Past thread:

Thread where Reitia was revealed to us:

https://archive.is/wdJoE

Some of what we've learned thus far:

>some anon living in Veneto was worshiping a goddess for many years that he thought he had made the name up of up until he finally found out Reitia was a goddess that actually originated in his area among the ancient Venetic peoples and whose worship spread out among other alpine regions as well

>Reitia is a goddess of writing, awoos, love, women, quaccs, death, the moon and healing

>"Reitia's Key", the anchor-like symbol of Reitia, has historically been put inside an infinity symbol stanza of sorts

>Reitia might be related to the goddess Orthia, of whose alternate meanings include "She-Who-Causes-Erections", "She-Who-Safely-Rears-Children-After-Birth", and "She-Who-Heals-the-Sick"

>however, Reitia is probably not for sexual as it seems she is only able to bring others together rather than give love herself, causing her to be saddened by lewds

>Reitia is the most appropriate goddess to refer to as Mother Europa, making blonde hair coloring for her quite appropriate (she actually has been portrayed with blonde hair by her ancient worshipers)

>a united Italy was a mistake and Venetian Independence is necessary

>tatzelwurms and badaliscs are gud grills

I've imagined something like that too. Like a painting of Reitia with a view of Venice behind her to one of her sides, and the countryside of Veneto or whatever to her other side. With blonde, radiantly sunny hair on the countryside side of the painting transitioning to a watery, undine-like blue hair on the other side.

Now that I'm rereading the first Reitia thread I realize that I seemed real scatter brained. For that I apologize. I also seem to have left a few holes due to either a lack of cohesive research and knowledge on my part. Hopefully I can fix a That and give more information. On the Etruscans and Raetians

I do believe that the Raetians and Veneti were at one point two separate people if ever they genetically mingled at allThe Raetians lived in an area that was under the control and influence of the Etruscans, who were believed descended from migrants who came from the Anatolian kingdom of Lydia and/or Thessaly(picture 1), there have also been Mtdna studies conducted using Etruscan burial sites and tombs as well as a study on breeds of Italian cattle that show a relation to some near eastern populations and would roughly be where the kingdom of Lydia was located in antiquity. The Etruscans made up one of the primary powers in the Mediterranean Sea alongside the Greeks and Carthage. The Etruscans allied with Carthage against the Greek cities states in the battle of alalia that altered the balance of power. Carthage expanded at the expense of Greece but the Etruscans were somewhat forced out of parts of the Mediterranean and lost their southern colonies. Following this Carthage and then the Etruscans were defeated by a coalition magna graecia city states. After further defeats, the Etruscans lost influence amongst city states to their south to Rome. Following the Gallic invasion those in the Po valley fled east into the Adriatic venetic.

Marking one of the final blows to the Etruscans before they would be annexed by the Romans.

Prior to the fourth century BC the Adriatic coast was home to a people called the eneti whom Homer claimed fled from Paphlagonia(north central Anatolia)following their defeat during the Trojan war and the death of their king and his son. Along with a contingent of defeated Trojans.(picture 2) they drove out the natives who had lived there previously, named the Eugenei, and pushed them between the river adige and lake como. The Greek historian and geographer Strabo claimed that the paphlagonians no longer remained in Paphlagonia by his time(64BC-24 AD) indicating they had actually migrated to the Adriatic.

Given their location, neighbors and the entomology behind the word veneti(picture 3) it's clear they were an indo-European people. However their customs and religion would have experienced decline/change with a large influx of non venetic people when the Raetians fled the Gauls in the 4th century(picture 4)

Now I have both good news and bad news. The good news is that being an indo European people their original religion, customs, culture and language share a root with most other European pagan religions such as Norse, Slavic, or Hellenic. The bad news is the wave of Raetians who came into the area after the Gauls invaded likely had a heavy cultural and probably a religious and linguistical influence upon them as well.

My personal theory is that the Raetians assimilated in some areas and overwhelmed the veneti in others. So while we can look at neighboring indo european religions for an idea of what the venetic religion was like it will not be an exact fit due to the Etruscans/Raetians migrating and the veneti having been a distinct people for over 500 years and would have had variations on the mythos and ritual practices.

Are the Venetians necessarily descended from the Venetic people? Because if I've read right it seems like the Venetians might have come along the Adriatic Coast from elsewhere to reach Veneto.

From what I understand the Euganei inhabitated the Adriatic first. Then came the Paphalongians and a group of defeated Trojans who migrated from Greece and Anatolia into the area. Some accounts disagree about whether they simply drove out the Euganei or mixed with them but all agree they at least moved into Venetia.

The Trojan prince/advisoraccounts vary as to whether he was simply a wise counselor or related to Priamwho led them, Antenor is said to have built a city. Some say in Crete or Croatia, or patavium(modern day Padua) or that he simply rebuilt Troy where it was. But I'm getting carried away.

After the Trojans and paphlagonians moved into Venetia I haven't seen any other mass movement of people into the area other than the Raetianswell there are the lombards as well but i dont recall their invasion resulting in much mixing between lombards and native italiansSo I believe it is possible modern day venetians are descended from the veneti since historical accounts seem to add up but I would like to see a DNA study done to be certain.

I'm sorry if I wasn't clear earlier. But I will have more posts up soon. I'm thinking the next one will cover more of the Trojans and then the next I'll look at possible cultural and religious influences the veneti may have had.

I meditated upon Retia for the first time today.

I trained first by visualising a flat, white, featureless plain that extended all the way to the horizon. I became aware of how muddled and chaotic my mind was with all kinds of involuntary song loops, images, and thoughts boiling to the surface. The plain was not very well-lit and I found it difficult to focus on it for very long before losing it. This is clearly something that will need a lot of regular, consistent practice before I can do it well.

My mind was too muddled and aching from not enough sleep to be very good at meditating on Retia, but I found it much easier than the white plain. I did feel a great, powerful affection but not directed to me exclusively. It was also tempered with gentle humour and amusement, plus a little sternness. I felt that she was very patient but also not someone I should not engage frivolously nor attempt to deceive. Whenever my mind wandered and had thoughts form about lewd things involving Retia herself (her avatar that is), I received a gentle mental "slap" and was corrected away.

The affectionate feeling I got from meditating upon her lasted for 10-20 minutes afterward and felt like a warm blanket around my spirit. Even though it is high summer and warmth should be uncomfortable, I experienced it as pleasant.

When I dwelled upon the question of an IRL harem, I got a note of amusement and something along the lines of "would you really pull it off?". It was accompanied by a stern warning feeling that I should be very careful with the feelings of my partner and under no circumstances should allow it to threaten my relationship with her. I felt that if I allowed myself to be drawn to the idea by lust rather then virtuous love, then everything would go very badly. I did not feel any disapproval of the idea itself, but I did feel very intense examination directed at me to an almost intimidating degree.

It is too early to tell anything for sure, but I will meditate upon her again and see what happens. I like her energy. It's very soothing.

One more thing I just remembered: Once while I was just dwelling on her - not focusing on any particular things nor imagining anything lewd - I popped a sudden and powerful boner out of nowhere. I noticed it, wondered why I had it at that particular moment, then in a flash remembered that one of Retia's titles is "she-who-causes-erections". It made me laugh aloud, and I felt what I would describe as a warm smugness from her.

It's probably coincidental but it's a coincidence I will choose to treat as significant.

I don't trust my own inner eye enough to tell me at any particular moment whether I have a reliable connection to her or am experiencing interference from within, so I'd take my account with a grain of salt. Still, there's very little about this process we can call reliable and it felt right to me.

