it's different.
the main objective of Gwent is to "score" a bigger army throught a set of 3 rounds, win two of them and you win the match. there's no direct combat, or better said not in the traditional way.
once the match starts you draw 10 cards out of a 25 card deck (minimun required) and at beggining of round 2, 2 more cards and at round 3 one more card. and that's it all you will draw from the deck in a match unless you have spies or other units that let you rotate throught the deck.
with this in mind each card you play is "important" because is very unlikely you might play it again. have a 1 card advantange over the rival at any moment is very significant.
oh and you're forced to play one card each turn other wise you pass but once you do that you can't do a thing for the reminder of a round.

Do you know Magic?
Magic is the base line for most of card games. in that game the combat is "direct" this means you assign monsters to combat and your rival can decide whether they pass or they have to fight other creature in their defense. Hearthstone and clones are like this.
indirect combat is something that happens out of your choice. like some games force all the participants to fight if the game says so to keep advancing with the normal flow of a round. Krosmaga (Dofus/Wakfu card game) is an example of this, after you end your turn all units that are facing other opposing one must fight once so your turn is generaly made for protect those units you summon but also mess with the units of the other one, but still like it or not if the conditions are met units must fight each other.

Magic well isn't much of special, this one it's basically the oldest game who still alive and around us up to this date. I think I've read the creator of Magic itself saying that magic was outdated and was just an experiement (that went out of control and became all mighty and popular), The game he is actually proud of is Netrunner and there's an interesting mechanic on this game. the game is based on asymetric gameplay, there's two sides of a battlefield, one is a Runner and the other one is a Corporation. the Corporation has to prepare plans and complete them to earn Victory points while the Runner has to get throught the defenses of the corportation to steal their plans and score those points for him. there's no combat in the proper way. the main focus of the game is centered around bluffing and preparing yourself for bigger threats as both players must improve their defenses/"weapons" to try to assault the other.

You know I don't know if I'm not misremembering things, but I think a lot of her old videos are gone from her channel. She probably tried to erase her nobody past, trying to leave only what she thought were the real good ones, a lot of Youtubers do that when they make it big. I think I fucked up on my plans.
When I had to buy a system on really short notice I came into contact with this girl from my town that drove to meet me to show me the console.
She was selling the things from the picture >>140203 plus a "free" copy of Everybody's Golf still sealed, a 4GB card and a "free" new soft carrying case for 115 dollars. That was like 15 dollars more than the maximum I was willing to pay for a Vita, so I tried to haggle with her that I didn't need the game, neither the case or the card (I wanted to get a 8GB one new for 20 bucks with free shipping) and asked her to remove them and lower the price, but she was dead set on selling it all at once as a package. So I have some more expensive model than the one in the video, it comes with a real box that tried to copy (miserably) the real Vita one (but noticeably smaller) by even having a real oled Vita pictured on it (with a disclaimer on the back that the picture on the box doesn't reflect the real product lol).
This model is obviously bigger than the one in the video, with a bigger screen and is generally sold for maybe 20 to 30 dollars, 40 here brand new, but I got it for 5 dollars second hand. I don't even remember the thread where I did the unboxing was in a MM again.
On paper is has nice features. Plays any NES and Game Boy Advance game and even comes with 200 pre-loaded ones. You can add your own. You can read e-books, play video (apparently from the sample in it 720p MP4), play music, view pictures, and some basic phone style features like: calculator, calendar, stop watch. It even has a 1027x768 camera (lol better resolution than the Vita).
Another cool thing is that the L1/R1 buttons not only light up but you can also click them! Like I thought they were just decoration. The analogs also work although they feel like crap and go only 4 directions, you don't really need more for old games like the supported ones.
Here's the reality though. There are slowdowns in the emulation (not that big or noticeable really but still), you can't access the select or start menus in games, pressing those buttons opens up the emulation settings window. It's a problem in games like Double Dragon 3.
I can't seem to make it play any kind of video at all. Tried all kinds of bitrates, resolutions, MP4, mkv, nothing, file not supported. I couldn't make it display any text files in a readable way, I doubt you can read even a normal txt files comfortably, the audio quality is probably crap (haven't tried), the speaker is mono despite making it look like it has stereo speakers, the build quality is bad as a whole I could go on and on.
But here is what really kills it. The battery lasts barely an hour, no joke, like maybe 45 minutes. It doesn't come with a charger, just a cable to connect to PC and charge over USB and it charges, I kid you not, for 8 hours straight, maybe more.
So you charge this fucker 8 hours, play 45 minutes then have to charge it again 8 hours.

Good thing you mentioned the Chinese, because when I say bad build quality I am not joking around. This thing has some protective plastic glued above the LCD screen, I don't mean Gorilla Glass or Dragontrail, just ordinary plastic of course. But the Chinese dude that was assembling it left his fingerprints underneath said plastic, so you got some poor sweatshop worker's fingerprints on your screen that can never be removed along with other scuffs and marks between the actual screen and this thing.
It's much, much lighter than a real Vita of course, it's almost a feather in comparison.

No this bullshit deserves a deeper explanation with more ranting.
So the thing uses a mini USB to USB cable like the one the Dual Shock 3 uses. I have a really long one for my controller that I can use to hook it up to my PC to charge and play. (the Jita's cable from the box is just 8 inches) But why would I be leaving my PC on and running in order to play this thing? That's a waste of energy when I could be using my monitor and emulation without slowdowns. Apparently some of the USB ports charge faster and one specific one can be used to charge even when the PC is not powered on, but hell if I know which one it is and it would be really uncomfortable to use.
Obviously it doesn't work if you have to charge it 8 hours and then play barely an hour, or have it plugged in your PC/PS3, so you need to buy a separate charger, probably a phone one would work.
But the cheapest ones are like 15 to 20 dollars, and I'm not dropping 20 dollars on a charger for my 5 buck console. The whole point is mobility what's the deal only being able to properly use it if plugged in anyway?
Either way I was planning on using the real Vita's modular charger. The brick connects with USB from one side, so I kinda also wanted to get a real Vita so that I could finally use my Jita. Yes I was motivated to get a 100 bucks console to play the 5 buck one
But it turns out you can't connect just any old USB cable, the cable that connects the Vita to the charging brick has some inlays on the USB side. I could break the brick's port by pushing in the Jita cable. Are you surprised Sony would make something proprietary?
So I'm screwed again the Vita charger can only be used on the Vita. I'm thinking of selling the Jita at this point.

A Polystation is actually a good investment, they are 5 to 10 bucks and you get tons of fun, Nintendo on a Chip style, no emulation, but I have only played one as a kid on a CRT TV, don't know how well they would work on modern TVs, no Duck Hunt at least. They are a cheap alternative to the NES Mini, which is still emulation, but good.
I've thought about getting one out of nostalgia.

Well, that's an interesting question. Well, my first experience of vocaloid is from playing the games of earlier last year, I always saw stuff about it and I wanted to know the fuss about it. I ended up getting really into the games, because well they were good and I was pretty much always playing them.
