronic fatigue syndrome and myalgic encephalomyelitis, and the problem is only going to get worse as numerous diseases have been spiking since the vaccine rollout. Unfortunately, there’s a chance that some of these patients may not get the attention and care they need.

“It’s as if we’ve opened Pandora’s box… We must take these damages seriously and address them earnestly. Any efforts to dismiss these damages as if they didn’t happen are frankly the work of evil. This is a quintessential example of the evil practice of science,” he asserted.

Dr. Fukushima also had some harsh words for the mainstream media and its failure to report on the dangers of the vaccines. He also called out the media for calling vaccine critics anti-science “heretics” and said those who silenced these individuals are the ones going against science, adding that they are “more akin to faith, hysteria or even cult behavior.”

China Defies Global Copper Squeeze With Near-Record Production

The global copper market is gripped by fears of a shortage, which has propelled prices to record levels and sparked a $49 billion takeover battle. But in China, the world’s biggest producer and consumer of the refined metal, there’s more than enough to go around. At the center of that conundrum are the nation’s ever-expanding copper smelters. The industry is maintaining production at near-record levels — defying a scarcity of raw materials — as higher prices unlock more scrap metal for processing. Smelters had pledged to reduce capacity after their fees collapsed because of a supply squeeze on the imports of ore they use as feedstock. The prospect of insufficient copper in China is just one of the pillars supporting a barnstorming rally that took the metal above $11,000 a ton for the first time at the start of last week. But the cuts haven’t happened and China’s faltering economy isn’t able to absorb the excess.

The mismatch between supply and demand has become more glaring in recent days, with prices retreating to just above $10,300 a ton. Although that’s still a 21% gain for the year, it suggests that as long as China remains oversupplied, copper will struggle to make further headway. The availability of scrap from discarded pots, pipes and wires has risen quickly after copper prices surged, said Liang Kaihui, an analyst with Shanghai Metals Market. Fabricators have been busy turning that into blister, a semi-processed version of the metal, and feeding it back to smelters, he said, where it’s used as a substitute for the overseas ore that’s now in short supply. The abundance of scrap is seen in its discount to refined copper, which blew out to 4,615 yuan ($637) a ton last week, the widest in at least eight years, according to SMM.

The smelting industry, meanwhile, keeps adding capacity.As long as they’re profitable, individual firms prefer to defend market share at the expense of margins. Local governments also want them to keep churning out metal so that they can meet their economic growth targets and maintain employment levels.

China’s PMI surveys for May will likely show manufacturing continuing to grow at a modest pace, supported by solid production, according to Bloomberg Economics.

What is good for defense contractors is not necessarily good for the military, nor the taxpayer, they are supposed to serve. Consider the F-35 program, which was supposed to deliver a jet that would make all other military jets obsolete. It has yet to do so, and the failures of the program sustainability speak to the idea that we need diversity in our procurement.

For one thing, too many F-35 sit idle. At a recent congressional hearing, Air Force Secretary Frank Kendall claimed that “55% is the number we have for operational availability” of F-35s. That percentage sounds low; imagine if your car would get you to work only 55% of the time. You would be looking for another option!

But things are even worse than that for the F-35 program. Under further questioning, Kendall and his team admitted that fewer than a third of F-35s are “fully operational.” That tracks with a report from the Project on Government Oversight, which reported this year: “The Pentagon’s top testing office, the Director, Operational Test & Evaluation (DOT&E), recently released its office’s annual report, which showed that the F-35 program has a fleet-wide full mission capable rate of only 30%.”

Georgia prosecutor Fani Willis appeals after judge drops multiple Trump charges

Trump's legal team has appealed to have Willis removed from the case due to her relationship with special prosecutor Nathan Wade

The prosecutor in former President Donald Trump's racketeering case in Georgia is appealing a judge's decision to drop multiple charges against the former commander in chief.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee previously ruled in March that six charges against Trump and his co-defendants lacked sufficient detail and should be dismissed.

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis filed a notice of appeal against that decision on Thursday. The prosecutor did not indicate why the dismissal should be reversed.

Three of the six counts set to be dropped include Trump as a defendant. The original indictment included 41 counts between the former president and his co-defendants.

Trump's legal team is appealing to remove Willis from the case following allegations that she had an "improper" affair with special prosecutor Nathan Wade, whom she hired to help prosecute the case.

McAfee ruled that the romantic relationship between the two prosecutors did not compromise the integrity of the trial, though a Georgia appeals court has agreed to hear an appeal on this decision.

Willis won her primary election on Tuesday by a sweeping margin over her Democratic challenger.

"Tonight they delivered a strong and a powerful message," Willis said in her acceptance speech. "They want a district attorney that believes everyone deserves to be safe. And everyone is entitled to some dignity. And it's a message that's pissing folks off. But there is no one above the law in this country. Nor is there anyone beneath it."

Georgia's GOP-controlled Senate voted in January to form a special committee to investigate Willis amid the revelations of her romantic affair with Wade.

Previous state Senate committee hearings revealed that oversight of Willis' $36 million budget was "like the Wild West, very little control," State Sen. Bill Cowsert, a Republican representing Athens and chairman of the committee, said.