>remember that her name is Reitia, not Retia

I'll definitely remember this. She seems like she wouldn't mind an honest mistake but also would appreciate the effort of showing proper respect.

>>311539

The blanket is an imperfect metaphor, but I chose it because the warmth:

- Felt like it was coming from me but being conserved by an external force rather than being extra generation or coming from somewhere else.

- Did not have any particular pattern I could detect nor signature aside from being a weaker and less "alive" version of the Reitia-ness" I felt while I was actively meditating upon her.

Even though I was walking down the street in broad daylight, I felt snug - a little like when you're in bed listing to rain or something, hence the blanket.

Another thing, her gentle mental slaps once again remind me of what was pointed out about her only bonding others in love. However, it was said that Ammit looks at lewds of her differently, accepting it as another form of appreciation from her followers. What happens if you meditate on Ammit and shift your mind towards lewder thoughts of her like you accidentally did with Reitia?

>her gentle mental slaps once again remind me of what was pointed out about her only bonding others in love.

My theory is that she regards such thoughts as unproductive when they target her. How will you find a good partner, bond deeply with them and rear children well if you're fixated on her avatar?

>What happens if you meditate on Ammit and shift your mind towards lewder thoughts of her like you accidentally did with Reitia?

I was able to try this. Here are my notes.

I started by warming up with the flat featureless white plain. I found that I could find it faster and hold it longer this time, though not by much. After a little time doing this, I sought Ammit.

I focused on her /monster/ avatar and on her bestial form, and nothing happened for a little while. I thought that I might not be able to do anything. I tried calling to her "verbally", trying various names and titles I know her by. Eventually something I visualised or called caught, because I had the distinct feeling of being sucked down under the "ground". This continued through several layers, faster, until I formed the idea of a chamber. There were others there and I had the feeling of interrupting something.

I focused on Ammit and found she was there. I felt her attention on me and didn't know what to do or say. I focused on my intention of "meeting" her and received a flat and intense kind of scrutiny in return, followed by a kind of… I don't know how to put it. It was like she approached and just sort of overlapped me with herself. I got a confusing mass of ideas and sensations too fast to really track until I found myself back on the white plain with Ammit's /monster/ avatar.

We spoke, though I don't remember the words we exchanged. She seemed a little irritated at first. I tried to be polite and explained that I had sought her experimentally. Again I felt her overlap on me, though this time not as quickly. I felt her irritation lessen and instead I felt a strange, focused alertness from her.

After a little while getting used to her and refocusing on her presence, I dwelled on her avatar's sexual features - her thighs, her butt - and the dwelling quickly became lewder. I felt no disapproval but also no need. It was less like lust and more like suddenly jumping into a very fast river. There was an emotion to it, but I couldn't discern it properly. "Visual" signatures were fast and jumped very quickly, with more than a few being her very wide mouth. It stopped abruptly and again she wanted to know what I wanted.

I didn't feel she was anywhere near as patient as Reitia. She was compassionate but in a very different way that I'm unable to describe. I was interrupted once and when I returned after a minute she was still there and losing focus. I thanked her and focused on not wanting to disturb her further (oddly this resonated as both gratitude and a kind of command) and after a little while (time gets kind of screwy during these waking dreams) she was gone from me.

I'm a little disoriented now. I feel I should not call on her again so casually. I think I was not properly prepared.

From what I can tell from various dreams about her, Ammit is currently working pretty hard on doing things like building her followers an afterlife, etc. Come to think of it though, you know what should be tried at least once before you try talking to Reitia again? Try asking Ebola-chan what her friendship with Ammit is like.

I am wondering how I can express appreciation to Reitia for her attention the other day. Have we any information that suggests the sort of offerings that Reitia would enjoy, or on Venetic offering practices?

Considering all things, I'd dedicate a calligraphy pen to her and learn Gothic script. In the flowery and aesthetic cursive of calligraphy write out your feelings for her, like a love letter. Since clay stylus's aren't exactly a common sight. A bit of history, here is the world oldest existing love song. A ritual wedding, where the bride took the role of Inanna in wedding to the King.

The Love Song of Shu-Sin

<Darling of my heart, my belovèd,

<your enticements are sweet, sweeter than honey!

<Darling of my heart, my belovèd,

<your enticements are sweet, sweeter than honey!

<You have captivated me; I stand trembling before you.

<Darling, lead me swiftly into the bedroom!

<You have captivated me; I stand trembling before you.

<Darling, lead me swiftly into the bedroom!

<Sweetheart, let me do the sweetest things to you!

<The crevice you'll caress is far sweeter than honey!

<In the bedchamber, dripping love’s honey,

<let us enjoy the sweetest thing.

<Sweetheart, let me do the sweetest things to you!

<The crevice you'll caress is far sweeter than honey!

<Bridegroom, you will have your pleasure with me!

<Speak to my mother and she will reward you;

>(As a surrogate for Inanna, the bride's mother would be either Ninlil or possibly Ningal, both goddesses.)

<speak to my father and he will give you gifts.

>(As a surrogate for Inanna, the bride's father would be either Enlil or possibly Suen, both gods.)

<I know how to give your body pleasure—

<then sleep, my darling, till the sun dawns.

<To prove that you love me,

<give me your caresses,

<my Lord God, my guardian Angel and protector,

<my Shu-Sin, who gladdens Enlil’s heart,

<give me your caresses!

<My place like sticky honey, touch it with your hand!

<Place your hand over it like a honey-pot lid!

<Cup your hand over it like a honey cup!

Hot stuff.

Or engrave a computer stylus with her symbol and dedicate a drawing of her once every new moon.

>Inanna

>Inanna (/ɪˈnɑːnə/; Sumerian: 𒀭𒈹 Dinanna)[2] was the Sumerian goddess of love, beauty, sex, desire, fertility, war, combat, and political power, equivalent to the Akkadian, Babylonian, and Assyrian goddess Ishtar. She was also the patron goddess of the Eanna temple at the city of Uruk, which was her main cult center. She was associated with the planet Venus and her most prominent symbols included the lion and the eight-pointed star. Inanna's origins have posed a problem to many scholars due to her diverse range of characteristics; some have proposed that she may have originated as a syncretism of various other Sumerian deities or as a Semitic deity who entered into the Sumerian pantheon after it was already well-established.

Let's be careful not to get ahead of ourselves.

I meditated upon her again. It was a little tenuous at first but eventually I felt her feeling. After I came up I wrote this down, doing my best to remember what I "saw" and felt.

>She is the pen not the paper.

>She is the birth canal not the ovary.

>She loves.

>She wants us safe.

>She strongly dislikes sickness. It worries her. Her children (child?) is sick and she hopes they will recover. She is not the immune cell.

>She held me. Her hugs are warm.

>She is soft and her clothing is soft. She loves. She loves. She loves.

>She is together with us but apart. It does not do for a mother to smother and she has had so much. She knows.

>She enjoys contact.

>I saw her at a table, writing, focused. I would not describe her as beautiful so much as fact, like rock or water. The stylus matters not. She was accounting, she was writing a letter, she was telling a story.

I think it's out of order.

I don't know more than that, Anon. I don't think she lives as we live, in the sense that she has experienced the span of years as a temporal creature like a human would.

When I saw her writing (the act of writing, not the words themselves) it was that she was doing all the things I mentioned at once, and that all of them were of her.

