Today, got home from work about 6:45, got my work stuff off, filled out and deposited rent check, hopped back on bike to Meijer, got 5 gallons organic skim milk among some other things, dropped them off at home, went to Goodwill because of today's 50% off sale, hot a bunch, went to Save-a-lot, got some stuff along with 5 gallon jugs of pickles just because I wanted the glass jars, and washed some dishes as well as myself, now I'm in bed exhausted letting my new essential oil mister (lavender and tea tree) work it's magic about past 12.

Time to spend the next 45m listening to Chuck Sonnenburg wax eloquent on yet another show I have no intention of watching while stuffing myself silly on egg whites and overly spiced, salsa'd, and stevia'd lettuce because it's either that or stuff myself silly on pizza delivery or Chinese takeout – and I've already gained about 20lb and sunk probably over $100 on junk food in the past 3 weeks. Went on a longer-than-usual stroll with my dog tonight.
While we were chilling on a bench two girls approached us and asked if they could pet him. I said yes and my dog was really excited to receive some strange pets, which seemed to make the girls happy as well.
It was a brief interaction, but hadn't had spoken to strangers in weeks, it felt nice and I'm glad I didn't come off as a total weirdo for once.

For the love of god I can't keep going on like this.
I have changed so much in just the last few years. I have lost weight. I have gained money. I have a great place to live. So why am I still alone? Why am I so miserable? I'm only getting older and older! I'm going to be thirty years old in a month but the last time I had a connection with ANYONE was eight years ago!
My friends are all dead! My pals killed themselves! I've fallen in love ONCE in my life and those were the happiest days of my adult life! Since she and I parted ways, because we developed into different people, no one else brought the warmth that she did back into my life! I can't remember the last time I spoke with someone at length! Someone I was comfortable with! I've tried so hard to find someone new, I've gone to great lengths to try and make new friends but nothing works.
Every day the future looks more horrifying. Tomorrow is always worse than today. My parents get older and weaker, they're the only reason I choose to remain living and I'll be moving back in with them to take care of them soon and that will give me a front row seat to watch them fade from this world! I don't want to live to see that! I don't want to lose the only warmth left in my life! Why am I like this? I don't want to be alive. Someone please just take me away.

Near the end of my first break, I was finishing up a song, closed my eyes, really got into it. Forgot myself and the rest of the world for several moments. When it finished I pulled out the earbuds, said, "Time to go back to work," but before getting up I looked around, listened, and as reality really set in I– I don't know what happened. I think I had a nervous breakdown; went partially catatonic. Couldn't even stand for several minutes. Behind my eyeballs were heat and pressure about strong enough to push them out my sockets. The rest of my shift felt like I was wearing heavy armor trying to jog through tar. Mind just as slow, and could barely form a thought beyond a stream of, "I hate my life, I hate myself, I want to die," on repeat. Over a month of battling lack of sleep really screws with your head!

I'm 24.
I've spent the last five years of my life self-teaching and working in a very niche self employed thing, producing a handmade product. Since I was an early teen, I craved a sort of brutal difficulty. A need of extreme physical activity to make me feel alive. This job provided for that craving in the early years, but as I progressed, it got easier. I only need to actually work three days a week. And though I overproduce in actual product, my ability to sell the stuff is terrible. I am a very anti-social person, not as in NEET shyness, but.. I don't know. I show up to the places I sell covered in sweat in multiple days old clothes. I act like I'm homeless at all times. So I make bare bill payments and have no money left over, while also helping to pay for my mothers house.
Currently trying to join the military, but was rejected for my eyes being terrible. Just looking for something to get that difficulty high. If my waiver doesn't go through for the mil, will try wildfire fighting, or whatever I can get. Can't really do a normal job any more.

Finally a national holiday is coming in so i can take next week monday and tuesday. I'll finally have the time to do a proper cleanup in my room, which is nice. I want a Switch just for Smash bros. I can buy one right now if I want to but I know it's not a purchase I can justify since no other games on it interest me. So now I'm stuck with the inferior Smash bros. on Wii U and no fun meido mii fighter or Young Link.

I do know those things, I actually got to play it at a friend's house. The input lag is annoying but I (somehow) managed to get used to it kind of fast, that said, it really is an issue. Everything else feels amazing. The game feels faster, smoother, (sort of) more responsive, it feels like the proper Smash bros. that we should have gotten long ago. It's not Melee but it makes a good attempt to be something like it and for what it is I actually really like it. I feel like this dilemma doesn't have much else of a solution than just not giving though until maybe a few more games come along that get my attention as much as Smash bros. did in which case the decision will be easier to make.
