Not sure if I am really an Autist (Asperger tier and actually diagnosed) or just Shizoid. From what I have read Aspies have all symptoms of the schizoid personality disorder as well. The main difference is they have em their whole life while shizoid personality disorder is supposed to develop after puberty.
My mental stability got into a crisis in middle school times and I have all shizoid symptoms. I am mostly absorbed into myself, can't really express emotions through body language and I am distant etc. But I really am not sure if I was always like this.
My mother thinks that it must be Aspergers because I had "a very mature vocabulary" at the age of six already and I guess I did kinda well in school. But yeah. Not sure since I had normal friendships as a kid and wasn't THAT socially awkward or isolating.
So long story short… does anyone here know a way to tell SPD and Aspergers appart for sure? I am hoping there are dome deeper differences in the similar symptoms so I can find out. Thanks in advance.

I read Shizoids can be interested in certain people and often have like one actual good friend or close person. I have only one real friend in reality too. So I am not sure if the desire to be with people is enough. I also read that people with SPD often describe that they feel isolated and like they are only watching the game but not playing it. I can't say I haven't felt like this too at times.

I think the correlation with the onset of puberty and the schizoid condition is likely caused by an epigenetic trigger. The schools may be responsible for it because the psychological effects of the school environment may be triggering the schizoid traits in creative individuals as a means of retaining individuality in a system of indoctrination. The split personality of the schizoid can also be seen as defensive. I see no reason why it cannot be co morbid with aspergers.
Aspergers is a mixture of normal variation in personality traits and mental capabilities combined with epigeneticly expressed survival genes that reduce empathy which are expressed due to being exposed to trauma in early development such as premature cesarean sections and high levels of stress in the mother while pregnant. Some symptoms are caused by neurological damage from neurotoxins found in vaccines and other environmental hazards.