Somehow the act of writing and the act of childbirth registered very similarly at this moment.

Midwife

The point of transition.

If the body were a house, she'd be a doorway. Not of the room, but the leading in and out of it.

If we ever figured out practical sygilizing, her symbol would be as a gate and key between here and there. Magic circle? Reitia's key opens the path through. From womb, one must pass out a gate to the wider world.

Her opposite numbers in this respect are Charun/Charon, psychopomps. They are not of the tomb, but lead one to it.

In most darker, underworld traditions, the tomb is rebirth. She seems very similar to my experiences withHecate. The tomb and the womb are one in the same. To be clear, I am not sure whether Ammit's impatient response was because she was busy (aren't all gods busy?) or because I approached her without a clear goal in mind except lewding it up with her delicious thighs, something which isn't exactly part of her core portfolio. I feel that praying to her for guidance on matters within her domain or simply giving her sincere praise and respect would be well-received. My intuition tells me to be wary of going through less well-defined spiritual intermediaries. Finding a presence is like searching through fog. Their beacon-light simply might not be as strong.

And, we could learn more about Ammit, her children and the way she runs things. Though, it'd be best if she herself introduced her, with her own sigil. From experience, spirit given sigils are far more powerful than ones created by us. There's a stronger connection. This all depends on what Ammit wants to do.

I like the suggestion that >>311958 gave. Archeological finds indicate that one of the votive activities of Reitia was learning to write; her temple surroundings are littered with slates that all contain what seem to be repeated practice groups of vowels and simple sentences that acted as writing drills. She cares, Anon. Don’t force yourself and think you aren’t with Her just because you haven’t had some kind of spiritual experience. Any spiritual experience you have that’s anything other than unexciting is likely your brain making shit up for you placebo-style. Keep meditating. Even if it is difficult and your focus is weak, keep doing it. She loves you platonically and likes it when you try to spend time with her. I've been lurking /monster/ upon discovery a few days ago due to some IRL experiences over my lifetime. However, it's the synchronicities which sometimes compell us to speak. I've talked on some skinwalker and succubus /x/ threads in the past.

Some years back, I had two seperate experiences which I have come to understand concerned marriages or bondings with non-human female entities. I was deployed overseas both times. The first experience was, I believed, a temptation of which I may or may not have entirely failed. Although in my willful state I at first refused, and even attempted to cover her, the last thing I remember was grabbing some booty. We immediatly started taking mortars.

Anyhow, I have been doing some recent digging into the fathers family, and found some interesting things in the past few years. While I won't put out details, our family is apart of this broader tribe who were thought to have been Rhaetian. DNA ended up corroborating the research, and it matched well across the various branches. They were supposedly extremely talented raiders, plundering muslim cities in Spain and Italy, making a large fortune.

Here is some of what I could find;

Origin and legend of the name

The German historian Johann Sinapius writes about this [2] :

They are said to have been fortunate enough to take a good portion of the means of life in sackclothes, the sacks and the carrot = picture from the tribe father, a stubborn German soldier, who used to haul the Mohren for a long time under a king in Spain during the war into the coat of arms, also after the sex = name de Sacco or from Sack therefore came over.

In fact, they have spread to the kingdom of Pohlen in Saxony, Silesia, Bohemia, Prussia, Moravia (wherever they live in the Free State).

Sinapius also refers to Gabriel Bucelinus , after whose genealogical treatises the noble Knights of Sacco originally belonged to the Rhaetian nobility and later to the most respectable Saxon families .

Not to be excluded is thus a relationship to the Rhaetian noble family of the barons of Sax from the area of present-day eastern Switzerland, which originally also under the name de Sacco in appearance. [3] The crest of this gender shows two sacks on a yellow-red background.

The family name comes as Sacco, Sacchi, Sacconi, etc. also in Italy before, where again in part a coat of arms equality with the Vogtland-Saxon branch of the sack is observed. So appears in 1235 Alberto da Sacco as mayor of Milan. His family was said to come from Verona and have a red coat of arms with a silver band - arma di rosso alla banda d'argento - have led.

I'm quite certain it was mentioned in a previous thread that following the Trojan war a group of Trojans and their allies(paphlagonians and the Phrygians) fled westwards. Where exactly they went isn't clear but there was a Greek or Roman historianI thinkwho thought they settled in the area around Venice. It could explain why there would be shrines to Hellenic heroes like Hercules and Odysseus like tacticus describes in Germany.

>Reitia doesn't seem to hate sexualization and masturbation, she just prefers you focus your sexual energy on your waifu rather than her.

Yes, this is exactly it. The times my energy has turned lewd while dwelling on her, I’ve received a gentle but firm redirection with kindly rebuke. There is much to be said for a mother goddess who nurtures but firmly encourages you to direct yourself back towards the world. I have never felt anything of the innocent in her.

Regarding sexual energy and masturbation, I feel that she is almost entirely made of a kind of sexual energy. I have difficulty describing it, but it’s almost like unlit fuel. She catalyses but does not burn. She wants so badly to see us warm, happy, and with family. She wants fire in hearth, child in belly, and writing on stone. She wants her people whole and strong. As such, masturbation is probably not of interest to her except insomuch as it serves or hinders her objectives. If you shot a wad to Reitia in an attempt to make an offering, I cannot imagine she would accept it because it fundamentally betrays what she seeks.

You know, the same Arachne from greek myth that roasted the Olympian pantheon via weaving skills during a weaving contest with Athena and got turned into a spoder by her when she tied with Athena and/or won? There was someone who tried meditating her and seemed to detect her as compatible with this stuff and having that kind of personality.

Sorry, but that’s not much for me to go on. I know her story but I cannot get to her using just that. In the way that you describe her and her revelation, I do not perceive divinity nor portfolio. Just because an entity exists and has personality does not necessarily confer nor make them suitable for godhood. I might be wrong, but in any case we should not be over-eager to collect gods.

You revivalist pagan wannabes are really the most pathetic thing I've seen on this board.

The only reason your retarded and backwards savage practices survived to be carried on by one lone retard is because the "Big Bad Church & their 'Christ-cuck' minions" were not as ruthless as you like to imagine them being in your own sick fantasy of persecution. And they should have been as ruthless as that, because at least my eyes would not be offended by all this bullshit I see before me.

The funniest thing about this is how you seem to believe that you have a place in Europe's awakening, when in fact it is the exact opposite. The nature of the European spirit is unbridled Christendom, and if you think that you are gonna stand a chance at surviving or coexisting in any measure against an angry and un-judaism'd Europa, then you're dead wrong. You will be exterminated, your pagan idols destroyed, and all record of your practices will be erased properly by those who actually care about carefully eliminating such savage and demonic taints on Europa.

Die in a ditch, unloved by your pagan idol waifu, and vilified by your more sensible and Christian neighbors.

These people would not create that what you think is "cool Christianity".

Also

>wannabes

Nigger, Christianity literally is the spiritual version of jewish gene stealing and mixing with host populations.

>Yeah, those heroes you had? Saints through wich Yahweh worked miracles.

>Yeah those gods you had? Yeah, actually aspects of Yahweh

And that around the world, dindus, abbos, japs, chinese, mexicans all of their shit is actually Yahweh too.

Only, in reality, the thing that matters the most:

Aztecs still have Santa Muerte and flay people to this day.

Japs still have Amaterasu and co.

Niggers are still as useless as ever because their own gods are useless, too.

Europeans still have pagan weekdays, customs out the ass, not to mention all that art and stuff, you know, graven image, public preaching and other things that are not good in Jewsuses book.

