Honestly, both of them are pretty lousy "flavors" for a pie. Cinnamon-apple? That's okay. Just cinnamon on its own? Well… what the fuck is in the rest of the pie? To say nothing of the fact that making a pie taste like butter is easy, but making it taste like scotch isn't, especially because "butterscotch" as a candy is a completely artificial flavor.
Now, either a butterscotch or cinnamon CAKE would be sensible. In which case I'd go with cinnamon.

You could do a cinnamon or butterscotch custard pie. That being said, the way the pie is pictured is with two crusts, which isn't how a custard pie is made. All that being said, if we were talking about a custard pie, I'd go with butterscotch. It's a flavor that can stand on its own, whereas cinnamon would need to be paired with something.

You're correct. She'll 'remember' your favorite and 'guess' it if you somehow double back and have that conversation again. But, to be fair, you don't necessarily have to die- holding ESC and starting back up will also prompt the recall.
Anyone know if this is also the case with a save file restart?

snail pies are far from patrician. they're pleb tier common food that doesn't taste far off from beef when cooked correctly. toriel must be stronk from all the protein.

The balcony overlooking the city, it's a straight drop down. Toriel goes through there, so two and two together, she climbs up that wall with one arm while carrying groceries. So she can run lightning fast and can one arm rock climb a brick wall.

Same attack and defense as Asgore just less health, she's a lower level character who put all her stats into strength and goes light armor. If the goats can't nuke humans with fireballs then they can still grapple a human and break their necks on a wall.

this begs the question. the entire game it's noted humans are stronger than monsters in general. so why do all the monsters seem rather strong

It'd be a lot easier to stab both my parents to death as an 8 year old compared to how much damage Toriel can take without even making an effort to stop you. She and Ascuck could grab you with one hand and stop you completely its probably that monsters don't want to kill yet there's Undyne.

It's not that humans are stronger than monsters, it's that humans are more inclined to violence. Since monsters, being made mostly of magic, take more damage from the intent behind an attack than its actual force, a psychopath is more dangerous to them than a navy SEAL.

Here's what I thought at first, and never actually changed my mind. Remember the writing on the wall that this basically comes from.
Imagine not being that one particularly determined human but just some random normie human going through underground.
Imagine a blind permdeath run. Not knowing the game at all and if you die once you can't try again.
Imagine dodging being an actual physical effort that can exhaust you, taking hits actually causing injuries that slow you down for the rest of the time (or worse) and attacking actually meaning to run all the way to the monster and striking them with a stick/knife
How many of you would make it? How many of you would make it if you were a small child and scared to death throughout the entirety?
How many would even make it past the tutorial?
My guess is none. What makes it possible for the one live human we actually see in the game to beat all those monsters is determination. Who's to say that wasn't the case on the surface too?
Regarding every fight, the monsters only consciously remember the current timeline, which means the timeline in which you haven't been killed. They don't remember all your deaths, to them you just killed them all ezgoing.
So what's more likely?
> every fucking human is massively op and can easily kill all monsters
> for some reason it takes until the middle ages/early renaissance for war to break out and monsters weren't just collectively enslaved beforehand
Or
> humans are normal
> 1 (or 2-3 doesn't matter but not all of them) human with Frisk/Flowey levels of determination
> goes on murderous monster rampage
> wins every fucking fight no matter how many monsters attack at once and how big/stronk they are
> monsters don't remember erased timelines and get scared to shit
> end up hyping up humans to be as op as they think they are in the game

Toriel, Undyne, Asgore, and Sans could definitely kill humans one on one if they tried and no savescumming allowed. Some combinations of monsters are guaranteed a high chance of success in battle like Whimsalot's support. It's pretty much how I imagined it is the humans just fuck with reality and then for some reason decided to kill all monsters so they couldn't potentially become gods.

I would've said fuck the surface and got tucked in every night. Frisk was probably suicidal and had no family so why would that little gook want to go back so much.
