It's finally weekend!
–is what I'd say, but I still work on Saturdays, so it's just another day, but at least it's over(for now).
We're working close to my home right now, so we were able to take it easy and take a few breaks, making it much more relaxed than usual.

It just became the weekend for me now, I usually don't work weekends, but sometimes I have to which sucks.

Well as you can tell, my day was pretty shit, breathed in a lot of dust so now my throat is sore, headphones broke, struggled with a laptop battery and stabbed myself only slightly though. Tomorrow should be better though.

I was putting up ceiling panels today and they make a fucking lot of dust and dirt. I can wear a mask, but then I can't see because my glasses fog up, or I can't see be because all the dirt falls into my eyes.
Well I said only slightly, the bastards who put my old laptop battery together thought it would be fun to glue it shut so no one can ever replace the cells. Using my knife to pry it open, I slipped and cut my hand.

Yeah of course, turns out 18650's are pretty expensive and to replace the cells itself would cost like a 100 bucks, so it'll just be cheaper to buy a second hand battery.

Well the cells died on me and wouldn't charge again so I thought it would be fun to open it up it wasn't fun. They're easy to replace, you just have to weld the batteries together and solder on some leads, the hard part is always the plastic case as its designed not to be opened.
I mean, if its broken then there's no harm to opening it up right?

If there's no warranty, then I guess it can't get much worse. I probably wouldn't try fixing it without some technical background though.
But if you can weld and solder, then you should know what you're doing.

It's an old laptop that I bought second hand so it wouldn't have a warranty, I doubt it would cover natural degradation of batteries though.
Soldering is easy, however welding is difficult because you need a station for it, but you can always make one out of a car battery.
Anyways, I'm a bit sleepy so I might go now. See ya.