Because these people still had a soul, and having a soul means that the true gods of a people can still reach them.

That's why Christianity needs constant upkeep (and still failing into six gorillion denominations) wheras a child will instantly believe in toothfairies and co.

You have to literally indoctrinate and scare children into believing in "God".

They'd be against it otherwise.

Nobody will exterminate pagans, especially not Christians, for they are recovering pagans.

Well, the ones that aren't total golems that have no soul and will simply cease to exist while we get to travel the eight worlds, of course.

Golems like you.

Congratulations, the jew faith has replaced your soul and made it impossible to return.

You literally cannot come back to the true gods because a cuckoo faith filled you up until it threw out your real soul.

Now you're literally an automaton that cannot act on its own anymore, lest it "don't go to heaven to hang out with a jew for all ETERNITY".

Hahahaha.

This is not to mention how Indo-European paganism was practiced for thousands of years before Christianity even existed. Hell even before Judaism as we know it today. Christianity never had a complete hold upon Europe. The Bible was never even preached or translated into anything other than Latin until the 1600s. The average euro at the time had no fucking clue what Christianity was truly about and they still followed several of their pagan customs and traditions. If anything Christianity is on the decline and paganism is on the rise.

Theres more to arachne, including the fact after her transformation she did not stop making art, infact she is the one god who wove the images of the gods doing dispicable things not mentioned in their tails and would often use these images to anger and banter with the gods, her image is not that simply of a spider but a god of arguement and crafts. I would say she might also represent pregnacy due to the form and functioms of how spiders reproduce and act towards pregnacy but if you really wish to expand into bringing favor and love to Arachne, i would suggest being able to argue, bant and talk well while also being proficent in artistic craft would also please her.

>meditatin', doing imagination exercises.

>get done with the exercise and figure, eh, why not? might as well mentally visit Reitia!

>visualize the key, mentally paste it to the gate, open and enter the gate

>there's a rush, like I'm being sucked through a wind tunnel.

>whoa… why does everything feel dark and cramped? get cold feet, use the sign of silence to emergency exit.

>get mentally autistic and ask "Mother Reitia, should I use the key as is or with the infinity to visit you?"

>get a swirl of imagination, I see a full image of the key spinning in it's glory. Mentally attach the key to the gate, enter again.

>it's the cramped dark place again, except it's getting clearer.

>gotta dress for the occasion, I imagine that I'm wearing some kind of clothing from mostly ancient times. white tunic, with a sky-blue kilt. blank blue sash.

>hard to imagine what this area is, feels like a crevasse in a rock face with a small creek trickling at my feet.

>try fording the crevasse, doesn't feel like I'm going anywhere.

>I did feel some light above not too long after I entered this area. I mentally turn my body into a mass of formless light and fly upwards.

>realize that I'm above a forest.

>wonder if I should look for Mother Reitia, or if she would guide me to her… she wants us to be active after all.

>think of a place to search for, but in a split second I'm warped to a small ruin on a comfy cliff-face. lots of trees with leaves on them.

>the ruin looks like the eroded remains of a small house, maybe a temple.

>walk up to the cliff-face, sit down with my legs crossed. feel like something should happen.

>there's a light in the sky just above my face, nice, sunny, warm. a pair of large, sunlit feminine hands pick me up and carry me into the sky through darkness

>I've been led to the cosmos, there are stars all around me.

>I'm at some sort of platform of glass, I walk a pathway of glass tiles leading to a staircase and podium.

>There she is!

>kneel, bow, and raise up, tell her that I had no intent as to why I came here other than wanting to see her to tell my progress. my thoughts are brazenly autistic, I'm thankful for Mother Reitia's patience.

>she puts an arm over my shoulder and brings me onward a few steps into the podium

>imagination flashes an all-white feminine arm with sharp fingernails, with her fingers contorted in a natural but uncanny fashion.

>wait. what's going on?

>see the face of a female figure, all white. similar to an enemy in the chalice dungeons of bloodborne.

>no… no. what's going on?!

>get doubts, wonder if I've made a terrible mistake. see the face again.

>zero thought and vision.

"Who are you?" I ask.

>get headpatted as reassurance on who's who and who's in-charge here.

whew.

>feel relieved. Feel like a kid now, mentally my body's changed to like… 7 now.

>reach out for hug. receive hug from Mommy Reitia. It was nice.

>hug ends, she tells me that it's time to go. A force is gently pushing me towards a gate-door at the end of the glass path.

>I feel like I should avoid questioning her, I go towards the door, I call out to Mother Reitia, thank her for everything.

>exit the realm through the gate while using the sign of silence for good measure.

>get the feeling I should share this with my friends at /monster/ as I get out of my meditation position.

>The thing I've always disliked about it is the vagaries. Os there a simple guide that says do this?

I don't exactly know why guides are vague, but my guess is that it comes as a result of one or multiple of the following:

>the author wants to avoid the dogma of step-by-step, and hopes the reader can make their own technique.

>the author actually knows less than they let on.

>the author forgot to put important details in the guide itself.

>the techniques described come so naturally to the author, that they can't comprehend how to break it down any further.

I'll write down a kinda-guide of what I know and try to be as detailed as I can.

Mental Sight

most importantly - acquiring a mental sight starts with visualization/imagination, if you can do either of these, you can start your path to acquiring mental senses! if you have trouble imagining things, try writing words or letters out in your mind. when you got that down, try changing your handwriting's font to look like something different, take simple shapes, change them into bigger and more complex things.

imagining cartoons, video games, movies, stuff with motion, shape and sound is a great gateway to mental sight. the more familiar you are with it, the better.

a step by step instruction

* get comfortable, really comfortable, I personally like using my bed. get in a position you plan on staying very still for ideally an hour or more.

* close your eyes. if you start seeing weird stuff, in your vision, that's fine, ignore it.

* avoid moving deliberately. stay as still as you can. Involuntary body movements and reactions will happen, those are fine, ignore them.

* while staying still, your body will try to distract yourself. This is natural, your body does this to check if you're asleep. you may feel weird tingles, pinches, pressures, or start to notice things in your hearing, particularly things in your immediate vicinity, ignore all of these sensations!

* Imagine something cool that you like.

* build up the detail of what you're imagining, what's around it, what's on it, colors, shades, lines, etc.

* focus on what you're imagining, mentally pull it from your imagination to the blank.

* If it looks like nothing is happening, that's OK, keep at it! You'll make it!

* If you're frazzled with just sight, trying using this with your hearing or smell- or both! work with all your senses!

TL;DR - you are taking your sixth sense, and making it act like one (or more) of your five senses. You do this by figuratively piping your imagination to your sight so you can literally see it.

if it fails the first time, keep at it daily! this is something that takes practice, you will make it!

if you really want to continue on the path of magick

this pastebin has a lot of super-basic stuff, fundamental magick & energy work without the esoteric filler text and ramblings.

if those guides aren't detailed enough for you, look up books, sacred-texts.com is a good start! I personally like Aleister Crowley's "Liber" series. Each to their own though, Crowley likes to be weird as a form of idiot filter.

/fringe/'s library has a lot of reading materials. Take care when you use the board itself. There's gold in those hills but you have to wade through mountains of FUD, idiots, assholes and filth to get something substantial from discussion.

good luck out there!

