Post three things you are optimistic about. Bonus points for explaining why! Arguing will get you three months in the Shame Cube.

I'll start:

-Scientific progress in slowing / reversing DNA damage that comes with age: https://scienceofsingularity.com/2017/03/30/jeff-bezos-mayo-clinic-back-anti-aging-startup-unity-biotechnology-for-116-million/

I love watching the world I was born into slowly turn upside down, as everything we thought was so far away rushes closer to us. Falling into our grasp. It makes me feel closer to everyone else, somehow. People on this site love to doomsay, but I think, despite recent setbacks, reason is going to win over corruption once we realize what we can accomplish.

-We may have nice robot friends soon!

-I have better, healthier relationships with my friends than I have ever had before.

Few of us will live to see it.

None of us will be able to afford any of this.

We will slowly be killed off until only the richest half billion people remain on the planet, but not before they take everything they can from us, and they won't even let us check out early before that happens.

Optimism isn't kind, OP. You can't be kind by burying your head in the sand. The most cruel people in the world are always smiling and probably feel very good about their future.

but what if being negative is unkind to oneself?

>None of us will be able to afford any of this.

That's silly. Most of us own supercomputers that fit in our pockets. Even the poor can afford them.

You are sentenced to the shame cube, not for ruining my thread, but for being a dummy who doesn't understand economics!

The more I learn the more im convinced this is true, sorry OP. All those nice things may become available for some, but only as means to the globalist endgame. Nothing can be done about it, it's a 256D chess game set up to trick the average person from the very beginning, actually hundreds of years before he was even born ;_;

What is optimism, anon? It's nothing but our fighting spirit. If you let dread and paranoia cow you into giving up, then there is no way you could ever feel optimistic. Even if victory were handed to you on a silver platter, you would never experience the fighting spirit. You could even be said to have let yourself be cucked out of it.

Well, I am not really the optmistic kind, but lately an effort was made on my behalf in order to be more … optmistic.

-The darkest hour is just before the dawn.

- I would probably not fail in at least 1 of my university classes

- I've been exercising and trying to eat healthier stuff.

I don't see the problem with it, as long as you keep an open mind and try to improve the world

That's good, anon! Keep focusing on the good things, and making them multiply

/kind/ is just a board for /pol/acks to pat each other on the back. Kindness is upheld here in the same way that Jesus' teachings are upheld in the US.
