Cool, its pretty nice being able to eat food from your own garden, tastes fantastic too. my family grew some tomatoes and jalapenos this summer, was pretty nice.

It's a better idea to stay on base. All I know is that there is a nice rollercoaster somewhere around there, not sure of the location. Most of what I know about NC is from my cousins who used to live there, they don't anymore though, sorry about that, most of what I know about is in North Florida and bits of Alabama near the border. I got some clothes, a toolset, along with a car. Though the car wasn't really bought, my stepfather did a case for a friend who own a car lot where he imports cars, and is looking to get me one.