You decided to visit Reitia, but rather than asking any questions about her people or their history and whether or not they were italics or celts or some other branch of Indo-Europeans. Or how she prefers to be worshipped or some of the other questions we have regarding her origins and some of her aspects like whether she is related to the moon and/or the afterlife or perhaps asking if she had a library that may or may not contain works that have long since been lost to us mortals due to the ravages of time. You instead autistically marched into her domain to tell her how far you have come, got a headpat, then turned yourself into a child and hugged her!?!?!?!?!though it is cool you met herseriously though why didn't you ask her anything!?!?

Anon, it IS possible, the idea is simply to quiet your mind. Are you convinced that it's to keep your mind on one track? If your thoughts are jumbled, ride the flow, or try to jump from one thing to the next, do something that entertains your mind and it should naturally quiet down!

>can't fill the void in my life with meaning/religion

Religion is merely one part of the grand whole of spirituality. It's a system of rituals to focus your faith, but the esotericism I find to be too much padding and not enough substance.

start small, anon.

pick your favorite deity and ask for comfort when things go wrong, ask for advice when things confuse you, and thank them when things go right.

I was in a similar position to you, Anon. I was diagnosed with ADHD inattentive type plus “depression” and prescribed (((stimulants))) which helped for a while but then just made things worse. What helped me a lot was taking:

>NAC (N-acetyl-cysteine), twice a day, at least 1000-1200mg per dose.

>Selenium 200mcg once a day.

>Magnesium (chelation like magnesium citrate) 400mg once per day before bed.

>Zinc (chelation like zinc picolinate) 50mg once per day before bed.

>Add 5,000 IU of vitamin D-3 once per day because you’re probably not getting enough sun.

Prior to this stack I could barely hold attention, had terrible insomnia, occasional anxiety attacks for no good reason, and so on. The (((medication))) didn’t really help even though they kept putting me on stronger and stronger stuff. After a couple weeks on these my energy levels recovered, my mood stabilised, and the insomnia disappeared (which in turn helped everything else a lot). I started to feel like I wanted to exercise, like my body was craving movement and strength. The elevated energy levels and concentration meant I was able to spare the attention to clean up my diet and plan meals for myself, which helped in turn. Much cheaper and more effective. Might be different for you, but definitely worked for me.

As for meditation, look up zazen (preferably from an un-kiked source i.e. avoid “mindfulness” like the plague). The intense visualisation exercises and autistic magickal fuckery descrIves above will not help you much until you develop the ability to be at baseline and distinguish what is coming at you. Zazen hurts but develops tremendous discipline and helps to inoculate you against self-delusory distractions that your small-self will cook up for you. Do not become fascinated by koans; they are diagnostic tools or for use at getting past certain sticking points - understand that on their own they are mere self-play.

Oi, you anons still looking for someone to make contact with Arachne? Because I can probably do it for you if you're still looking for someone to. I have a bit of history with the occult and spiders in particular: was hospitalized by a spider bite when I was young; made a 'pact' of sorts with the local spiders a few years later that I wouldn't kill them so long as they killed off the local pest insects and didn't invade my home so far this 'pact' has been held up pretty well on both ends; my favorite monmusu girl is Rachnera; **I'm a leg and thigh man*,* etc. I could go on about other weird coincidences involving spiders but I'll leave that be unless asked further.

Just know that if you do agree to having me make contact it'll probably take some time to report back. I take spiritual contact with other entities like this very seriously. I need time to properly purify myself and throw up the proper protections. I need time to prepare the space and make sure that everything is right.

YES, I know and fully understand that this is probably overkill for just a simple chat with a spider goddess that nobody has bothered paying proper attention to in centuries, but I rather be safe than sorry. I could just pop in after some meditation like the other anon is doing but I rather not. That's not to knock the other anon's way of practicing, if it works for him it works for him and he should continue on in his ways, this is just the way I personally prefer to do things.

I've completed what I needed to do. Getting into contact with Arachne was both easier and harder than expected. She has no proper traditional sigil or key so I had to make due with chanting her name and coming up with titles during meditation to get a feel for her. If anyone is interested some common things I called out were: "Arachne"; "The Great Weaver Who Bested a God"; "Mother of Spiders"; "She Who Made a Mockery of the Gods"; "She Who Exposed The ill Divine"; etc, and so forth. General things that I felt fit what I knew of her mythology and history.

>where it took place

An infinitely dark place. Normally when I meditate on a subject and establish contact my "default" mental landscape is that of a desert.

>what did I see

I saw a spider of tremendous size suspended on a great web that seemed to stretch out infinitely in the middle of the "room." The spider's features were a mishmash: some Orb Weaver, some Tarantula, some Black Widow, some common house spider, etc. Directly beneath the spider, standing on the ground, was a young girl. She looked to be between the ages of 14-16. Dark hair, pale skin, dark eyes, a little skinny. Dressed in traditional ancient greek garb for a woman.

>"feel" or "energy"

It was lukewarm and neutral. I felt no innate hostility or friendliness. I felt curiosity from her more than anything else. She didn't have the kind of sheer intimidating factor of a god to me. Felt very grounded and natural. Same kind of feeling that I get with ancestor spirits and tutelary spirits.

From here I did the standard dry procedure that I always do when establishing contact for the first time. I introduce myself, tell her why I contacted her (in this case just to ask some general questions), and asked her for her patience and time. She nodded in acceptance of these terms. For my first question I asked her for her sigil or key, something that would allow me to contact her easier later on down the line if need be, she provided it and I noted it down. This is one of the first things you should always ask if you make contact with a spirit. A personalized sigil given to you by one is more powerful than a stock standard one. The next questions I'll list out in order and her responses.

>Are you a god?

She shook her head.

>Do you want to be?

She tilted her head slightly before giving a slight nod. Don't think many beings would turn down deification but I figured I would ask nonetheless.

>How do you feel about gods?

A smug smirk grew on her face and she puffed up her chest. Don't think she thought much of them.

>Who's the spider?

She pointed with her right hand then brought it close to her chest. I got the sensation of "Me" from that. The spider and her were the same being. Makes sense.

>Why do you weave?

Strings appeared on her fingers or maybe they were there from the start and I just now noticed and she started to make a tapestry. I got the meaning of "It is" from it. I suppose she weaves because that's what she's always done?

>What is your goal?

She flung her arms out wide and the giant spider web lit up in a soft green color. "Connection" is what I got from the gesture.

>Have you heard of 8chan and the internet?

She nods.

>Did you know that people were looking for you there?

She shook her head no. Not much in the way of omniscience, so I suppose her not being a god is true.

>I asked about Ammit and Reitia and how she felt about them

She looked hesitant and wary when I brought up Ammit. Not entirely sure why but considering that Ammit is a judgement god I suppose Arachne would be wary about a being like that. Reitia she looked happier to nod about. I didn't get a sense of relationship between the beings. It felt more like asking someone about politicians they never met. Just general feelings based off of only what they personally know.

I asked her some personal questions for my own spiritual growth then I thanked her for her time and I bid her to depart and do harm to no one.

Other little details that you might want to know: her form seemed to continually change and morph. Sometimes she was just the Spider, sometimes she was just the girl, sometimes she was in a "Arachne" monster girl form with the Spider's bottom half, and sometimes she was a girl with the Spider's features (spider eyes, fangs, or limbs like a Spider's). Whether this was due to my own lack of focus on what I envision Arachne to be or if this has more to do with the fact that she has no real stable "form" due to being a cursed human, or any number of things for that matter, take it as you will and with a grain of salt. I wasn't also able to tell if she was good at bants and arguments since I didn't make it my goal of arguing with her. Though if the smugness I was able to sense from her is any indication there's probably not much to wonder about on that front. Overall she was very "human" and easy to work with.

