I helped. I understood how to interface with it and everything, because we had a test on it every so often, but I guess he just wanted to do the coding or something.
I have also absolutely no idea why they put the headers on the bottom. I can't put the board in a breadboard because it doesn't fit and it'll short out the pins, and I can't connect anything from the top because the pins are too short. I would flip them over if desoldering headers wasn't such a pain in the arse.

So, it's time for more blogposting
I went to that event (the Miku 10th one I talked about in the last week) with a friend yesterday and it was kinda shitty.
When I get close to the entrance, there was a guy crossplaying as Miku. He greets us and we get it, pay the entrance, etc.
We get a table, and we notice that it has a few people, no more than 20. More people would eventually join, but in the end it wasn't more than 30. In the front there was a huge projector screen that was playing PDF2nd songs. A few cosplayers (2 Luka, 1 Rin, 1 Miku) were in a open area in the front, dancing to the songs. We could've played PDF2nd if we got closer, but eh…
Eventually, that guy from the entrance stops the game and starts to talk about Miku's history. Since he was so happy to talk about this (and he really knew the history), I can say that it was one of the good points about the event.
Then a really small cosplay contest happens. A few non-Vocaloid cosplays could also join (like a Lollipop Chainsaw one).
And finally, a DJ started to play some songs. Vocaloid songs would be the obvious choice for this, right? Wrong. He starts to play some weird videogame/nerdy + SFX music. It was then that we decided we should go out.
Oh, and I forgot to talk about the "thematic food". They had a Vegetable Juice that they couldn't do it properly, a Miku cake that looked alright (despite being a bit small) and the one and only Bad Apple, from Vocaloid™.

Actually, no. One of them was a tad overweight and the other was with her boyfriend 95% of the time. I was kinda amused at this, because last week I had a dream like that. I dreamt that I saw a Luka cosplayer really close to some random dude. I got really angry in that dream and went away. In the reality I just laughed at my powers to predict the future through dreams.
The Rin one was actually the cutest.

Yeah I first got into programming editing a game that was written in c++, then I learned c# and later c++ in college, then more recently I got into mega drive programming which used c but now I've kinda decided that is a bit limiting and more difficult to work with, so I'm going with c++ with SDL (which is actually a c library but it works with c++) which is a really good combination since SDL is used in a lot of indie games and steam
Its easier to get into c++ if you're familiar with c#, right now its mainly the small mistakes and object oriented stuff layout which is giving me a hard time with the order of variables in constructors giving warnings I don't really understand how to fix

The color difference is very slight, it's noticeable, but I had to put them side by side to really compare. The new ones fit the new Miku theme pic better and generally look like a brighter, more saturated version of the old ones, they are pretty good for the new picture, because the new picture is brighter too. I do like how text sits on the older colors more though, but it could be just me being used to it.

Yeah the new colors are more adapted to the new image, I thought the earlier color was a bit off from it, that one was selected based on the earlier image. I like the earlier on in that its not as bright but both look good. I like the dark css too but its more like an alternative theme for when you're in a more dark environment

no, thing is working now finally.
the funny thing is that pretty much nothing I did actually worked. the game suddenly had a small update and after that I was able to play again.
now another problem arises. for some reason I have better textures and such forced, my FPS suffer in situations where there's too many special effects. even if I put everything at minimum my performance gets kind of wonky at times.