At that hearing earlier this month, Fulton County Commissioner Robb Pitts and Fulton County Chief Financial Officer Sharon Whittmore testified that Willis has broad discretion over those taxpayer dollars, including whether to hire a special prosecutor and how much they should be paid.

Pitts also testified that Willis did not have to get any pre-approval for hiring an independent special counsel to assist with her activities.

A female teacher at an "elite" New York City prep school has resigned after accusations that she sexually abused a student have surfaced.

Dalton School teacher Mara Naaman, 50, was put on leave after receiving a letter "written on behalf of a former student" accusing the instructor of child sex abuse on May 2. Four days later, Naaman resigned from her teaching position at the $61,000-a-year school.

The alleged sexual misconduct occurred between 2020 and 2022.

Dalton School principal Jose De Jesús sent out an email to parents on May 9 regarding the "serious matter."

"We are only providing the name of the teacher so anyone with relevant information can provide such information," the principal wrote. "Our priority is determining the veracity of these claims and determining whether there are other allegations of abuse from other members of the community."

The Dalton School filed a police report and hired a firm specializing in harassment and sexual abuse to conduct an investigation, according to the letter from school administrators.

The New York Post reported that the New York Police Department "did not address repeated questions regarding the alleged incident." However, the NYPD noted that it takes sexual assault and rape cases "extremely seriously" and encouraged any victims to file a report with the department.

Naaman taught English literature to ninth through 12th graders at the Dalton School, which is located in Manhattan’s Upper East Side. She was also a "house advisor" at the K-12 school and responsible for "creating a safe space for conversations around personal responsibility," according to the school's website.

The school's website purportedly stated, "House Advisors not only advise on academic matters but are a 'sounding board' for students on all matters, including social and emotional issues."

Before teaching at the Dalton School, Naaman reportedly worked at Hofstra University, Columbia University, and Williams College in Massachusetts.

217 year old Wiley science publisher has reportedly "peer reviewed" more than 11,000 papers that were determined to be fake without ever noticing. The papers were referred to as "naked gobbledygook sandwiches", Australian blogger Jo Nova wrote on her blog last week.

"It’s not just a scam, it’s an industry," she said. "Who knew, academic journals were a $30 billion dollar industry?"

According to Nova's post, professional cheating services are employing AI to craft seemingly "original" academic papers by shuffling around words. For instance, terms like "breast cancer" morphed into "bosom peril," and a "naïve Bayes" classifier turns into "gullible Bayes."

Similarly, in one paper, an ant colony was bizarrely rebranded as an "underground creepy crawly state."

The misuse of terminology extends to machine learning, where a 'random forest' is whimsically translated to 'irregular backwoods' or 'arbitrary timberland'.

Nova writes that shockingly, these papers undergo peer review without any rigorous human oversight, allowing egregious errors, like converting 'local average energy' to 'territorial normal vitality', to slip through.

Dukes County court records show that on April 2, a petition was filed by a Jared Ravizza Jones to change his name to Jared Jones. It is unclear where that case stands.

Nothing, not even an avalanche of cognitive decline can prevent him from honoring the greatest ‘civil rights’ hero of our time—Mr. George ‘Fentanyl’ Floyd.

But why let facts get in the way of a good politcal PR stunt, right?

In what can only be described as a wildly offensive and out-of-touch display, Joe’s handlers lavished praise on a man infamous for sticking a loaded gun in a pregnant woman’s belly and threatening her life, all while his pals ransacked and robbed her home. No one who’s capable of that type of sickening violence deserves to be glorified or idolized. Period. But Biden is right about one thing. Floyd deserved more; his help—family should have placed him into a drug rehabilitation and anger management—to try to become a productive member of society. Instead, his actions killed him and tore this nation apart.

Speaking of the fake 20 dollar bill – Floyd was notorious for spreading counterfeit bills, a fact that was completely glossed over. Prosecutors merely shrugged their shoulders, suggesting Floyd should have just been ticketed and sent on.

• In all fairness, Floyd might have chosen not to break the law and pass counterfeit money, he might have avoided ingesting enough fentanyl to take down a herd of elephants, and he could have cooperated with the police. There’s a hefty list of ‘could haves’ and ‘should haves’ in this case—enough blame to go around. And all of that, among so many other things, is what makes Biden’s message so incredibly stomach-turning. And right on cue, Biden caught an earful from furious Americans disgusted by his message.

Today, I join all those who loved him and all those touched by the civil rights movement he inspired in remembering the tragedy and injustice of his death.

He changed the world.

And speaking of lighting – have you noticed how Team Biden doesn’t light up his social media for innocent, decent Americans who’ve been murdered in cold blood by illegals. Why, you might ask? Because those poor victims don’t fit into his morally reprehensible and twisted political agenda. And despite Biden’s major cognitive issues, he’s still able to act on ‘auto pilot,’ when it comes to carrying out his highly divisive, woke politics.

Today doesn’t bring anything remarkable to mark, other than a reminder that Derek Chauvin is locked up on a murder sentence without actually murdering anyone.