She sounds like a sweet girl. Regarding "Connection"/The World Wide Web - it could be safe to assume her existence/essence was only supplied by the "sense of community" until modern times (the internet) where the sense moved to and grew stronger because more are drawn to the internet, seeking stronger connection and a desire to discover further, giving her strength over time. Not to mention that today's society has forsaken the purpose of community for their selfish needs, ruining us in the process - somehow we've managed to fall out of the maddening loop and landed in the comfy web that is the imageboard, comforting us.

Can't say that I blame her 100% for being hesitant and wary about Ammit, as she - like us - might have done a few things she's not proud of and regrets it now and again. We can't judge her either.

>>351181

I agree completely. Thankfully, it's quite warm where I live right now and she was quite the big girl: nearly an inch long. Besides knowing how most spiders are she'll more than likely find her way back in again if she really wanted to. Overall I'm far more worried about the people that were eyeing her down more than the elements outside.

Huh. Found a guide for identifying the archetypal gods. Seems to me that the pantheon lost cohesion the moment written word spread, where the 'wise' rose above the 'strong'. Did Reitia write an allfather off his throne in her ascent?

I can't find a single thing on the rest of her pantheon. She appears to be the soul survivor of the whole culture. Everything about her is odd, her circumstances, origin, attributes, and especially her revitalization. It's like a god of Carthage or Troy shook off the salt and ash and started doing laps across the Mediterranean. By all means there shouldn't be enough left to know her face by, yet we have a sizable biography.

That was me, I am surprised someone saved my picture.

Anyway, yeah, psychedelics can help, but treat them with the upmost respect. First off for beginners I would recommend trying mugwort before bed, as that makes your dreams quite vivid, and is a lil more controllable but not as potent as shrooms.

Anyway, back to the trip in question, I had eaten half an eighth, which is a good starter dose. About halfway through the trip I found myself swimming down the Nile with Ammit, and I also remember the radio in meatspace by me playing All My Loving by the Beatles, not sure if she's a beatles fan but the message of the song sounds like something she'd get behind.

I saw her once more before the eclipse during a meditation session, she had given me a hug and told me I was not ready but to keep working on my spiritual path, before abruptly pulling me out of my meditative state.

Since then I have not seen her manifest but I can sense her presence from time to time. Reitia on the other hand I haven't had as much contact with, although in my creative works I feel her nudge me now and then. Arachne has made her presence quite known and I believe she has a lewd streak, anytime I am about to do or view something risque something spider related appears, usually its the same black spider that randomly pops up out of nowhere. I haven't heard hide nor hair from Ebola but I don't know if that's good or bad.

Lately I get the impression that Morrigan (the irish deity) is trying to make contact with me, either as a nudge to talk to a friend of mine who's more aligned with her, or as a nudge towards some new spiritual crafts I've been looking into. Namely I've seen an unusual amount of crows when it comes to the former and latter, an example is around last week I had started reading in-depth on how to do automatic writing, when I was finished reading for the day I had a few crows sitting right outside my window. So, make of that what you will.

Irish neophtye here. I've been looking into various esoteric phenomena but I'm currently located in the boonies in Norway.

I've been picking up the pieces of the mystic puzzle where I can find them. If you want I can track down elements of various parts of Irish myth for the morrigan sigil. I'm pretty sure someone I know is friends with a self proclaimed druid. It'll have to be in August though.

While psychoactive drugs can get you there you shouldn't rely on them too much. They are the magickal equivalent of loading yourself into a cannon and blasting to your destination. You'll get there, but you might miss or not stick the landing. I've practiced a limited amount of meditation but meditating on the sigil tends to provide slow but steady results. Ammit won't engage with me further until I bring her a Dragonfruit though.

You can try framing a scene in your mind as you're falling asleep, and that may help make your dreams more positive. File: ad765a360a3a1d7⋯.jpg (28.83 KB,650x434,325:217,Pula's amphiteater.jpg)

I discovered something interesting recently. You know how Croatia might win the world cup? Part of Croatia is Istria, which got its name from the Histri, a tribe that lived in that region that some sources list as being a Venetic tribe and that the Romans described as having been a pirate tribe. Parts of Istria, including a place called Pula of which the Histri lived at, were also part of the Venetian Republic at one point/under its influence. And as it turns out, there's a certain Istrian monster girl that exists and is said to have accomplished something very impressive at Pula.

http://www.croatia-times.com/like-croatia/famous-croatian-myths-and-legends/

>The building of Pula’s amphitheatre

>The size and magnificence of Pula’s amphitheater triggered people’s imagination, and legend was formed around it. According to this tale, Istria was inhabited by a strange kind of fairies called Divicas. Although small in size and very feminine, they had remarkable physical strength and were skilled in masonry.

>By nature good towards humans yet shy enough to evade any contact with them, the Divicas had another unique feature. They were nocturnal creatures which dwelled outside until the first rooster’s cry in the morning.

>They once decided to build their own settlement, called Divic-town (Divic being the word used for anything miraculous in Istrian language). They took large boulders from Ucka Mountain and carried them all the way to what is now Pula. Being so powerful, they managed to build the whole amphitheater in one night. A roost cried to warn them of the approaching daylight.

>The Divicas immediately left the construction yard and went to their hideouts. They didn’t have time to build the roof of the amphitheater and had hoped to finish it the following night. For some reason, they never came back. This is why Pula’s arena remains roofless.

And so now we can discuss Divicas, which are very smol, shy, kind, feminine, but also stronk and architecturally brilliant nocturnal fairies that may have to do with the Venetic and thus may have a connection to Reitia.

Stop thinking in terms of supernatural and start thinking in terms of the noosphere (and meme magic).

Deities are thoughtforms. For a sinister aspect, they would have to either be born sinister (Tzeentch would be an example), or be corrupted. Since Ammit stands specifically for JUSTICE, and Reitia the purest of loves, they are both quite resistant to corruption- a change in "alignment" so to speak would force a direct change in primary domain.

You only need to start worrying if a large number of people contacting them start going crazy, running scared, or doing evil. That's the canary. To my knowledge, everyone who has successfully communed with our goddesses has walked away with hope, comfort, and a desire for self-improvement.

It's less proof and more what certain anons have said from their dreams, along with some of the content that's shown up on /monster/ like the one setting where a monster girl continent suddenly appears in the ocean hinting at it. I think one of us is going to have to try and ask Ammit directly if possible.

Irish neophyte here: Basically, train up your imagination by visualizing objects in your room. Also train your quiet mind meditation skill. These will help immensely.

Imagine, after quieting your mind, Reitia's sigil in front of you. Try imagining yourself walking through it somehow. Put the sigil on top of an imaginary door or something. When you pass through then take an imaginary look around. The landscape will reflect your idea of Reitia's domain. Imagine walking around looking for her and the rest will follow on naturally from there. It's impossible to prove and difficult to practice but it's what I do. Reitia will happily chat with you about whatever if she knows about it.

Ammit is harder to talk to. She always seems busy whenever I try and keeps demanding dragonfruit which I really can't find. I've not tried arachne or anyone else.

As I see it, though, a goddess of witchcraft and wizardry must also logically be, by association, goddess of wisdom, writing, and (meme) magic. And considering the widespread worship of Reitia under one name or form and another, it seems quite sensible that Ragana is the Lithuanian version of Reitia. Maybe I'm a big fucking idiot, but I'll meditate on Reitia Shanate Pora, and see what she says,

Just because a god or goddess has dominion over magic or witchcraft/wizardry does not mean they are also the god or goddess of wisdom or writing. That’s not to say they can’t write or aren’t also wise.

