Let's evaluate the Congo Genocide and King Leopold II. What is your stance? Did King Leopold II and the Congo Free State kill 10 million and was King Leopold II solely responsible?

This is important. They dub King Leopold II as the 'Hitler of the Congo'.

A lot of the killing was done by Niggers anyway.

He gave niggers the choice between working and losing an arm.
They chose the latter. I think this says more about niggers than it does about the king.

>Did King Leopold II and the Congo Free State kill 10 million?
no, certainly there was a considerable amount of death in the Congo that was caused by mismanagement and penny pinching, but the 10 million number is pulled out of people's asses and it keeps getting bigger as time goes on. First it was 8 then 10, then 15, now there are some people putting it upwards of 23 million which is frankly ridiculous when you consider that the entire country had a population of not even 13 million in 1950. Realistic sources put it between two to five million, and even then their accounting deaths from diseases like trypanosomiasis, and famine.
>was King Leopold II solely responsible?
No, again diseases from the outside world decimated the natives, just as native diseases decimated Europeans when they attempted to move in. Virgin soil epidemics hit both the Europeans and the Africans, similar to, though not as sever as, when the Native Americans got almost annihilated by European diseases. Plus, you also had Tippu Tip invading Eastern Congo and enslaving and murdering a fair amount of people during this time. That's not to say that Leopold was innocent or anything. No sane person should have looked at the Zappo Zap and thought
>I should make these people tax collectors
They were perhaps the closest things to orks to have ever lived. They literally sharpened their fucking teeth to points. When they raided villages they ate many of their victims and sold the rest to the Arabs as slaves.

Is that what he really did? I'm sure he had a few mercenaries. Was he capable of getting better people?

>Is that what he really did?
Yes, he made them as tax collectors after they allied with the Belgian forces and helped defeat several native war bands that tried to push the Belgians out of the central Congo.
>I'm sure he had a few mercenaries. Was he capable of getting better people?
The Congo is a really big place, sure Leo had mercenaries, but most of them were involved doing other things. The Zappo Zap, while absolutely insane, were loyal and already lived in the area, so it was cheap and easy to use them

Liberalism kills.
Forget the Holodomor. Forget the Holocaust. The liberals are behind it all.

most blacks in Africa couldn't be arsed to built anything more than Republics long after the reign of Leopold II and Congo is still pretty much a shit hole. But lets look at the greater continent, even if most were Marxist-Leninist or Social Republics, it took a white man to show them that tyranny has value and garners respect.

I'm sure the Belgian Congo provided them with schools, hospitals, and all that stuff. The horrors of colonialism? Conquest has never been fair, but sometimes it uplifts a people.

There is so much propaganda around the time period and afterwards, that it is extremely difficult to paint a clear picture. Watch the series Adolf Hitler: The Greatest Story Never Told (I'd give it an 8/10; definitely will give a new perspective on him, but as with most documentaries, some things are not entirely accurate; Hellstorm is emotionally-appealing propaganda trash, and One-Third of the Holocaust is better than both of them, though the narrator is very monotone), but don't blindly believe Hitler and the NSDAP were literally the Second Coming and worthy of absolute worship like ZOGbot nu/pol/tard kiddies do. It seems to me, that if one were to cut Hitler's life into sections, one would find that Hitler could possibly be canonized as a saint pre-political career, because of the instances that occurred in his time on the Western Front, but he may have become more atheistic or picked up pagan elements via the other political parties that merged with the NSDAP, and thus should not be seen as saintly; he may have committed suicide even if the Soviets did not actually find his body, and that is a mortal sin no pun intended. As I said before, it's extremely difficult to paint a clear picture, because for all I know his atheistic and pagan comments could be propaganda, because most normalfags at the time were Christian and painting the enemy as in need of Crusading would no doubt appeal greatly to the more devout of Christians. Either way, I do think Hitler was a good person, even if flawed.
Also you can generally tell by looking at their eyes, I think. It's why I believe Rasputin was as evil as they say he was, for his eyes stab the soul like daggers.

Answer 1: Don't think like that, that is begging for ignorance and stupidity, like the left-right ideological paradigm or the concept of "natural rights".
Answer 2: Not necessarily, and quite frankly that's a very dangerous assessment to have. For example, Napoleon was still pretty bad (though the britfags I've seen mention him seem to feel that he was literally Hitler, and get pretty emotional over him; well, at least Lindybeige does, so I can only imagine what they teach in English history classes). Even if you want to pretend he wasn't, you have to accept that he greatly weakened the Divine Right of Kings throughout Europe and helped sow the seeds of later liberal-nationalist rebellions, and was therefore a scourge.

Your word for violence literally means "rule of the people"?

Yes. Väki = people, volk; valta = power, cratia
Väkivalta = violence, mob / volk rule.
