Funny thing, I have a personal game project that needed to have an otter character.
I haven't had much luck looking great refs before I stumbled on this board by accident.
I've been saving some cool pics on this board, now I have a decent library to draw from for the design. Thanks Anons!

A 3rd person shooter/platformer.
You gotta master the platforming to get an edge in the combat through positioning and jukes.
Swimming through rivers gives you a speed advantage and you can use the momentum to leap out of the water for bullet time.
Weaponry is varied and situational, and I want to make sure to balance it to discourage cover shooting as much as possible because that's a lame way to play. Clever, skillful and tactical movement should be as important for the battle as the weapn itself.
