And war, especially in our age, harms morality worse than almost everything else. I don't think of it that way, although materialism has become a big problem, no denying that. I'm all for prosperity, but that can also mean relaxing in the sun, spending time with your family and going to church twice a week instead of doing a fifty hour week. That we don't have this choice is a matter of ideology, but also of redistribution. There's just no security anymore.
