Well porn is a nasty addiction, but this law is ominous for things to come.

This, basically. I am all for porn services requiring age verification, but the state mandating its form sets a dangerous precedent. If the state is to intervene, then in the form of making it a crime to make porn accessible to children, because - as far as I am concerned - it is, according to the natural law. Even that would probably cause more problems than it solves, but at least it wouldn't be treating criminality as the default state, as regulations tend to do. Porn providers would still have the choice of requiring ID verification, face verification, or what else they can come up with. Even good moderation might be enough, it's hard for kids to pass off as adults online for long.

>Let's make sure that the disaffected, affluent youth can't distract themselves anymore in a politically restrictive environment.

Honestly, it's a problem that will solve itself in short order.

Why wouldn't it be? Just throw a clause in the lease agreement, "use of this property to consume any media deemed 'not suitable' by the HOA review board will result in a revocation of the lease and a prompt eviction of the tenants."

What a sensationalist title. Here I was hoping I'd never have to see another gopnik write his disgusting cyrillic garbage, nor have to suffer under their video game retardery again.

I'm still not sure how they determine what a "porn site" is. Are UK ISPs expected to block any site featuring adult content, or does this only apply to large porn sites?

>porn is a nasty addiction

So is eating anything, driving a car, watching television, listening to radio, reading books, or skydiving. Would you approve a BLANKET BAN on any of these activities? Is it ok to shoot people who put food in their mouths, because some people are fat?

Not all people who watch porn are fucking addicted to it moron.

Never mentioned anything about a ban. Simply said it was a nasty addiction. Go visit >>>/nofap/, I would wager they would agree on that. Stop trying to be an edgy blowhard.
