This describes most people who are sheltered from strife or conflict by living in a prosperous civilization. People forget their instincts and invest their energy into fulfilling their trivial vices and animal urges.
This describes most of us on the board as well. If we were struggling for survival, engaging our instincts the way they were designed for, we would not be addicted to internet porn.
