ITT post two hypothetical/real people or parties and pose the question of which side is being the rudest.
To start, here's Eric (Or whatever his proper name is). He draws guro pics, typically school shootings, serial killers and cannibalism. However, he seems to be a nice guy, he responds to many comments he gets, even if they are in english which he can't read. Then you have anti-guro (Anti bully rangers) dudes on places like Danbooru who insult him and make assumptions about him.
Who's meaner?

I don't think either of them are particularly unkind or rude. One is probably just a bad artist I haven't seen anything he's made so I don't really have an opinion. I don't see why anyone would spend their time creating that but I've seen worse in movies. It's ok to question movie directors and their frame of mind and life history because so much of them goes into the movies they make. You can see reflections of their lives in their films. Same with actors and acting. Same with painters.
The other side is just people expressing an opinion although the ones in the op are bad at being critics. Is it unkind or rude to question the motives behind publicly displayed art? I think it's ok to questions an artist's motives, frame of mind and perhaps even sanity since creating art is an intensely personal endeavor, and so is viewing it because it provokes the emotions. If you display your art you should expect that kind of critique.

If it's about the webm you posted, I agree with Battleship_Nine, the artist needs help, preferably in the form of anatomy textbooks.

Man is meant to be violent, but female controlled societies suppress our violent nature with medications and the re-education system. Can't help but think of a bird with clipped wings when I see this kind of art. I wouldn't say either side is being mean.

Should probably leave a link to his page cause animation isn't what he usually does. https://www.pixiv.net/member.php?id=806359

I understand that but I feel some people go too far and are just insulting and looking down on those with an interest in guro cause they feel they're "monsters". At least that's how I see it.
