I have been playing it and having fun.
Bit more difficult than before since it seems to throw more technical patterns at you earlier in the game than F did.
Also is there something I'm missing with the chain star notes? They seem to act the same way as normal ones except they follow a different beat.

Getting my ps3 version in the mail tomorrow but I already imported the vita version. I hate the new linked star notes they added in but at least you can change them to the analog sticks on the vita now. I also hate how half the songs and all the dlc are old songs. I like a couple of the new songs though and it'll be nice to play it on ps3 I guess.

Anyone happen to know why unlockables are listed as being unlocked but are not showing up in the shop or customize menu?
The last one I need for Miracle Paint is the Silk Hat. But to unlock it I need to clear the song with the Mini Silk Hat, and it's listed as already unlocked but isn't showing up anywhere.

I am playing too! F 2nd it's the only one game from the series which I have. I love rhytm games and this game isn't dissapointing at all! I want to pass every song with perfect rank on every difficulty. At this time I did it only with easy but normal and hard are on the way. ATM I am avoid extreme difficulty - first I want to improve my rhytm.

Is it wrong that i think that this was not as good as the other, i like the song selection a bit better here but something about the gameplay in this one seemed a bit off

I've played F 2nd more than F but that has to do with F randomly freezing for me so I was scared to play it at times. I like them equally but I think F is the stronger one, considering the hit it was with the fans, while F 2nd gets an equal footing with the wider song selection. I have a soft spot for F 2nd because of The Happiness and Peace of Mind Committee so there's that but F has so many good songs too.
F has many memorable songs, while F 2nd doubles down on classic songs.
I don't know, I like them equally but something does feel different so I can understand why a fan of F might bet thrown off by F 2nd.

Today I got the physical EU release of Project Diva F 2nd for PS3 from my local retailer. I wish I could post photos but I sold my smartphone so I'll use a stock one.
I played the JP version up till now, because at the time when I got my PS3 the English one had yet to release. I remember how hyped
people were for it. (I played the English version of F though, those Extra songs were great)
It was like a dream come true to hold official Miku merchandise in my hands. (I'm not sure if my bootleg nendo Sakura Miku counts)
I usually post with my flag only in Upstairs but I think the occasion warrants it.

EDIT PLAY RECOMMENDATIONS
Since it can be a pain to go through page after page of the user edit rankings without really knowing what you're looking for how about recommending some of your favorite user edits?
To start, I will list some users who generally put out quality stuff and in most cases offer sources for the songs. If you've never downloaded a user edit before, go to Network, Search Edit Data, Online ID Search, then put in their names.
Mauricio1681 has recreated a bunch of Project Diva edits including "Last Night, Good Night" and "Puzzle" that are very close to the original versions. Recommended if you don't own the original.
hisokeee tends towards 10 star difficulty with a lot of fast button spamming, but his "I Can Take My Panties Off" is really fun and not so difficult. A must have imo.
MilesEdgeworth is very consistent and has collaborated with other users to make PV's for them. Haven't played a bad edit from him yet.
RRRProRacer has too many to list, but find a song you like and give it a try. He does the notes for other peoples PV's so there's a lot of variety here.
Vid related is from Ruestir. I just think Miku is really cute in it.

There have been some advancements in PS3 emulation that allow playable performance in F, although with some visual artifacts. Don't know about F 2nd.
It requires a beefy rig and DX12 or Vulkan.

One of the tests was done on GTX970 so you should be all set. (as long as you are using spyware 10 that is). I would test it myself, but I'm on an older windows and I think I will wait until they sort out the artifacts and make it more stable.

Well, I do have that running as a second install on my PC. The only issue is my CPU is pretty old compared to the one they tested in the video, but I don't know how much of an impact that will have.
