what are you doing to spread the forests are fight back against deserts?

Personally I am digging waterholes and planting tall trees with large canopies such as redwoods in my local area. Redwoods are great because they are fire retardant and fast growing.

Lol can you believe there are laws against this in some places? People are so Jewish about water scarcity now that the state will snatch your water rights if you’re “wasting” them on things like waterholes for wildlife instead of drinking wells for cattle.

Plant forests where they are needed. In the Great Basin we are doing controlled burns and getting rid of a lot of the nutrient killing juniper trees so the sagebrush can grow back

I kill invasive species like scotch broom, ivy and Himalian blackberries.

I also water seedlings on public property that are less than a year old during droughts.
