Dig deep. Or dig shallow. You'll find that you have desires or aspirations. Or at the very least you'll find that you find certain things are more meaningful to you than other things.
Maybe you find interplanetary science more meaningful than archeology. Maybe you'd piss yourself if you get to meet some obscure pianist.
The things that you admire or adore, make them an aim in your life. You could aim to be the next Carl Sagan or black science meme guy. You'd probably fail but it's better than staying where you are. You'd be moving toward something meaningful.
Maybe you could happily and voluntarily wage slave knowing that the next time the legend of Zelda orchestra is in town you can go.
I know it's not easy. But keep fighting friend.
If you truly honestly have no desires you should find a Buddhist monastery. But be honest with yourself. You probably have desires like everyone else.

>tfw you experience everything already exists but at the same time nothing exists and your consciousness is trapped in an eternal hallucination watching repetitive cycles of action and consequence play about because you don't exist but desperately wanted to exist as something real and not be alone and bored for eternity, so your consciousness split into infinite possibilities and clung to the dream but now you've remembered life is just a more persistent dream, a joke you're playing yourself because the loneliness and lack of experiencing something entirely new has driven you completely mad

Man… If this is true you and I are the same soul. We'd also be the same souls experiencing all lifetimes and all lifeforms on all planets on all world lines.
I don't think such hypotheticals even if it's possibly true, can help you in this one life that is in front of you, which you can control

i'm not looking for philosophies or ways to live, but things to keep on fighting for and things that make life worth living, my life has been in a downer for the last 3 years and i want to escape that downer with things that give me hope and make me happy, religion/philosophy is a dead end for hope in my case

Ooh, a really good one I listened to earlier about people being miserable trying to find the meaning of life, exploring several means by which many try like indulging in sense-pleasures, being a part of the group, God, and so on. Well worth the 22 minutes of your day to listen and many more minutes considering and pondering the message.

Go outside, find a place that's pretty secluded out in nature. Take the time and just breathe, appreciate the life around you.

>Find your true calling, my guy
Otr, it sounds like you've either lost your passion or never grasped a passion in the first place.
In either case, I'd implore anyone in our predicament to soul search. I think that learning about what you enjoy and then experiencing that enjoyment is the best thing you can do for yourself. Aspire to be the best, or just do it because it's relaxing; either way, respect your passions.
Some hobbies I've tried/ideas you might want to try:
>Dance(my current and personal fav)
>Write poetry
>Run 5k's
>Hiking
>Play LoL/ videogames ig
>Urban exploring
Don't believe it's too late to chase a dream/aspiration, btw!

What about those of us who know our passion(s) but have little to no time nor energy to follow it/them thanks to wageslavery with no way to escape wageslavery except via shotgun mouthwash?

Good question, vroh. Critical thinking is a good trait.
>little to no time nor energy
Trust me on this one: you have time. If you love this passion enough (and you should), you'll definitely feel like making the energy for it.
For instance, a short while ago I had about 6 hours of free time and a (supposedly) strict schedule. Didn't leave me much time, right?
I was also really loving poetry at the time. Still do.🖤
For about half of an hour before I slept, I wrote some poetry. Not alot of time.
Not only that tho, I started noticing lulls at work where I'd have nothing to do or the tasks they assigned were be menial. Perfect time to be daydreaming.
So, I dreamt up different concepts, schemes, lines and whatever else that I liked. After/during work, I'd express these thoughts on paper.
All in all, I probably spent 1.5 hours on poetry that way,
Which means I spent 2 hours of every day doing something I truly enjoy.
Trust me, you'll find time.

Not OP here. Yeah, you are probably right. I have a ton of school work to do nowadays and don't want to output more brain work on my project and write. But maybe I should give it a try. I hope it can work…
For me, I gave myself my own reason to live. Beside achieving few ordinary millestones like getting fit, I'd like to explore options of spreading and mainintaining the goodness.
I think this goal needs little explaining. Everyone wants good neighbours, if number od good people in the world increases, I benefit as well because there are more people woud'd be good to me. Similarily like sharing science and technology helps speed up inovation worldwide.