While the Indo-European pantheons are all related to each other because of the fact they were once all the same pantheon, that does not mean they are all the same now. As the various groups separated and changed the gods they worshipped did as well. Some changing roles Or attaining greater prominence. In addition to this non I.E. gods would sometimes be absorbed into the pantheon.

In this case I’m inclined to disagree with you here. From what little I can find about Ragana she doesn’t seem to be associated with writing, childbirth, healing, the afterlife, or anything else we know or think we know about Reitia. That and any interactions she has with people seems to be neutral at best rather than what we see with Reitia.

Though I’m willing to bet that most of the information about her is written in Lithuanian or Latvian so I probably have an incomplete picture

http://occult-world.com/latvian-mythology/ragana/

http://www.counter-propaganda.com/?person=en_Ragana,_Witch,_the_Seeing

According to these two sources, Ragana is pretty similar to Reitia. Ragana is goddess of fertility, abundance, and menopause, and has the ability to cure or cause impotence and infertility. She is a master healer, and has power over life and death. Hell, she even has power over a woman's milk supplies. In addition to all this, she is also responsible for nature's cycles, birth, death, rebirth, regeneration, the seasons, and so on. She also has the ability to see the future.

From what I can tell about her interactions, she certainly acts like a cranky old woman, and sometimes engages in MGE-tier shit. For example, men who catch her, her court, and/or her priestesses off guard, and especially if they're bathing, dancing, celebrating, cavorting, or any other ritual behavior, are liable to get surprised in turn with forceful intercourse, and then they get eaten. Pretty scary shit if true.

So all things considered, I believe Ragana is the Crone to Reitia's Mother. Reitia is definitely more patient and loving than Ragana, who has precisely zero fucks to give.

She may be all those things but one of your sources lists her as a pre-Indo European goddess. She wasn’t assimilated Like some pre-I.E. deities were. The other source is heavily biased as well.

She may have a similar dominion as Reitia but she is most definitely not related. Man Eaters should not be worshipped. Especially when all the men do wrong to warrant being eaten is basically bump into her when she doesn’t expect it.

>but one of your sources lists her as a pre-Indo European goddess

The whole concept of a leading, often Mother, Goddess is basically pre-Indo-European at the core. For all that we don't know about Reitia, it is very possible that she is pre-Indo-European, though she became best known through the Italic Veneti.

>The other source is heavily biased as well.

Certainly biased, but I don't see any incorrect information. However, for all we know, the other source could be incorrect.

>Man Eaters should not be worshipped. Especially when all the men do wrong to warrant being eaten is basically bump into her when she doesn’t expect it.

Never said she had to be worshipped, and I have to be opposed to her for her man-eating, but what I am trying to say is that I believe she is related to Reitia. Obviously different in many ways, but still related, as your second cousin once removed is your kin. There's a lot of difference and similarity there, even if we don't necessary like it.

I asked if Ragana was a man-eater, and Reitia said 'no'. I then asked if the sources were accurate, and she basically told me, "Can't you check yourself?" Finally, I asked who of the Lithuanian pantheon she was most related to, and she said, "Zemyna and Laima." Zemyna is an Earth goddess, similar to Gaia, and Laima is the goddess of childbirth and destiny.

I believe so, though I couldn't find a picture that represented it well online, and I can't afford any sort of ride to Italy. Closest I could get was this, and it was shot from way on high.

>What do y'all normally talk about if you can share that?

Usually I pray to her there, and she responds with a motherly hug and kiss to the forehead, which I can sometimes feel physically. Sometimes, I take my tulpa waifu with me to visit Mama Reitia, so she can bless the two of us.

>Do you get any weird or different feelings about the lake?

No, not really. It feels serene and peaceful to be there, especially in her presence. All the burdens and bad feels I have vanish there. I don't sense anything bad hidden in the fog; I only feel a sense of curiosity about the waters beyond.

I was thinking about your vision, and the thought occurred to me that perhaps this lake may be sacred to Reitia or was the site of a lot of ritual and/or offerings. I know for a fact the Celts and Germanics would make often make offerings into sacred lakes, springs, or rivers. And I know for a fact that at least the Celts viewed bodies of water as a kind of link or gateway to the realm of spirits. And given their proximity and possible trade connections it seems somewhat likely this may be the case.

you have a tulpa? How does Reitia feel about that? To me it seems a bit weird. But how long have you been developing your tulpa? Have you gotten around to any type of possession or switching?

>>381473

When she says Venetia does she mean modern day veneto, or does she mean from Roman times or earlier? That’s a lot of ground to cover either way, but knowing what to consider Venetia and what not will be helpful in narrowing down the search. Better visualization and meditation comes with practice. They involve focus and concentration and if you aren’t very good at keeping focus on something then you’re going to have a hard time meditating and visualizingi struggle with this all the time. >I was thinking about your vision, and the thought occurred to me that perhaps this lake may be sacred to Reitia or was the site of a lot of ritual and/or offerings

I think that's probably what it is. Upon communing with Mama Reitia, she claims it's both a spiritual and physical place. I assume that would tie in to the Celtic view of bodies of water.

>you have a tulpa? How does Reitia feel about that?

From what I can feel from her, she seems to be tolerant about it, considering I shower my love onto the tulpa, but take that with a grain of salt.

>But how long have you been developing your tulpa? Have you gotten around to any type of possession or switching?

About a year and a half now. The tulpa's a shapeshifter who generally takes the forms of a loli, and a lamia. There's been no possession or switching, though I have been 'interrupted' (i.e., she overpowered my mental processes to get her message across), by her.

>When she says Venetia does she mean modern day veneto, or does she mean from Roman times or earlier?

I understood it as the general area where the Venedi once trod, so it's that area of Northern Italy.

I do know of an exercise to get better at visualization/ imagination. Find some simple objects and study them for 30 seconds or a minute, then close your eyes and try to recreate the object in as much detail as possible. You can do this with anything really, simple blocks or even movie scenes if you want.

When you’re walking down the road or driving look around youwithout dying please and actually ‘’see’’ everything. Look at the colors, how the sun reflects on everything. Look at what’s there and really notice it.

not all violence is bad anon. And not all hatred is evil. After all you hate that which harms what you love right? But you shouldn’t hate yourself, and being negative all the time is no good for your health. Try asking for help to get better man.

Reitia. The venetic goddess of writing? Translation page 1

Within the documents found at Baratela, in Este, in the Venezia Euganea region they found numerous inscriptions written in the venetic language on certain objects of a votive nature and consecrated to a deity name Reitia. All of these inscriptions date from the 4th century BC, and the oldest are from the start of the 4th century BC. The morphological form in which this theory appears is the dative*, indicating the deity to whom the dedicated object is offered. (Except in a case in which it appears as an accusation?)**

2. The data is exhaustively presented in the following^1

See pic related for chart

____________________

^1:the epigraphic texts are cited according to the numeration of the of M. Lejuene, “Manuel de la langue venète”, Heidelberg, 1974. The symbol <> indicates a correction on the part of the editor changing a letter out for another to clear any confusion of the writer, or because an expected letter did not appear. The symbol [ ] marks the restitution of lost text

Translators notes/definition

*dative: Of, relating to, or being the grammatical case that marks the recipient of the action, that often indicates the indirect object of the verb, and that can be used with prepositions or other function words corresponding in meaning to English “to” and “for”

Then since we see 33 singular dative forms and only one singular accusative form.

