I have a question. I'd like to shoot videos for a youtube channel (going to teach my hobby) and I also love sky watching at night. Taking VIDEO, not pictures or time lapse, but video.
I understand that you need a camera that has sensitive low-light features for it to be able to actually see the stars in good quality. The youtube stuff will be easy, any camera can handle that. The reason im leaning towards a gopro 4 black is that it's small, compact, good battery, and it advertises some special improved low-light night time settings. Ive seen the videos of its night-lapse which is beautiful but im looking to capture video. Like a 30 seconds clip of a shooting star and/or satellite.
Can anyone begin to point me in the right direction? Thank you

Actually, seeing stars in good quality can be achieved in different way.
If the camera is on tripod it is easily possible to average the adjacent frames to reduce noise. Each doubling the number of frames to average equals one stop.
It seems really easy to me. It may even be possible that Magic Lantern has it.