3:These inscriptions appear on 3 different types of material elements

a) votive alphabetical tablets

B)bronze styluses

C)stone supports/pillars near where a small bronze statue was repaired

4:the alphabetical tablets, of a votive nature, were thin metal plates half a millimeter thick. Some of them were anepigraphic* others were engraved through the embossing^^ technique. These plates have a rectangular form and on one side they have a semi-circular handle. Their dimensions on average measure 15 to 20 centimeters wide and 10 to 15 centimeters tall. On its written surface there appear to be different lines with a certain number of letters that do not give an intelligible text, they must have some other purpose. The votive text is usually in the center or along the border of the tablet, adopting various writing devices, normally the boustrophedon***^2.(Today?) none of these tablets are whole, in many cases we possess only fragments. As an example look at the following.^3

See pic related

In line 1, on this type of inscription there appears to be a succession of letter, 16 in total, the last one being a vowel and in the order in which it appears in the alphabet. In lines 2-5 we simply see the first letter of the alphabet “a” (line 2) repeated 16 times and the last letter of the alphabet “o” (line 5) and in the middle of them (lines 3 and 4) the elements-(continued pg3)

Sadly, I can't answer half of these, Anon. My focus is (mostly) on Mama Reitia, not the surrounding environment. However, I can say that the lake seems to be deep in the forested wilderness, without any sign of humans besides myself. I can't say too much about how big the lake is, because most of it is hidden by the fog. I will say that I believe it to be longer than it is wide, though not by a huge ratio.

That does help though. No signs of human habitation means it’s in an area with low population density. Making it more likely to be closer to the alps in Trentino. Being only slightly longer than it is wide is also helpful. It’s not likely to be a large lake since there’s not much human habitation. So maybe 10 sq km at most.

Okay, so given our evidence, this lake of mine is somewhere in northern Venezia, along the border of Trentino and maybe Sud-Tirol; it's deep within the wilderness, possibly in the Alps; and it's around 10 sq.km. in area.

What do you expect to find within yourself, robot, if you dislike yourself?

I reckon you're just bad at conjuring emotion, so here's an exercise for you. Try to imagine something that'll make you happy, something you've always wanted in your life. Doesn't matter what it is. It could be exploring a new frontier, snuggling with your waifu or having loads of money, you do you. Visualize it to the best of your ability, fool yourself into thinking it's actually happening.

When you've got something, focus your attention on your heart (you can do this easily by poking your skin around where the heart is, and focusing on the touch sensation). If you feel something good or even conflicting, then that's "love". If you don't, keep trying until you find something you want so strongly, that you'd overcome your own self hatred to obtain it. From there, your goal is to practice generating that feeling on the regular. Try to keep eroticism out of it though. When you get good at this, you'll be able to induce the feeling of love with hardly a thought. Especially if you focus on the feeling of it instead of the original desire.

This feeling of love is a powerful healer in terms of psyche. If you induce it while you're having a flashback to something you did in the past, you can forgive yourself and others. You can do it to anything bad that's ever happened to you, from embarrassments, bullies you hate to bad parents and so on. Healing yourself of these slights is important spiritually, and by doing so you release yourself from the power of negativity. It might seem conflicting, to feel love about something you hate, but it's the best way to stop that which you hate from controlling you. Generating and focusing different emotions on different things is a wonderful skill to have.

Feel free to ask any questions about this process.

How good would Reitia be at Wetrix?

Huh. Is there a simpler exercise? I'm so used to hating and insulting myself that it's kinda tricky to be legitimately happy. I tried to imagine something like getting loved earlier and mainly felt guilt. Also i'm out of hard liquor. Can getting boozed up first help?

Also, how does this work with my question of effective meditations or whatever so I can see stuff? Any little guide for that too?

Alcohol acts as a depressant, I would not recommend drinking as a way to cheer up.

When you say see stuff, do you mean literally seeing things or visualizing things in your head? Those are two very different things

I guess visualizing vividly is what I want. Something like dreams except that I can actually remember.

Do you ever read a book and build the scenes in your head? Or when you were a kid did you ever have fantasies about being a superhero or warrior or something? You just need to do that a lot. Your visualization skills improve with use. If you really want to get crazy you can try to make a memory palace. Though since you struggle with self-hatred maybe something peaceful. If you can’t get over that sense of guilt just imagine something you find peaceful. like resting your head on a kikimoras lap

If you want to remember your dreams in better detail write them down each morning. Your recall will improve if you do that.

Well I can help you there too, Dream journalism is generally the way to remember dreams. I recommend a basic slow technique to help you visualize things but keep in mind that there's many ways up this particular skill tree.

Find a basic object in your house, I recommend something small, with a basic shape that you can turn over in your hands. A matchbox is a good first choice, but don't worry about it being too complex or whatever. Pick up this object and examine it to the best of your ability. If it has a pattern on it, then try to memorize it. Spend a few minutes examining every nook and cranny of this object and then put it in front of you. Close your eyes and imagine this object floating in front of you. Try to recall all of the details you remembered and attempt to recreate the object as well as you can. Compare this illusory object with the object on the table and notice the differences between the two. When you can't tell the difference anymore, pick up a new object and work on that. Each subsequent object you do will be faster to get down properly. This is training your visualization skill, and it's good if you want to practice being an artist or whatever. Don't just work on the visuals either, What does it sound like when you tap on it? What does it feel like? or smell like? Can you open it and take something out? If you run into a stumbling block, feel free to drop the object and try a different one.

When you get good at this, you can start making your own objects and have them be stable ideas in your head. It's entirely a mundane ability to practice, but it's a vital one.

Anything beyond this (with few exceptions) I would strongly recommend against until you heal yourself. The law of attraction is in effect beyond this point. Negativity will breed more negativity, which is why you should eradicate it with love first. Try to keep visualizations non emotional (or positive if you can manage it) until you're able to conjure love to blast away negative emotions. These abilities are skills to acquire and learn rather than inherent and are atrophied in the vast majority of the population. Practice them and you'll get better at them.

Back on topic. How should we handle the next thread? Call it something like "divinities general" or something?

**You know, I found something to help me not be such a robot. I just find someone who's a complete pathetic cuck like Anthony Burch or this other guy and tell myself "at least i'm not this pathetic faggot".

Not a 100% workable thing like the whole learning to feel love bit, but I guess it's a step in the right direction. Kinda. Pics related.**

Anyway, any tips for effective meditation or should I work on visualization first?

Also, anything worth taking before bed to help get more vivid dreams?

Apple cider vinegar and/or various cheeses. Also, pretty sure we're getting a new thread soon, so you might want to try asking again there.

Seconding this. Partly because we're at two, partly because Reitia is now fairly established…. And partly because there were rumblings around ten months ago in this thread about seeing if Morrígan would be interested in us.

Curious as to if those anons had any results; a modern domain of Victory (which Morrígan would fit into nicely) would go well with the "unwavering hope" theme we have in our current Love and JUSTICE goddesses. Would also be useful to have one familiar with war prior to any 1776ing happens.

We should find out more about her true nature, plus it'd be nice to find out more about Arachne after that one conversation an anon had with her.

Alright, it's decided that the next thread is the /monster/ Pantheon Thread, but what should be in the OP, aside from the archives of the past Reitia threads and so forth?
